The Weirdest Freaking Time of My Life.
Chapter 1. Enter the Chasm
Alright let's just recap, last night I came home and went to bed. Now I'm in some forested canyon in the middle of a forest. Heh, at least I still have my trench coat. Things aren't all bad I guess, wait, I recognize this isn't this the... what's that sound. It sounds like rocks are crumbling, I look up to make sure nothing's going to hit me, and then I also hear screaming. Familiar screaming... It stopped for a moment, and I scan around to see what could have possibly been in trouble, trying to deny what I already knew. I look over about fifty feet from where I am standing, and about a hundred feet higher. That's it I've gone insane. I thought to myself as I saw the lower half of a purple mare hanging off the side. As I get a grip on what's happening, I notice she's falling and neither Dash nor Fluttershy have set down Pinkie and Rarity yet. One of two things is happening, I'm either insane or I'm having a very realistic dream. Or this is really happening and if I don't do something now, there is going to be unicorn soup everywhere. I chose the latter. She was nearing the ground now, only about sixty feet from impact, so I let instinct take over. I ran as fast as I possibly could, for a moment it seemed like I was just flying forward. She was getting closer and closer now, and I knew that this was very VERY real. She was about ten feet from the ground, I was about twelve from where she would hit. Now she was only about six, I jumped forward, adrenaline fueling my leap. I caught her, I actually caught her. She stopped screaming for a second, and just stared at me, having no idea what to think. Can't blame her there. I thought to myself before setting her on the ground. Then I noticed something, very, very odd. My right hand was now covered in black scales.
"GET THE HAY AWAY FROM TWILIGHT!" I looked up to see a blue Pegasus charging straight at my face. She knocks me down onto my back, and I look up.
"God! Is that the way you treat someone for keeping your friend from coloring the ground a new shade of red!?" I shouted at the hot-headed mare. She apparently was surprised to even see me talk.
"Wait-what?" She asked in a disbelieving tone.
"I said that I just saved Twilight here from going splat." I said in a completely calm but still annoyed voice.
"Uuunngh." We turned to see Twilight getting up, apparently that catch had knocked the wind out of her. "It's right Rainbow, it caught me just above the ground. Who are you? And how do you know my name?"
"First answer.... my name's Mander." I said this instead of my real name because I'm not sure if what I say will be used against me. "Second answer, is that your buddy kinda shouted it before barreling into me." My only thought after saying that was BARRELS! "Anyway don't you have a nightmare to stop?" When I said this the Dash's eyes got wide.
"And how would you know that HUH!" Well Fuck!
"Why else would anypony, especially a couple of mares be out in the Everfree during the Summer Sun Celebration?" I quickly pulled that one out of my ass. It seemed to tide them over.
"Sorry if I sound ungrateful, but, what are you and why are you here?" Twilight asked with a small amount of fear in her voice.
"No clue how I'm here, but as to why, I saw an innocent mare screaming as she plummeted towards the ground. Any honest creature would have done the same." She smiled with a sweetness that would give most people diabetes. "As for what I am, I am something known as human..." Then I remembered my right hand and gestured to it, "...mostly." Then Rarity Fluttershy Pinkie and Applejack showed up. Crap, just as I finished explaining myself. Well if I know AJ she's probably gonna buck me right in the-
"Oh, goodness that coat fits you perfectly!" I turned my attention and saw Rarity practically smelling my coat, Well that saves me some pain. It was at this moment that the other girls actually noticed I was actually wearing clothing.
"Uh, thanks. But like I was just saying, I think there is somewhere we should all be getting to if we wanna stop nightmare." The four just stared at me for a second, but Twilights' expression shook their suspicions off. I then turned my attention my attention to Dash, "By the way, no hard feelings, if I were to see one of my pals standing next to a shady unknown figure in a dangerous forest, I probably would have reacted the same way. But seriously that hurt, could you try not to do that again Rainbow?" She was smiling for most of the sentence, but at the last word her face morphed into a scowl.
