Slender Sickness

My life didn't turn out to have a happy ending, I'm not dead...But I'm confused why. And why I've ended up in this mental asylum.
My life was normal.....At first. I was a good kid when I was little. I got good grades, I hardly gave anyone trouble. Unless some one needed my attitude.
When I was older got a house to live in, I always payed the rent on time. I work at sugarcube corner so I can have a job and get payed.
I had friends....But I hardly see anyone now.
Then one day I bought this dark, thin suit and tie....I shouldn't have never even touched it. But I foolishly bought it anyway.
Then that's where we met.
And now I am claimed for homicide, they said I killed the cakes by ripping out their eyes and gutting them, and I am responsible for the Pumpkin Cake and Pound Cake's disappearance. And now I've ended up here...
But I know what happened. I saw him there and then. He stares at me without eyes. And his damned suit and tie still makes me sick.
But there was something of him that I found deep behind his blank face.
Chapter 1
Slender suit
I trot my way to sugarcube corner as the weather pegasi stomp on the rain clouds causing rain to fall....But it was suppose to be a rainy day I don't mind the weather. If my day is perfectly fine I know nothing could go wrong.
I continue trotting my way through the forest, I use the forest because I know a shortcut to get to work.
I have been working at sugarcube corner for three years. Because I can pay my rent, I've also moved here from manehatten to ponyville, I felt that manehattan had too many places to go and not enough room to live in, even though it has a big population like counterlot so I decided to move to a place like ponyville.
Well when there days where its not raining it usually looks quite nice. The nature looks peaceful and calm like it usually is.
Despite Equestria had discord run a muck a thousand years ago and a couple of yeas before now, then nightmare moon before all of that, and then the changling attack at counterlot, everything now seems to be in total harmony.
I thank the elements of harmony for doing that.
I was told a lot of myths when I was young. But since I was young I foolishly believed every singly word.
But myths aren't real....I've heard that some are, but I don't believe in myths.
Like ghost stories, I've read some they were good but I believed nothing will happen like that in real life.
I continue my trot through the forest as the rain falls on my body little by little the cold feeling of rain water falls on my body.
I left my rain coat at sugarcube corner yesterday. It was raining that day but it stopped at the afternoon. And I left it there because I rushed myself home so I could have some peace and freedom.
I do like working with Pinkie, she is always in a hyper, funny type of mood. I don't mind working with her. But she can be distracting sometimes.
Sometimes she talks to me a lot and I don't get enough work done. She Pinkie Pie promised that she wont do it much often.
And when she makes a Pinkie Pie promise...She promises, she keeps her word like if her life depends on it.
But she is a nice mare and a good friend. We've met when I first got here. Its a long story but memorable.
Goddess the rain is freezing today! I think to myself as I chatter my teeth as I continue my way to town.
I could see some houses so I'm nearly there. I look at some trees as they show their natural beauty.
But one tree caught my eye. I look at it as I continue trotting to my destination. But the three that I'm looking at it doesn't look like a normal tree.
Trees all look different but this one...It doesn't seem right. It looks a bit off and darker than the rest of the other trees.
It has this uncomfortable feeling every time I continue to look. It is like its watching my every move. Or like if its stalking me.
But another thing that's strange about it that it looks a bit like.....A pony?
I know that sounds insane, but it just looks similar to one....Like a very thin pony.
But I ignore it for now as I continue to my destination.
I started to feel nauseated like if I was about to vomit...I don't know why it just came outta nowhere.
"Maybe I should lay off Pinkie's double death by chocolate cupcake..." I said to myself in an unease tone
I finally got to sugarcube corner still freezing cold and wet from the rain, I was immediately greeted by a Pinkie Pie. She hugged me as tight as she could and showed me her biggest, happiest grin that could show.
"I'm so glad that you could make it here!" Pinkie said is such a happy tone.
"P-P-Pinkie c-c-an-n't y-you se-e-e tha-a-a-t-t I'm fre-e-ezing!?" I replied.
