Chaos. All there was. Glorious calamity and confusion. The time when darkness and crazy ruled in one being. That being was me. Those times were the best. Ever corner you looked you saw misery and despair. I crushed the little ponies' hope. That was all they had left. Hope.
I saw the tears of their children. I saw the anger in their eyes. They tried to make sense of what was happening but what fun is there in making sense? Everyday was a new way to show them the brilliant terror of losing your sanity. So many ways to crush the dreams of the equines. They tried to fight back, but failed. Too many casualties. But there was a price to my victory. The rest of my race of Draconequis were wiped out. So much anger caused me to become who I used to be.
My name is Discord.
And I was there for revenge.
They thought they knew chaos before, but that was the tip of the iceberg. Just the surface. I showed them true chaos. I would rip the wings from the pegasi and the horns off the unicorns. I would make all the crops shrivel and die, causing them to starve. I no longer took delight in just chaos.
I took delight in the pain that came with it.
The silly ponies of course told prophecies. They said a mare as bright as the sun and a mare as mysterious as the moon would one day rise up and take back the land. I swore that it would never happen. But soon, oh very soon, the mares would be born. So I did what anyone would do, I stopped time itself. I may seem weak but all the anger from the rest of my kind being decimated made me that much stronger. Oh, I still "rose" the sun and moon to trick the foals into thinking they were saved, that they would be free from the reign of liberation and chaos. Soon however, 5 years passed.
Then 50.
Then 100.
By then the ponies had lost hope, and I had them all as my puppets. I was the puppeteer. Yes. It suited me very well. I controlled them, their feelings, their beings. It felt....good. I controlled everything. I was all powerful! But little did I know that i grew too weak to perform the time stop spell. I didn't know the two mares were being raised right underneath my nose. I was clueless as to who they were and what they were doing. But then one day, I met her. She had gorgeous flowing pink hair, a coat as white as freshly fallen snow, eyes as blue as sapphires. I was in love. I quickly disguised myself as a young colt, going by the name of Disguise. I went up to her, acting innocent. I asked for her name, stating mine was Disguise. She turned around and smiled. She replied with a voice like an angel.
"My name is Celestia."
