Ponies used to figure out who is better and more skilled through iron pony competitions, but now things are more civilized. With the development of rifles, it's all about hunting game. Most of which are timberwolves, manticores, cockatrices, hydra's and the notorious changelings. There are many ponies who went on these hunting trips, but many who have died. Many hunters take caution to the risks. However, hunting has been around for a while and there is a new threat that pony kind would have never expected.
