Ponyville Expedition

Previous Chapter

Neigh-veda State, Delta Squad Six Headquarters

On a cold morning, roughly around 6:00 a.m., Evan decided to hold an meeting to discuss the order of the day and what to expect.  People were slowly sitting in their assigned position, Samuel especially, was not every receptive about the emergency meeting.

Chef Dimity prepared his usual breakfast feast of coffee, eggs and bacon and etc.  But today he includes something extra; oriental cuisine; the fragrance of his cooking slowly woke up the team.  Everyone sat down and the Captain began his speech.

“Morning guys,” Evan said to his guys as he started to wake up from the smell of food.

“Morning Captain” they all replied to him.

He was a chef before he joined Delta Squad Six, he learned from his mom who now owns a very popular restaurant in Moscow.

“You guys excited for Ponyville?” Evan asked as he got a plate.

“Yeah, I’m bloody stoked,” replied Samuel.

Evan knowing that Ponyville was going to be a challenge, he did not show any emotions to describe the challenges they are about to face.  To the team it was just seemed like it will be business-as-usual, Daemon, especially felt stoked about going.

“I hope they don’t see us as monsters,” Daemon replied, his mouth full with flat-bread along with fried potatoes along with his Greek yogert.

“They won’t chase us out right?” Takashi asked, eating his traditional Japanese breakfast.

“You vorry too much Takashi,” Dimitri was using his fork to lift some stuffed crepes into his mouth.

“Don’t worry y’all it’ll be fine,” Alejandro said pigging out on a slice of apple pie and his plate of churros.

.

“Ugh...use your bloody manners” Samuel scowled at him, slurping his cup of tea and going at his plate with sausage and biscuits.

“As long we are in our best behavior and act normal, I’m sure we’ll be fine,” Evan started to eat his fish and eggs with a side plate of his ripe cold Philippine Mangoes.

“I hope so,” Chris replied, munching on his waffle drizzled with syrup with bacon.

After they finished their breakfast they all went to the main to room to wait for further instructions from their Captain. They all packed up the night before so they had a lot of time to kill.

It was still dark outside the window so Dimitri and Samuel decided to take a nap. Takashi was playing Left 4 Dead 2 on his laptop on expert mode, Alejandro and Daemon was stacking a deck of cards; Chris was listening to music on his Iphone4.

Meanwhile in the Captain quarter's, Evan packed the night before. He packed his personal items including his his laptop and his sketchbook, the things he would not leave behind. He turned off the lights and proceeded to the main room.

“Everybody packed up?” Evan said as he walked into the main room

“Yes sir!” six of his guys said as they kept doing their little nick-knacks.

“Hey Evan?” Daemon asked as he stacked the last card completing their tower. Making Alejandro pump his fist in the air.

“Yes Daemon?” he replied.

“Does Twilight know we’re coming?” he asked.

All of sudden, the room began to darken and an mystical green fire ignited out of thin air and formed a scroll that fell down to the table catching everybody’s attention. However it landed on the stack of cards Alejandro and Daemon made, knocking it down making a huge pile of cards. Everyone's eyes widen as they gazed in awe and fright.

“Did zhat scroll appeared out of nowhere?” Dimitri woke up from his slumber.

“That is weird” Takashi stated looking over his laptop.

“I know right?”, replied the Captain.

They all looked with fascination and curiosity at the scroll in the middle of the table.  “Is anybody going to read it?” Evan questioned he did not touch it because he did not want to get burned from the scroll.

The soldiers were also scared to picked up the scroll. So they all turned to their fearless leader to open the scroll

“Fine…,”  Evan said with a sarcastic tone.

Evan picked up the scroll from the table,he took off the ribbon and unrolled the scroll. He began reading the scroll.

My fellow subjects, I have already sent my faithful student this scroll in advance telling that you seven will come and visit Ponyville. I have high hopes that you seven will get along with my student and my loyal subjects residing in Ponyville.

-Princess Celestia

He rolled up the scroll and put the ribbon back on.

“Good, now we don’t worry about Twilight being surprised,” Evan stated.

The soldier cleaned up their mess and packed their items back in their backpacks, they left the base around 7:20am and was greeted by a wave of cold hard air.

Outside, the sky displayed a beautiful gradient of blue and black, it was still cold that they can see their breaths when they breathe.

The soldiers were shivering a little from the cold air as they strolled over to the landing pad where the helicopter is resting. Two of them were pushing a cart loaded with two metal cases. They touched the cold metal of the helicopter and slid opened the doors.