"AND HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NAME!" She practically screamed. GOD I HAVE GOT TO STOP DOING THAT! I quickly think of a couple things to pull my ass out of the metaphorical fire.
"Two things, first off you have a pretty suggestive mane, so at the very least it would probably be a nickname." She looked almost embaressed when I said that. "Also Twillight said it when she was asking me how I knew her name." SPEECH LEVEL UP! "Anyway if you wanna continue you're gonna have to try and get passed that manticore" I say pointing to the creature blocking the path. They all looked at it, then at eachother, then at me for some odd reason.
"We're gonna have to get passed it." Twilight says with strong authority in her voice. The manticore stands and turns to them and roars, at this point I notice Fluttershy's eyes go wide open, though not with fear. I quickly understand this is the moment that she needed the girls to stop. It leaps at Rarity about to slash down, I knew she could dodge but that would only give her a reason to kick, creating more wounds than this encounter needs. I step in the way and grab the leg with my dragonic hand. claw. thing. Everyone including the manticore, except for Fluttershy stares at me in confusion when I do not strike back.
"Hey, sweetheart." I say to the yellow Pegasus, because I knew that saying her name would get me screwed over. "Mind checking and seeing what's got this big guy so angry?" Much to her friends shock she quickly trots over and and almost nuzzles the manticores' other paw. I let go of his leg and it sets it on the ground, and shows Fluttershy its paw, WHICH HAS AN ENORMOUS FUCKING WOODEN SPIKE STICKING OUT OF IT. She quickly removed it, like ripping off a band-aid and it started licking her. "GOD! This is cheesy!" I say and I got a scowl from the manticore before it set Fluttershy down and we went on our merry way.
"Hey how did you two know there was something wrong?" Twilight asked us.
"I had no clue, but I could tell from the look on her face when it roared, that something was going on." I said before we continued on the path. The next two obstacles didn't exactly give me anywhere to insert myself, so I just hung back. Surprisingly Pinkie's singing was a lot better than in the show, I caught myself humming the tune and that would have been really freaky if anyone else had caught me. Finally we came up to the bridge.
"Whadda we do NOW?!"
"Uh duh." Dash said flaring her wings before she took down to repair the bridge. Ten seconds later, we saw her confronted by three masked ponies.
"RAINBOW!!!" Twilight shouted, before the overpass was covered with a thick fog. She was about to shout again when I put my hand on her back.
"Don't worry, she'll be fine." I say with sincerity in my words. And without disappointment less than thirty seconds later the bridge started to shift and Dash came flying across it. They all exchanged their joy at seeing her, and before we walked across I patted her on the head. "Nice job kid, you can't always uphold the other elements of harmony, but a true friend will always remain loyal. No matter what." That was basically me trying to tell her she's my favorite of the mane six. She looked at me curiously but smiled nonetheless.
We made our way to the ruins, where the elements were kept, Dash and Flutters had already started bringing them down. "One. Two. Three. Four... There's only five!" Pinkie exclaimed.
"The book said that when the first five are present, a spark will reveal the third. Stand back this will take a minute." She says and we all start to leave the room.
"*Sigh* Not that kind of spark Twi." I whisper before following the others. We stand out there for about thirty seconds before we hear a strange sound coming from the room. We quickly rush in to see Twilight and the elements get sucked into a vortex then vanish.
"Where'd she go!!!"
"Over there!" I say pointing to the other part of the ruins nearby. We run there as quickly as we can, when we get to the doorway the whole group shouts.
"TWILIGHT!!!!!!!" Then she turns around and sa- what the hell anyone reading this already knows this scene. Anyway once the heartfelt scene between the royal sisters plays out, Pinkie is sobbing and blowing her nose.
"Wow that was a lot cooler to see than before." Realizing what I just said, all eyes are on me. I keep my cool, because if I didn't I would be totally screwed. "Let's just say I've seen the elements used before." I say this and Twilight and Celestia's eyes go wide.
"Just how old are you, why have we not known of you before?!" Twilight asked me with a partially angry look on her face. Well FUCK!!!
