Chapter 5

A noise coincidentally a train cease withdrawn besides the station of Canterlot. Once the doors opened, ten hoofsteps scramble out and aimed straight towards the castle. There was no time to waste.

As shortly as they arrive at the castle opening, there are some royal guards, the lunar guards due to it being night, had waited for them.

The lunar guards urgently directed them to the throne room. Once there, the princes and princesses were already waiting on them.

Dusk Shine was the first to inform the gods and goddesses about Pinkie’s other personality and is in Canterlot to aid Berry breakout from the asylum.

After some excessive discussion, Prince Artemis and Princess Luna, agreed upon a plan they would have the lunar guards scour everywhere in Canterlot that Pinkie and Berry could be hiding, and since it was nighttime, it would be near impossible to find them.

Princess Celestia already had the guest rooms prepared since they were too worn-out to go back home. They will tell them in the morning, if they achieve their goal of finding the two pink ponies.

The ten ponies retreated in there chambers until daytime. Everypony prepared to hit the hay, although one pony didn’t feel like sleeping.

The one that was still awake was Twilight. She couldn’t stop thinking about what Pinkie did to let Berry breakout. Well, the other Pinkie, the one who took command of her dear friend.

She sighed.

Dusk Shine, who is still awake, turns to face his love.

“Still thinking about Pinkie?” he asked.

Twilight turned to face him with a sullen expression. Tears spilling from her eyes.

“Whoever thought that my best friend would’ve become like this.” she sniffled.

Dusk Shine put his arm around her to try and comfort the weeping unicorn.

“Ssssshhh... Don’t worry. We’re all thinking the same thing. And besides, I bet Pinkie and Berry are safe, wherever they are hiding.”

Twilight dried her tears.
“Maybe your right, but I hope nothing unsatisfactory is not gonna happen them. Definitely, Pinkie, with her injuries she has right now. I-I hope she hasn’t hurt herself again. I-I don’t won’t to lose a friend.”

“Me too.”

They snuggled together as sleep finally took them.

Meanwhile in the throne room, the gods and goddesses are still having a discussion until one lunar guard announced.

“My lords and your majesty’s, we have discovered grave news at Canterlot Mental Institute.”

“And what hast thou discovered?” asked Prince Artermis.

The lunar guard felt unease.

“Well, my lord, we found something very disturbing, you may wanna come see this.”

Both the lords and princesses had questionable looks on their faces. So, they left throne room and headed towards the institute.

As they arrive, seeing the caution tape around the area they notice the disturbing scene.

Bloody corpses, body parts, turned over stretchers, everything was in disarray.

Princess Luna’s face turned green as she galloped to find a spot to vomit, while Prince Artermis tried to comfort her.

Princess Celestia looked away from the scene, having her head on the sun god’s shoulder.

Prince Solaris has no reaction. No emotion show out.

One guard came up to him.

“My lord, we found footage that the security camera caught of the scene.

The lord brought his attention to the guard.

“Show me.”

The guard led him to the security room, where the footage shows two pink killers.

Now on to the next scene, where two unicorns trot towards their home, to get out of the rain. These two are a couple, getting back from their anniversary trip.

The wife yelled at her husband for not fetching umbrellas in the first place. Likewise that it approach be rain soon. The husband neglects his wife after reaching their home. As soon as his hand reached the knob, the door was looked like it had been broken, as if somepony had broken in.

“The hell?” said the stallion.

“Oh my goddess... Honey? I-I think somepony barged into our home!” said the mare, who getting pretty dense about having a burglar in their own home.

“Don’t you think I noticed that? Look I’m going to go look around inside. You stay here.”

“In the rain? Really?”

“Yes, really.” He rolled his eyes as he went inside, being careful, while his wife mutters displeased at her husband being an ass.

Upstairs, Pinkamena was the first to wake up when she heard some noise downstairs. But, wait a minute? Something doesn’t feel right at all. This is not Pinkamena, but Pinkie Pie instead. Looks like Pinkie finally took over her own body. Her hair and coat reverted to their bouncy cotton candy like self.

Pinkie collected her thoughts together. The poor mare doesn’t know she was in a six month coma, and the circumstance at the Sugarcube Corners.

She looks to the side to see Berry, but he doesn’t look like himself, all his hair was straight and his coat was darker. She, then, noticed the clothes she was wearing and shocked of how she got them.

No matter the time she got up from the bed and walked out the bedroom. What Pinkie didn’t know is that she and Berry are in someponies house and things are really going to get ugly. She got downstairs still wondering how she got there until; she heard somepony cursing in the kitchen.

The stallion was cussing up the storm. The food that was in the fridge, was gone and now he was going to have to go to the store and buy more.

“Dammit! I swear if I ever found this asshole, I’m gonna-”

Before he say anymore, his eyes land on a set of blue eyes. Standing by the entrance of the kitchen is Pinkie, and she looks dumbstruck right now. The whole room was silent, until the stallion finally spoke

“Um, who are you? And what are you doing in my house?”

Pinkie was afraid to say anything. She didn’t even remember how she get in his house. She had to think of something, or else he’ll do something rather bad.
“Um? Well? Y-You see... Uh, I-I ... don’t remember how I got into your house. I mean me and my coltfriend that is.” She shyly chuckled as a bead of sweat trickled down her face.

The stallion looked at her questioningly.

“So, what you are saying is that you also your coltfriend broken in to my house, while me and my wife came home from our anniversary trip?” asked the stallion with a stern look on his face which tells he doesn’t quite buy her story.

Pinkie sees the look the stallion is giving her, and she doesn't know what to do.

“It seems that why. I do not quite remember how I got here.”

Before the stallion said anything, his wife came in.

“Sweetie, Is everything alri-” She stopped when she saw Pinkie.

“Um, who are you?”

Now Pinkie is starting to get distraught.

Before Pinkie could ever response, a blur of pink unseeing run her. Without a doubt, a splat of blood flies out of nowhere, that time a thud noise of a body drop.

Now Pinkie is starting to get will distraught.

Pinkie couldn’t believe what she has seen. The stallion she loves turned out to be the killer, and he just killed somepony. Her eyes shrank to pinpricks. Her hands were brought to her lips. She bit her lower lip, All while tears streamed down her face.

“Why?” she asked.
