Chapters Twilight closes her wings and stares at the beaker as she slowly pours some red liquid in an egg.
When a drop went into the egg, Twilight backs up and takes cover, along with Rainbow Dash. Twilight is sitting in a position to where she can see the egg but not get hurt by the egg. As she looks at the egg, it appears to turn a maroon-ish color, then it turns to pink, then it turns back to normal. Twilight slowly got up and walked towards it slowly without making a sound. Rainbow Dash followed behind her, and only taking two steps before she realized Twilight was going back; The egg exploded. Before the goo could reach them, they both flew under a table.
"Sorry, Twilight! I didn't mean to do anythi-"
"No, it wasn't your fault. It was mine...I accidentally knocked over a beaker full of stomach acid, and the liquid inside the egg mixed with the yolk and bird DNA, it was too sensitive...so...it blew up...." Twilight said, getting from out of the table.
Where the egg was, there was an ash pile as black as night. Twilight sighed and threw away the ash, then the eggs.
"I shouldn't even make a new gender, I only started having my alicorn powers yesterday...I just got a little too excited..." Twilight sulked. Rainbow dash helped her clean the wall from the red goo while Twilight cleaned the floors. When the room was sparkly clean, Rainbow Dash said goodbye and Twilight went to her room to go take a nap, not realizing something oozing out of the trash can.
Meanwhile, Pinkie Pie was having a party at Sugar Cube Corner to celebrate Twilight's transformation. Everypony was there; even Celestia, Luna, and even Discord!
"This party sure is great, sugarcube! It's a shame Twilight couldn't come, it is after all for her." AppleJack said.
Pinkie pie smiled and ate a cake whole.
"Well, ish okay beacush I- *gulp* am having a great time without her anyways! Besides, we can always send her a piece of cake!" Pinkie suggested. AppleJack smiled and helped her eat an apple pie.
"Listen up, Ponyville!" Vinyl Scratch yelled through a mic. "Celestia wants to say something!"
Celestia grabbed the microphone and said as speech representing Twilight's alicorn transformation.
"Ponyville, we are all here today to celebrate Twilight becoming a princess! We'd all like to thank Twilight's family and friends for supporting and helping her throughout all of her troubles. She's not here right now, but we can still party in representation of her!" Celestia cheered while drinking Apple Cider.
Everypony stomped on the ground as hard as they could while smiling. Vinyl then put on her DJ glasses and played some dubstep while everypony danced.
"Hey, where's Rarity?" Fluttershy asked in confusion.
Rainbow Dash and the other main 4 looked around but couldn't find her. Rainbow Dash looked at the door and saw a black figure standing there, then running to the right.
"Hey, Rarity! Come back!" Rainbow Dash called.
"Excuse me girls, I saw something outside." Rainbow Dash said, flying out the door.
She flew straight out and landed on her hooves. It was now 10:30, about the time that everypony was supposed to be asleep.
Rainbow Dash's eyelids grew heavier and heavier as she walked around town calling Rarity's name. At that time she just remembered that the figure she saw before galloped to the right. She looked there and saw the Everfree Forest.
Gulp.
Rainbow Dash slowly walked into the forest and saw many parasprites, some timberwolves in the distance, and some weird looking plants. Rainbow Dash started to trot now, getting a little creeped out. She looked back and saw the dim light of Sugar Cube Corner fading away. All of a sudden, she bumped into something - appeared to be a wall. Rainbow Dash shook her head and wiped her nose.
"Ah, haysticks. I got a bloody nose..." She complained, looking up to what she bumped into.
She gasped as she saw signs covered in blood. Rainbow dash wiped at the sign, apparently wiping away the dust on it. With the dust away, she could now see words - dripping with blood. The words were messy and she couldn't read them right, but she looked closely and could see a paragraph - no, a warning and a message.

Rainbow Dash tried reading the last word, because apparently it was smeared - the smear leading to the bottom of the sign.
She shook in fear.
"R-Rarity?" She cried, taking a few steps back slowly, but bumping into something else. She quickly turned around and saw a figure behind her.
