The American Civil War, 1864
Small groups of Confederate troops are sent to the west to try and confirm sightings of creatures indescribable. They're hoping to just prove to everyone these "beasts" are nothing more than Union infantry. What they find though, could change the history of the C.S.A. as well as the rest of the country, but all things, no matter how strange, always fade into forgotten history.
