(Story takes place about 25 years after current events in the series)

Pipsqueak has everything he could want out of life. He's married to the most beautiful mare alive, he has a daughter who loves him, he's the captain of his own ship, and he's even friends with the Moon Goddess. Life is awesome.

While returning from the distant land of Antlerantis Pipsqueak's ship is attacked by a strange storm, killing almost everypony aboard. Pipsqueak is struck by a bolt of lightning just as the ship is going down, but instead of being killed, he is transported to an ocean on the opposite side of the world. Upon discovering what happened, he vows not to rest until he has returned home to his wife and child. Such vows are easier made than achieved though. Does a young stallion from Ponyville really have what it takes to survive the strange trials of the Endless Ocean, especially when those trials seem far too coincidental to be coincidence?

And what about back home? Will Sweetie Belle wait for her beloved even when everypony around her says he is dead? Will Tea Leaf sit back and accept that her father is dead? And what about the vast amounts of wealth Pipsqueak left to his family. What sort of stallions will come after it now that Pipsqueak is out of the way, and what will they be willing to do to get it?
