Rarity
The music blared out through the expensive gramophones, filling the far side of the room with the latest in popular beats. The light yellow DJ in charge bobbed her head in time to the music, and the ponies on the dance floor dipped and danced, some alone, and many with partners. Most did it quite haphazardly, for they were here for much the same reason you were.
You were at "The Horses' Draught", the latest business to start up in Ponyville as the local economy grew. In this case, it was a bar, aimed at the higher class residents and tourists. On this day, however, the whole town had turned up, and you were drawn there in the same way they were - cheap drinks. A bit a bottle for the really cheap stuff.
Still, it didn't help that, looking around, everypony here was either dancing with at least one other over on the dancefloor, or in the throes of conversation in the marginally quieter area of the room you were in. It was no surprise that you were alone in that way, really, as a relatively new arrival to the town - or indeed universe - and a completely different species. Your dexterous, powerful hands came in very useful for gripping your bit's worth of sweet oblivion, though.
The proprietress, a dark orange pony with a stylised wine glass stamped on her flank, had her work cut out, serving pony after pony and raking in the bits. The local economy was booming thanks to the efforts of many local businesses starting to expand outwards and putting Ponyville back into the vocabulary of the land. Between Sweet Apple Acres' exports and Rarity's Boutique selling designs across the land, everyone from the high-class in Canterlot to the nothing-specials in Manehatten knew where the place was.
It'd done wonders for you, too, the local spa was getting more business than ever, and your capable, agile hands could reach places no hoof could ever hope to reach. Of course, being the best masseuse in Equestria wasn't a difficult task when the only other creatures with anything like hands had claws or talons, but the ponies didn't know any better, and were more than happy to throw bits in your general direction in return for having their stresses and pains kneaded away.
A clatter and the screech of a failing record player drew your attention over to the far side of the room, now in disarray as the multicoloured pile of ponies strewn around the floor tried to pick themselves up, and the DJ hid behind one of her large speakers. A voice echoed through the now-silent room, "Ow, sorry!", followed by a nervous laugh. Rainbow Dash. Anypony in town could have told you that giving Rainbow Dash large amounts of alcohol was a bad idea.
The silence was broken by a quiet sigh from behind you, and soon the room was alive with talking once more.
"I simply do not know what to do with that Pegasus sometimes", you overheard from behind you. A well-practised, classy voice, clearly from some dignitary from up in the capital. You tried not to overhear too much, not wanting to be rude, but the voice seemed quite insistent on not being ignored, almost as if it was talking to you and you alone. Which was absurd, of course, you didn't really know anybody properly, and those ponies you did were too busy dancing the night away, or in Berry Punch's case, drinking heavily in a corner.
A wine glass slid onto your table and wiggled, catching your attention, before whisking itself back behind you. Your eyes, and then head, and then body, followed its path around you and over to a table a few meters away, where a white unicorn sat, her purple mane seeming to flow up her body and into her head. Her head, which was pointed straight at you with an expecting gaze.
"Honestly, I've been talking to you for minutes now, I certainly don't appreciate being ignored!", the alabaster mare whined, "but luckily for you I am in a good mood, so I shall forgive you."
The wine glass, by this point, had settled on the opposite end of her table, opposite her own glass. Well, regardless of the company, you knew better than to turn down a free drink, so you made your way over and sat down opposite her and introduced yourself.
"Pleased to meet you, I'm Rarity", she announced, putting emphasis on her name as if you aught to immediately know who she was. You did, of course, she was practically a local celebrity. It surprised you that she was out alone, though, especially given that her beauty was staggering and unmatched, at least around Ponyville. She laughed at the compliment, graciously accepting it and taking a sip of her wine. "Well, that's really quite simple, I'm celebrating! I finished a big order earlier, and when my friends invited me to this... place, I thought 'why not, it could be fun!' Of course, my dear friends are already quite drunk, leaving me here quite alone. And then I saw you, also quite alone! Perhaps we could solve each other's problems."
You had to admit, you never expected the great shining light of Ponyville's hopes to be quite so... bitchy. Neither did she, apparently, as she immediately apologised, "Oh, listen to me go on, I'm quite happy for them to enjoy themselves, this just isn't... oh, how did Rainbow put it? 'My scene'? Loud music and cheap drinks might be enough for someponies, but some of us have standards!"
