Code's First Adventure

"LEAVE ME ALONE!" He screamed behind him, were Discord was approaching him. Discord just continued to follow him. Cody continued to run until he realized he ran out of Ponyville and into the Everfree forest. "I think I lost him." Cody told himself. He slowed his pace due to the fact that Discord as nowhere in sight. He looked around the forest only to find a small egg on the ground. He looked at it, wondering what it was. Suddenly, it started to shake. "AHHHHHH!" Cody screamed as he hid behind a bush. Cody looked to see what was going on. Suddenly, Discord burst out off the egg. Cody looked at Discord.Discord only saw only pure terror in Cody's eyes. "You're going to get it Cody.You deserve this." Discord said as he touched Cody's head. Suddenly, Cody started to turn grey,but stopped before his head could turn grey.Suddenly,Cody started to levitate and flash multiple colors.He could feel a power, welling up inside him,he couldn't understand what was going on with him, for nothing like this had happened in his books.Discord was amazed at Cody's power."So,it's gonna be you.'Discord said to the giant energy mass, which Cody was producing.

He walked back to his house, twitching. When he got home,his mother was waiting for him. "Do you know what time it is?!?" she yelled at Cody. Cody couldn't concentrate though, since he was still worried about Discord. His mother continued to yell at him as he walked to his room. He finally got tired of his mom yelling and he turned to her, surprisingly fast and yelled back "Do you know what happened tonight?!?""I don't care, you should..." Cody turned grey all of a sudden."Cody?" His mom said"Are you,alright?' she asked as Cody walked toward her.Cody laughed manically as he walked toward her,eyes blood red.Suddenly, Cody burst out the window and away from Ponyville toward the Everfree forest. He turned brown in the forest."whats happening to me?" he asked himself. He looked in his reflection and saw his Discorded side."You're Discorded side is coming out Cody" it said."You may not know when, but it will happen and when it does, you'll lose somepony close to you." Cody then punched his reflection and hit his head against a tree."Why am I like this?Why?" Cody asked himself.

He then went to Rainbow Dash's gave. "I'm sorry grandmother. I don't know whats going on with me.Please, I need your help so badly now." He told the grave."Hey squirt, I heard you need my help."a soft, yet brash voice said.Cody looked behind him and saw his grandmother,Rainbow dash' ghost,right there."Listen kid, i was like you when I was your age, i was a lot like you.Waiting to get my cutie mark, but never did I obtain a split-personality.I say you teach the other you a lesson.Also, you kinda remind me of a kid I saw right before I raced and got my cutie mark."Rainbow Dash told Cody."O.. OK grandma.""Oh by the way, tell Spike that I said hi." Rainbow Dash the faded away. He then went back home.The window was shattered."I'm sorry mommy, I just don't know what came over me."His mom looked very scared, but walked up to her son."No, I should be sorry.I shouldn't have yelled at you so much."She walked Cody to his bed and tucked him in."Goodnight, my little prince."
