Of all the Griffons in the small, isolated community atop Smoky Mountain, Gilda is by far the AWESOMEST! She's got the fastest wings, the sharpest talons, the shiniest beak and DEFINITELY the most colourful vocabulary in town.

But such words as dweeb and lame-o and cool can only get her so far in Equestria. Her aspirations of professional flying as a Wonderbolt are little more than a pipe dream, and she's left with little in the option of mates as the only other Griffon without gray hairs on the Equestrian side of the Eastern ocean is a younger, and far more resentful male with a deep hatred for the "inferior species" known as ponies.

With her homeland miles away, her dreams unreachable and her future husband completely lame, Gilda's story would seem to be a real bore. But things spice up - and not in the good way, when dreadful news from the east reaches her cave home on Smoky Mountain.

She's gonna be... Ugh, no I can't say it. I was totally going to say "Busy as a bee" but then I'd be legally obligated to set my hair on fire.

Anyways, this is... The Book of Gilda.