"You... killed her....You're gonna PAY!!!!" She screamed, repetitivley punching the figure, only to realize it was some leaves and rocks shaped as a figure. Rainbow Dash blushed and slowly walking away, then trotting, then galloping, but she was now lost. She began to sweat. She galloped around and found a figure laying on the floor. She looked closer and it was Rarity - more grayish like she was discorded,, a messy and cut up mane, some stained cuts and bruises, and full black eyes with black liquid coming out.
Rainbow Dash opened her wings and tried flying up, and she saw Ponyville from where she was. She immediately flew there and went to tell her friends what she saw, trying to say it without crying.
"How could this have happened?!" Applejack asked. Rainbow Dash shook her head and put her hoof over AJ's shoulder.
Twilight put her wings on her eyes in disgrace. Fluttershy had to have buckets near her so all her tears wouldn't flood the town.
Rainbow Dash sat there and prayed to Celestia. Rarity's mom was crying and her dad was covering Sweetie Belle's eyes. Everypony was crowed around the body covered in a blanket and was either crying, whimpering, praying, or were too chicken to show up.
"This was my fault..." Rainbow Dash sighed. Everypony turned and looked at Rainbow, all listening for a reason.
"I should have watched her better so she wouldn't have ran into the Everfree..." Rainbow Dash cried.
"It wasn't yar fault, Rainbow. It wasn't anypony's. We had no supervision over her. She went in herself, and we can't blame her for that - she was infected unexpectedly." AppleJack explained, wiping the tears from her eyes.

A month after Rarity's passing, Rainbow Dash woke up from a thunder. She woke up and flew out of her Room and stood straight tall for her Wonderbolts Captain: Spitfire.
"Alright, you sissies, we're gonna practice for the big day tomorrow. We're gonna perform at the Summer Sun Celebration, so we gotta be absolutely perfect.
Rainbow Dash opened her wings and flew straight up, high in the air, then she instantly flew straight down and turning over to land on her hooves - and accomplished it. Spitfire looked at Rainbow Dash with a little bit of impressionism, but then she turned away like it was a normal everyday thing.
"Now, everypony, give me 150 laps around the big bang! Whoever finishes first doesn't have to clean the restrooms for 8 hours!" Spitfire ordered. The Big Bang was a 105 mile long, thunder cloud with a width of 60 miles. It was Cloudsdale's monument, and it is illegal to sleep or prance on it for it is known for it's size and it was also the first cloud who rained upon Equestria.
Rainbow Dash was the first to finish, then Lightning Strike, then Thunderlane, and when everypony else finished, Spitfire threw a mop, bucket of water, and a sponge at them, indicating that they had to clean. Rainbow Dash snickered at them while she did wing-ups.
Rainbow Dash awoke to her alarm clock. She smashed the clock, making it shut up. After that she got out of bed and went to the bathroom to brush her mane and teeth and groom her coat and wings. She then got into the shower and washed herself. She got out and washed away the water that had been colored rainbow. Rainbow Dash quickly flew out and dried her mane and coat. She flew out and sat down at her dining table and ate Zap Apples and Fruit flavored juice. She then fed Tank and put on her Saddlebag and flew out the door.
Meanwhile, Twilight was in her lab trying to study Rarity's body. She had put Rarity on a machine that looked like a giant microscope. She studied harder and harder, but she found nothing.
"I want to find out who killed Rarity, but there are no clues whatsoever!" Twilight sighed.
She brushed her hooves together and realized her hooves were sticky. She looked and saw black, liquidey, goo sticking on her hooves. She squealed and tried taking it off with an execution spell. Instead, she took it off with her aura and put it in a bottle. She shivered, then took off her glasses and went outside to take a break. She ate an apple and saw Rainbow Dash fly by. She waved, but RD didn't see her so she went back inside to study.
Rainbow Dash was flying really high in the sky. She flew past many clouds and demolished almost 3,000 thunder clouds. She finally stopped to take a break on a white, fluffy, cloud. She saw something move in the bushes below her, in the Everfree Forest. Rainbow dash quickly looked away and puffed her head in the pillow, but she couldn't stand to look at the moving bush. She decided to finally scoot towards it. Rainbow dash put the cloud infront of her as a shield, then she slowy scooted inside.