Evan went inside and placed the cases in the middle of the helicopter while Takashi was giving him a hand.

“Do you think we need this Evan?” Takashi asked as he helped Evan secured the cases carrying their weapons, Battle Dress Uniforms, and their tactical gear in the middle of the helicopter.

“Takashi, even though Ponyville sounds like a safe place, I want to be sure that we’re ready for anything,” he replied as he secured the last cable.

Evan was starting to have second thoughts, he didn't want to bring something dangerous to a peaceful village. Knowing he has confidence in his team, he took a deep breath and resumed tightening the last cable.

“I’m a little worried mate, I don’t want to scare them with the weapons,” Samuel said to Evan as he sat down.

“That’s why they’re in the case. We still have our sidearms just in case we run into some trouble. We’ll only use them if need be.” Evan shook the case to make sure its secured well.

Takashi went to the cockpit and started the helicopter with Evan as co-pilot. The other five placed their backpacks on the overhang and sat down on the bench. They buckled their seat harnesses and waited for departure.

Evan sat on the black leather chair and buckled his safety harness. He took out his copy of the map of Equestria and laid it flat on the dashboard.

“Let’s see… we are here, Neigh-Veda, Ponyville is northeast from here” he placed his finger on Ponyville.

Evan saw the sun rising in front view of the helicopter. His heart was beating with excitement like the day he first went to Tokyo with his family. He took one deep breath before starting their adventure.

“Okay...Takashi, you are clear for take-off, proceed northeast from here,” Evan said to him.

“Ok, leaving for Ponyville” Takashi lifted the helicopter and flew to the direction Evan assigned in the morning sky.

Ponyville, Twilight Sparkle’s Library

It was bright and sunny in Ponyville. The ponies were doing their normal business, talking to other ponies, cutting the grass, and selling produce at the market. It sure is a busy day in Ponyville.

In the Library of Ponyville which is home to Celestia's personal student, Twilight has finished arranging the books on her shelves in alphabetical order. All of a sudden, Spike came running towards the stairs towards Twilight with a scroll in his hands.

“Twilight! I got a letter from the Princess!” Spike exclaimed.

“A letter from the Princess? Let me see,” Twilight said as she grabbed the scroll with her magic.

She opened the scroll and began to read it.

My faithful student, there are seven beings called humans who are on their way to Ponyville to assist you in making friends. Do not worry about these humans, these seven are the nicest beings I ever met. I hope you will enjoy their company as they try to associate with my subjects. -Princess Celestia

“Brilliant, first I have to reside in Ponyville now I have seven unknown creatures that are going to teach me about friendship...” Twilight said annoyingly.

“Well, Princess Celestia said that there’s more to life than just books, Twilight.” Spike said to her.

“Spike, you know I don’t get along with everypony, especially those in Canterlot.”

“Well maybe this could be an perfect opportunity to go out and introduce yourself and associate with other ponies. The Princess said they were nice, and I can’t wait to meet them!”

Twilight looked out the window. She saw the ponies meeting and greeting each other. She looked a little while before turning back to him. She knew that Celestia was her teacher and she would do anything to her requests.

“Well, if it’s the Princess orders, then I shall give it my best!” Twilight said with gusto.

“That’s the spirit!” Spike yelled with excitement.

Equestria Kingdom, 7:45 am.

The MH-60X Stealth hawk was flying over the lush green scenery, the the rock purple mountains, the clear blue lakes, the forest, and some mysterious ruin remains of what used to be a castle. The sun was higher in the sky now compared to this morning.

It was so bright that Evan and Takashi had to wear sunglasses to protect their eyes from the radiation.

It was a long trip from Neighveda to Ponyville, so the soldiers in the passenger section decided to do some activities to pass the time away. One of them had a deck of card and offer to play as game of poker, they used the weapon cases as a table to lay out the cards. The air inside the MH-60X was a little humid so the cards were a little soggy.

“I can’t wait to zee vhat Ponyville going to look like,” Dimitri said excitedly as he placed his ace card.

“You got that right mate, I’m looking forward to meeting...ponies,” Samuel replied, hiding his deck of cards from Chris who was using his Iphone as mirror.

“I hope we can get along, this is a big challenge for us” Daemon said to Evan.

Evan got out of his chair, leaving Takashi at the cockpit to fly to Ponville. He walked to passenger section of the helicopter where the rest of Delta Squad Six were sitting and used the second case as a chair to sit on.

