It was the wedding party for Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, also known as Princess Cadence, and her newly founded Husband Prince Shining Armor. The music of the DJ and Twilight Sparkle’s elegant voice carrying all around the floor of which the party took place. “Are you alright, Applejack?” AJ’s great friend Twilight asked with a touch of concern. “You seem as though you are pretty drunk.”

“Well okay then, just try to enjoy yourself, you are just standing around, go dance or something, maybe talk to Princess Luna,” the lavender unicorn said as she led AJ through the crowd to the Princess. “Luna,” Twilight said with a little cheer in her voice, “You remember my good friend Applejack, don’t you.”
“Why of course I do, truly a kind and honest soul she is,” Luna said so matter-of-factly, “Who could forget someone such as her.”
“Awesome, well I’m gonna leave you two to talk and go watch Pinkie Pie enter the cake eating contest, Ciao,” Twilight said with a wink as she dashed off happily to where Applejack just noticed Pinkie engulf an entire cake in a bite.
“So, fairest Applejack, what have you been doing on such a momentous occasion as this?” the Princess eagerly asked, smiling hoping that her adapting to modern speech patterns had improved since their last encounter on the previous Nightmare Night.

“That seems like quite the night as it is, might you direct and accompany me to the apple cider table so I may have some,” The elegantly tall blue alicorn said. Then as they approach the table, Luna magically grasps a cup and presses it to the nozzle where the cider comes out, getting a full glass. She presses it up to her lips and her face becomes overcome with shock. “Oh my, Applejack, this cider truly is fantastic”
AJ begins to blush deep red, “Why thank ya kindly Princess, it’s the good ol’ Apple family recipe. Been passed down for generations from my granny’s pappy.” Then Applejack smiled wide, “I’m glad it’s fit enough for a Princess like yourself, great-grandpappy would have been proud of that, I’m sure.”
As she amazingly finished a 3rd glass, the princess looked down to Applejack, “You do know you may call me Luna, don’t you Applejack.” Luna looked as though the cider had just hit her like a freight train, “I mean, we are friends, are we not?” An immense smile broke out across the Freckled mare blushing face.
“I do reckon we are Prin- I mean, Luna,” they both smiled at each other peacefully, “Now that’s more than enough about how I’ve been, how have you been Luna? How’s it been finally being home after 1000 years on the moon?” Applejack eagerly asked.
As they trotted away from the crowd and onto a walkway, Luna begins, “Thing have been....well.. different. As one might expect they would be after being away for so long, having left the world that was entirely different than the one of today.” Luna pauses for a moment, finally after a few seconds of silence she digresses, “I’ve been quite lonely as of late.