Inside the forest, she saw the same things before - this time using a shiny, gold rope to tell where she was so she didn't get lost. Rainbow dash shook with fear and gulped as she kept seeing the same figure's eyes stare at her. She'd quickly look away, then look back and see that it disappeared. As she flew by, She heard russling ahead of her. She turned around and saw a black figure and Bon Bon. Bon Bon was screaming and yelling and pushing and bucking the monster, but it stared at her. Then, slowly, Bon Bon turned quiet as she saw slimy tentecals come out of the back of the black and gooey monster.
The monster was black as night and gooey. It left a trail of sticky, black, sap behind it. The tenticals were slimy as well, but they had a circle at the end that appeared to have sticky circles on the back. The monster's eyes were maroon and had a Pinkamena Diane Pie manecut.
Anyways, the monster put it's cups on Bon Bon's heart. She slowly lost her color as the tentacle sucking it was flashing the colors of Bon Bon. The monster uncapped the tentacles and made another tentacle appear from it's back - a needle shaped tentacle. The "needle" struck Bon Bon near her eye. She screamed in pain. Some goo from the monster went into the needle and then it injected into Bon Bon's eyes - making them cry black liquid like Rarity's eyes. Bon Bon's head slowy fell forward amd Rainbow Dash gasped when saw the monster turn around - then it ran away. Rainbow Dash flew back to her house in the sky and wrote in her diary what happened. She slowy fell asleep and then got under the covers and went to bed.
Rainbow Dash had a normal day as usual, bucking clouds and taking naps. She would stop for a snack of 2 Zap Apples and then some Rainbow Juice - having to having to have water near so she can wash the spicy Rainbow out of her mouth. She would sometimes even stare at the EverFree Forest to see if that monster infected any more ponies. She was about to get back to work when she heard a squeal.
Rainbow Dash turned around and perked her ears up. Her ears went sideways, then she looked away and tried going to sleep, but then she realized her cloud was drifting away from Ponyville and out of Equestria from a wind coming from the west. She tried flying back, but even her speed couldn't beat it. Rainbow Dash then heard a stallion's scream and a mare's wincing cry.
Rainbow Dash instantly bucked the cloud and flew straight to the scream, but it was no use. She got another cloud and sat on it and cried. She didn't know if her friends and fans were getting hurt, injured or killed. All she really did was wait until the wind stopped. She looked at Ponyville and saw smoke coming from Twilight's tree/library/house.
Rainbow Dash felt the wind stop and she flew towards Twilight's tree. When she got to Ponyville, she was too late. All the houses were crushed and burnt to ashes. Rainbow Dash decided to check out Sugar Cube Corner. She galloped inside and stopped when she heard whispering. She turned around and saw a black figure outside of Sugar Cube Corner locking the door. Rainbow Dash gasped and tried to buck the door open, but it was locked with a key - the key the monster swallowed.
She had no choice but to stay inside the burning building. She was running out of air and inhaling too much smoke.
RD's ears perked up when she heard a cry inside Sugar Cube Corner.
"Help- *COUGH* me! Rainbow Dash! H-*WHEEZE*elp..." A voice behind her cried. Rainbow Dash turned around and saw all of Sugar Cube Corner - Pinkie Pie passed out from too much smoke being inhaled, Carrot Cake and Pound Cake crying, Mrs. Cake stuck under a burning plank and Mr. Cake trying to get the plank off her.
Rainbow Dash walked to them. She put the two twin foals on her back, thrust the plank off Mrs. Cake, carried Pinkie Pie with her mouth, and put them near the door. Rainbow Dash bucked a hole in the roof and carried the Sugar Cube Corner bunch outside. She went outside and placed them into a field of grass. Next, Rainbow Dash saw Twilight's tree.
Rainbow Dash flew to there and bucked the door open as well - no, she tore the door off it's bolts so the monster couldn't lock it. She saw nopony in the main room, so she galloped up the stairs and saw Twilight using a book to have a forcefield around Spike but not around her. Spike was banging on the walls of the forcefield, crying Twilight's name. Twilight took a glance at Rainbow Dash and she mouthed, "Go." Rainbow Dash shook her head.
