Carter Moores is your vaguely average video gaming tester. Now given the opportunity to test the N.I.T. (Neural Impulse Transfer) virtual reality system, he will experience gaming as if he were really there. Even the fact that the game is of a little girls' T.V. show does not deter him, unlike the many gamers before him. Near-sentient A.I. characters, the utilization of his senses, and the moderately large pay-check may prove the day to be the best in his life.

But as he ventures through this world, forces conspire on both planes of reality to further their own goals. One malevolent being, pursing nothing but power, on one side. On the other, a being purses the prospect of existing and furthering its existence beyond its world.

Moores is merely the intersection that will decide which one will advance to their goals.
