Well hello there, my names Pompolio, I am a gnome. What did you say, "Why is a gnome in a fanfic about ponies?" Better learn your history stupid, if you don't want to be confused at least. But anyway, I'm here to introduce the setting and some tidbits about the story. There is a town far away Ponyville. Just like there are other places where ponies live. There are good ponies here, and there are bad ponies here. The ones we're going to focus on are three ponies, and a few others, don't want to spoil them now do we?
The place where I live is a good one, it's called Bullsville. Good place to live, main export is hay. Good prime stuff, it's a bit much for me. Though I do like a good apple now and then. It's a really diverse place too, we got donkeys, Minotaur's, unicorns, and seaponies, nasty people those seaponies. Oh I almost forgot to tell you about the people. There's the mayor, a unicorn, Opal Query, weird name I know, good fella, cutey mark is a pile of neatly stacked paper. There's Gimbo, a dumb Diamond Dog, that protects the village, but lives outside of it. Flora, a dragon, bakes things, she lives in the forest. Scoodle and Noodle, two pegasus sisters who run the airways around the village. Directing traffic and looking for threats. The last guys I'll mention are the Crabino brothers, two Crabnasties who live in a canyon to the south of the town.
The three ponies that I'll be intro- Well that's actually kind of lazy isn't it. Well now let's just start the chapter by saying that one pegasus is a gassy fatass, one is filled with RAGE, and the last one is super shy when not with her real friends, almost heart breakingly antisocial, can hardly even speak t- I realized I'm making her sound like the most interesting one. Anyway let's start the chapter at a meeting of friends.

"See I told you he'd let us clean the house Shortfuse." A black pony said smooshed up against her her red colored friend. Said friend looked angry as another pony found the light switch, turning it on and revealing that there were in a very enclosed space. Various cleaning supplies lined the walls and the smell of soap wafted up and around them.
"You didn't say he'd lock us in the CLEANING closet!" She struggled around and found herself face to face with a tan pony with a green cloud filled with beans that showed on her flank. "Plus I really don't feel safe in an small space with gassy mgee around."
"You know Mr. Hanor can't see well, he probably got confused." She said, the pony she was talking to had a cutie mark that was just a very, very, very angry face with a short, lit fuse coming out of its head.
"I get my smelliness out in the morning, so shut it, Shortfuse." She glared at her friend and the black pony spoke up.
"I don't feel safe either Beanbombs. We could all die in here if you let one loose." Beanbombs gave a gasp and shifted herself to face the friend who had betrayed her as well.
"Well I never Timid Eclipse, will all my friends betray me now?" Shortfuse tried to adjust once more.
"Your fat ass isn't helping either." Beanbombs glared at her and tried to look angry. She couldn't stay angry at Shorfuse, mainly because she sucked it all the anger away. Like an anger succubus. Her stomach growled and both of them looked up at her, trying to move away at the same time.
"Oh come on, this isn't cartoons guys. I'm perfectly fine." Her stomach growled again, this time with more intensity. Her two friends began to call out to the old man who owned this house.
"Mr. Hanor, let us out, do you want us to die?" Timid Eclipse said, trying to bang on the door so the old man could here her.
"I don't want to die like this Mr. Hanor, please let us out." Shortfuse yelled, struggling more.
"Stop struggling, you two, I'm sure Mr. Hanor is coming to get us any second now." Beanbombs said confidently, knowing that the hard of hearing pony would take a while to get the right key.
"Let's go clean up for Mr. Hanor you said, it'll be faster if we did it together you said." Shortfuse huffed angrily at Timid Eclipse, who only weakly smiled back. "I swear to the dragons up above that whenever we try to fucking help this guy, something like this always happens." Beanbombs giggles and then snorts.
"Remember when he asked us to get his kitten down from his tree and it was actually a dragon, which he had somehow kept it for weeks." Shortfuse doesn't laugh at this.
"Yes I do and it tried to eat me. Not particularly fun time, I almost had to choke it. With myself, good thing it didn't try to chew." A stifled laugh came out of Timid Eclipse's mouth. "What's so funny?"
"Calm down, angry pants. I was just remembering the goofy surprised look on the dragons face when you stopped in it's throat. You're just lucky it wasn't a fire breather." Shortfuse rolled her eyes.
