Thrackerzod
A clue
Load Full StoryThrackerzod walked through town, trying to find Scootaloo. The white unicorn would follow the crowd, so she was considered normal by Ponyville standards. As she wandered in search of her friend, Twilight galloped up to her.
"Hey Thrackerzod, have you seen Taz? Because you and me are the most sane ponys in town, I trust you the most, so I asked you." The purple unicorn seemed concentrated on finding the demon that escaped her attic.
Thrackerzod responded after a few seconds of pause, a hint of nervousness in her voice. "As a normal magical unicorn, I would like a normal explanation, in detail, of why you are still looking for Taz."
"I don't want a demon that's half rat, half cricket with the face of a pony wandering around Equestria. Plus Celestia would kill me if she found out." Then she went into deeper thought. "Why did you ask that in the first place?"
"It seems irrelevant to search for over a month for Taz."
"Well... I was going to stop, but I don't want to face Celestia..."
"No. I have not seen Taz. I think you should search your attic."
"But I already checked the attic." Twi complained.
"Check again." Thrackerzod responded, as if she knew something Twilight didn't. The lavender unicorn walked off, and glanced back to see the unicorn filly had disappeared.
Twilight carefully walked through her attic. She lit the room with her horn, and scanned for anything suspicious or out of place. Suddenly, a figure moved in the shadows.
POOF
"What the-" Twilight stopped when she noticed a piece of paper. But it was glowing blue. She carefully levitated it over and read the note out loud.
"Dear Twilight, I have always been around you, and no pony ever grew suspicious. I have used different languages that are not from this world from time to time, and still live secretly. If you were smart enough, you would have already figured out who I am disguised as, but alas, you are just a stupid pony. I will not reveal myself to you, you must find out. Taz." The purple unicorn went downstairs and told Spike about the paper, the showed it to him. "It makes no sense. But anyways, I will be trying to solve this."
"Atca encatin tacoo" said a voice. It came from nowhere in particular but right then a white unicorn silhouette appeared, with the shadow of Taz.
The paper started glowing again and Twilight read it aloud.
"'That was your first and only clue that will be pointed out. The rest is up to you.' Well, I'd better start looking."