Apparently she was incapable of not being just a little bitchy even after catching herself doing it, but for some reason you didn't much mind. Most ponies of her attitude and stature were so fake, smiling faux-smiles through a self-imposed veil of polite words, but Rarity seemed different. You could see it in her eyes, the glimmer and glint as she spoke as if she really cared about your reaction, and wasn't just using you to kill time like so many others would. You could see it in her face, in the way her expression changed and flowed naturally, not between false faces designed to make others think she was paying attention. Most wouldn't notice, but most people hadn't spent the past several months becoming incredibly intimate with the equine form.
"But that's enough about little old me, tell me about you! I've seen you around town, so dark and mysterious, but I'm always in such a rush that I simply haven't found time to stop by, and, bless her little hooves, Fluttershy is a little scared of you, so a massage in our visits is simply out of the question! But here you are now, and I'm all ears"
Her lack of falsity didn't falter, and she honestly seemed interested, so you began. You didn't know what she knew, so you told her the lot, about your work, where you lived, and a little about where you were before, though your entire life story would have taken more time than either of you had. Rarity nodded and "Mm-hm"'d as appropriate throughout the whole thing, waiting until you finished.
"So you're telling me that you wear those clothes every day?!", she questioned immediately, as if it were absurd you'd been unable to find more clothes that would fit you. Never mind any interesting questions about your past life, or how you're finding it here in Ponyville, straight to the clothes. She quite clearly was a seamstress at heart. "No no no, that simply won't do, I won't allow it. Let's finish up this bottle and I'll start taking measurements, you shan't leave without some decent clothing"
Both of you looked down at the bottle. It was empty, both of you absent mindedly drinking as you'd chatted. You hadn't even noticed. "Well then.", Rarity deadpanned, "Let's go"
Rarity couldn't leave without saying goodbye to her friends, and managed to make it to the dancefloor with a minimum of knocking things over. Managing to catch the attention of her friends, interrupting Dash's barely-planned swoops and turns and Twilight's... spasms in what probably constituted a dance for the two of them to tell them she was off home, but that she hoped they had a fantastic night. She didn't bother telling Pinkie, finding her and Berry snoozing gently against each other surrounded by bottles. Pinkie never could let somebody be lonely.
Then you were away, out into the chilled night air and leaving the loud music alone. The silence was deafening, and both of you said nothing to enjoy it. Loud music and cheap drinks wasn't really your scene either. Though you'd shared the bottle, Rarity's diminutive size worked against her and she was having a little trouble walking in an entirely straight line, and spent most of the short journey to her home leaning against your leg.
"Now, what sort do you want? I can do everything from casual to classy, it's really no trouble!"
Much as you didn't want to take advantage of her generosity, you had to admit, some more practical clothing would be excellent. Rainy days were the bane of your life, almost always leaving you soaked through and without a helpful sun to dry your sodden clothing, though occasionally a stray Pegasus took pity on you and poked a little hole in the clouds. Occasionally.
"Practical. Have you been talking to Applejack? Oh well, never mind, I can do practical, and I shall, it's really no bother at all!" she announced to the air, seemingly talking to herself as much as you. Reaching her boutique, Rarity swung the door open and motioned for you to go inside, flooding the interior with light.
"Right! Now, get those old things off right now, and stand up here", she commanded, pointing at her little podium and pulling out a tape measure from under a small pile of fabric.
"Come on now, don't be shy, in case you hadn't noticed I'm naked almost all the time, there's absolutely nothing to hide here!" she impatiently complained after several seconds of motionlessness. You certainly had noticed, you thought to yourself, remembering how you'd tried to lag behind Rarity on your short journey here so you could admire her without her noticing. You couldn't help but wonder what that gorgeous white flank would look like tainted pink from a night's rough slapping.
"Oh my, settle down, you", she laughed, "a lady would never do those things"
"on a first date"
You hadn't thought that to yourself. You silently cursed that half-bottle of wine while what seemed like every drop of blood in your body rushed to your cheeks, setting them alight with the pure force of embarrassment. On the other hand, she seemed more amused by it than shocked, a surprise considering her overbearingly ladylike attitude.
