The Life of Two Murderers

It was a beautiful summer afternoon. The birds were chirping, the bees were buzzing, and the flowers were begging to be pollenated. Me and Rainbow Dash were teaching eachother certain things. I was teaching her how to take care of her pet Tank properly, while she taught me how to fly strong and fast.

"You can do it Fluttershy!" Rainbow said, flapping her wings rapidly, cheering for me.

I had no idea how fast I was going, but I though I was going at the speed of light. I had no idea what was going on around me.

I had no idea what was going to happen.

Twilight was with Celestia doing something, Pinkie Pie was making cupcakes( I had NO clue what she made them out of at this time), Rarity was doing some deal with Photo Finish, and Applejack was prepareing for another Applebuck Season.

The day was just me and Rainbow Dash.

I stopped to take a breather. For my size and barely flying at all, going 13 miles an hour was tough. My animal friends were proud of me for all the hard work I did. Rainbow came up to me, patting me on the back.

"Way to go Fluttershy. Though, I suggest you flap your wings in a continuous motion rather than rapidly." Rainbow said, with a grin on her face.

I was sweaty and hot. I wanted to end my training for awhile and just hang around.

"Wanna go to Sugar Cube Corner and get a bite to eat?" I said, trying to breath.

"Alright then." She said, nudging me twoard the direction of Sugar Cube Corner, "After this though, back to training."

We were going on our way. The gravel crunched under my hooves as we walked to the sweet store. We got there the same time our friend Lyra did. We said hi to eachother, and walked into the store to get something for our sweet tooths.

"Hey guys! Want to try out a new cupcake. It's called Caramel Delux!" Pinkie Pie giggled.

Her main was poofy like always with that cotton candy look. Her eyes always popped from the rest of her body. She was jumping in delight about us tast testing her latest creations.

"Sure Pinkie Pie!" Rainbow said in glee.

She took a bite from the caramel cupcake.

"This is pretty good."

"I would like one to please." I told Pinkie Pie, putting two bits on the table.

"Oh no Flutters, you get one for free! You to Lyra!" Pinkie said, handing Lyra a cupcake.

Lyra smiled, took the cupcake, and trotted away taking small bites out of the creamy pastry. I tasted it.

It was good.

Rainbow Dash and I ate our pastries and was about to leave when...

"Oh, I almost forgot, this was in my mail this morning. It must have ben mixed up with your guy's mail. It has both your names on it, so it must be from Cloudsdale!"

Pinkie handed me the letter. I opened it and gave it to Rainbow.

"Dear Chosen Pegasus," She read. "I would like to announce that the 100 year tradition has carried on for cloudsdale for two of the bestest friends to compeat. We have chosen you, Rainbow Dash, and your best friend Fluttershy to compeat this year. Please report to the Cloudsdale auditorium by 12:00. Don't be late. The Wonderbolts."

Rainbow looked at the great tower of Ponyvill.

"Oh no! It's two minutes before 12! We gotta go!"

Rainbow grabbed my hoove and flew as fast as her wings could take her. I helped by flapping my wings too, lightining up her load of weight...me.

We reached the auditorium dead on. We got inside and for a strange reason, the doors slamed behind us. A bright light showed the 3 Wonderbolts behind a wooden stand. Spitfire, Soren, and Fleetfoot were wearing Thunderbolt suits instead of their Wonderbolt suits.

"What in Equestria is going on here?!" Rainbow yelled at Spitfire.

"Don't worry Rainbow Dash..." Spitfire said, "This is just a simple......test....."

Spitfire grinned and cued 2 other Wonderbolts to open a door. Another Wonderbolt pushed Rainbow Dash and me onto a platform and had an assortment of weapons for us to choose.

"You must fight!" Spitfire said with a crazy look in her eyes, "One of you will live and one of you will die."

"What happens if we don't fight?" I said looking at the puffy clouds under my hooves.

"THEN YOU WILL BOTH DIE!!!!"
