The simple yet usual day had began. Everypony was awake and doing their morning business like opening their stores, filling their shelves for the upcoming day, the Sugarcube Corner are starting to bake their daily scoop of goods with pink streaks appearing from nowhere, and the day was just beginning with pure harmony. At least that's what everyone else thought except for Flare. Flare had just walked many miles and he had just appeared at Ponyville. He had a rough day coming along, first he had flown from where he had started, only to be grounded by some clouds that got in his way and he crashed into some trees causing his wing to cramp up and stay in the state that its in currently. Second Flare had ran out of bits sometime ago and now his stomach is starting to shrivel up from not eating anything. Finally the yellow pegasus had no map so Flare had ran into a forest that was too eerie and dark to be average, unlike his home as where the forests there were calm, relaxing, and peaceful.
Despite his bad luck, Flare had walked into a park where a mare had seen him, and the he had cried out in agony for some help.
Well, this happened to be good right? Flare thought,
It could've went better you know? the voice had said in a mocking tone.
Shut up voice. That was the last thing he thought before he had closed his eyes, wondering if this is another dream of his....

As Flare tried to wake up, he had heard a mare say "Look, he's waking up!"
Hey! It sounds like that pony that has saved me. Maybe when I become conscience enough, I will thank her for being a life saver of me.
Are you sure that it's the pony that saved you, or are you just lying to your self?
"Shut up voice!" Flare yelled.
"Whoa! Are you sure that you're ok man?" the mare asked, "Because you seem to be talking to yourself and I don't think you got knocked up that bad. I mean, all that happened to you was just you passing out on me when I said hi."
"I am pretty sure that I am ok," the yellow pegasus explained, "it's just that-" Flare stopped, noticing for the first time on what his savior looked like, a mint-green unicorn that had a mane of the same color but the mane had a sections of white on the sides. On her flank, her cutie mark, Oh Celestia, why does it have to be named cutie mark, was a U-shaped golden instrument that had some string looking designs on it. Probably a harp from what I know, Maybe she knows how to play it too. But how??. Then after Flare had seen what the mare looked like, he seen another mare behind her, I am assuming that is her friend, and also the one that she was talking to earlier. This mare was completely different from what the first one looked like. She's cream-white with a mane of pink and navy blue, her "mark" was something that looks similar to candy. And if it is candy, then I have to absolutely ask her if she makes some because I want some bucking caramel or some butterscotch. I miss caramel....
"Hey!" the cream mare interrupted "Did you even hear what my asked?"
"I am so sorry, my apologies," Flare replied, "Please ask the question again, just one more time."
"Ok," The mint colored mare began, "I asked what is your name?"
"The name's Flare Flash," he answered, "and may I ask what is yours?"
The cream mare was about to begin talking, but the Lyra had interruped her and replied "My name is Lyra Heartstrings, and this here is my good friend, Bon Bon." So the names kind of explain what their marks mean, and that means the mare named Bon Bon makes candies and her friend does, well I'm guessing playing the harp and that probably *is** the thing that she does anyway, right?*
"Well just to say, you sure don't look like as though you don't belong here," Lyra said suspiciously, "or as a matter of fact, not even from this world"
"That's crazy talk!" Flare said, astonished on how the hell she could get random assumptions from nowhere. How did she find out!
Lucky guess I take it, but I am pretty sure she doesn't even know what exact world we are from. If she does know, then this mare might be the 'One that Travels'
That's absurd! The legends say that the 'One that Travels' is pink almost all over!
But you know that your memories are not exactly clear. right?
You are true on that one, I haven't heard the legend since Daft told me.
"Hello? Equestria to Flare," Lyra interrupted, "are you exactly sure you are ok?
"Yea, I'm sure of it, I was just thinking."
"About?"
"About why you came up with such an assumption of me coming from another world." Flare commented, still wondering why she had come up with such a weird comment.
"Don't worry," Bon Bon answered, "she does these things like almost every time we meet some new ponies. Hope that we didn't scare you or anything."
"It doesn't matter, I've been through these things a lot in my extremely short life." the yellow pegasus replied, "By the way Bon Bon, do you happen to make some caramel or some butterscotch?"
"Umm, let me think about that," the cream mare thought hard "what do they look like?"
"Caramel is a type of a dark-brown syrupy mix of melted sugar," Flare had began "and butterscotch is like the caramel but it's in a hard candy version"
"I have no clue on what you had just said but all I know is that here in Ponyville, we don't have those candies you call butterscotch."
"Wait!" Flare exclaimed, "So you're saying that you don't have any butterscotch, but instead you have caramel?"
"Umm.... About that," Bon bon started nervously, "you see, it's just that we do have caramel, but unfortunately it's very expensive and only one person makes them. I hope I haven't disappointed you."
"No worries. Just let me think on what to do now." Flare had a really strong feeling that this day is not going to end very well. So if they have caramel and they cannot make it unless you buy it. I will probably have to make my own with the help of my epic computer! Flare looked at the side of his bed for his bag only find some empty space. The yellow pegasus started to become worried. Not only if he didn't have his bag that he wouldn't be able to be in contact with his friends but he wouldn't be able to listen and also DJ his favorite music! What is going to do now?
"Flare," Lyra spoke, interupting the silence, "you seem to be looking for something, do you know what it is?"
"Of course I do! Otherwise I wouldn't be looking for it," Flare responded, "it just happens to be my bag which I had with me. Do you know where it is? That would be a fantastic help to me."
"Oh!" Bon bon exclaimed, "So that's what that thing you carried with you, Why does it look like that?" she asked while she placed the bag right on the hospital bed. As fast as lightning, Flare Flash dug through the bag as though a dragon would steal it. Ignoring the question from Lyra, the yellow pegasus took the laptop from the bag and hugged it hard.
"What's that?" the mares had asked in unison.
"Only the best thing created since chocolate muffins!" Flare had said.

