My eyes flutter open to light creeping in from the curtains. The bed I am in is warm and some pony is snuggling me. I turn over ever so quietly and gently. I push the shiny blonde hair away from her gorgeous face. I notice that her eyes are closed and she is still sleeping. I gently kiss her cheek
."Huh..." She says sleepily
"Ssh it’s ok it's just me Rainbow." I explain.
She opens her eyes slowly and focuses on me she pulls me into her and we kiss for a second.
"That was amazing last night Rainbow" she exclaims with a happy sigh.
"I know." I say she sits up in the bed and looks over to the rainbow clock on the wall. I gave her that a few days ago when we went to the crystal empire she loves that clock.
"Oh my apples I am going to be late" she cries.
She runs over to the coat hanger in the corner of her room at Apple Acres. I was used to the farm by now I still went back to my home in the sky were all the other pegasus ponies are but since the first night we spent together I had been staying here with Applejack.
"Oh sorry about that you looked so peaceful whilst sleeping I thought it was best not to disturb you." I reason with her.
She comes over to my side of the bed and gives me a long lasting kiss. I grab onto her shoulders and pull her onto me I roll over her and stand over her body. I start kissing her. I push my tongue into her mouth and there we stay in a moment of heat lust and love.
"Mm" she says with delight.
She rolls over me then starts kissing me more she even bites playfully at my neck I squeal in delight.
"Oh sugar lumps I wish we could continue this but I better go and you better start training.
She hops off me and walks to the door I watch her as she goes she looks back and blows me a kiss.
“See you later sugar Lumps." She says in a sweet voice.
"See you later." I say with a cheeky grin.
She leaves the room and leaves the door slightly a jar. Those moments I love when we forget about the world and just dive into each other I know there will be tonight but still..."No time to waste!!" I scold myself.
I hop out of bed and go over to the clock 9:00a.m. I wonder over to the bedside table on my side and look at the photo sitting there. It is one of me blushing and Applejack so happy in front of an apple tree on a beautiful sunny day... I remember that day it was the day I asked her out she said yes and was jumping up and down. I had gotten Twilight to take the photo as she came with me to support me. I remember that night as well. I go over to Applejack's side of the table and see the photo of that night it is one of me and her kissing on the back of a hay bale ride at her farm. That night was the best we had. We already had a strong connection already and after that it was even stronger. I wonder down the stairs and into the kitchen. No one was in sight.
"They must be already doing the farm work" I told myself.
I grab an apple and sit at the table as I look at the apple I wonder what me and Applejacks future has in store for us.
"One can only wonder..." I said to myself.
I take one bite of the apple and think about having foals... It is meant to not be able to happen but ... Every pony seems to be able to now because princess Celestia allowed it to be possible from a year ago.

I remember all of the female ponies in Equestria gathering at the castle.
"Since many ponies have female partners and want children of their own I grant this... all females will be able to have foals with other female ponies from this spell onwards" exclaimed Princess Celestia.
Her horn glowed with magic and then the air filled with sparkles.
"Hooray!!" Everyone cheered

After that many foals were born from female ponies with female partners so we knew it had worked. I and Applejack haven't really discussed kids yet so I wouldn't have a clue if she would even want kids. After finishing my apple I threw the core out from the window to the pigs in their pig sty. I decided to visit Flutter shy and train together hopefully today would be better than yesterday. As I walked to Flutter shy’s house I saw Rarity and waved. I walked up to her.
"Oh hey Rainbow what's going on?" she asks.
"Nothing much but late nights" I say whilst blushing.
"Oh I see how is Applejack?" she asks
"Good she is fine how are you and Pinkie Pie?" I ask
"What do you mean nothing at all is going on with me and Pinkie Pie." she asks with a puzzled look on her face
"Oh never mind then well I will see you later I have to get to Flutter shy’s place." I say
"Ok well I will see you later" she says as she walks off.
"Yeh" I say.
I walk past all the shops and keep on going. Finally I reach her cottage and knock on the door. I hear noises inside and decide better not ask. Flutter shy and Twilight just started dating after I had seen them looking at each other and wanting each other so badly.
Fluttershy answers the door blushing.
"Is this a bad time?" I ask
"Oh no it's just that..." She says but doesn't finish.
"Hey Flutter shy we haven't finished what we started yet...” A playful voice I recognize as Twilight's calls out.
Flutter shy’s cheeks turn even redder.
"I think I will start warming up whilst you finish off what you were doing in there" I offer.
"Oh thank you thank you that will be really good." She answers
"Ok well have fun but not too much fun" I say and wink
"I will try" she says with a cheeky grin as she shuts the door.
As I turn around I hear squealing coming from inside and very suggestive comments. I try to ignore them and continue to walk down to the little forest part of Flutter shy’s place. I decide to warm my wings up and get ready. After 10 minutes I see Fluttershy Hurrying down to where I am.
"Sorry about that." She says
"Oh that’s ok, let’s start" I exclaim.
I start to flap my wings but I get that feeling in the pit of my stomach again and see black dots.
"Rainbow!!" someone yells.
Then I blacked out.

