Prologue
Pinkie was attending to her shift at the Sugarcube Corner. She sold cupcakes, cakes, pastries, and many other sweet things. They all looked very delicious. Anypony that walked in, ended up buying something. It was amazing that even pinkie herself didn't eat one.
Unfortunately, even she had limits. She reached out for a velvet cupcake. She licked her lips and went in for the bite. Before she could taste the delicious cupcakes, she heard a familiar pony click her tongue.
"Pinkie, you shouldn't be eating the stock!" Said Ms. Cake
Pinkie frowned with irresistible puppy dog eyes.
"Wait until we close. If there are any left, you can eat some."
Pinkie felt some hope. Until Sugarcube Corner closed. There were no more extra sweets left at the end of the day.
Now pinkie was even more sad. Pinkie sighed, and walked around the night of Ponyville. She found a well after a few minutes of walking.
She tossed in a bit and said "I wish I could eat what I want, when I want." She walked away back to her home at Sugarcube Corner, and went to sleep. When she woke up, she could smell many sweets at the same time. More sweets than usual at Sugarcube Corner.
She walked outside, wondering what the weird smells were about. To her surprise, every house was a gingerbread house. Every street lamp, a candy cane. Trees were lollipops, the grass was tasty, the rivers were chocolate! Pinkie started shaking like a tea kettle and then burst high up 20 feet into the air.
"Omigosh! Everything is tasterrific!" Pinkie screamed. She was too busy as she was taking bites out of the lollipop trees, munching on gingerbread doors and drinking chocolate out of the rivers, to realize that nopony was there. When Pinkie thought about it, she just passed it off as "Just a dream". When she had her fill, she went back to sleep, hoping to wake up back at Ponyville. When she woke up, she still saw candies everywhere. She felt a little scared, wondering if she could still wake up back at Ponyville. This time, she went exploring. She walked at least an hour, until she saw a small town. She walked in and looked around for somepony, or something.
"Hellooooo? Anypony there?" Pinkie shouted. Some sort of pony walked out of a gingerbread house, but it looked weird, Almost hoof drawn. It looked like a gingerbread pony, but much bigger.
"Hi there, stranger!" Said the weird looking pony. "You don't look like your from around here, are you?"
"No, Mr. Gingy! I come from a far away place called Ponyville" said Pinkie
"How did you know my name?" asked Mr. Gingy
"Whoops, I guess I looked ahead of the script!" Pinkie said.
"What?" Mr. Gingy asked puzzled "Never mind, what's your name?" asked Mr. Gingy
"My name is Pinkie Pie, what's yours?" answered Pinkie.
"My name's Mr. Gingy. Are you lost?" asked Mr. Gingy
"Not really, I sort of wanted to come here, but then I got lost. Maybe I actually know where I am, AND I'm lost? What if I'm actually asleep right now and this is all a dream? What if I'm not real at all and someone else is..." Pinkie paused as she is interrupted by Mr. Gingy
"Alright, I'm pretty sure you're lost. We have a spare house you can live in. Maybe you can establish a living here before we find your home?" Mr. Gingy proposed.
"Okey Dokey Lokey!" replied Pinkie. Mr. Gingy showed Pinkie her new home until they can find her home back at Ponyville. It seemed to be getting darker, and this is when Pinkie bid farewell to Mr. Gingy.
"See you later, Mr. Gingy!" said Pinkie
"Bye, Pinkie!" replied Mr. Gingy.
Pinkie went in and found a bed to lie down in. It was only one room, but the house was quite big. She closed her eyes, and went to sleep.