"I'd prefer not to say, as I have no idea how I got here in the first place. As for why you've never seen me, my kind has been watching for a while now, but we've never been seen by anything before." Hey I wasn't lying. "If I had kept up that tradition, this result likely wouldn't have come to fruition, and I wasn't about to let the element of Magic die now would I." I say while looking at Twilight, unsurprisingly the look of anger quickly changes to a look of joy. "And by the way, before I forget tell Prince Blueballs that he doesn't do anything important in Equestria, his status power and wealth were completely undeserved, and that if I see him harass any of my friends in his hubris, that I will personally kick him so hard his foalhood pictures will feel it!" All of them were shocked by my outburst, except for Celestia, who probably knew just how right I was. "Now that that is out of the way, I think we have a Celebration to get back to isn't that right Tia and Lulu." I swear Twilights' jaw was about to unhinge.
"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!! THEY ARE THE PRINCESSES SHOW SOME RESPECT!" Twilight shouted.
"Twi, this is me showing respect to royalty. My earlier rant shows what happens when I don't, but at least I don't cause chaos with my attitude. At least not intentionally," I then turn my attention to the slightly shocked princesses. "By the way, how is Discord doing? Probably just sitting around like a rock like always." I say smiling to the princesses who are now more confused than ever. "Sorry I've been overly kind, and where I come from royalty isn't exactly everything. My apologies." I say to the princesses, who have mostly regained their composure. "Now. Seriously, don't we have a celebration to go to." Finally after all of that we turn around and return to Ponyville. We enjoyed the festivities, and I finally got to try one of Pinkies' cupcakes, which by the way taste like diabetes, sweet delicious diabetes. As I am enjoying one Applejack walks over to me.
"So that was what you meant when you said it required a differen' taype a spark. The spark of Friendship?" She asked me and I was slightly caught off guard.
"Uhhh, yea, I'm surprised you heard me say that though."
"Wah didn' ya tell 'er?"
"If I had, the elements wouldn't have been as strong. She needed to discover the power of friendship for herself." AJ just stares at me for a second.
"Yer Lyin'." She said with a scowl starting on her face. "Why didn' ya really tell 'er." SHIT!
"Okay, since I know you will just be able to tell if I'm lying I will tell you, but you can't tell anyone under any circumstances got it?" She hesitantly nods. "First of all I'm not really that old, I'm only fifteen."
"But then how-"
"Let me get to that." I say interrupting her, "In my world there must have been some sort of oracle, that saw the events that took place and will take place here, and organized them into a type of fictional story. The reason I didn't say anything was because I knew it would end fine, I don't want to change any major events that happen in this world more than if I have to." She stares at me for a second. "I know much about the six of you, hell, I even know how you got your cutie marks. I know too much, and I don't want to cause something bad to happen by interfering." She continued to stare for a second.
"Can ya give meh some proof?" She asked understandably.
"You got your cutie mark, after coming home from Manehatten I think, when a rainbow pointed you home." When I said this her jaw dropped slightly.
"Well Ah dunno if Ah can trust ya yet but I won't tell anypony I swear." She says convincingly.
I look her dead in the eyes and say with a grin. "You have to Pinkie promise." When I said this she smiled for a second before sighing.
"Cross mah heart an' hope tah fly, stick a cupcake in mah eye." When she said this I just started laughing before we both proceeded to return to the party and chat with our newfound friends.
A few hours pass and now we are all heading to Twilight's Library to hang out. She envelopes her door in a purple hue before it opens allowing us all in.
"Spike! We're back!" Twilight shouted and a small purple and green came rushing down the stairs.
"TWILIGHT YOU DID IT YOU ACTUALLY DID-" He stopped when he saw me. "Uhm what is this thing?" He asked while pointing at me.
"Well, it's good to meet you too little guy." I say pointing back at him with my own dragonic claw.
"Weird, how do you have a claw and a.... what is that exactly?" He asks not at all stricken by the fact that I just spoke.
