As the world ends it begins

This is a story that I just thought of during my spring break. Hope ya'll like it.

Explanations

Some 20 years ago we had managed to make contact with the first extraterrestrial. We discovered they spoke english but it was somewhat broken and in a strange accent that no one could describe. Over these years we have managed to develop space travel far enough to make it possible to pay an amount of money and travel to this world. My name is Dave and I am one of the 1,000 or so humans who were able to pay to go to the land called equestria. This is the story of my time there and the things that led up to it.