“Don’t worry guys, as long we act normal and be on our best behavior it’ll be fine.” Evan said.

“That’s right y’all, no need to worry. I’m pretty sure they’re as civilized as us.” Alejandro said.

“It’ll be fine.” Chris said

After 30 minutes passed the helicopter was nearing Ponyville.

“That is Ponyville, right?” Takashi stared down at the quaint village.

“Looks like it…” Evan looked at the map. “Yep that’s it”.

Meanwhile, Twilight was lying on her wooden balcony of her house reading a book. It was "Friendship for Dummies Equestria Edition".

“Twilight, I thought you were going to meet other ponies,” Spike said.

“I’m going to, I just need to do some research on how to make friends and associate with other ponies,” Twilight replied.

“Twilight, reading a book about friendship isn’t going to help you make friends. You need to get out—”

Spike was interrupted as a huge black flying object flew low over the town kicking up dust, and blowing Twilight’s mane into a disaster.

“What in the wide world of Equestria was that?” Twilight dizzily said.

“Not sure, but look at your hair!” Spike chuckled and pointed at her mane.

The MH-60X Stealth hawk was flying over the village at a very low altitude the spinning blades of the helicopter kick up dust around the village.

The powerful winds generated by the blades caused some ponies manes to end up in a disaster. Some of the ponies were scared of the helicopter because of its size, shape, and the color. It almost resembled a black dragon flying over the village.

“Do you think it’s necessary to fly over the village at this height?” Evan asked Takashi.

“I need to find landing spot, and let them know we are here.” Takashi replied.

“I think you’re scaring everybody in the area” He pointed at the running ponies below the front window.

“Do you know where we can land?” Takashi asked Evan.

Evan looked outside the helicopter window. He saw an empty field void of houses and civilians.

“Land there.” He pointed at the field.

“Okey” Takashi flew towards the abandoned field.

The helicopter started its decent, Alejandro returned his card to his case and put it back to his backpack. The helicopter reached the area and landed nicely on the ground.

“Nice landing, Takashi” Evan complemented.

“Thank you Evan. It was hard, but good spot, right outside of Ponyville.”

The helicopter’s blades continually slowed as Takashi switched off the controls.

Evan slid opened the side doors, and jumped out. He face was blown with fresh, crisp, and breezy wind. “Wow, Ponyville sure looks nice,” Evan said, looking the village. His other guys jumped out of the helicopter and admire the view of the village.

“Feels like I’m in old Wales,” Samuel said, looking at the buildings.

The soldiers took their backpacks that contained their belonging off the overhang compartment and wrapped it on their backs. They left the metal cases in the helicopter secured so no-pony can take it.

“Shall we?”  Evan secured the side door of the helicopter.

“Yes sir!” all six of his guys said.

The seven soldiers starting walking around Ponyville, earning them some weird looks in the process. They  walked through the Market Area, checked the Town Hall, and took pictures of the buildings with their cameras, Evan even took a picture of a cloud shaped like a castle.

They felt like they were on vacation because they were exploring something entirely new to them. To the team they felt like tourists, but the Ponies were starting to get uncomfortable with them.

“I think ve better ztart interacting vith them if ve’re going to feel welcome here.” Dimitri spoke to his guys quietly, the other agreed with him.

They saw a golden pony with a light brown mane reading a newspaper on the bench with carrots as her cutie mark.

“Let’s start with that one over there,” Chris said to the other guys while looking at the pony on the bench.

“Alright, I’ll introduce myself and then you guys go ahead.” Evan whispered.

Evan walked to the pony reading the newspaper and sat on the bench with her. She got out of her reading and turned to face him. She had an expression of fear.

“H-Hello?” she asked, fear evident in her voice.

“Good morning, how are you today?” Evan spoke.

She look at him a while before speaking “I-I’m g-good. T-Thank you.” she was starting to sweat. “W-Who…are y-you?” she stuttered.

“Evan Hizon, ma’am.” he replied to her in a nice tone.

“I-I’m C-Carrot Top.” She began to calm down.

“I have some friends I would like you to meet,” he told her, waving over his friends.

“There are more of you?!” she said out of panic.

“Don’t worry, they’re my buddy's. They know the situation,” Evan waved his hand to signal his guys.

The other six guys came over to her and started to greet themselves. They introduced their names and tried to sound as polite and calming as possible, trying everything to make sure this conversation went well. Unfortunately, Carrot Top ran off screaming, leaving the seven soldiers puzzled.

