Though Your Dreams Into Reality
“Wake up, come on wake up honey, It’s time to get up.” a male voice was calling to me.
I open my eyes to a bright and sunny day, where I was? I couldn’t quite remember, but I was on a soft fluffy bed, with the warm touch of a stallion on me.
“I’m up, I’m up” I answer “Just give me a minute Please.”
“Good you're awake.” he says “just thought I’d say goodbye before I went into work.”
“Okay.” I say “Have a good day at work, and don’t forget that I’m going to be visiting Princess Twilight with my friends today, Okay.”
“Princess Twilight?” He says in confusion “We don’t have Princesses any more, we have a president, President Strom remember? You must be thinking of a dream you were having or something.”
I thought for a minute, that’s right it was all just a dream. I’m Rainbow Dash your average housewife, married to Gearhead, earth pony and town mechanic, with a gray coat and orange tail and mane. Together we have to beautiful colts, Thrasher a pegasus age 10, with a black coat and light blue mane and tail and Buddy an earth pony age 7, with a tan coat and brown mane and tail. And soon we will be having our first little filly, Daisy, we already had a name picked out for her, and we are expecting her in just a couple weeks. Altogether we lived in the town of Sunnyside, in a small cul de sac, and that is right we don’t have a princess, just a president, President Snow.
“That’s right!” I say with a smile “You know I sometimes have really vivid dreams.”
“I know you do dear, I’ve got to be leaving okay.” he says. He then leans in and kisses me and rubs my belly and goes off to work.
I stretch out my hooves and get out of bed and head over to our shower. Even though it is my third time being pregnant I still don’t feel used to it yet. I get into the shower and turn on the hot water, I always love the feel of a hot shower in the morning. After cleaning I swich off the water and dry off, I head downstairs and see Thrasher and Buddy watching cartoons on are big TV. I love seeing them together getting along every morning, it puts a smile on my face. They didn’t notice as I slipped into the kitchen, I decided to make them pancakes today, it is one of my favorites to make. I pull out the griddle, turn it on and whip up the batter, as I pour some of the batter onto the griddle and it immediately let out a sizzle and the pleasant aroma fills the air. I let the pancakes cook and go over and set the table and pour their OJ. Thrasher and Buddy notice the smell of fresh baked pancake and enter the kitchen.
“Good morning boys!” I say with a smile.
“Good morning mommy!” they say in unison and take their seats at the table.
I finish up the pancakes and bring them with the butter and syrup over to the table, they immediately eat them up as I watch.
When they finish everything I ask “You guys ready for me to take you school?”
“Yes mom isn’t that right Buddy?” Thrasher answers and Buddy nods.
“Okay then, Grab your backpacks and get to the car.” I tell them.
We all get into the car and when I make sure they’re buckled up I take off. I reach their school and they get out and walk together up to the front door, they both turn to me and wave goodbye then enter the school. Goodbyes are always hard no matter how long it’s going to be. I drive back home and start on my housework, and maybe if I was lucky I could get done early and watch some of my shows.
Though Your Dreams Into Reality
A couple weeks have passed, it was 8 o’clock at night and we were all gathered around the TV watching an animated movie together, thats when it happened my water broke and the baby was coming. Gearhead calls our go to babysitter and he rushes me to the emergency room, when we get there a bunch of nurses help me into a hospital bed, and put me on the proper medication. About a hour in there, there was now three doctors in my room surrounding me.
“We’re going to have to put her under!” one of them says.
A nurse comes to my bedside and put a mask over my face, not long after I fell asleep.
“I think she’s coming to.” a voice says as I wake up
When I open my eyes I see a doctor standing over my bed with a very grim look on his face.
“I'm sorry ma’am but I have some very tragic news.” he says “But your baby... she didn’t make it.”
Just hearing the the news made me instantly made me burst into tears “What do you mean she didn’t make it!” I yell.
“She came out of the womb with her umbilical cord wrapped around her neck and by the time we could do anything it was already too late, she suffocated.... I’m sorry but there was nothing we could do.” he tells me “We’ve already let your husband know he’s not taking it so well either.
I lose all control over myself and completely break down in tears, they let in Gearhead and he joins my side and we cry together.
our kid were also upset knowing they would not be getting a new sibling. Time passes and I try to get over it as best as a mother can, but I just can’t, It has also gotten quiet around the house, we were all still very upset. Gearbox had started working later at the garage, probably to try to escape his reality while I had to live with it everyday. Now many days I would drive around town trying to keep my mind of thing. I would go around town window shopping a lot and other times I would go to the grocery store even though we had plenty at home, but these thing helped me keep my mind off of things.
One day I drop off the kids at school and decide to go to the grocery store because today they had a sale going on and I might be able to get some good deals and plus we were actually running low on food and supplies. I enter the store with air conditioning blasting on me, which felt good because it was really warm for a mid spring day. The store was packed full with different ponies of age and type roaming the store floors looking for good deals. I move up and down the aisles picking up what I needed as I go along, milk, eggs, that sort of things. There is just one more thing left on the list, pancake mix. I find the right aisle with the other mixes and notice there is only one box left of my favorite brand and quickly reach for it, when my hoof reaches the box another hoof meets mine on it. I quickly pull mine away and look over to see who the owner of the other hoof belonged to. I was a young handsome male pegasus about mid twenties with a green coat and yellow and red mane cut in a similar style to mine but more masculine and like fire.
“Oh... sorry.... here you take it.” he says.
“Um...Thank.” I says.
