After the hotel the Wonderbolts were supposed to be staying in burns down, the pegasi stuntponies need to find shelter amongst the townsfolk of Appaloosa. Soarin' is taken in by the charms of a happy and chatty stallion, but when he finds that Braeburn's reasons for inviting him are more for staving off loneliness than trying to sell him apple-related baked goods, Soarin' offers to spend more than just the night.