“Well that didn't go well” Evan said

“Maybe she doesn’t like us?” Chris suggested.

“I feel like we threw a spanner in the works mates.”

“Not good.” Takashi took a deep breath

“I feel like ah deadbeat y’all.”

“Zhis sucks.”

“Darn…” Daemon whispered.

Evan took a deep breath before speaking again.

“Let’s keep walking. Maybe we can learn from our mistakes along the way.”

They all nodded and resumed walking around the village.

Ponyville, 8:15

“I wonder what caused her to run away,” asked Evan.

“Maybe zhe’s never zeen anything like uz?” Dimitri suggested.

”Obviously,” Chris said, a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

“Maybe she felt like we’re ganging up on ‘er.” Samuel stated, which made everybody stop in their tracks.

“She might have felt dodgy when we all came to her. She felt like she was about to get gutted.  To be honest, if some unknown creatures were ganging up me, I run like a tosser,” Samuel continued.

“So what you’re saying is that she felt scared that we are ganging up on her like a bunch of predators?” Evan asked him.

“That might be it mate.”

“Oh dear” Evan groaned.

It’s already bad enough that they made a pony ran away, and finding Twilight in a village they're not familiar made it worse.

Luckily Daemon came with a pretty good idea “I have an idea, why don’t we split up? We each can explore Ponyville that way they don’t feel like we’re ganging up on them” Daemon suggested.

“That’s sounds a like a good idea—not sure if it will work though...” Evan said.

“It will work alright. We can also search for Twilight! It’ll be like killing two birds with one stone.”

They all nodded and agreed with his idea.

“Alright then, Everybody fall in,” Evan commanded.

The soldiers huddled to together.

“Chris and Daemon, take the east side of the village. Samuel, take the south side. Takashi, take the north west of the village”

“Ale-“Evan was interrupted

“I’ll check the farm y’all. Mighty fine barn over there.” Alejandro said, looking at Sweet Apple Acres.

“I’ll ze check zhat bakery over zhere. Eet looks interesting Captain” Dimitri said looking at Sugar Cube Corner.

“Alright then, I think we should get with on it,” Evan commanded, “But remember, our mission still stands. Do I make myself clear?”

He was met with six soldiers saying “Yes sir” to him.

“Check your radios, make sure we keep in contact.” They all nodded as they headed off to their destinations.

Evan started walking north of Ponyville; he greeted a pony that was passing by him.

“Good morning, how are you doing today?” Evan spoke in his casual tone.

“I’m…good, thank you,” the pony nervously said.

He kept talking to ponies around the area hoping they would warm up to him.

“How are you doing today?” he asked one of the ponies who were walking by him.

“Good, thank you” she said to him.

“Have you seen Twilight?” he asked the pony.

“Sorry, I haven’t seen her,” the pony said to him.

“I wonder how my other guys are doing?” Evan kept walking around Ponyville.

East side of Ponyville

Chris and Daemon were walking along the northeast side of Ponyville. They were trying to interact with the other ponies in the area. Their challenge was to associate with many of Celestia's loyal subjects as they can.

“Good morning” Chris said to the pony who walked by.

“Good morning…to you too,” one of the ponies said.

“Wonderful weather we’re having today.”

“Yeah…it’s pretty sunny today,” the pony said to him.

The two soldiers kept walking around till they decided to try the park. When they arrived there,

they saw a butter-cream colored Pegasus tending to the animals in the park.

“Hi there” Chris said to the Pegasus.

“Eep!” The pegasus jumped about ten feet in the air, and started to scurry off.

“Wait!” shouted Chris.

Fluttershy stopped, and turned around.

“I’m just saying hello. I’m not here to hurt you.”

“W-Who are y-you?” Fluttershy asked him, shaking violently.

“I’m Chris, and this is Daemon,” he said, gesturing to Daemon.

“What is your name ma’am?” Chris asked her.

“Fluttershy...” she said quietly.

“I'm Sorry, I couldn’t hear that, could you speak up?”

“Fluttershy...” she said again.

“Nice name. What are you doing?” Chris asked her.

“I am tending to the animals in the park,” she replied.

“Do you like animals?” Chris asked her, hoping to calm her down.

“Yes I do. Do you like them?” she asked him.

“Yeah, I like them” he held out his hand as the bird leap onto his finger.

“Oh wow. How did you do that?” she asked him.

“Practice, lots of practice” Chris said to her.