"Ugh, Spike this is Mander. He saved my life earlier. He apparently is mostly human, and I am guessing part dragon." Twilight said to the curious dragon.
"What's a human?" He asked.
"Please I would really rather not get into that whole explanation tonight, I believe we've all earned some rest. By the way Twi I'm surprised none of the local residents freaked out when they saw me.
"Why is that."
"They're surprisingly not good with discovering new races of sentient creatures. I mean terror in the streets just from being seen not good." I say remembering how they reacted to Zecora, or would that be will react.
"What? Y'know what nevermind. Umm Mander do you have a place to sleep?" Wow how had I not thought about that until this point.
"Ummm no I guess I don't. I think I would prefer staying with Dash out of any of you though." He said while looking at the mare.
"Well her house is a cloud, I'm not sure you can even stand on clouds."
"Crap, well I don't know either. Hmmmmm?" I thought out loud. I really did wanna stay with Dash, as I had a little bit of a fiction crush on her, wait would that really be fiction crush, I dunno fuck it. "Could we maybe test it out though."
"Hey don't I get a say in this?" She asked as her opinion was not.
"Of course, sorry Rainbow." I said while looking at her. She seemed almost to be not looking at me though, odd.
"I wouldn't mind him staying at my house however I don't really have a room set up for him at the moment." She said and it saddened me a little.
"That's fine he can stay here if he wants, I have a guest bed upstairs."
"Thanks Twi, I would appreciate that. Now let's all get a little shut-eye." I said before walking upstairs, with Twilight and Spike following. I practically fell into the guest bed and was about to fall asleep when I spoke my last words of the night, "Good night Twilight, I love this world." Then I was almost immedietly out cold
POV TWILIGHT
I love THIS world, what could that mean this is way to weird. I need to know more, but he definitely won't just tell me. She mulled her options over for a while unsure of what to do. I guess there's only one thing to do, I hope he will forgive me if he finds out. She the approached the sleeping Mander, and put her horn to his forehead. She started learning foremost about the things he preferred before he came here, starting with long time obsessions. The first thing she fully understood out of everything else was a concept she actually found quite interesting. Video games, she thought that because it was completely fictional its' violence would be a nice stress reliever for some. She quickly then learned that because of his obsession with it he was quite skilled, and it improved his coordination in certain cases, along with that he became friends with people he hasn't even met. Twilight found this to be most interesting, during this time she found his real name was not Mander but actually Mitchell, Mander was just an online nickname given to him by some of his friends. Next topic was a television show, she quite liked the idea of the television as well, with it there were so many possibilities. However she was surprised to see what this specific show was. It was "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" She saw what had taken place in the show only without Mitchell, she decided to quickly change what she viewed, she knew better than to look at the future. Twilight looked through his memories, from the very happy to the horrible, she tried to skip over as many of the 'private' ones she could. Finding herself learning about the very human race, living in a world like the Everfree, even the fact that there was absolutely no magic. Finding everything she wanted to learn, she quickly pulled out of his mind, a feeling of guilt washed over her before she returned to her bed.
POV MITCHELL
I felt like I was about to start dreaming but then I started to relive some of my memories, starting with the memories of video games, I immediately knew what was happening, as I had read in many fan fics before I came here. Twilight's being a very bad girl. I wanted to wake up and stop her from doing what it was she was doing. Then I remembered something, Twilight opened a door into my mind, and while I could not stop her from gathering the knowledge that she wanted, I could get some myself, because a door can be walked through either way. I quickly found myself understanding many of the ways she can use spells, along with how she thinks. Seeing as she was probably getting a lot more knowledge from my mind that I was from hers. I decided to look into her studies, I started with her knowledge of mechanics, and I soon found myself able to contemplate building things I could previously only imagine. From there I moved through what she knew about the princess and the guard, as, it may come in handy. Finally I guess I found Twilights' "Study of the Pony Reproductive System". WOW! Twilight has BEEN a very naughty girl. I could only think to myself, but then I understood she wants to be prepared for everything, and it's not really that weird to be nervous about how you would do in a relationship. I could feel her nearing the end of what she wanted to know about, so I went back into my mind, for fear of being trapped in hers. I was going to play along for a bit, make Twilight think I don't know anything she did. This was just getting more and more interesting for me by the moment.