At her insistence, you began to strip, leaving your old, smelly clothes in a messy pile on her clean, tidy, perfect floor. Walking over and hopping onto the podium, your blush grew deeper as you realised you were standing completely naked right in front of Rarity, and your earlier thoughts had not gone unnoticed by your libido. Apparently not noticing, Rarity snapped the tape measure taught in front of you and held it at your side, climbing up a conveniently placed stepladder to measure your full height. Nodding and letting out a satisfied "Mm-hm", she stepped down and looked at you.
Jabbing you with the end of her horn, she sternly told you to "lift those arms, I need to measure your chest". Pulling the tape measure tight around you, she climbed up onto the podium to get a better look at the exact measurement, again nodding as she noted it down. "Arms down, please" she commanded, still standing by your side. The only place your hand could rest was on the back of her mane, something she didn't seem to mind, or indeed notice, at all.
"And now around the stomach!", she whispered, trailing the tape measure around you, before grabbing the end in her mouth and pulling it taught, rubbing her soft white coat slowly over your skin. Her body heat sunk into yours as her graceful, silky-smooth fur pressed into you, contrasting the freezing cold tape measure she was squeezing you with. She nodded again, moving her mane against your hand and leg, and snaked the tape measure free.
"Just a few more now, dear, don't worry - you shan't be bored much longer" she whispered up to you, holding the top of the tape measure at your hip and taking the other end in her muzzle, pulling it down your leg slowly and sensually. In time with the movement of her face, her tail wrapped itself around your other leg, and stroked downwards. Quickly noting down the length with a curious "Hmm", she looked up at you.
"Just one"
She straightened the tape measure out.
"Last"
Positioned it behind you.
"Thing"
And pulled it between your legs, snapping it closed and taking the final measurement. Her measurement style had not left you unexcited, a fact it was futile to attempt hiding, but shaming all the same. You slunk away to put your clothes back on, but found her hoof holding you back.
Laughing, Rarity shook her head, "My dear, I think it's best if we burn those. You can stay here tonight, I shall get started in the morning, and you shall leave looking and feeling fabulous. My bedroom is through that door, third on the right, and there's plenty of room for both of us. Just give me a minute to clean up here and, ah, dispose of your... clothing, and I'll be right with you."
That not being an invitation you could, or would dare to, refuse, you wandered through to the dimly lit back rooms of the shop. Sure enough, Rarity's bedroom was the third door on the right, and it swung open almost effortlessly - until it hit the mess that coated almost every square inch of the room, save for a small passage to the bed and room for the door to half-open. Materials, tools, sheets of paper with unique, unfinished, or esoteric designs, and things you couldn't place. You're fairly sure you saw a half-eaten sandwich somewhere under there. This must be somebody else's room. Rarity hadn't mentioned anybody else living here, but somebody must, this disorder doesn't match what you know of Rarity at all.
"Is there a problem, dear?", you hear from behind you, Rarity's head poking around the door and waiting for you to continue on so she could squeeze in. "Yes, yes, I know, it's a little bit of a mess in here, but I assure you, I know where everything is. Look, there's the new designs, over there is my ideas center, there's a snack, and the important thing for tonight is my bed, there. Go, shoo."
Carefully finding your way across the "organised chaos" ("It is!", she indignantly replied to your humoured questioning) to her bed, you clambered in, finding its impressively large size quite adequate, even for your larger human form. Scooting along to the far side, you watched as Rarity tutted and made the bed, straightening the duvet on top of you, before sliding in herself, somehow managing to avoid wrinkling the sheets as she went. Her soft, high pitched grunts as she lowered herself inside, however, didn't go unappreciated, and soon the duvet above you rose up, becoming more wrinkled.
Rarity didn't seem to notice, facing away from you and lightly resting her head on the pillow. She whispered "Good night" and promptly fell silent. Asleep. After all that teasing, she'd fallen asleep. In the same bed, less than a foot away. You had resigned yourself to a night of accompanied loneliness when you heard an impatient "Mm-hm?" and found her staring straight at you. "You may hold me, if you wish, I believe that is quite acceptable for a first date"
A first date! It had been, you supposed, the two of you had gotten along quite well back at the bar. Strange for an event you had such low expectations of had resulted in this, lying in bed next to one of the classiest and most famous mares in all of Ponyville, with one arm over her and one arm under her. It felt glorious. Her chest lightly rose and fell around you, and her tail rested comfortably between you, luckily ensuring she wasn't made aware of just how excited you were to be this close. Falling asleep in the face of such excitement was difficult, but eventually you managed, drifting off into a warm, fuzzy oblivion filled with sweet dreams and sweeter smells.