"No! I'm the Element of Loyalty! I'm not going to leave any of my friends!" Rainbow Dash disagreed. She pushed Twilight so the forcefield would break. She picked up Spike and put him on her back, then Twilight followed her. Rainbow Dash stopped on the third stair step. She heard whispering below. Rainbow Dash gave Spike to Twilight and she slowly crept downwards and stopped. The monster was eating something - maybe somepony. She got a closer look and put her hoof over her mouth. The monster was eating wood and then spitting it out as fire.
Rainbow Dash flew back to them and grabbed Spike. Along with Twilight, Rainbow Dash galloped straight out the door without the monster noticing. Since Twilight was healthy enough to keep going, Rainbow Dash's vision went blurry and gave Spike to her.
"You need to go and help other ponies be safe... I'm passing out...I-I inhaled too much smoke...*COUGH* *WHEEZE*" Rainbow Dash passed out. Twilight brought Rainbow Dash to the Sugar Cube Corner bunch. Pinkie Pie had awoken from fresh air and the two foals were asleep. Mrs. Cake and Mr. Cake were taking care of the foals. Twilight put Rainbow Dash near Pinkie Pie. "You heal her, okay? I have to go help other ponies!" Twilight said. Pinkie Pie nodded and started doing CPR on Rainbow Dash.
Twilight opened her wings, flew up and looked to see if any houses/buildings had a chance for ponies to be survived. Her sight instantly went towards the Mayor's house. I don't give a flying feather if you get murdered or killed, because it'll be YOUR fault and YOUR fault ONLY that you'll be infected and devoured!
She flew towards the Mayor's house and bucked the door open. The mayor had already been infected - the Mayor didn't believe Twilight about it being a monster. Twilight cried and crouched near the Mayor.
"I'm so sorry! I did care if you died! I DID! Please forgive me...Please...." Twilight cried with tears rolling down her cheeks.
Twilight stopped. She started to shake. She gulped. She started to sweat. She heard a whisper, then a growl, then a scream behind her. She slowly turned around and saw the monster right behind her. She screamed and punched the monster with an uppercut. The monster screamed again and lunged at her. Twilight got back up and carried the Mayor towards the bunch in the field. Spike had fell asleep, and Rainbow Dash had awoken. The Sugar Cube Corner bunch stayed the same as they were when Twilight left. Twilight heard screams from houses far away - she couldn't save any more. She was too weak. All Twilight did was lay down near Spike, put her wing over him, and fell asleep.
Twilight woke up in the field like she had fell asleep. She yawned and stretched out her wings, then she cracked her jaw while she slowly started to wake more. The soft grass swaying against her coat was relaxing. Twilight's mind started to wonder off as she thought about how she got in the field, she remembered falling asleep in her bed. Her memory started coming back to her bit by bit, then soon enough she opened her eyes wide as she realized what happened yesterday.
She gasped, then felt a tear on her cheek. She quickly wiped it away.
"Mayor Mare..." Twilight whispered. "I-I'm so sorry...I didn't mean to..." She felt a sudden vibrate in her wing that made her jump. She calmed down as she realized it was only Spike shaking from a nightmare. She rubbed his head spikes like they were hair as she picked him up with her telekinesis and put him on her back.
Twilight then glanced over at her friends, who were now either awake and cold or asleep and afraid. She glanced over at Ponyville. She sighed. Spike immediately awoke.
"W-What the? Where are we? Twilight, why are you sta-" "I'm keeping watch for my friends so they don't become infected - that monster had killed everypony in Ponyville, it's probably attacking Canterlot right now, and there's a chance that it already killed the other Elements of Harmony besides Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie. It's all my fault, Spike..." Twilight cried. Spike pat her back and hugged her.
Pinkie Pie awoke, making Rainbow Dash - who was on top of a cloud near the Cake family - wake as well, which made the foals awake and cry who woke up the Cake couple. Twilight giggled. A chain of awaking, that's cute.