I wake up in Flutter shy’s cottage.
"Oh no oh no oh no...." someone chants.
I sit up groggily and see Fluttershy (who must have been the one chanting) in front of me.
"Are you ok??" She asks in tears of relief.
"Yeh." I answerd as I attempt to get up.
"Let me help you" she offers.
I nod my head we walk over to the couch and I sit down.
"What is going on Rainbow you can tell me" she asks
"Well for the past 2 weeks whenever I try to fly I have this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach I am not sure what I should do about it... What do you think?" I ask
"This doesn't sound good... I know lets go see Nurse Red Heart!" she offers
"Ok" I say feeling defeated.
As we walk to the hospital Fluttershy asks “Have you had any other symptoms."
"Not that I can think of" I sa
y"Oh well are you hungry it is around lunchtime?" she asks
"Not really I haven't been able to keep big meals down for a while I guess you could count that as another symptom." I explain
"How peculiar." she says with a distant look on her face.
"What?" I ask.
"Nothing let’s keep going, wait, does Applejack know about this??" she asks.
"No..." I say quietly
"Why doesn't she know??" she says loudly. So loudly that other ponies look at us weirdly.
"Ssh I say she just thinks that it is because of the training and that my muscles are sore that is what is probably wrong with me" I explain
"Ok" she says.
We arrive at the hospital and Fluttershy asks "May we see Nurse Red Heart."
The service lady says"she will be right with you."
We sit down for a few minutes.
"Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy this way please" Says A voiceI turn around and see Nurse Red Heart motioning for us to follow.
We walk down corridors to a certain room and enter that room.
"Thanks for taking the time Nurse Red Heart to see Rainbow." Fluttershy says.
"Not a problem, so what seems to be the problem?" Nurse Red Heart replies.
"I have been experiencing trouble with flying and eating. When I have tried to fly for the past few weeks there has been a horrible pain in the pit of my stomach. With the eating problem I can't keep big amounts of food down." I explain
"Hmm, I think I will take an ultrasound of that area to see what is going on first though I will use this stethoscope an investigate your heart to make sure everything is proper." She replies.
"Ok" I say Nurse Red heart motions for me to sit on the bed so I do.
"Keep your breathing nice and steady." she explains
I do as she says. She puts the stethoscope on my heart. For a few moments nothing but silence fills the room.
"How interesting... Ok let’s do the ultrasound so I will need you to lie down.
"Ok" I say with a hint of worrying.
I lie down on the bed and Fluttershy sings a song to comfort me and stop me worrying. The nurse then comes back and starts the ultrasound.

A few minutes later

"Oh my..." She says with a look of interest on her face.
"What is wrong Nurse Red Heart?" Says Fluttershy
"Give me a moment I need to ask the doctor to confirm my suspicions." She says whilst hurrying off.
"It’s ok Rainbow it couldn’t be something horribly bad I hope...” she says quietly.
I nod because I am worried if I Talk tears will streak down my face I don’t want to have a serious disease. What If this disease that I might have won't let me fly and be a part of the wonderbolts again. The Nurse comes back in the room and hands me a photo and has a pure look of joy on her face. I look at the photo but all I can see is black and grey.
"What am I meant to be seeing?" I ask.
She looks shocked but answers" Well Rainbow Your Pregnant"

