Back in 1983 the year before Twilight became an alicorn were she and her friends at Shining Armor and Princess Cadence's Wedding in Canterlot.  Shining Armor maintained a huge bubble like forcefield under the Wedding. "This forcefield magic is something my uncle learned me as a filly." Shining Armor said to Twilight and smiled.

"He had been a captain of the guards too while he were at my age." the horse told Twilight and smiled.
