The circus had arrived in a park by Ponyville in August 1987. That dark August evening had Twilight and Pinkie Pie went to the circus together. Pinkie Pie had told Twilight about the clown Ponyacci that had been famous in both Canterlot and the Griffon Kingdom, and he got standing ovations there.

"I searched through my books, but could not find a thing about him here." the unicorn pony told the pink pony.

"Let me tell what he is about." Pinkie Pie told Twilight.

Then had Pinkie Pie told Twilight about how she had followed Ponyacci's circus around Equestria every spring and summer since the 1970s. The two ponies had met with a stallion in the park, as they waited in 90 minutes for the show to begin by visiting the other tents. That stallion seemed to know Pinkie Pie and Ponyacci too. That was the earth pony family of Snails.

"I remember  you and Ponyacci from few years ago where I lived in Canterlot, but the clown in this circus could not make me laugh." the stallion told the pink pony.

Then had the stallion and the mares played with a red, shiny and big red balloon even if the stallion was afraid of balloons like the two mares. Twilight felt her horn itch by pricking the balloon over to the stallion, who nervously pushed the balloon over to her in some minutes with his snout. The ecstatic and playful stallion had then been holding the red sphere with his shaking hooves, and he gave Twilight a horn massage with it.
