Humanity once thought itself to be above the common animal, to be sophisticated and superior. but during the year 2015 World War 3 began, the world was covered in fire and corpses. Forests burned and cities fell one by one, water, fuel, food, and other resources ran out faster than nature or man could replenish them. Over half the worlds population had died off by the year 2018, the super powers of Earth such as the US, China, Russia, and the UK were the first to fall. People even soldiers and police revolted against their governments for a number of reasons some listed above. Once every world leader had been killed via public execution the world went into a state of anarchy.

No laws meant to rules or bounds to keep anyone from doing anything. While many people thought this would be horrible it in truth allowed humanity to advance rather quickly. Since no rules due to religion or human treatment were enforced people, while painfully, began to build a brighter future for themselves. In what is now known as the Brass Era humanity uses wind, water, solar, and mostly steam powered machines. It was a more machine based version of the 1800's. Now humans have built many new cities with their technology. Some are whole cities underwater, underground, above ground, and even in the sky.
