Nimble Quickhooves. That's the name I have achieved for myself, although I go by other names, like street rat, street urchin, moocher, thief, dirty kid, trash, you know, just the normal stuff. I live on the streets of Canterlot, and this is the story of how I saved Equestria from an invasion.

Set in an ever so slightly alternate universe.

Prologue- THIEF!

"Thief, THIEF! GUARDS COME QUICKLY!" The mare yelled as the colt ran off with the apple in his teeth. The colt was tan, with a greasy blonde mane, and had a no cutiemark. Two guards who were on patrol, ran after him.

"Hey you, stop!" One yelled.

"Yeah, that's happening," the colt muttered, tossing the apple at a small filly in an alleyway. The filly nodded gratefully, as she dashed off with it. The guards kept coming. "You won't be able to catch me you bimbos!" he yelled over his shoulders, just before he made a sharp turn onto a different street, one of the guards stopped, and was slammed into by the second one, knocking them both over. Two more guards came to help them up, as they were standing nearby. All four got up, and began to run after the kid. The end of the street ended, and there were no more turn points.

"We have you now!" One of the several guards yelled.

"You know what I find odd? The fact that Celestia hires idiots like you, they say that the employee's intelligence is that equaled of their boss. So why hire you idiots?" The colt said, causing the guards to scowl.

"When I get my hands on you, I am going to wring your neck," said one of them.

"Eh, maybe later," and with that, the colt ran towards his left, and struck his hoof on the wall, flipping onto the right one, and repeating the process landed upon the roof, and dashed off, as the guards began to look for ladders.

The mane six walked down the market street, the people clearing a path for the newly crowned princess Twilight. "Alright girls, Luna said that a colt near here has been causing a little trouble here lately, so we're here to give him a good talking to," Twilight said.

"Heh, by the description given by Luna, he sounds an awful lot like Scootaloo," Rainbow Dash said with a chuckle, just as said colt jumped off the roof, and landed by Twilight.

"Oh shit, they sent a bucking alicorn after me, not fair!" He yelled, as he tried to dash around the other way, but the guards came through and started charging him. He quickly weighed his options, and decided how he would proceed. He cautiously backed away from the mane six, and then charged forward at top speed, jumping over them. "See you later princess! Now tell the other two princesses to go eat mud!" The colt yelled over his shoulder, laughing. He quickly spun his head back around, and rammed into a large white wall. "OOF!"

"What was that young one?" the wall said, and upon looking up, he swallowed hard. The wall wasn't a wall at all, it was none other than princess Celestia herself. She was wearing an emotionless face.

"Oh buck, another one!" The colt backed up once again, and dashed forward, sliding under the tall alicorn. He continued to dash off, flipping over two other ponies, grabbing a ledge, and flinging himself to safety. "Let it be known to all that today was the day that Nimble Quickhooves got away from not one, but TWO ALICORNS!" He said, tossing his mane behind his head as he gave a wholehearted laugh, just as a dart flew into his neck, and he instantly slumped over, passed out.

"Uh, princess, what just happened?" Twilight asked.

"It would seem that the lunar stallions were on patrol as well," She said, while nodding at a bat winged pegasus who nodded back, and receded into the shadows.