"Girls, we need to go and see if there are any survivors left in Ponyville before we go save Canterlot." Twilight said. She stomped her hoof down in anger. "I WON'T
"Yeah, let's go kick some plots!" Rainbow Dash grunted, but Pinkie Pie was giggling.
"Silly Twilight, Mr. Cake isn't a mare! Mr. Cake is a stallion! HUGE difference!" She giggled. Twilight rolled her eyes and motioned for the ponies to follow her.
The group of ponies all checked the houses for more survivors. They would each say "Nope.", "No.", or "No survivors here." if they found nopony.
"It's useless... We should just leave. Nopony could have survived through this." Rainbow Dash said, looking through a house. Twilight and the others agreed sadly and started to walk out of Ponyville. Twilight was the last to get out. She stopped as she heard a faint, covered, cry. She turned around as she saw a yellow pony's leg and some pink hair sticking out of an apple cart. Twilight galloped towards it.
"Fluttershy?! What are you doing here? You were here the whole time?" Twilight asked, helping Fluttershy out of the cart.
"The mayor told me that I shouldn't worry about the black figure walking through the st-streets, and I believed her. So when I saw him, or her, I went up to it and hugged it and welcomed it to Ponyville...b-but it....i-it..." Fluttershy stuttered, on the verge of tears, "...it pushed me away and grew these wings like my pet bat's... it grabbed the Mayor by her neck and it bit her. Then Mayor turned all gray as the monster grew tentacles out of it's back as it sucked the colors out of her...then it injected some kind of liquid into her, making her eyes drool that liquid. Then her head slowly fell down and it turned to me... it threw the mayor in her window and picked me up, then it threw me against a wall. I galloped away and hid in this cart so it wouldn't find me and kill me..."
Twilight gasped as Fluttershy was crying. She pat her back as she rubbed her mane and shushed her softly every time Fluttershy would say something sorrowful. The others were standing, watching, as Twilight and Fluttershy slowly walked towards the group. Fluttershy lifted her head up.
"Let's go kick some plot...nopony... hurts... MY.....FRIENDS!" Fluttershy yelled. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie smiled angrily as the nodded their heads. Then they all ran towards Canterlot to go do what they planned.
All of the mane group kept galloping towards Canterlot, since the train was broken down. They would now and then check under and inside buildings for survivors. Finally, at midnight, they reached Canterlot. Buildings and shops were torn apart and flaming. Ponies could be seen inside the windows of buildings, shivering, scared, crying. Twilight frowned at the survivors.
"Girls, go help those ponies. Pinkie, go help the fillies and colts along with the foals, Fluttershy, calm the animals, Rainbow Dash, help pegasi hide into clouds, AppleJack, go give the survivors some left over food." Twilight ordered. All the ponies went to go do the commands. Twilight walked through the town, looking at the allies and tops of the buildings to look for that monster.
Twilight flinched as she heard a snap of a twig behind her. She quickly turned around as she saw the beast standing, looking confused at the twig that now had been sucked into it's hoof as it grew a bit. It then looked at Twilight and smiled coldly at her. It opened it's bat-like wings and roared at Twilight as the goo in it's mouth dripped from it's jaw.
Twilight ground her teeth as she growled at it. She hit her hoof on the ground a few times like a bull would when it's about to charge. Twilight bowed her head down and ran towards the monster. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!" Twilight screamed while running. The monster cocked it's head right before it was trampled by Twilight. The two kept rolling in somersaults on top of each other until they crashed into a flaming building. Her horn stabbed the monster in the chest, but it growled and bucked her off it. She landed near AppleJack as she groaned at the pain of her wing. The monster then ran towards Twilight as she got up and and dodged the beast as it kept running aimlessly everywhere until it bumped into a wall. Then it got back up and turned towards Twilight again.
It ran towards her but She stopped it with her forcefeild. It crashed and fell over while Twilight jumped onto it and started jumping on it until it stopped moving. Then she got off it and and started to walk away before she turned around and saw the beast trying to get up. She growled at it and was about to run towards it before it started waving it's hooves back and forth as if saying "No! NONONONONONO!" She frowned and looked at the beast, waiting for a reason. Then it smiled and jumped onto Twilight. It bit her in the neck as Twilight started howling. It then got off her and watched as the color drained from Twilight...but then she got back up and bucked the monster in the face. It backed away and stared in amazement as Twilight had colorful ponies around her... AppleJack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Rarity were all hugging her and healing her.
