Soldiers Among Equestria
Welcome to Neighveda...Sort of
Previous ChapterNext ChapterNeighveda State, Delta Six Headquarters
The sun was starting to rise along the horizon in Neighveda. All of the soldiers were knocked out from the anomaly caused by the Elements of Harmony.
As an hour has elapsed, the soldiers were starting to recover after the anomaly that the Elements of Harmony produced. They all have huge headaches as they try to get up on the cold hard tile floors.
“Everyone okay?” Evan asked as he got up from the cold hard tile floor. The other soldiers gave their Captain a thumbs up.
They went inside the research room to find the Elements of Harmony. They checked the drawers, the table, closets and the bookshelf. However, they haven’t had any luck finding them.
“Where are the necklaces?” Evan said as he looked through the boxes.
“Heck if I know. They must’ve disappeared after that incident.” Daemon said as his place the books back on the shelves that Takashi and Alejandro messed up.
“This is bad. They could be another dimension for all we know.” Takashi exclaimed with his eyes wide as disks while holding a book.
“Calm your bits Takashi. You’re getting riled up like a hogtied turkey” Alejandro replied as he was still looking in the trash can.
“Why would you check there?” Chris said to him.
Samuel looked outside the window of the room. He looked at the base and told the Captain.
“I hate to change the subject mates, but we should check outside if they caused any damage to the base?” Samuel said while looking outside the window at the base.
Even pondered this for a moment before speaking again, he could care less about the necklaces for the base was important. He remembers that every month the inspectors of the G.D.I would come and inspect the bases to make sure it’s in perfect condition.
“Good idea, let worry about those necklaces later. Check the base for any damages. Keep your sidearm within reach.”
The sun was rising along the desert horizon. The soldiers stepped outside the main building into the courtyard of their base, each of them split up around the base to inspect for any damages caused by the Elements of Harmony, lucky for them; everything seems to be in order.
“Main building’s okay, no damages, cracks, and no piles of trash” Evan said, “No damage on aircraft, wheeled vehicles are okay.” Takashi inspected all of the vehicles.
“All the courts are good, and the rec room seems fine, everything good according to Hoyle” Alejandro said.
“Armory seems okay, nothing ez missing, kitchen ez en perfect order.” Dimitri said as he checked the armory and the kitchen.
Daemon checked the rooms and the equipment, then lastly Chris who check the bathrooms and the electrical appliances, “Everything is okay, water pressure’s good, and the power generator is working.” he muttered to himself.
After the inspection of their headquarters, Evan decided to hold a meeting to discuss last night’s mysterious events.
They all took their assigned seats around the table. Takashi does not like it when the Captain hold meeting because he gets bored easily, but in this scenario he wanted to discuss in this meeting.
The Captain looked at everyone in the room; they were looking at him as he was the teacher giving a lecture in Collage.
“Alright guys, we all know why we’re here.” Evan started.
He turned to Daemon. “Daemon, what happened while you were at the research room?” Evan asked.
Daemon thought for a moment, trying to recall the events that happened last night.
“Well, when I started to leave the room, I saw something glow, it was the necklaces, and then they released something that connected all them together with a thin beam of light. Finally they ascended and shot out a beam towards the sky.” Daemon explained.
“I don’t know what to say to that. Seems like something from another world, dimension, or even universe...” Evan said.
After a long discussion, theories and arguments the soldiers finally began to accept what happened.
“Okay…I haven’t got a clue what to do, my mind is literally a mess right now” Evan took a deep breath.
“Maybe we should go out and check surroundings” Takashi suggested.
“That’s a nice start. Takashi take a patrol car and use it to explore the area, Alejandro, you will follow him.”
They both left the main and headed towards the garage. Evan watched as they closed the metal door, he turned back to his other five guys.
“The rest of you will stay with me and we'll try to contact G.D.I.”
The garage is huge; it was two stories high and had all kinds of patrol vehicles parked in a line. The vehicles in the garage consisted of three 2013 matte black Ford Expeditions used as Patrol SUVs, and three metallic silver Ford Taurus as their patrol cars given by the G.D.I.
Even though they were tuned and ready to drive, Takashi did not want to use them because this was a perfect opportunity to drive his hard-earned car; his Toyota GT86.
“Use a patrol car, I do not think so, this is perfect to drive my GT86” Takashi said as he went for his orange Toyota GT86, “I always wanted to drive this, but I never have time because we are so busy with missions.”
Alejandro had the same idea as Takashi; he did not want to use a patrol car. He wanted something with more horsepower. Alejandro went for his personal, custom black and gold striped 2013 mustang that he saved up since he was a teenager.
“Beautiful as ma mum’s apple pie” Alejandro said as he got into his muscle car. They both exited the base gate and sped off to the nearest road or path they can find.
Meanwhile in the air, Princess Celestia and her guards were nearing at the base, which that is till one of her guards caught sight of an orange metal object and a black metal and gold object heading towards the direction of Las Pegasus.
“Your majesty, I see two metal objects’ traveling at great speed, they’re heading towards Las Pegasus” the guard said to Princess Celestia still eying the two vehicles.
“Take six of guards and stop them, I don’t want any harm coming towards my subjects,” Princess Celestia glared at the two vehicles.