“I’m Abashio by the way.” he says with a smile
“Oh I’m Rainbow Dash” I say and smile back
“Nice to meet you Rainbow Dash!” he says smiling “You’re lucky to have gotten the last box, not that I was going to take it from such a pretty mare like you, but that's my favorite brand, reminds me of the ones my mom made me when I was young. So what are you doing here on such a nice day?”
I blush and say “Thank you that’s real nice of you. I just needed to pick some things for my home.”
“Cool!” he exclaimed. “Me too, my roommate asked me to pick some things up for him. Hey if you're ever out on a day like today why don’t you give me a call and,.... Here wait.” he pulls a pen and paper and starts writing something down on it and hands it to me. On it was a number and his name. “we can hang out and get lunch or something. I gotta go, hope you again okay.
He leaves and I head over to the check out. That was weird I thought, that’s when I notice I wasn’t wearing my wedding band, he thought I was single, he was flirting with me. I blushed again just thinking of it, well he was cute I thought and it did help take my mind off thing, it’s not like I’ll ever call him or see him again. I pay for my thing, pick up the kids, and head home. when they enter the house the drop there backpack in the kitchen and sit down in front of the TV like they do most nights, I was about start on dinner when I heard a beeping. I look around and find out it’s Gearheads cell phone that he must have forgotten and it had a new message, I didn’t want to be nosey but I still picked it and and checked it, it said one new message from Lola. Who’s Lola I thought, I don’t recall us knowing anyone named Lola. I open the message and that I wish I never did. “Hey Stud you almost here lol ;)” It said. I was shocked, I quickly looked through more of his messages from her, some were similar to that one others were a lot of sexual talk and some were even pictures of her genitals she had sent him, he had even sent some of his back. I check the dates on the messages and all this started shortly after our baby didn’t make it, this is what he was doing when he said he was working late, this is how he was coping. I slammed down the phone and run to the bathroom to cry so the kids wouldn’t see me like this. How could he do this to me, that bastard! I gave him my life and this is how he repays me. But I couldn’t let him know I knew because then the kids might find out and I didn’t want that to happen. How could I get back at him I thought that’s when I saw the piece of paper poking out of my hoodie pocket and unfolded it, and called the number.
“Hello is this Abashio, It's me Rainbow Dash, what are you doing tomorrow afternoon?”
Gearhead returned home around 9:30 “Honey I’m home!” he says
“Oh... Welcome home.” I say while trying to keep a smile.
“Is dinner ready?” he asks.
“Yes” I say “I’ve got you a plate set”
I’ve never noticed before, but now I did strawberry perfume, I could smell strawberry perfume on him. The smell of that fucking perfume on him angered me badly and it was on him every night.
It is hard getting to bed every night because of the perfume and just the thought of him with another mare, and there he is next to me sleeping like a baby, not even a single look of guilt. I looked over to my pillow and thought “I could use this to end him and be happy!” Then I thought of are kids I couldn’t do that to them. I was finally able to fall asleep. when I woke in the morning, Gearhead had already left for work, I oughta get ready to take the kids to school. I didn’t feel very good, I didn’t even shower, I just headed downstairs and pour the kid a bowl of cereal. “Eat Up.” I say.
The Kids eat while I watch in silence, and finish and grab their school bags and head to the car. I unlock the car and they scramble into the back seat and buckle up, I take my place in the drivers seat and start the engine. I head to their school and they get out of the car and I wave goodbye and drive back home alone. When I get back I head inside and switch on the TV and lay on the couch, just then my phone goes off, a new message from Abashio “Hey didn’t forget about are date, did we?” , “No…. It’s still on ;)” I replied. This is how I would get him back, this is how I would feel good again. “yay!!! then meet me at the ice cream parlor @ 1:00” He sent back. Then it’s a date, I’d better get ready, I hop into the shower and turn on the hot water, and scrub my entire body and then wash my mane and tail, I wanted to look my best.
After my shower it was still only 11:47, I still had a little time before I leave, I switch on the TV and lay down and the couch, should I really be doing this I thought, well if he could do it to me I could do it to him! The time came and I was ready to leave, I grabbed my purse and headed to my car. I rode to the ice cream parlor, I could already see him sitting there at one of the tables. I park my car and turn it off, and head to the table where he is already seated.
“Hello, Abashio!” I say.
“Hi Rainbow!” he says back. “about time you got here! Ha Ha, just kidding, It’s okay. Oh and just call me Aba.”
“Okay Aba.” I giggle.
“So want to order now?” he says
“Yeah, I’m hungry.” I reply back.
“Sweat!” he says.
We head up to the counter and we both order what we want, he gets some of the fancy ice cream with candy and stuff in it and I get a simple twist cone and we head back to our seat.
“So what do you do for a living?...” he asks.
“Oh… you know, I watch children for a living…” I reply.
“So you’re a baby sitter!” he says.
“Yeah, you could say that…” I say. “And you, what do you do?”
“I’m at the time, in between jobs…” he replies. “but don’t worry, I still have some bits to spare Ha Ha.”
“Well thats good!” I say and smile.
“Sooo… anyway…. you seeing anyone?” he asks.
The question hit me like a knife, this was the moment of truth, tell him the truth and end it now or lie and keep this affair gong.
“No, I’m single at the moment…” There I did it, I need my revenge.
“Cool! Sooo…. would you call this a date?” he asks.
“Of course I would silly! I really like you!” I say with a smile.
“Cool! I really like you too!” He says. “So… Wanna come back to my place?”
“Yeah, sure just for a little bit!” I reply.
We finish are ice cream and walk back to his apartment, which was only about a block away.
“My roommate shouldn’t be home for awhile now, so we should be good to do some things.” he says with a smile.
