When I woke up, everything was different. The walls of the shop were huge and they towered over me. I looked around. I could only see the legs of a table I was near, and the ceiling fan seemed to be millions of miles in the sky. Either my room had grown huge, or I had shrunk. "Not good, Mr. Whiskers, not good..." I began searching the room for my beloved pet, but instead found a large stallion looming overhead. In fact, he looked familiar--a little too familiar. "Mr. Whiskers? What? No. That couldn't have happened, he didn't even drink the potion..."
"S-s-Saydee? I-I-- the room is huge! I've never seen over that table or anything! And, um, why are you a, uh, b-bunny?"
"I don't what you're-" I looked down at where my hooves should have been. In their place were small paws."AAAAAAH!"
I looked up again at Mr. Whiskers. To my surprise, he had actually grown into quite an attractive pony. He had dark red fur, light gray eyes, and his darker red-black tipped mane was flipper to one side of his head.
"Well, what do we do now?" I asked him.
"I don't know. Maybe that bookworm named Twilight Sparkle can help us with one of her books."
"Woah, uh nice idea. I couldn't have thought of that myself..." I said, looking up at the stallion with a sense of awe in my eyes.
"To the library it is then. Of course, I should probably hitch a ride on your back, but, um, I don't know how to get up.."
The pony scooped me up in his hooves and placed me on his head.
"Well then, that about settles it."
"Um, Mr. Whiskers, I doubt you know the way to Twilight's. I can be your EPS if you want.
"Fine. Let's go."
After that, we were well on our way.
"Here you go, Frosty Dew. It's your pre-order of the plant growth potion all in a nice little bag!" said I as I handed the bag to the light-gray unicorn.
"Why, thank you kindly Saydee!" Frosty Dew exclaimed as she trotted out the door with it.
" Such nice visitors. Hey, Mr. Whiskers, did you check the mail today?" The aloof bunny did nothing but shrug. "Well then, I'll take that as a no." I walked up to the mailbox in front of my shop. "Hmmm. Mmm hmm, okay, I guess I'll take this back in now."
I placed the pile of letters and magazines on the the countertop when I got back inside. Mr. Whiskers began fishing through the un-orderly stack for interesting letters. ''Mr. Whiskers! How many times have I told you not to snoop around in things that you can't even understand?" I scolded. Just then, Mr. Whiskers pulled out a very familiar looking letter."Hey! It's from Cloudstomper, my old best friend!" I opened the letter.
Dearest Saydee,
I am testing out a new potion. A potion for curing boredom lickedy-split! Here is the recipe:
3 spoons of cinnamon
2 spoons of sugar
5 hairs of a bunny
1 droplet from a cloud
Green potion broth
"Well, Mr. Whiskers, if it's boredom it will bust, to try it is a must!" The bunny gave me a look that seemed to say,"If you keep up with your horrible rhyming skills, I will personally escort you to death."
I eventually mixed up all of the right ingredients, and POOF! The potion was complete.
"Best take a sip before I take the rest of it," I stated as I levitates it with magic. Mr. Whiskers accidentally bumped into me and I spilled the entire thing into my mouth. The next thing I knew was that I was passed out cold on the floor.