“Oh so that is what I was meant to be seeing” I said not quite sure
“Rainbow I am surprised that you aren’t shocked by this. I mean what about your career. Isn’t your next performance soon? You are a wonder bolt.” Flutter shy says anxiously
“I will tell you later. In the meantime Nurse Red Heart I know you are shocked at my reaction as well but I would like to know if this will cost me anything or not.” I ask with a smug smile.
“Oh um of course we will send the bill to your manager. Well uh have a nice day then Rainbow Dash.” Nurse Red Heart says with pure shock.
“You too let’s go flutter shy.” I say whilst leaving the room.
“Oh yes right away. Thanks Nurse Red Heart for your time.” flutter shy says with a look of worry.
“No problem. I will see you later.” Nurse Red Heart says.
Walking through the corridor to the reception neither of us says a word. We walk to the reception and I say “The cost of this checkup will be covered by my Manager.”
“Ok then That will be sent to your manager. Have a nice day. Oh wait did you want to book an ultrasound at 3 months?” The reception asks with a smile on my face.
Flutter shy goes to say something but I butt in and say “That won’t be necessary but if it is I will be sure to call the hospital to book one in.”
“What are you doing Rainbow? Shouldn’t you get an ultrasound?” She whispers to me.
“I will tell you later.” I whisper with a look of urgency on my face.
“OK then you are all good to go. Have a wonderful day.” Says the reception Lady with a fake smile.
My first thought is to say stop fake smiling I can see right through the mask but instead I force a smile and say “You too.”
We both walk out of the reception room and out onto the path. The sun shining on my face I smile and flap my wings a bit.
Before we could even start walking down the path Flutter shy turns to me and asks with a pure look of concern on her face “Why won’t you book in an ultrasound you are pregnant for Ponies sake.”
With a look of are you serious I explain “Well for one thing we should get a pregnancy test kit first and use one of them what if she just saw something else. Even though it is possible to have a foal I still want to use one of them first.”
“Phew. You had me worried there for a second. I thought you were going to do this solo or even run away so people didn’t know you were pregnant.” She says with a look of relief on her face.
“Well I’m not so let’s go and get a kit.” I say.
On the way there I notice the trees around me and wonder what it would be like to have a foal. Even though I knew it was true I still wanted to make sure that it was true. I know I am in denial but if I am pregnant what about my career and I am not really a motherly person. I know I have Applejack but still.
“Where here.”Fluttershy says.
I swallow down a lump that was building in my throat this whole time from trying not to cry. “Ok let’s go in” I say.
We open the door and we hear a jingle from the bell hanging over the door. The whole building is full of products. The walls painted a greyish color. A pony stands at the desk waving us over.
“Hello how may I help you?” The old pony says.
“Oh well we would like to buy a pregnancy test kit.” I say. I can tell I am blushing.
“No need to be embarrassed dear it happens sometimes.” She says with a look of knowing on her face.
“Oh well, ok then how much will one cost?”
“10 bits darlings I will go and get a kit for you from the back.” She says.
We watch her walk to the back and we hear rustling.
A few seconds later we see her walking slowly back to the counter she says “so who is paying.”
“Here you go. It’s on me rainbow.” Fluttershy says.
“Thanks for your payment have a nice day.” The old pony says.
I grab the bag “Thanks Fluttershy.”
We walk out of the pharmacist and head to Flutter shy’s place whilst crossing the bridge Fluttershy asks me “What are you really afraid of Rainbow?”
“What??” I say with guilt on my face.
The whole way here to her cottage I had been worrying about what Applejack would say.
“I know your scared off something. What is it you can tell me you know?” She says with a gentle voice.
I sit down on the path and stay there.
10 minutes past and I finally answer her “Well what if Applejack doesn’t want a foal? What if she hates me from now on? What if I am not ready?”
“Well as you said before what if what the nurse said wasn’t right? Let’s go and find out.”
I nod my head and mutter to myself “It will be ok.”
We walk the final steps up to the cottage and enter. The cottage is full of animals but you can’t blame Flutter shy this was who she was born to be.

“Are you nervous Rainbow? Your hands have been shaking for 5 minutes how are you meant to tell if you are pregnant?” Fluttershy says with a sigh.
“Well. I don’t know. Okay I will settle down.” I promise.
I breathe in and out and place the cylinder test on the coffee table.
We sit there waiting… when will this damn thing show up. I pick up the test and Fluttershy gives me a reassuring look. I look at the little part of the test which will tell me if I am pregnant. There on the test is a pink cross.
“Fluttershy, it’s true I am pregnant.” I say with shock.
So it begins
“Oh Rainbow you’re going to be a mother” Flutter shy exclaims hovering up and down and clapping.
My stomach starts churning with worry and morning sickness. I rush to her bathroom and empty my stomach of the apple I ate this morning. Of course Flutter shy rushes into the bathroom to help hold my hair up and comfort me.
“Oh Rainbow why don’t you stay here for the night. It might be better for you.” Flutter shy says fussing over me.
I can’t think of being away from Applejack when I am carrying her foal but it might be for the best this way I have more time to think about the situation and how to break the news.
I sit on the porcelain floor and nod my head in defeat. I nearly burst into tears why me? Why did this happen to me? I’m not upset about having a foal but I wish I had more time to discuss the whole foal business with Applejack but we never got around to it.
“I will go tell Applejack. Twilight was meant to be coming over soon to help me with the animals but I guess I will have to cancel.” She says with a look of concern on her face.
“No, she can come I will admit to her she may be able to help me allow to eat more. I am going to need all the strength I can get for the next 11 months.” I say with worry of what the element of magic will think of me.
“Ok then come on let’s get you to the lounge.” She says helping me out to the couch.
I carry myself onto the couch and lay down on my side. Flutter shy rushes to the kitchen and yells out “I am making you some tomato soup. Then heading to Applejack’s.”
I hope I can keep it down and also that Applejack won’t worry that much about me. “Yes, thanks Flutter shy for everything.” I yell back out.
I reach out with my front hoof and touch my belly where the foal should be. I know I won’t be able to tell if she or he is there but I still look for any signs. I smile at myself despite all the worrying I have been doing I may have a big career and the paparazzi but I can’t believe that I of all ponies will be a mother. The thought excites me but worries me at the same time.
As I drift off to sleep I think about Applejack and how I will miss out on tonight which would have been amazing but my memories take me back to a time when we spent our first night together and I smile as I remember that night.

