1000 years ago, the Pegasus Mare Moonlight Gleam, served the princess of the night faithfully, and was her closest friend. But when the jealousy overcame her princess and she became twisted into Nightmare Moon, it was up to Moonlight Gleam to warn Princess Celestia and to help the remaining princess stop her friend from bringing eternal night.
1000 Years later, Nightmare Moon escaped from her prison and was purified by the Elements of Harmony. The newly purified Princess Luna finds Midnight Star, the only descendent of Moonlight Gleam, her old friend. But the princess may have also found something else within Midnight Star……
