Wonderbolts Academy Continued

Five ponies watched as their friend flew away. Once Dash was out of sight, they see a new pony approaching them. They watched together as a red pegasus with blue hair with a three lightning bolt cutie mark landed in front of them.

It's a rare occassion Rainbow Dash can't perform her duties, so when it does arise, a relief pony is usually sent over from Cloudsdale. And of course, no pony gets into Ponyville without a greeting and a party from Pinkie Pie.

"Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie, I never saw you before, which must mean..." Pinkie said excitedly until the new pony shoved a hoof into her mouth.

"They said you were a lively one Pinkie Pie, but I didn't think you'd be so energetic." the pegasus said.

"Really? Not many ponies have really heard of us." Twilight said.

"Oh believe me Twilight Sparkle, you are your friends are the talk of the country. There are ponies everywhere who would kill to be you, even in Canterlot." the red pegasus replied.

"Well, ain't that something, bah the way, what's your name miss?" Applejack asked the newcomer.

"Of course, where are my manners? My name is Triple Threat, but you can just call me Triple for short." Triple replied.

"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Triple Threat." Rarity said.

"Actually, the pleasure is mine, I never thought I'd get to meet the mares who saved Equestria from Nightmare Moon and Discord."

"You'd think more ponies would have heard of us because of that."

"They have, but there are all jealous of you six. Just think, any six ponies could have gone into the Everfree and come out heroes. That being said, they pretend not to know who you are just to make themselves feel better."

"Well, ain't that just sad. That explains why ponies around here act like they don't know us." Applejack put in.

"That's their problem, but I'll bet they'll know us when Rainbow Dash becomes a Wonderbolt, she already left for the acadamy." Pinkie replied.

"Oh, that's a pity. I wish I had gotten here early to give my congratulations." Triple said, this time there was some sadness in her tone.

"What's wrong Daring?" Rarity asked.

"It's just that, I don't thinks it's a good idea  for Rainbow Dash be a Wonderbolt." Triple Threat answered.

Gasps came from the elementals.

"Why not? It's Rainbow's dream to be a Wonderbolt, and everyone has to follow their dream, unless your like somepony who gives up on life..."

A red hoof covered Pinkie Pie's mouth again.

"Let me explain, the Wonderbolts travel all across Equestria, lets say they have a show in Las Pegasus and Dash is with them. While she's there, suppose the changelings invade Equestria again. You don't have all six wielders of the elements ready at the moments notice. You'd have to alert RD, and there's no telling how long that will take. And by the time she gets it and comes back, it could be too late." Triple said to the five ponies gathered around her like foals being told a story.

"Wow, I never would have thought of it like that, pretty insightful Triple." Twilight  said. She was ashamed she hadn't thought of that.

"Well, Ah reckon we need not worry now, but we should talk to Rainbow about it when she gets back." Applejack said.

"Cm n i fgt sp guna wap fa Dah, sno wlcop tpe," Pinkie said.

Triple looked at her and realized she was still holder her hoof over Pinkie's mouth. She removed it.

"Sorry, what did you say?" Triple asked.

"Come on, I forgot I set up a going away party for Dashie, so now it's a welcome party for Triple." Pinkie said.

Who can argue with Pinkie Pie there? They headed for Sugarcube corner.

After the party, Triple checked the weather for that day, a light shower. She groaned. Now she has to wait for the loaded clouds from Cloudsdale to be shipped to Ponyville, and there's no telling how long that can take. Triple decided to take a nap  on a cloud in the meantime. Some time later she was awaken by a soft, sweet voice and light poking.

"Um, Triple Threat?" Fluttershy asked.

The red pony opened one of her purple eyes.

"We're going to take a care package to Rainbow Dash. Since you've met us, we feel it's only right that you come with us to meet Rainbow Dash, do you want to come?" the yellow pony asked.

"Hay ya, of course I'll come." Triple said sleepily.

Just then, Raindrops showed up.

" The cloud shipment  is here." she said.

Triple groaned.

"I'll tell the other you can't come." Fluttershy said, and left.

The red pegasus watched her fly away, then dragged herself off the cloud to help set the shower up.  The pegasi have to move the clouds and position them in the right places.

"If I hurry, maybe I can catch the other before they reach the academy." Triple though to herself. "C'mon ponies, move it!" she shouted.

Triple hurriedly grapped clouds and placed them in the pile. The other weather ponies watched her in confusion, but decided to follow her lead. Since it was a light shower, it took all but thirty minutes to set up, though the red pegasus thought it should have taken less time. To start the shower, the clouds needed to be bucked, this means that the clouds are hit from the top so the rain falls out the bottom. This had to be done a good number of time for rain to start, and the bucks have to evenly disturbed among the storm clouds to start the rain. Several cloud bucks later, the shower was underway.

"Finally, if I hurry, I can make it the the academy." Triple Threat though to herself.

To bad that it didn't turn out that way.

A pegasus pony Triple knew as Rainbowshine approach her.

"Triple, there has been an accident at the factory. One of the workers in the Rainbow Department fell into the mix pool, and you know what spectra can do to a pony, we need you to come back to cover for him. One the local weather ponies has already been assigned to cover for Rainbow Dash." Rainbowshine said.

Triple Threat groaned loudly. It just wasn't her day today. At least she got the party.

"Alright,let's go" she told Rainbowshine, and they left Ponyville without another word.

"To bad Triple couldn't come with us." Fluttershy said.

"Yes, but weather doesn't manage itself, beside, I for one, can appreciate Triple taking her duties seriously." Rarity said.

"Ya know, Ah bet Triple would love to hear about our little adventure at the Wonderbolts Academy." Applejack said. When they got to town, they asked one of the pegasi about Triple Threat.

"Wait,  a red pegasus with blue hair and a three lightning bolt cutie mark?" Raindrops asked.

"Yes." Twlight answered.

"She was called back to Cloudsdale after an accident at the weather factory while you were gone." Raindrops told them.

"Ah man, poor TT, didn't even get a goodbye party." Pinkie said.

"As sad as that is Pinkie, I think we can agree that pony Lightning got the short end of all this." Twilight put in.

Her friends couldn't agree more, but they couldn't help but wonder what would become of Lightning Dust.
