Hiding in the Shadows

Shadow has been missing for almost a decade. Everypony who knew him have faced the facts and assumed he was dead. But Shadow is still alive, and when he finds a town called Ponyville, he finds that he can have a better life, where he can make new friends, and find a pony who affected him drastically earlier in his life. But, he wields a dark power thought to have been gone after a certain group of ponies ousted it from the original wielder. Can he control it? Or will he end up hurting somepony?
