Note: this part of the story has been cancelled. After some thought, I decided to replot, rewrite, and condense this little story. Both Paved With Good Intentions and Along the Road to Chaos will be out of date as soon as I finish the rewrite. From now on, all chapters will be on A Touch of Chaos.

With Celestia missing and Chrysalis and her changeling army holding Canterlot, Equestria's destruction is all but inevitable. As a country slides towards ruin, only the inhabitants living in it can decide its fate. Peace is something for everyone to grasp.

Several youngsters seek out the Lunar Princess, who is held against her will within the changeling hive itself.

Six battle-wounded heroes, along with another traveling companion, travel to the capitol in order to retrieve the Elements of Harmony.

A group of changelings hunt the Bearers of the Elements, wishing to stop them from obtaining the mystical artifacts.

And within Canterlot's walls, the Queen of the changelings struggles to keep the country from crumbling beneath her hooves.

All the while, the spirit of chaos watches, waits, and schemes. He knows his time is coming.