You awoke, many hours later, as the thin gap between Rarity's shutters let in a small wedge of blinding light from the morning sun, directly into your sleepy eyes. Rarity had yet to awaken, still lying in your arms and resting against your chest. Her scent filled the air, some implacable mixture of expensive smelling ointments and mixtures; it was heavenly. Her soft mane had lost its perfectly sculpted shape overnight, and lay slightly disjointed between the two of you, providing a perfect place to rest your head and bask in her presence until she awoke.
The unstoppable march of daylight brought the thin stripe of light over the two of you, eventually passing over Rarity's slumbering form and lightly prompting her awake. "Mmm, morning already? Oh, my head, why didn't you stop me drinking last night?"
Before you could complain about being blamed for her drinking her own bottle of wine, she'd wiggled out of bed, carefully making her way out of the room looking dishevelled and untidy, and decidedly less chipper than she was the night before. As if you were an afterthought, she called behind herself as she left, "Oh, do make yourself at home, I'll just be in the bathroom a while. There's plenty in the kitchen."
The sound of the bathroom door swinging shut resonated around the house, and you found yourself in silence. Grumbling and pulling yourself out of her bed, you looked around for your clothes, before realising that they probably didn't exist any more. Grumbling harder, you nakedly made your way to her kitchen and searched the draws and cupboards, eventually locating a bowl, some cereal, and a spoon. You weren't sure why unicorns used spoons instead of just picking the food up with their horns, but you were too hungry to care, quickly pouring yourself a bowl and greedily eating it down.
What do you do in somebody else's house, you wondered after you finished, sitting there quite bored. You'd already cleaned your bowl, dried it, and put it back, like you were never there at all, but apart from that you had very little to do. Being naked, you couldn't even go into the front of the boutique for fear of being spotted by an early-bird, or Rainbow Dash who seemed to sleep so much that the time of day was irrelevant to her anyway.
Your thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a door opening, followed immediately by the sound of Rarity humming a familiar but implacable tune. She trotted through to the kitchen and grabbed exactly what you'd had for breakfast as she sat down. It seemed like as good a time as any to ask why exactly she needed that spoon. "Why do you need one? Using my horn would be simply barbaric, darling, I am not a barbarian, I am a lady. Now, go on, go clean up, I'm not having you dirty the clothes I make for you before you've even left my store"
Obediently, you rose and went to check out her bathroom. The walls were made of cosmetics, or so it seemed, with every spare inch used to house a different kind of gel, makeup, goo, or scrub. Walking out of the room in confusion, you went to ask which you should use, but before you'd gotten halfway down the corridor you heard her voice waft over at you, "I left one out for you, use that. Not too much, it's very expensive but very good"
Sure enough, there was one thing set out on the sink, and luckily her shower proved much simpler to use. You performed the best clean you could in easily a third of the time Rarity took, and emerged wrapped in a slightly undersized towel, happy at your regained modesty.
"Through here, darling, don't be shy", she called from the front of the shop, "I have some clothes for you to try." You rushed through, eager to cover yourself once more, and found Rarity holding a brand new, if slightly rough, set of clothes, for you to inspect. Pulling each piece on, following the absolutely correct order of underwear, socks, pants, and then shirt, you tried them. The material was clearly very high quality, feeling like silk against your skin, but being very warm - though not too warm, even inside Rarity's well heated house.
"Go on, give me a spin", she insisted, watching as you turned and noting down the imperfections and saggy areas. "Now, this is only a prototype, give me a few hours and I'll have a proper range all sewed up and you'll be the envy of the town, I assure you."
You couldn't accept that, even to your untrained touch it was clear that this material alone was worth more than a week's paycheck - you couldn't possibly repay her, or ask her to waste such valuable material on you. "Don't be silly, I don't want your money. All of this is leftover, if you don't use it Sweetie Belle will make dolls or... something out of it, and that WOULD be a waste. Plus it looks simply divine on that figure of yours"
Even so, you couldn't ever repay her. She sighed at your continued resistance, and pulled off her glasses. "How about you pay for tonight's dinner, and we'll call it even, hm? Now, please, leave me to my work and come pick me up tonight.", she said as she opened the door and shooed you out with a magically animated sewing needle before you could object.
