Pegasi Love

Fluttershy,Twilight,Applejack,and even Rarity had came to see Rainbow Dash try to beat one of the fastest athletes in The Wonderbolts team;Spitfire.

"Come on Rainbow Dash,you can do this.Come on!" Rainbow Dash said psyching herself up for the upcoming race.

"Well,you ready for the race yet,champ." said Spitfire walking into the locker room,with Rainbow Dash,

"Ready to beat you!"

"Be careful what ya wish for.Kid."

"Whatever,I'm gonna past right by you!" she said staring at Spitfire with a competitive look in her eyes.

"Ok but-"

Spitfire was interrupted by the announcer.

"STALLIONS AND MARES FROM ALL OVER EQUESTRIA! I BRING YOU ONE OF THE BEST POSSIBLE MATCHUPS IN EQUESTRIAN HISTORY! FIRST UP RAINBOW DASH!"

"Showtime," Rainbow Dash said leaving the locker

room.

"Go Dashie!" said a very energetic Pinkie Pie,as she threw up Pom-Poms that were in each of her hooves.

"Go Rainbow Dash," Twilight said just as excited about the race.

"Go Rainbow Dash,go."cheered Rarity as she looked up.

"Oh my,everypony must be here," said a very shy Fluttershy,especially at these types of events.

She was afraid that Rainbow Dash would get hurt.She knew that Rainbow Dash had surgery on one of her wings a week before this race.

She hid inside of the bleachers,she could see just as clear.

"ALRIGHT,NEXT UP.SPITFIRE!" The announcer shouted once more.

The whole crowd cheered Spitfire on.

"Ready to get beaten?"Rainbow Dash said,walking up to the start line with her opponent.

"Are you?"

"GO!"

Rainbow Dash took off ,this caught Spitfire off guard.

"LOOKS LIKE SPITFIRE WAS STUNNED BY RAINBOW DASH'S SPEED! WOW!"

The announcer said once more.

"Didn't know I was so fast.Huh,Spitfire?"

"How fast is this?" Spitfire asked just before speeding ahead of the unsuspecting pegasus.

"Hey-No fair!"

"I'm gonna win Rainbow!"

The two were about a yard away from the finish line when Rainbow Dash was not paying attention and ran into a checkpoint flag post.

"Oh my sweet Celestia! Rainbow Dash!"Fluttershy said running as fast as she could to her friend.

"OH,THAT'S GONNA LEAVE A MARK!"

"Oh my-Somepony get help!"Spitfire said shouting as she flew down to Rainbow Dash.

"RAINBOW DASH! Speak to me! Rainbow Dash?" Fluttershy yelled,as she notice blood coming out of one of her friends eyes,and she noticed that the injuries made Rainbow Dash unconscious.

Twilight,Rarity, and Applejack,had never seen there friend so distraught.

"Fluttershy the medics are on there way." Twilight said trying to comfort Fluttershy.

"Stop.Who has been injured?" ask a unicorn medic,

"Over here!" Spitfire said directing them to the mare.

"Oh man.We need to get her to the hospital,quick!" the other medic said going to get a stretcher.

The injuries inflicted on Rainbow Dash were horrific,

Broken jawbone (still able to talk,though)

Broken wing (Right wing)

Broken hooves (Left;Back)(Right;Front)

Temporary Arthritis (in the chest and neck area)

Fractured hoof (Left;Front)

Fractured skull

Broken Ribcage

And she is temporarily blind in one eye

Rainbow Dash was in a coma for two whole days.

Fluttershy stayed there all through those days,by her side.She was extremely distraught, she barely slept or ate anything.

"Uhhh...Who's there?" Rainbow Dash said finally waking up from her coma,

"It's Fluttershy,I am so glad you are awake,"

"Thanks...Ow! my wing!" Rainbow Dash said trying to move it,

"Stop,the doctor said to take it easy for a couple days." Fluttershy said laying Rainbow Dash back down,warmly smiling.

"Oh,who won the race?"

"Spitfire didn't finish the race she was worried about you."

"Where is she?" Rainbow Dash said surprised at the news,

"Hey Spitfire,she's awake!" Fluttershy quietly yelled across the room,

"Oh hey Rainbow Dash.I am so glad to see you in good shape." she said giving the mare a playful nudge to the shoulder.

"Thank you."

"Don't thank me thank her,"Spitfire said pointing a hoof to Fluttershy.

"As soon as she saw you fall she was there right there by your side.She has been here ever since."

Fluttershy was both flattered and embarrassed

"Thanks Fluttershy."

"Rainbow Dash how are you feeling today?" said Nurse Redheart walking in on the conversation.

"Oh,um.Good,I guess?"

"Fluttershy,honey.Go home and get some rest.Rainbow Dash is ok now."

"Oh,alright.See you later," Fluttershy said leaving the room.

Fluttershy got home but she felt empty,for some reason.

"Why couldn't you say it?" Fluttershy said entering her cottage.

" 'I love you' not hard to say,uuugghh,"

Her pet rabbit,and sat down next to her,wanting to play.

"Not now,Angel.Momma's not feeling well."

Angel hopped off the couch.Fluttershy went to her bed.

"Alright tomorrow,that's when you'll tell her.Wait what if she doesn't like me,though.Oh she just likes me as a friend."

Fluttershy dozed off, not knowing what was about to happen.

"Hey Fluttershy,you in here?!" a purple mare said letting herself in,

"Hmm,wha-"

Fluttershy murmured as she woke up,

"Fluttershy,hey wake up I have exciting news!" Twilight said walking into Fluttershy's room,she was too excited.

"What n-n-news." Fluttershy was sitting up now,looking at the unicorn,

"Something has happened to Rainbow Dash her!"

Fluttershy's eyes shot open,she got up as quickly as she could

"What happened to her,Twilight!" Fluttershy said,extremely worried about her friend.

"She had a heart attack,"

"Oh no.Is she gonna be ok?"

"The doctor doesn't know if she will make it through the night."

"We have to go,NOW!" Fluttershy said flying frantically out the door.

Fluttershy's were in agony,from flying so fast and for so long.She didn't care she had to get to the pony hospital,to tell Rainbow Dash her secret before she might die.

"WHERE IS SHE!" Fluttershy said storming into the hospital,

"Oh my,dear.She is right over here." Rarity said poking her head out of a operation room,

Fluttershy trotted over to that room,looking inside and seeing her friends behind a pane of glass.Watching the doctors operate on Rainbow Dash.

"When did it happen?"

"Well the doc said last night,strangely after ya' left." Applejack said bringing her distraught friend into a hug.

"B-B-ut she will make it,right?"

"We can be for certain yet."

Fluttershy thought to herself,

"If you would of just stayed and told her how you felt,she might of not had a heart attack."

How was she ever going to forgive herself.
