//-------------------------------------------------------// Sons of Akatosh -by Master4871- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Time Wound //-------------------------------------------------------// Time Wound Alduin faced the Dovahkiin, smirking evil throughout his entire being.  Flying away before the Dovahkiin could use Dragonrend once more, Alduin laughed at the vain attempts the Dovahkiin and Paarthurnax were making to stop him. "I will not be defeated here, not by a joor, not by anyone!"  Alduin yelled in defiance over the shouts going between the three beings on the strunmah.  Turning around to fly away to Sovngard, he came into contact with another dragon.  Paarthurnax bashed into the elder brother, smashing the both dragons' heads together. "No Alduin, this I cannot allow!"  Paarthurnax yelled.  "One last time Dovahkiin!  Quick, use Dragonrend!"  He commanded. The Dovahkiin yelled nothing back in his last shout, sending all of his energy into the energy heading towards the two dragons.  In all the confusion going throughout the Throat of the World, Alduin clamped his jaws on Paarthurnax's neck, trying to crush his younger brother's neck. "You will not kill me, without taking out yourself!"  Alduin yelled in victory. "Aw, that is where you are wrong brother." The Dragonrend shout made contact with the brothers, forcing them to understand mortality.  Already stumbling in flight, the two dovah tackled each other once more, making sure to take each other out.  The shout's effect didn't take long to affect the dov flying in the sky, sending them crashing into the ground.  Flying through the air, the two brothers crashed into the time wound on the strumah, making time and space wrap itself around them. "What have you done Paarthurnax!?"  Alduin questioned. "I don't know, but you have been held back once again Alduin!" "My teeth to your neck Paarthurnax!"  Alduin once again lunged himself towards his brother, using a thu'um while flying towards him. "Yol Tor Shul!" Paarthurnax returned Alduin with his own shout, "Fo Krah Diin!" Both dragons were locked in an epic struggle between whom had the better strength in their shouts.  With Alduin's fire breath, and Paarthurnax's frost breath, they were evenly matched.  Neither thu'um would advance farther than the other while stuck in a bound, a connection between the two shouts. As this was happening, the Elder Scroll's lasting effect on the time wound had worn out, releasing the two brothers into another world completely. "Ah, another world to enslave."  Alduin observed. "Krosis, Alduin, but your thur will not affect this unknown world!" "We will see brother!  Fus Ro Dah!" Paarthurnax was sent flying through the air, towards a castle of all things.  To his surprise, it reminded him of High Hrothgar on his strunmah.  Snapping back to reality, Paathurnax realized he could not use his left wing, spinning him into his inevitable crash with the castle.  At the last second, Paarthurnax used Unrelenting force, blowing out the castle's wall he was about to make contact with.  He wasn't, however, able to crash through the flooring when he made contact with the inner structure.  As soon as he crashed in the castle, it seemed that beings were there to try and apprehend him.  Paarthrunax still had enough strength to get up and speak, which he very much planned to do. "What is this, a dragon crashing into the Canterlot Castle.  Guards, restrain it!"  Paarthurnax could not tell who or what was speaking, but  it struck him as odd that the beings had said a dragon, as if they had already knew of them. "Guards, what is going on in..."  A more regal tone spoke now, instead of the rougher voice found in the guards' voices, "...Here?" The voice continued. "Princess Celestia, as you can see a dragon has crashed into your throne room."  The guard replied. "Can you speak dragon?" The Princess asked. "Aye, yes."  Paarthurnax could now move his head to see what the intelligent beings were, expecting nothing more than humans.  To his surprise they were not any race back in Tamriel, but an animal.  "I did not expect you to be key." "Um, excuse me?"  The Princess innocently questioned. "Aw, you do not speak dov.  Key, means horse."  Paarthurnax explained. "Well, we're not exactly horses, but you can just call me Princess Celestia."  Celestia replied. "Krosis, I did not expect my brother to use that thu'um." "Please guards, let our new guest sit up."  The Princess commanded. "Yes, your highness."  The guard said with unease. "Now you said something about your brother?" Celestia asked. "Aw, yes.  My brother.  You need to tell your people that everyone of you are all in danger."  Paarthurnax warned. "We've handled many dragons before, what makes you think that we can't handle your brother?"  Celestia asked. "We, are not from your time or world."  Paarthurnax calmly spoke in his regular tone,  "The Kelle, sent my brother and myself here." "What do you mean, not from here?"  The Princess asked with concern. "Well, that is something to be told in the morning.  For now, get your rest, and come to me in the morning."  Paarthurnax said. "Alright.  Before I go, do you need a place to rest for the night?" "That, would be nice.  A dovah that cannot fly, is a dead dovah." "Okay, well, for now, I will allow you to rest here, in the throne room."  Celestia offered. "And before you go Princess,"  Celestia turned in acknowledgement, "I would like to meet a dragon here, in your world.  Do you know of any that would be willing to speak with me?" "Celestia pondered his question for a moment, and than it hit her.  "Well, there is one." //-------------------------------------------------------// Second Born of Akatosh //-------------------------------------------------------// Second Born of Akatosh Twilight sporadically got up from bed from the news she just received.  