"A little fire wouldn't have stopped me." They all said in unison, Shortfuse had exclaimed that so much that she really didn't need to say it anymore. A small click was heard and they all sighed in relief, though Beanbomb's friends both shot her looks when she sighed.
"Really now, I'm not even remotely gassy, and you guys freak out at a sigh." She shakes her head and turns away from them as the old mans voice is heard.
"Now I apologize for locking you fine young ladies in here." Beanbomb felt good about this comment, while the other two felt nothing at all, they had been around and knew his ways. Mr. Hanor was like that, always giving compliments. "But I don't wanna be opening this closet up if it's gonna be all smelly." Shortfuse laughed at this and Beanbomb slouched as much as she could.
"No Mr. Hanor, it's fine." Hidden Eclipse said giggling a bit as well.
"Call me Scat Beat please." He opened the door and they tumbled out showing his cutie mark to the girls, a a mouth filled with boops and sceetaleedows. "Now are you girls ready to clean?" He asked as they looked around, but the house already looked clean.
"Uh Scat Beat, the house is spotless?" Beanbombs said more of a question than a statement. Shortfuse sniffed the air and her nose scrunched. She smelled someone she didn't like, midst the smell of soap and pony, she smelled someone she hated.
"Well Mr. Hanor, all done, it was honor to help you." A cheery voice, almost hiding her gloating. She trotted in and they all stared at her. Her name was Twinkly Sunshine, an alicorn, and her friends brought up the rear. Hayshower, a pony, Lollipopper, a unicorn, Valiant Copper, a male Pegasus, Jump Start, a male unicorn, Diamond Beauty, a pony, and Honorbound, the Pegasus who guards Twinkly Sunshine.
"I'll go get you guys some drinks." He said walking away slowly, scatting and beat boxing his way out.
"Oh, I didn't know you guys were here." She says surprised at seeing them. Shortfuse had her suspicions.
"Oh yeah sure, I definitely believe you. Did you sing a song while doing it too?" She glared at them.
"Why yes we did." Valiant said, his cutey mark was copper colored lance and shield. "It was fun, is something wrong with having fun, umm, whatever your name is, angry pony?" She almost flew into a rage then she saw Hidden Eclipse. She was being talked by Jump Start, who was too talkative for his own good. That's exactly what his cutey mark said about him, a mouth with a bunch of blah's coming out of it.
"Hey, you," Shortfuse rushed over to him, before Hidden Eclipse started to hyperventilate, "back off speed mouth." She got in the middle of them, and Jump Start looked at her angrily.
"I was just talking to her, and it's Jump Start, Shortfuse." He said it nastily, almost spitting on her name." You know she could learn a thing or two from me. She really needs to learn how to talk to people more, and look them in the eye. I kept trying to ask her name, but she started to breath pretty heavy and then I started to try and ask her what was wrong, and then-" Honorbound covered his mouth and shushed him. He just rolled his eyes. He backed off and went back over by Twinkle Sunshine.
"Shortfuse, let's just go. I don't think Hidden Eclipse can deal with these people anymore." Beanbombs whispered. Motioning to the the door, and then to Hidden Eclipse, who was breathing heavily and was trying to shrink away from them. She noticed Twinkly Sunshine was staring at her, but she decided to ignore it the best she could.
"Sorry about that Shortfuse. Sometimes Jump Start doesn't know when to shut up." Hoonorbound stares at her with a serious face. Shortfuse stared back. Hidden Eclipse and Beanbombs were at the door and ready to leave.
"Yeah well maybe... you should tell him not to talk to her that much, not trying to be mean or anything." She said trying to change her face to an un-angry one. "You know how she is, right sis?" She said trotting away to where her friends were. The seven of them looked as the other three left the old mans home.
"What a bunch of weirdo's." Diamond Beauty said nudging Lollipopper. Who was sucking on her newest lollipop. She had them strapped around her leg.
"They're not too bad. I don't know them personally, though I don't like Shortfuse, she's too angry all the time, she harshes my mellow." Hayshower nods and thinks for a second.
"I remember Shortfuse and Beanbomb, I think they both got in fights with me. Shortfuse because she tore up my drawing, and Beanbomb because she passed gas by me one time. Where else am I remembering her from?" She then looked over at Twinkly Sunshine and realized where.
"Yes," noticing Hayshower's realization, "she ruined my crowning ceremony, and I will NEVER forgive her."