“Yes, your majesty” the guard said. The six guards flew over towards the two cars, while the rest of them, including the Princess, flew toward the Delta Six headquarters.
Back on the road, Takashi and Alejandro were racing head to head. They became so competitive about who's car's better, they forgot their main objective. Their front view was a blur as they pushed their cars to the limit. Takashi’s
Japanese tuner may be faster, but Alejandro’s American muscle has more torque.
They kept racing down the dusty road till they saw a sign ahead that says Neighveda, which caught their attention.
Takashi and Alejandro slowed down their vehicle and pulled up next to the sign.
They were surprised to see a sign that’s related to Nevada, but with the word Neigh replacing the Ne. “The nerve of people vandalizing property, it makes mad as a bull wanting to charge” Alejandro said as he got out of his mustang
“I do not think this is vandalized, it looks too real to be counted as vandalized” Takashi said as he opened his car door to see the sign
“Then why is it called Neighveda instead of Nevada?” Alejandro asked.
“I have no idea.” Takashi replied.
Back in the air, six Pegasus guards saw the two human beings next to the sign.
“There they are!” One the guards pointed out.
“Ready yourselves stallions, and wait for my signal.” the leader of the guards commanded.
They flew in closer towards the two soldiers; the leader would try to cope to them while being backed up by the other five in the air with their spears ready in case something goes wrong.
Alejandro was looking at the desert surrounding before he saw the Pegasus guard flying in on them
"I don't believe ma eye's, is that a Pegasus?” Alejandro rubbed his eyes to make sure he's not hallucinating.
The leader of the guards flew down and landed on the ground, then he starting trotting towards the two soldiers.
“Hey Takashi, you ever saw a Pegasus?” Alejandro asked Takashi while still looking at the guard.
Yes, but only in movies, and cartoons.” Takashi replied.
“How ‘bout one in real life?” Alejandro asked.
Takashi spun towards to face Alejandro.
"Wha-” Takashi was speechless. Right there, was a Pegasus clad in silver and golden armor, trotting towards them, and by the look on his face, he’s doesn’t look happy.
“Halt, state your business,” the Pegasus guard said with extreme authority which the two felt like they were in prison.
“My name is Takashi” he said nervously.
“Alejandro, pardner.” he said nervously.
“You two are under arrest for the threatening of Las Pegasus” the guard stated in a gruff voice
“But we didn’t even-" Alejandro started.
“Silence! You will comply or be neutralized by other Solar Guards.” the leader shouted at them making them almost as stiff as a rock.
“Others?” asked Alejandro
“I think he means those guys,” Takashi whispered while pointed at the guards in the sky, spears at the ready.
The rest of the guards were flying towards the base with Princess Celestia. They reached the base and started to land down in the middle of Delta six headquarters.
“This place is…interesting to say the least. There are a lot of unusual objects here,” Princess Celestia said as she exited her gold chariot. Two of her personal guards followed her, as the others guarded the gold chariot.
They saw the basket-ball court, the swimming pool; they even went to the garage which made them gasped in awe as they saw SUV’s and patrol cars.
“What kind of carriages are these? They look..big and boxy” Celestia said as she touched the matte black Ford Expedition with her golden shoe, leaving a scratch on the paint job.
“They look nothing like the carriage we have, your majesty” the guard said as he touched the Ford Taurus.
After minutes of inspecting the patrol vehicles, they both exited back to the courtyard. They walked around the base and saw many things that intrigued them, but they’re main priority is to find the one who owns the base.
Meanwhile in the main room, Evan was trying to contact G.D.I. for assistance. He has been trying to reach them on the radio, but with no luck.
“This sucks, I can’t contact them,” Evan said as he heard a static sound through the radio.
“Vhat do you expect? Ze necklaces might have fried our electronics,” Dimitri said
“You know, where are those two? They’ve been gone for a while” Samuel said. Suddenly they heard a knock on the door.
“It must be Takashi and Alejandro” Daemon said “About time, I was starting to get worried about them.”
“Chris can you please get the door?” Evan asked.
Chris nodded his head and walked out of the room and towards the door. When he opened the door, he wasn’t greeted by two soldiers, but an armored Pegasus giving him a glare that made him freeze.
Back in the main room, Evan was starting to get a little impatient with him.
“What’s taking him so long? It doesn’t take a minute to open a door” Evan said.
“Maybe he’s-"
“Keep moving!” a loud and commanding voice spoke.
“Blimey, what was that?” asked Samuel.
“It zounds likes a guard” Dimitri stated.
“Chris must be in trouble, come on guys!” Evan said, upholstering his Desert Eagle "Daemon, stay here and try to get ahold of G.D.I, we'll be right back."
Meanwhile outside, Chris was walking while the guard was pointing spear behind him. Chris didn’t want to cause any trouble, so he followed the guard’s orders. Lucky for him, the three saw the situation he’s in.
“Stop right there ‘mate!” Samuel shouted, upholstering a HK45, and pointing it at the guard that was holding Chris. “Let him go!”
“I vouldn’t do that if I vere you” Dimitri spoke, pointing his MP443 Grach at the guard.
“Stop right there buddy, I don't what species you are, you better not harm him or this will get ugly,” Evan pointed his Desert Eagle at the solar guard.
"What will get ugly?” came from a motherly voice.
They all turned to the direction where the voice is coming from.