Meanwhile Daemon was sitting on the park bench having the wind blow through his white hair. He was watching Chris interacting with Fluttershy.

Chris was showing her new tricks on the animals, and Fluttershy was singing to the animals in a melodic voice. Chris decided to pet her mane, which she surprisingly enjoyed it. They both laughed at each other and soon enjoyed others company even though they were different species.

“Those two are getting along pretty well,” Daemon said to them.

“Watch out!”

“Huh?” Daemon dumbly spoke as he turned around.

A gray-coated pegasus crashed into him sending him ten feet forward into the grassy field.

“I’m sorry, I just don’t know what went wrong,” she said, scrambling to find her dropped mail in the middle of the field

“Something definitely went wrong. Who are you?” Daemon helped the grey Pegasus up.

“My name is Derpy Hooves” she said proudly.

South side of Ponyville

Samuel was walking through the south part of Ponyville, interacting with other ponies along the way. Most of the building here, were restaurants, stores, and offices, it was the busiest section in Ponyville.

“‘ello there ladies,” Samuel spoke in his native voice.

“Um…hello there” one of them said.

“He’s got a Trottingham accent,” one of the ponies whispered to the other pony.

“Yeah, but he looks weird though,” the other one replied.

Samuel kept walking till he saw a pure white unicorn with a very well kept purple mane sitting outside of a cafe. She was enjoying herself a cup of tea and an pastry. He’s never seen a pony who looked very beautiful. He seen other horses and ponies back in England, but this one was first class to him.

“Don’t be a tosser Samuel,” he muttered to himself, walking over to the pure white unicorn pony.

He straightened his blond hair and his white Dun Hill jacket.

.

Samuel kept walking till he was two feet away from her.

“‘ello there, beautiful,” he said cheerily.

Rarity’s ears perked up as she heard an accent that similar to hers. She opened her eyes and turned to the direction where the voice was coming from. She saw the being walking towards her.

“Why hello there darling. I have not seen anything like you before. What kind of species are you?” she asked him, smiling back.

“I am a human. My name is Samuel San Nicolas,” he said formally, hoping to ease the tension.

Rarity looked at him for a while before speaking

“Well…it’s a fancy meeting you Samuel. I am Rarity. Owner of Carousel Boutique, and Ponyville’s finest dressmaker.” she said  proudly.

“Your mane is very beautiful ma’am.” he complemented her purple mane.

Rarity blushed at his comment.“Why…thank you I work really hard to keep my mane looking as perfect as I am.”

North West of Ponyville

Takashi was walking down south of Ponyville. There were tall buildings that reached  impressive heights, a purple bridge crossing over a river, and several lampposts laid in a line to lighten the streets of Ponyville at night. He saw ponies talking with each other before hiding behind one of the lampposts.

“Remember, find Twilight and talk to ponies,” Takashi reminded himself.

He saw two ponies walking towards him unnoticed.

“My English is terrible, but I will do my best.”

He continued walking towards the ponies who are now looking at him

“Hallo, my name is Takashi Shakimaru.”

“Why hello there, are you okay?” one of the ponies asked.

“I am okay, good day today right?”

The two ponies started giggling because of his speaking.

“Yes, it’s a good day,” one of the ponies replied.

“I see you later, have a good day,” Takashi said as the ponies giggled while walking away.

“You too, funny one,” they said. “My filly can talk better than him,” one of them whispered.

Takashi kept walking around the village; he was asking the ponies where Twilight is.

“Hey you!” a rash voice erupted.

“Eh?” Takashi turned around to see an angry Cyan Pegasus giving him a death glare .

“Yeah you! Who are you?!” the cyan blue Pegasus shouted.

He looked at her with eyes the shaped of a disk.

“Well!? Answer Me!” she shouted even louder at him.

“My name is Takashi Shakimaru,” he said nervously to her.

“Alright Ta...ka...shi…Shaki...maru, Talk! What are trying to do?! Are you here to cause trouble?

Hmmm?” she interrogated him.

“I cause no trouble.” he said to her.

“Like I’m going to believe that- what-?” Rainbow stared at him, not only he’s weird but he talks weird. She began to smirk and narrowed her eyes.

“I’m sorry, can you say that again?” she asked him

“I cause no trouble, I talk to ponies,” he told her again. Her mouth began to form a smirk.

She kept asked him to repeat it before breaking into a huge laughter.

“Bwahahahahahahhahaahaha!” she laughed.