A letter, containing much information on the events within the past five hours, was sent to her from Princess Celestia.  Not know what to expect, Twilight swiftly got everything she thought she would need.  The most important piece to Celestia's puzzle, was Spike.  She told the Unicorn to bring the baby dragon along with her, not explaining why, but to just do so. Twilight went up to her bedroom one last time, grabbing her crown and placing it atop her well groomed head.  "Come on Spike, we don't want to keep Princess Celestia and the special guest she has for you waiting, do we?"  The Unicorn went by her friend, checking to make sure the baby dragon was presentable to Royalty such as Celestia. "I-I don't know..."  The baby dragon lost his train of thought while thinking about who the guest could be,  "What if the guest doesn't like me, I mean, we don't even know who, or what, they are." "Well, Princess Celestia thinks it is important that you meet this guest, who has specifically asked for a dragon the Princess knew personally."  Twilight opened the door for the dragon, letting the little lizard go through first.  "And I'll be there for support." "Well, who else is going?"  Spike curiously asked. "Just Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash."  Twilight opened the front door of the library for the dragon, once more letting him through first.  "The others were too busy to come and see the guest." "Alright, well, let's get this show on the road..."  Spike trailed off once more, now thinking of who would even want anything to do with a baby dragon in Ponyville. ...... Twilight's royal carriage arrived at Canterlot Castle's main carriage cells.  There, Twilight was to take Spike, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy to see the amazing new guest that wanted to see Spike.  According to Celestia, it was urgent, and that meant Twilight didn't want to disappoint. As soon as they got there, it seemed the group instantly got to the throne room entrance, where Celestia was already waiting to see them.  She gave a polite smile and a small, but petite bow to her student. "This way Spike."  The Princess was blunt and straight to the point.  She wanted to know why Spike was important. "So, who is this guest that wanted to see..."  Spike stopped talking in aw of the dragon that sat before him.  "...me?" "Drem Yol Lok.  Greetings."  The dragon greeted the guests that walked into his presence.  Paarthurnax leaned in closer to the young dragon, eyeing him with his old blue eyes.  "You, are Dovah, but, can you speak as a Dovah?" "Um, what?"  Spike was confused.  Didn't he already speak like dragons do?  "What do you mean?" "Can you use the blood within you to shout, to muster your energy into a thu'um?" "I don't know what any of that means?"  Spike answered. "A thu'um, is something that dragons from my realm can do.  Not only does it come to us as well as speaking, but it is the way we speak."  Paarthurnax turned to the gaping hole in the wall, "May I... demonstrate Kulaas?" The Princess gave a simple nod in reply. "Yol Toor Shul!"  As Paarthurnax yelled his thu'um, fire came out of his gaping maw, spreading far from the castle's wall and outside.  "That, in your language, is known as fire breath.  It, like all other thu'ums consist of three words.  These words are called words of power.  You say these, and you speak the dragon language." "I can breath fire without your fancy words of power though."  Spike pointed out. "Aw, but did you not catch that we are not from the same realms.  Where you can breath fire without using words, I need to say words to breath fire." "Can I do any of that fancy stuff?"  Spike asked. "Krosis, I do not know.  That is up to your predecessors whether or not I teach you the way of the voice.  There is however a more dangerous and important task at hand."  Paarthurnax turned to Celestia,  "Kulaas, my brother Alduin, do you know his name among the joore?" "Sorry, I don't?"  The Princess admitted. "Krosis, again, I am still unaware that none of you know the dragon language, or what anything from my realm is about."  Paarthurnax let out a sigh, "My older brother Alduin, is the world eater.  The Bane of Kings.  He, as the joore call it, has a hunger to swallow the world." "So, Alduin is a bad guy, right."  Rainbow pointed out. "Aye.  He has many problems, as do most firstborns.  Our father, the father of all dragons, made my brother, the second dragon to ever live.  Me being the third." "Who was the father of all dragons?" Fluttershy asked. "Akitosh.  He is one of the daedric gods in my realm, and chose the form of dragon during the first wars.  He modeled myself and Alduin, and all of the dragons after himself.  I, am the second born of Akatosh, Alduin's younger sibling." "So, I was modeled after this Akatosh fella?"  Spike curiously asked. "Yes, as am I." "Wait, you said you're the third dragon to ever live.  How old does that make you?" Fluttershy asked. "Thousands of years old.  I have lost track after a while."  The old dragon replied. Celestia couldn't believe that a creature older than herself would be able to present itself to her, but her suspicions of other creatures being immortal have been confirmed. "So, you fight your brother Alduin, but for what reason?"  Twilight inquired. "Ah, the burdens of firstborn, were carried down to the younger sibling, in this case.  Alduin was the "King" of our era, thousands of years ago.  The people of the time, the Nords as they called themselves, were slaves to us dragons." "Wait, you were part of this?"  Celestia asked, a hint of anger in her tone. "Aye, tis a dragon's greed that drives him to do these things."  Paathurnax looked to Spike, seeing the dragon blush and look embarrassed.  "It appears, that you have that here as well."