Wait.
Rarity?
Twilight then smiled at the beast as she got her colors back. The monster started growling and whining and slowly walking away until it got stopped by a building. Twilight closed her eyes as she put on her crown and helped her friends put on their element necklaces. Then They started floating while Twilight opened her eyes and they were blank. All of a sudden, a giant rainbow shot out of the mane 6 as buildings were fixed and the skies turned back to normal. The rainbow turned down and shot straight towards the monster. It started screaming and yelling and scrambling to get out of the rainbow's grasp, but it stopped moving and dissolved into the rainbow. The rainbow disappeared and the mane six cheered.
Twilight wakes up from the sun shining beautifully through her window. She wakes up with a yawn, then she gets out of bed and goes to the bathroom. Her magenta aura covers a manebrush, and she brushes her hair, then she brushes her teeth. She walks out of the bathroom and happily trots down the stairs humming "Smile, Smile, Smile". Twilight smiles and quickly runs to a steel door. She presses a red button and types in a password with her telekinesis. The steel door then opens and she happily trots in. Twilight grabs some gray goggles and slaps them on, along with yellow gloves on her hooves and her white coat. She flaps her wings to get them ready. Her aura then covers some small beakers full of multiple colors.
"I'm ready." She says.
Twilight began to pour liquids into different beakers, along with reaching into her saddlebag and grabbing spices and herbs then putting it into the beakers. She then sees Rainbow Dash randomly fly in, making her jump and spill her beaker liquid she was holding.
"Rainbow Dash?! Look what you just did! I worked hard on this! Besides, how'd you even get in?!" She complained, trying to wipe up the mess with a purple towel.
"Sorry, gosh. You left the door wide open and I thought you were doing something exciting." Rainbow Dash said.
Twilight moved her sight towards the door, then looking at Rainbow Dash angrily.
"Whatever... just don't touch anything. I mean, ANYTHING. If You mess me up on this, I swear I will bucking punch your stomach until you d-"
"OKAY OKAY, I get it. I'll just sit here until you're done."
Twilight grunted then repeated what she did before, this time writing down what she does incase Rainbow Dash messes her up. When she got to the point where she was, she sighed in relief and uses her aura to pull out 5 eggs from her saddlebag. Twilight carefully takes out a scalpel and pokes a tiny hole on the top of each egg. Rainbow Dash tilts her head in confusion.
"What are you doing? Are you trying to give the egg air-holes?" She asks, her head still tilted.
Twilight looks up at her after her last hole in the egg.
"No, I'm making a hole in the top of the egg so that I can pour this liquid into the eggs. I have more then one just incase I mess up." She says, using her telekinesis to pick up a beaker with red liquid in it. She throws Rainbow Dash some goggles and other science equipment and RD puts them on. Twilight puts on all her equipment for safety, then slaps on her gloves.
"I'm ready to experiment." She says.
Twilight woke Spike up in midnight. Spike slowly woke up and he was about to yell when he saw the clock but Twilight shushed him.
"Look..." Twilight whispered, pointing to her window. Spike crouched with Twilight and they both walked towards the window. It was raining, and hard to see but Twilight used a spell to wipe away the water on the window. They both saw a black and gooey monster, the one that had killed Bon Bon. Twilight and Spike gasped. The monster heard a bit of it, but it ignored that and had his sight on one thing: Bon Bon. The body was being held by tentacles and was still like it was when it got infected - black, gooey, eyes, and discorded gray skin.
Twilight's horn grew a dark red and her eyes turned blank white. The monster gets covered in that aura color and it's eyes grow blank white as well. It turns to Twilight and it scream-growls at her. It then grows wings and flies up, dropping the body of Bon Bon. Twilight's spell took a picture of the monster - so she could copy it and send it to other ponies so they can be aware of this monster.
The Mayor's reaction wasn't similar to anypony else's - instead of being scared and shutting her windows, she screamed with delight.
