Ever since she had gone into the ancient castle in the Everfree Forest, Twilight has been suffering from these strange, vivid nightmares about a young filly. Since these dreams began, she has been bed ridden and Spike has been helping her through it. After one extremely terrible night, Spike sends a letter to Princess Celestia begging for assistance. What he learns and what he experiences from that moment on will forever change his perspective on life, death, and the true nature of magic.