You really couldn't believe your luck - a beautiful, talented, successful woman not only making you something practically impossible to find or buy, but also telling you in no uncertain terms you were taking her on another date. It was going to make the day's work almost unbearable.
Thankfully, Lotus knew a lot about the local restaurants, knew the owners, and liked you enough to pull a few strings and get you a table at the fanciest place in town - as well as giving you your wages in advance (But don't tell Aloe) so you could properly woo Rarity. After a whole day of watching the agonisingly slow clock tick its lengthy journey to "tonight", you eventually ended for the day, thanking Lotus again as the two of you closed up, and you headed off home for some last minute preparations.
Emerging a while later, cleaned up and carrying a bouquet of flowers, you knew it was time, and headed over. You knocked on the door, and waited. "Who is it? I'm about to close, do be quick!" shouted Rarity. Abandoning your plans to romantically proffer the flowers as she opened the door, you entered and saw her hard at work. You cleared your throat to announce your presence, and held out the flowers for her to see when she turned.
"Oh, it's you! So sorr- flowers? For me? Oh, isn't that just adorable, thank you so much. I know what I'm having for breakfast tomorrow! Your clothes are in that pile, give me just a few moments to put these in water and then whisk me away!" With that, she gently pulled the bouquet from your grip and headed into the back. The aforementioned pile was several outfits thick, in a variety of colours, each more fashionable than the last, but all quite practical. Rarity had clearly put a lot of effort into them, shaming you slightly at how little preparation you'd managed to pull together for the meal.
"Right! Now, where to?" she asked, pulling on a thick, patterned coat before opening the door and stepping outside. "Don't worry about your clothes, you can take them in the morning, now come, where are you taking me?"
Rarity's stylish, classy, constant flaunting of her sexuality was more than enough to get you flustered and put you off your game. Your reservation at the local 'Chéz Hay', however, bolstered your self-confidence. Lotus had assured you that there wasn't a mare in the land that wouldn't be head-over-hooves at the prospect.
Leading her onwards, you ignored Rarity's requests and demands that you tell her "where, exactly, are we going? Am I underdressed? Overdressed? Oh, my image hangs in the balance!"
Still nothing, not telling. She'll simply have to wait and see - you enjoyed the slight feeling of power it gave you. Eventually she stopped asking nicely, and started rubbing against your leg as you walked, complaining that she was tired and she wasn't wearing the right horseshoes for long walks, so "would you PLEASE just tell me where we're going already?" No, no you would not.
Chéz Hay wasn't, thankfully, too far away, and as you turned the final corner and it came into view, you heard a surprised "ooh!" from behind you and a little excited jumping, which you pretended not to notice. "Oh, I love this place, I almost never get an excuse to come here! How did you know? Oh, you must try their hay soup, it is simply divine!"
Rarity's verbal gushing continued as you made your way there and were seated - a 2 seater table in the darker part of one of their rooms, lit by candle. Very classy, and isolated.
The menus were hoof-made on high quality paper, the writing small, but fine and legible. Unnecessary, however, as Rarity had plenty of suggestions - she assured you the hay soup was nicer than it sounded, and even with your inability to digest grass it was full of other ingredients. It also came with bread. Rarity had the same, unwilling to risk an inadequate meal on a first proper dinner date, and clearly hinting that she hoped the two of you could repeat it and be a little more adventurous next time. Rarity ordered a glass of red wine each, hers considerably smaller than yours. No repeats of last night.
Service was fast, and you had to admit Rarity was right, the soup was delicious and contained surprisingly little hay - what was there was easily lifted out with a wave of Rarity's horn as she pulled it into her own bowl. The meal went well, the two of you chatting about your days - she'd quickly finished your clothing and moved on to her next big order. It didn't have to be finished for quite some time, but being proactive never hurt anypony. Your day was much the same as any other, you lied, filled with massages and scented baths and many other things you didn't pretend to understand, just did.
Rarity nodded and made noises in all the right places - either she was legitimately interested in what you had to say, or she was very good at faking it. It seemed more like the first every word - Rarity had nothing to gain from you, she was richer, more famous, more skilled, more socially active, and so many other things. It could only be legitimate. Your interest in her was, of course, legitimate - she was beautiful, intelligent, with an enthusiasm and drive for her art, a generous personality and an air of class. Who wouldn't be attracted to that?