Pinkie then let go of me and blushed and grew an embarrassed smile.
"Opps...heh...Sorry Story..." Pinkie said.
"It's ok...Goddess why did the weather team had to make the rain cold? But anyway at least I'm at work....And less warm." I say as Pinkie giggled at the last part of my sentence.
"Yep Torchy you're sure are! So do I have to call you Coldy now?" Pinkie giggled.
"I prefer Story Ready." I replied to Pinkie's comment.
"But isn't 'story' everypony calls you?" Pinkie giggled to my comment.
"I know, but I usually like being called by my full name, but I don't mind if you call me that." I said
Pinkie giggled and skipped around, I was left shivering and using Pinkie's pink towel that she lend me to dry myself off.
"So how are the Cakes doing?" I asked the pink party pony.
"Well they're planning their 20th anniversary!" The pink pony skipped with laughter in her sentence.
"Cool so whats their anniversary about?" I asked.
"I didn't pay attention!" Pinkie said as she skipped around the place.
I was about to question her but I thought about her...Pinkieish humor, so I may get a Pinkie answer.
Ponies who live here or lived her for three years know about Pinkie and her behavior.
"So do you know where they are?" I asked.
"They're out shopping, and they said that tonight will be the party!"
"Let me guess, another Pinkie style party?" I asked but I knew the answer will be yes, but I'll get a whole different version of it.
Pinkie gasped when she heard my sentence and jumped at me with an surprised expression on her face.
"How did you know?!" Pinkie Pie asked with shock in her question.
"Usually we have Pinkie style patties a lot when you're around. And I had a Pinkie style party on my birthday last year." I replied answering her question.
"I know, but I really want to throw one this year but I don't wanna make the cakes angry at me." Pinkie said.
We then went to work with our usual ruteen. And the work was nauseating for me, but at least I was with a friend.
I found out of what the anniversary is about by finding a note on the counter, its about how long sugarcube corner has been around. And they planned the party here. And I still don't know where the cakes went but I guess Pinkie was suppose to tell me but she was too busy being....Well Pinkie.
I was even kinda glad to hear or 'read' about it. So I decided to wear something formal to their party. I'm not really interested in all the fancy dresses. I'm usually a tomboy, so I prefer suits and ties.
And something strange happens every time I look at the woods I got ringing in my ears and I heard faint static, like if the T.V. went static. But I ignored it thinking my long lasting nausea was messing with me. I may see a doctor about that if it doesn't stop.
But I just let it slide and focus on my work.
And my name 'Story Ready' well my cutie mark was a notebook and pencil because I wrote a story when I was twelve years old.
I usually write stories in first person view, but I'm not an official author of a book. I actually work with the news paper.
I work with the news paper in the winter, I work with Pinkie in the summer, I met her friends when the enter to get a cupcake or just say hi it was nice to meet them.
I also thought that getting two jobs well help me get paid more. It can be tough but there ain't shortcuts in life, and life didn't say it was always easy.

I finally finished work and this time I had to work longer for taking half of the day off. Well I didn't want to work today but later in I finally sucked it up and went my way in the rain and worked. Pinkie actually told me that and she did listen to Mr.Cake.
I don't understand Pinkie logic but if I were to understand it I would have to be like her to understand a crazy party pony could do in logic.
I trotted out of sugarcube corner and search for a tailor shop, I don't think Rarity could or is able to make me a suit and tie. Dresses are her thing so I wouldn't bother with her for that, even though she's the element or generosity I still don't think she could make me a suit.
And the rain is still falling, still cold like this morning.
I finally found a tailor shop so I entered in and started browsing.
A grey unicorn with a black mane and tail with glasses looked at me, he gave me a friendly smile as he saw me browsing his accessories that he has to offer to customers.
"Hello miss," He said. "What can I get for ya, a fancy dress? I've got one just for a mare like you." The stallion said, he trotted to some dresses on hangers and picked one out.
"How about this one?" The stallion showed me a nice white and pink dress.
I chuckled of his offer but I was looking for something else.