“What is funny? Takashi asked her in his native voice.

“Pffffffthahahhahahhahhhahahaha!” Rainbow laughed, she was holding her ribs cramping up from the hard laughing.

“What is wrong with you?” Takashi was getting annoyed with her laughing.

“The way you talk! It’s sounds so…weird! Rainbow blurted out while laughing. “A filly can talk 20 times better than you!” she insulted him.

“I am sorry, I do not speak well. Please forgive me.” Takashi bowed his head in sorrow.

Rainbow stopped laughing and saw Takashi bowing his head down at her. She never had anypony bowed down at her. She flew up to him and spoke.

“Hey, don’t worry about it, I met those kind of ponies! I’m Rainbow Dash! Fastest flier in all of Equestria!” she said to him.

“It is an honor to meet you,” Takashi greeted her in his Japanese greeting.

Rainbow looked at him before returning to her defensive expression.

“Don’t expect me to go soft on you! I still don’t know your kind so I’m still keeping an eye on you, Takashi” she said with malice in her voice.

Sugar Cube Corner, one of the highlights in Ponyville

Dimitri was walking towards the Sugar Cube Corner. It was in the center of a bunch of buildings in Ponyville. When he arrived at the building, he smelled the materials of the building which gave off a very sweet gingerbread smell that almost made his mouth water.

“Vhat a very interesting building,” he touched the materials with his hands

“I hope zhe inside iz just as good as ze outside...” He walked towards the door.

The bell on the door ranged as the door opened. Dimitri was shocked to see a wide assortment of pastries, cakes, treats, and other kinds of candy laid out across the shelves. He felt like he was sent back in time when he was a little boy in a candy store in Moscow.

“I feel like a kid again,” Dimitri said looking at the assortment of treats.

“I wonder who—“

“Hi there!”

‘Holy shoot!” Dimitri jumped back, immediately upholstering his MP443 Grach and pointing it at the mysteriously-appearing pony.

“Sorry-about-that-my-name’s-Pinkie-Pie-whats-your’s?” she said bouncing happily.

Dimitri looked at her and holstered his pistol before speaking

“Dimitri Trivorsky Rhet, ma’am.”

“Ooohhhh! What-a-long-name! And-cool-Stalliongrad-accent!” she said happily.

“Are you ze owner of zhis establishment?” he asked her.

“No I’m just the one who runs the store, and bakes treats. The Cakes run the store.” she replied, still as bouncy as ever.

“Did you zay bake? I love baking!” he replied.

“Really?” her eyes began expanding.

“My mom vorked at a bakery vhen I little boy. Now she owns restaurant in Moscow.”

“We should make a cake no, cookies no, cupcakes, oohhhhh, I can’t decide!” she said to him.

“Why don’t ve make a cake? My mom taught me vhen I was little boy.” he said to her.

“Oki-doki-loki!” she said happily as she pulled Dimitri into the kitchen.

Dimitri smiled to himself as he was dragged into the kitchen. He meet a pony who had the same interests as him.

Sweet Apple Acres

Alejandro was jogging along the dirt road to the farm making his face drip with sweat in the process. It was a long trail to the farm because it resided outside of Ponyville. Even though the trail was long, it didn't stop him from achieving his goal. He was very determine to see the farm  because he was a farm-boy back home. He kept jogging till he reached his destination.

“Sweet Apple Acres, what a fine name that is,” Alejandro said as he observed the farm sign.

He knew that trespassing on someone barn can lead to deadly consequences. It was something his dad told him when he was young. He walked along the fence looking at the apple trees

“The owner must be flushed if he or she were to own all these apple trees.” Alejandro looked across the fields.

“Can I help ya?” came from a southern voice.

Alejandro turned to his left to see an orange earth pony talking to him.

“Oh howdy ma’am, pardon mah appearance, this yer farm?” he asked her.

“Darn tootin, whadda ya’ll doing here? I ain’t never seen anypony like you before,” Applejack replied.

“Name’s Alejandro ma’am, and I gotta say you have one mighty fine orchard,” he said to her.

“Gosh, thank ya. We rarely get anypony here that complement our farm. I’m Applejack.” she said to him.

They both looked at each other before Alejandro broke the silence.

“So, what cha doing ma’am?” he asked her

“I was about to take these here apples to mah barn, Alejandro,” she replied.

“Mind if I’ll help out?” he asked her. “I used to be a farm boy back at my home”

“Okay…But I have to keep ah sharp-eye on ya mister. I hardly trust yah.” she said with a stern expression.