The discussion was made more difficult by Rarity's continued brushing against your leg, both from her tail and occasionally one of her back hooves. Her expression didn't change as she did it, remaining an intense, but expressive and responsive stare with a slight smile.
Before long, dinner was over, and the waiter promptly brought the bill. You hoped to Celestia that Rarity couldn't see how white your face went when you saw the figure on the paper, but it'd be worth it, you hoped. Paying, and leaving your pockets considerably lighter, the two of you left.
"Oh my, it is *quite* late, isn't it. I couldn't possibly let you walk home in the cold, you simply must stay the night. I'm sure I can keep you warm" she said, somewhere above a whisper but below her normal voice. An invitation you certainly wouldn't think of refusing. Making your way back to the boutique, Rarity kept the edge of her tail trailing against the back of your thigh, the thin (yet warm) fabric transferring the sensation of her touch very efficiently. "Come on, let's get inside and get warm", she whispered as she opened the door and motioned for you to enter.
The bright lights that had greeted you the night before remained dormant as Rarity closed the door, leaving the room only lit by the starlight coming in from the few windows scattered along the walls. "Now, I think you'll find I haven't given you your clothes yet, they're still mine. You really should remove them, unless you want to risk insulting a lady" she quietly said in a low whisper, her semi-closed eyes and focussed gaze giving a rather more heated message - but the same. Get those clothes of right this instant.
You struggled out of your clothes and threw each item onto the floor, laughing quietly as Rarity caught them, folded them, and put them next to the rest of the pile, never breaking her intense gaze. In no time at all, the gorgeous silken sensation of her clothes rubbing against your skin was replaced by the chill of being exposed to the air, and you began to shiver.
"I really don't know why you humans don't have a coat, they're very useful. Come, share mine" she commanded, pulling over her fainting couch and lying back on it, wrapping her tail up over herself to retain a little modesty, and beckoning you over with a hoof. "You may kiss it", she said insistently, wiggling it in front of you. Kneeling down, you complied, taking her lower leg in your hand and planting a light kiss on the tip of her hoof. It was hard, but not completely solid - still quite unlike her leg, covered in a thin coat of hair and with a lot of give, just like you'd expect flesh to be. The hoof clearly had feeling, and strong feeling, as Rarity melted under your touch - a position you were quite used to having mares in from your job, though usually you were more interested in their money than their body. Not so tonight.
Taking advantage of Rarity's temporary weakness as she closed her eyes and sighed, you darted forward, bringing your head to hers. As her eyes opened once more, she saw yours heading at her, moments before your lips touched hers and pulled them apart, and your tongue slithered inside her mouth. Hers momentarily resisted, but you pushed on, overpowering her weak resistance and taking control. Her eyes slid shut once more as she abandoned herself to your touch, sighing into your mouth as you ran your tongue around her and took in her sensation.
Kissing Rarity was... indescribable. Her mouth, far from being uncomfortable, was perfectly shaped to fit around another, your two heads almost meshing into one you were that close. Your lips could freely move over each others without ever breaking the seal, and her head was perfectly shaped to hold in your hand as your embrace continued for what seemed like minutes.
Reluctantly breaking away, both of you heavily gasped and breathed in unison, starved of oxygen from your lengthy connection, and stared into each other's eyes. Neither could talk, but nor did you feel the need, Rarity's lusty eyes speaking more than words ever could. She wanted it, right there, right then. The fire in her eyes raged more strongly than you'd seen it before, and she leaned forward towards you, raising herself from the chair.
"Forgive my lack of tact, dear, but it's quite clear what I want, and I do hope you're not planning to disappoint me" she whispered, flexing her squiggly tail and wrapping it around one of your wrists. She pulled you in, leaving your hand to rest on the side of her flank, and laid her head back down onto her fainting sofa. You couldn't resist giving her perfect ass a tight squeeze, feeling her silken fur slip beneath your fingers and the impassioned warmth flow through you from her skin. The ass itself would be reward enough, but the slight moan it pushed from between Rarity's lips was like honey to your ears, her practised accent slipping slightly as her voice was used to communicate raw feeling, not her usual ideas or ideals.