"Sorry sir, but I'm looking for a suit and tie." I said refusing his offer. The stallion chuckled and put the dress back and headed back to the cash register.
"Well you're one of those tomboy mares," He said with a small laugh.
"Go ahead and see what you like." The stallion pulled up a book and started reading.
So I search and looked for a nice suit and tie.
I found one that seemed what I was looking for.
It was thin, it was very nicely dark, and the tie seemed to be just the same colour.
Wanna play a game?
I picked up the suit, but it felt different than regular fabric. I just thought it was just the new fancy fabric.
But I looked at the price tag and at the back was written in permanent marker saying. 'wanna play a game? Buy the suit to play!'
I ignored it and thinked it was just a kid who was trying to mess with the tailor's stuff.
I then payed for it and when I was about to leave I saw an old picture with the tailor in front the woods, and I saw in the top right in front some chopped down trees was a tall thin pony wearing a suit and tie. And there seemed to be extra limbs coming from its back.
And the face seemed to be smudged out.
But since it was old and in black in white I thought there was something with the camera and some business pony seemed to walk in when the photo was taken.

I entered sugarcube corner with my suit and tie on, but still feeling like to vomit in front of everypony.
I saw a lot of relatives hanging around and talking and I saw some foals doing the same thing.
I looked at Pinkie Pie who seemed to be gloomy. "Goddess I hope she doesn't start talking to rocks." I said to myself.
I trotted to Pinkie Pie and looked at her.
"Pinkie whats wrong?" I said.
"Its soooooo boring that we weren't going to do a Pinkie Pie party!" She replied.
"Don't worry Pinkie there's always a next time, maybe tomorrow you can get a Pinkie party with all your friends you can invite!" I said trying to cheer her up.
Pinkie's ears perked up and smiled. "That's a great idea!" Pinkie Pie said as she defied the laws of physics and ended up where cupcakes were layed and started eating as many as she could.
It didn't help me still being nauseated, and it was also a shame that Pinkie's friends weren't here. But at least she can ave fun with them tomorrow.
I couldn't go on anymore I was too nauseated to continue being in the party. I told the cakes that I'm going home.
The understood and I made my way to my house.
The rain finally stopped and it was 12:30 pm, and I was tired.
I entered my house and hanged up my suit and tie and jumped on my couch. At least I felt a lot better.
I felt something liquid coming down my nose which woke my brief slumber.
My nose was bleeding!
I made a sigh and headed to my bathroom to wash it off.
I tried anything to stop the blood from coming out and the tallow was almost painted red.
It finally stopped in a hour and my sink was a mess and my tallow. I let the water run in the sink for a minute and I threw the tallow in the garbage because I didn't felt like washing it.
I trotted to my bedroom, and I heard the static and ringing again.
I turned around several times and nothing was happening but the static and ringing.
I turned to my bedroom door and I saw something standing right in the front of the entrance, And the static and ringing got louder.
And the thing was a pony wearing a black suit and tie....But no face. And it was way too tall for an average size of a earth pony. It was moving its head from side to side in impossible levels. And its body was also moving....
Like...
Static?
The other things that was confusing about the creature that it....It grew extra limbs.
I figured out that this thing is no pony.
I am no pony
Then my bed room door slammed shut.
I just stud there, seemingly stuck in a frozen trance of what I just saw.
I then snapped out of my trance and saw that thing was just a big prank just to screw with me.
I was infuriated and trotted to the bedroom door, ready to snap the pony's neck and make him learn not to mess with me.
I tried opening the door but it wouldn't open, there was no lock on it and which was confusing that doors with no lock attachments can't be locked.
I pulled as hard as I could, then the door just seemed to open by its self and throw me to the wall.
But I got up with a angry frown and with increased rage in my eyes and ready to beat the living buck out of whoever is messing me.
I entered and saw....
Nothing.
Everything was just normal. The windows weren't open and left like they were in the morning.
But I was tired and really not in the mood to deal with this now.
So I entered my bed and feel asleep.