Somewhere on the other side of the town, a mare with a grey coat and yellow mane had twitched a bit. "Huh, I wonder what was that about?"

Back in the hospital, Flare began to explain why it was important, "But seriously though, this fantastic device is called a laptop, a computer, or a pc, it really doesn't matter what you call it but I like calling it a laptop."
"What is it powered by?" the earth pony had said confused, "I mean it looks like a though it would be powered by some unicorn magic or some type of magic."
"You're on the right track, but in reality it's powered by aura," the pegasus said mysteriously, "aura is something that is in everyone and almost everything, it just mainly depends on what your life force is or you emotions. Say if Lyra was mad–"
"Now wait, why would I angry at somepony?" Lyra Interrupted.
"It's just a situation, I mean would you be mad if someone broke your harp or lyre thingy?" the unicorn had nodded in agreement, "See? Now with this baby, you can channel that energy into it and it would power up and somehow, against all laws of nature, it would calm you down based on what you do on this laptop. Say if you were doing positive things, it would give you positive energy, same thing happens the other way, that's where this might become a problem."
"According to you," Bon bon said, "your emotions depend on what actions you do on it? Kind of how Vinyl operates her DJ set?"
"Exactly!" Wow these ponies learn real quick "So," Flare queered, "rumor has it that there a lot more mares than stallions around here, is that true? And why?"
"Well, because either they had enrolled into the service or they had just simply enrolled into the service." Lyra explained
"What service?" Flare had a feeling that there is war going on, or there is a thing called the army.
"The royal guards." Lyra began, "they usually protect the princesses from some type of harm and they are your usual night patrol."
Well, home sweet home. They sure do have an army and Police, so much for chaos.
"Well, me and Bonnie are going to leave you for now because our time to visit you is up," Lyra said as she closed the door, "Bye!"
So now what brain?
The government here tends to be some kinda of royalty
Of course it is! But I see some kind of–
Communism or some kind of a dictatorship?
Well I wasn't going there but actually I see a problem. Its just that where is the king or queen of the land? But if the two are non-existent, then there should be a queen if there are only princesses.
We didn't have this problem back home, we had a democracy, with an actual leader. But sometimes the leader just went insane, and then it was havoc.
Still it was kind of strange how we had escaped from that one dictating country. But luckily we had used their one and only world transporting device, found this land, and then some new friends
Well we should just stop relaxing and start exploring!
If we can get up and start trotting if it physically possible.
