Stasis walked out of the door and into the sunlight, he looked around again and decided to head towards the town market. He trotted off in that direction, he took in the air and the sights around him, he saw a few ponies as he walked, he spotted a unicorn and earth pony chatting and laughing. The unicorn was a cyan color with a lyre on her flank, the other being a beige color with three bows. They didn't notice him as he passed, deciding not to intrude on anything he hadn't introduced himself. He arrived in the town market, and saw the many different vendors, one with an assortment of flowers, another with asparagus. The pony selling apples noticed him and started watching him, he didn't realize he was being watched and continued looking around at the other stands. After a bit of browsing he felt the eyes on him, he quickly glanced around to see if his suspicions were correct. He saw the orange filly with an apple on her flank behind the stand watching him, she waved for him to come talk.

"Howdy! Why don't y'all come over here fer a second?"
Stasis trotted over to the stand and smiled at her, trying to put her at ease, she seemed to be judging him.
"Hello, uh, my names Stasis, did I do something wrong?"
She looked confused before realizing her expression seemed to be rude, she smiled awkwardly and nodded. "Name's Apple Jack, sorry to bother you, but are y'all new? Ah can't say ah've seen y'all around. Y'all must be royalty, on account of the wings and horn, so why are y'all alone?"
"Oh, well, yes, I.. Am new here. I don't know anyone? That's why I'm alone."
"Okay... Where did y'all come from?"
"Uh, I can't remember."
Her face contorted to confusion again.
"Can't remember?.. That's mighty peculiar."
"Yeah, Twilight said it might be temporary amnesia, that I hit my head after a teleportation went wrong."
At the mention of her friend's name, she perked up. "Oh! Y'all know Twi? Well shucks, if y'all are friends you must be okay. Her friend is my friend."
She genuinely smiled and held out a hoof in greeting, he shook it in return.

Stasis's stomach suddenly growled, he smiled sheepishly and blushed. Apple Jack heard the sound and chuckled, seeing his reaction.
"Hungry partner?"
"Y-yeah."
"Well, would y'all like an apple?"
She holds out an apple to him. He looks at it and then to her.
"I don't have any money."
"It's fine sugarcube, it's on the house."
"I don't know.."
She tosses it to him, he flinches and closes his eyes as it comes to his face, after a few seconds he opened his eyes and looks at the apple in confusion. It is floating in the air with an energy radiating around it.
"W-what? How?"
She chuckles. "Yer using yer magic. Don't y'all know you could do that?"
"N-no.."
He goes to bite the apple and it stays the same distance from him, he gets frustrated and starts trying harder, chasing the apple. Apple Jack bursted out in laughter at the sight. After a moment Stasis looks over angrily and huffs. "How do I make it come towards me?!"
She calmed down and looked at him chuckling. "Y'all gotta make it come to yah."
"... How?"
"Concentrate? Ah don't know, I'm not a unicorn."

He looked at the apple and started trying to move it, it started to move away. "No!"
The apple slammed into his face with the outburst. Apple Jack started laughing hysterically, literally rolling on the ground. After making a scene with his antics Stasis got up, his face red with embarrassment, and looked at Apple Jack again. "I'm leaving."
Apple Jack gets up and composes herself. "Awh, y'all don't have to, I'm sorry fer laughin'."
"No, it's fine. I'm okay."
"Well, have another apple."
She hands him an apple, and he holds it before taking a bite. "Thank you."
"No problem sugarcube, well, I'm not gonna keep y'all here, see yah around."
He nods and hurriedly trots off.

After a few steps he is knocked over by a pony that was running, he looked up and saw the pink pony.

Sorry for disappearing for so long. This story was supposed to be done by now. I'm sorry for anyone that cares, I had a busy end of the school year and was gone all summer. I lost all the chapters I had written on my other computer, sadly. Hopefully I'll be able to make new chapters often.