I was walking to where we were planning on having a picnic under the stars. As I neared the picnic I saw Applejack in the most amazing country dress looking up at the lanterns hanging from the tree. I looked at my own dress a cute number with rainbows and sparkles all over.
Rarity had gone all out for this date I remember telling her this is the night the night when we finally sleep together for the first time. I told her that it was going to be a surprise for Applejack. Of course upon hearing this she went all out on the outfits and the setting of the date. As I exited the place I remember her getting the outfits started and wishing me good luck.
I walk over to where Applejack is standing. “Hi Applejack your outfit is amazing.” I blush as I speak only the truth and check her out.
She blushes a bright red and does a little twirl.” Ah can say the same for you Rainbow you look amazing.” She says whilst looking me up and down.
I can feel my cheeks turning red and of course I do a little twirl as well. “Well then, now that the pleasantries are out of the way shall we start with the appetizers?” I ask, sitting down on the beautiful cloud themed blanket.
She comes over and sits down on the picnic blanket. “What ah the appetizers going to be?” She asks with a look of curiosity on her face.
I look her directly in the eye and say with a smile “Apple slices, made directly from Apple Acres freshest apples”
She smiles and whilst licking her lips she says “Wow this sounds amazing and yummy.”
I take the two plates and two knives and two forks out of the basket and take the delicately made apple slices that Rarity took so long making out of their containers and place them on the plates. I grab two wine glasses and pour some apple cider into each
“Did Rarity make these they seem organized don’t they?” She says looking in amazement at the apple slices on the plates.
“Yeah well let’s stop looking at our food and eat” I say as I begin digging in with the knife and fork.
We sit there eating for a few minutes in peaceful silence. I finish my meal and notice that Applejack finished before me. She gives me a sheepish grin as she takes a sip of the apple cider
“Well that was yummy are you ready for the main meal?” I ask before taking a sip of my cider.
“Oh yes I am I can’t wait to see what is next after the appetizers they were yummy” She says with an emphasis on the yummy.
I grab the next meal out and place the Apple soup, something my Mum invented, on the plate. As I look up I see Applejack staring at me.
“What is wrong?” I asked.
“Rainbow I have to go.” She says standing up.
My mind starts racing this wasn’t the memory, what is going on?

I am to busy to write the date, I have too much news to spill. So The usual was happening, Rainbow being her self, us having fun, as well as bucking apples. The message came after Rainbow went off to practice. Here, I stuck it in so I don't have to write it!!
My dearest Applejack,
I have important news that I myself was just only told!
It has something to do with you and Rainbow...

I had no clue what she was gonna speak about but I went any way.
I arrived to Twilight's tree, her home, to find the place in a mess, she isn't usually messy though, I felt a terrible sickness welling in the pit of my stomach.
"Oh Applejack, you are finally here." she exclaims rushing me to take a seat.
I take my seat and raise my eyebrows ate her.
" What in tarnation is going on Twilight?" I asked her.
" Well, this may take a while to explain but here it goes, You remember that day when the princess said that females could have children?" she asked without even waiting for my answer. " well, that wasn't entirely true, basically she only tried it on you and rainbow, she only told me today and said that it was possible but was highly unlikely to happen. Do you know what this means? Well, you can have children... In a few years of course, since we have seen no progress we are thinking of creating an elixir, what do you think?"
I was overwhelmed with feelings too hard to explain.
"By golly, I could be a mother?"