Ponyville, 9:00 am

After an hour of walking around in a circle Evan still couldn’t find Twilight, so he decided to try the library that was about twenty feet away from him. He walked up to the library and knocked on the door.

“Just a minute” said a young voice.

The door was opened revealing a baby dragon.

“Can I help you?” the dragon asked him.

He looked at him with surprise. He’d never saw a dragon in his life and there was one right in front of him.

“Hellloooooooo?” Spike snapped his fingers, breaking Evan’s trance.

“Sorry, I’m Evan Hizon, Captain of Delta Squad Six. I’m here to look for Twilight” he said to the dragon.

“Did you say my name?” the light purple unicorn trotted over to him.

Evan was shocked.

“Are you Twilight? As in Twilight Sparkle?” he asked her.

“Yes I am. Are you the beings Princess Celestia told me about?” she asked him.

“Yes, that would be me.”

“Well then, I’m Twilight Sparkle, Princess Celestia’s personal student” she said to him holding a hoof out.

“Evan Hizon, Captain of Delta Squad Six, its nice to meet you too” he said to her.

She looked at him a while before speaking again to him.

“Princess Celestia told me there were seven of you, where are the others?” she asked him.

“We split up to different parts of Ponyville to find you.”

“Oh no, that not good”

“Don’t worry I’m pretty sure they’re doing fine. I’ll just contact them.”

“With a scroll?” she asked.

“Nope, this,” Evan pulled out his radio.

“Whoa, what is that contraption?” she asked out of curiosity.

“This is a radio. Very useful for contacting my guys,” he explained.

“May I see?  It’s looks interesting,” she asked him.

He looked at her a while before answering.

“Go ahead,” he gave her the radio.

Twilight levitated the radio with her horn and began to inspect it; she was trying to touch the buttons with her hooves, she also looked into the screen, and played with the antenna.

“Very interesting, never seen anything like this, and you said that you can message other ponies with this?” she asked him as she gives him the radio back.

“Yes, I’ll show you” Evan dialed the buttons on the radio.

“All units, I have found Twilight, please meet me at the library,” Evan said over the radio.

The radio began to static with his teammates speaking.

“Roger that Evan. Chris and I are bringing two ponies wanting to meet you,” Daemon said.

“You got it mate. I’m bringing somebody with me to meet you,” Samuel said.

“Okay, I meet you at library. I have blue Pegasus wanting to meet you,” Takashi said.

“Alright pardner, I’m heading there now, I’m bringing somebody with me y’all,” Alejandro said.

“Yes Captain, me and ze Pinkie will head towards ze library—” Evan heard a high-pitched voice which he covered his right ear.

“Bringing along some cake for everypony!” Pinkie spoke

“Will you cut zhat out?!” Dimitri yelled over the Radio

As the two waited for the others, Evan realized he was still outside in front of the library.

“May I please come in? Evan asked her.

“Sure why not? Come on in,” she replied.

“Thanks” he said, walking inside.

“So is there anything interesting happening?” he asked as he turned to her.

“Tonight’s the Summer Sun Celebration,” she told him.

“Summer Sun Celebration?” he asked.

“It’s the day we all watch our Princess raise the sun. She told me to prepare everypony in Ponyville to see the celebration,” she told him.

“Interesting...” Evan replied.

The soldiers headed towards the library where Evan and Twilight were residing. They heard a knock on the door.

“I’ll get it” said Spike.

Spike open the door showing six ponies and six soldiers, they all walked in and began to settle in Twilight living room which is the library, luckily her living room was big enough to hold all five-teen of them comfortably.

They started to introduce themselves to each of the ponies, and the ponies ntroduced themselves to the soldiers.

12:00, it was lunchtime. The sun was completely vertical in the light blue sky. Everybody was getting hungry so they left her their backpacks at her house so they don't have to hold on to it for so long. Twilight locked the door with her magic and joined them as they walked around Ponyville to find a restaurant to have lunch.

“I didn’t know Ponyville had restaurants,” Evan said in amusement.

“Uh, yeah? What are you, dumb?” she replied.

“He just asking, Rainbow,” Takashi said to him.

“What is that you’re holding mate?” Samuel asked Dimitri who was carrying a white box by the handle.

“Something zhat me and Pinkie made,” he replied.