"A new pony? That'll be fun!" The mayor squealed. "I'll show it around while you show it the food and drinks. I'll ask Pinkie Pie to throw a party for him! Or... is it a she?"
"WHAT?! THIS IS A MONSTER! You really want to throw a party for it?! It'll kill us ALL!" Twilight screamed. The Mayor made a disappointed face and gesture and looked at her with disgust.
"How dare you! I can't believe this! A princess is lying about a newcomer to Ponyville! You should be ashamed of yourself!" The mayor disagreed. Twilight's jaw dropped. Her eyes had fire in it, burning with rage. She thrust her hooves in the air and slammed them on the mayor's desk, making The Mayor jump and scream.
"I'm NOT lying! This is an absolute MONSTER! It practically MURDERED Rarity and Bon Bon, and it has scared everypony out of their wits! If you think I'm lying, GO RIGHT AHEAD! Go and HUG it for Celestia's sake! I don't give a flying feather if you get murdered or killed, because it'll be YOUR fault and YOUR fault ONLY that you'll be infected and devoured!" Twilight screamed with rage, getting off The Mayor's desk and blowing her bangs out of her eyes. The mayor was shocked and scared. Twilight's horn glowed a magneta aura and a picture appeared with a flash, the same aura as her horn. The picture showed the monster screaming/growling at the viewer, and she set it upon the Mayor's desk with a slam. Twilight grunted and bucked the door open, then slammed it shut. The mayor was frozen from surprise, then her glasses went crooked and they fell off her face entirely and broke into pieces.
Twilight and her friends returned to Ponyville when they got back, everypony cheered with enjoyment. Spike ran up to Twilight along with Shining Armor in tears. They both hugged and thanked her and loved on her. Sweetie Belle and her mom and dad were in awestruck with tears while hugging Rarity. "You're alive!" They kept saying. AppleBloom, Big Mac, and Granny Smith were all patting AJ on the back and thanking her. Angel was crying and hugging and cuddling Fluttershy. Pinkie's family and Gummy were hugging and crying and thanking her and promised to throw a party afterwards. Rainbow Dash stood alone while everypony was getting hugs and kisses.
"Rainbow Dash! Rainbow Dash! RAINBOW!" A familiar voice cried. Scootaloo came running up to Rainbow Dash in tears. She jumped into RD's arms and started yadding on and on about how cool she was and how she saw a giant rainbow in the sky. Rainbow Dash explained exactly what happened and bragged about how cool she was helping all the pegasi.
Afterwards, Equestria threw a big party in Ponyville run by Pinkie Pie. Everypony attended and were so excited to read Twilight's new book, "The Plague". She brought a souvenir as well - a jar full of some of the goo that the beast had. The little foals and kids all ooed and awed during the reading of the book. Rainbow Dash taught Scootaloo how to fly during the party and Rarity explained how she was alive the whole time, just passed out.
"All that ruffian did was put me to deep sleep and suck out my colors. I woke up afterwards and eventually got my colors back. I saw Twilight and the others running to Canterlot, and with my rage, I wanted to follow. So, I did. I then was greeted by the others and we defeated that monster." Rarity explained. Sweetie Belle was squealing with excitement.
After the stories they all ate a giant chocolate cake with vanilla icing and strawberry sprinkles. They also ate Hay sandwiches and zap apples. Princess Celestia then announced that day to be a holiday - a holiday to celebrate the defeating of the Goo monster.
Twilight later had to throw away the jar full of goo because it was rotting and started stinking up the castle. She never forgot the time she defeated her own creation. She would now and then try bringing back a cheeriful version of the goo monster but it would fail and would only last seconds. She would never stop trying, though, and with that she lived her life.
Rainbow dash visted her one day. She knocked on her door.
"I-It's me, Twilight! Come in!" Twilight greeted. Rainbow Dash came into the castle and brought in a book titled "The Plague". Twilight smiled as Rainbow Dash pulled it out. "Now, I need you to sit down in your throne, please." Rainbow asked. Twilight did and squeaked in joy.
Rainbow dash opened up the book and coughed.
"The Plague," she read. "Chapter 1: The infection starts"