After minutes of searching, they found a restaurant that was not as busy as the others or found the soldiers uncomfortable, it was called "Clover Cafe". The cafe was something you would see in Old Wades, except it had green and tan wooden structure and the mushroom were used as tables. They all sat in one big table. The ponies had no problems sitting down, but the soldiers had sit on the hay which surprisingly was able to hold their weight.

The waiter handed the the ponies a menu but not the soldiers. Don't worry they understand, so they each paired up with a pony and shared the menu. The menu consisted of fruits, vegetables and hay...

“Weird,” Chris said looking at the menu.

“This is like going to a restaurant in a new country,” Evan said.

“Read the descriptions, get whatever sounds good. That what I do,” Daemon told them.

They saw the ponies ordering like they know what they want.

“How do they know what to order?” Takashi asked the other guys.

“Maybe because they're used to it?” Dimitri replied with a sarcasm tone.

“Are you guys ready to order?” the waiter asked them.

The ponies and Spike ordered their favorites and the soldiers ordered whatever sounded good. They hoped their decision wasn’t a bad one.

“I will be right back with your order” the waiter told them.

Once the waiter left the table, they all started to interact with each other again, telling them their race, interests, childhood. They even told funny stories from their experiences from each other, which made the ponies laughed, especially Pinkie.

“And zhat’s vhen ve caught Evan dancing in his room,” Dimitri spoke, making the ponies laugh even harder.

“I told you, those kinds of songs makes me dance!” Evan said, covering his face from embarrassment with his hands.

Rainbow flew up to Evan, “Phff, really Evan? You dance like that?”

“Do you ladies have a currency?” Samuel asked them.

“Yes. We use bits,” Rarity replied

“Bits? Would you care to explain?” Samuel asked her.

“Certainly darling, Bits are Equestria’s currency. They are used to buy things. Do you use bits?”

“We use dollars, coins, and plastic cards,” Chris took out his wallet and showed the contents, which consisted of a five dollar bill, a penny, two dimes, a quarter, and a VISA card.

“You can’t buy things in Equestria with that,” Twilight said to him.

“Oh shoot. Maybe we shouldn't have ordered,” Evan said in a sad tone.

“Don’t worry, it'll be our treat” she replied.

The waiter came back with a cart full of food . Making the ponies and Spike’s mouth water but making the soldiers anxious to see what they ordered.

The ponies ate their favorites which was a daffodile sandwiches, hay fries, H.L.Ts and smoothies.

The soldier had the same thing which was Ponyville Pies, tomato and hay soup, and sandwiches. They looked at the food and wondered if they should eat it.

“Are you guys going to eat?” Twilight said to them

“Yeah we’re going too, it’s just that we can’t digest certain foods, like hay, dandilions, and alfalfa.” Evan told her.

They saw the ponies enjoying their food, it would be impolite not to eat along. So they decided to bite the bullet and give it a try. Takashi was the first to taste his tomato and hay soup, he dipped the spoon into soup and tasted it.

“This is good. Like what we make back at base.” Takashi complemented.

Evan and Dimitri tried their H.L.T it was not bad, but not good because of the hay.

“Pretty good.” Evan ate his sandwich

“Not bad.” Dimitri ate his sandwich too.

Samuel tried his fruit tart.“Blimey! Thats good!”

Alejandro tasted his Ponyville Pie. “That’s some good cooking ya’ll!”

Chris and Daemon decided to try the hay fries because all of the soldiers were enjoying it. They both took a piece of hay and dipped it in ketchup.

“Here we go,” Chris was looking at the ketchup dipped hay.

“After you,” Daemon spoke.

They both ate they their fried hay dipped in ketchup, it was like french fries they had back in Nevada.

“It takes likes Burger King fries!” Chris stated.

“Yeah! It just needs a burger to finish it,” Daemon stated.

The soldiers were almost done eating their food. It wasn’t like the one they had back in the castle though, they had an assortment of fish, chicken, and meat.

After lunch was done, Dimitri and Pinkie grinned at each other.

“Dimitri and I made a cake for you guys to eat!” Pinkie said with excitement as she opened the box.

“Help yourselves my friends.” Dimitri was cutting everyone a slice.

They complemented Pinkie and Dimitri about their cake. The ponies soon began to warm up to the seven guys.

As the day passed by, the soldiers we’re getting familiar with the town and the spots around Ponyville. Some ponies were starting to get used to the newcomers, some remained to be timid because they never seen such creatures.

The day was going well. However, something is coming, and it will cause havoc that will change the balance of Equestria.