10 Hours Later.
"Rise and shine Mander!" Reality faded in when I heard Spike calling him up. When I got up I had a smile, Heh Twilight's mind was just like the Animus, I should be able to predict if she does anything dangerous now.
"Alright Spike I'm up, so what's for breakfast?" I asked while looking at my little llizard friend.
"I made pancakes, you want some?"
"Definately, they were a favorite of mine back home." I say in complete honesty, "By the way where is Twilight?" I wanted to know what she would do the day after invading my privacy, though I had a pretty good idea.
"I dunno." He said as he passed me a stack of pancakes. "I think she said something about talking to Applejack." Knew it, let's just hope AJ can play dumb successfully. Me and Spike give small talk while we finish our breakfast.
"Spike thanks for the pancakes, I'm gonna go see Rainbow okay."
"Yeah okay, I gotta do my chores anyway seeya later."
I look around town for Dash for a little while, then I remember that if I had the right materials I could probably build something to defend myself with if the time came up. I eventually gave up on looking for Dash, and I don't have the money to buy the materials I would need. So I decided to stop by at Raritys' to see if I could get a favor. I arrive at a little past noon, throughout the time, I've gotten a couple of the reactions I had expected yesterday. Once I reached the Carousel Boutique, I walked in, remembering it was technically a store. "Hey Rarity?" I said as half greeting half question.
"Hi Mander, what could I do for you?" She asked surprised to see me.
"Uh, could you perhaps design a hood for my coat? I don't have any money, so I thought I could ask a friend, hope you don't mind?"
"Of course I don't darling, this is a great chance to study your coat, um, are their any conditions for the hood?"
"Three actually. One, It needs to be durable." She nodded, "Two it needs to be the same color as my coat, i.e. black." Another nod, "Three, could you make it so that the hood comes to a tip at the end instead of just a curve, it would have to be slightly longer, but I think that would make it look unique." She smiled at this idea, to which I took that as a yes, I handed her my coat, and she went to work right away. I decided with nothing better to do, I would just sit there and daydream. So, I wonder how Twilight is doing with that whole, going behind my back to get answers thing. Not that I was mad or even minded, Twilight was actually my second favorite because of her ambition and curiosity. Rarity comes back into the room with my coat, and it's exactly how I pictured it, it looks like a modern day Assassins Creed outfit. "WOW, it looks perfect thanks Rarity."
"Oh it was no problem darling, I love my work, the pay is just a bonus." WOW, no joke about the generosity thing.
"Anyways thanks again." I said before putting my coat on and walking out with my hood up, needless to say I felt like a BOSS.
I decided to head up to the Apple Farm, to see if Twilight was done there, what she had to talk about, and if she knew where Dash was. It took me about ten minutes to get up there. When I got up there I noticed Big Mac was staring at me funny. Oh how predictable. "Hey, do you know if Applejack's here?" I asked him.
"She's out back, don't you try anything funny you got that?" He asked me trying to look as threatening as possible.
"Yeah yeah, don't worry." I snorted. I proceeded around back to see Twilight talking with AJ, she must have been here for like three hours talking. I definetly need to hear what's going on. I back away a little bit, and climb up one of the apple trees. Heh, it's just like being a kid again, god I love climbing trees, I also love apples. I'll probably be hanging our here when I'm bored. I quickly got back on topic, the trees were close together, so it wasn't too difficult to get over to them without falling or making a lot of noise. I finally got myself above them to get to hearing the conversation.
"Twi, Ah don't see why yer gettin' so worked up about this. The guy saved yer life, I'm sure we can trust him." Applejack said, trying to be as convincing as possible. Which was surprisingly good.
"I'm grateful for what he did, believe me I am. But the entire time he's been here I feel like he's either been lying or only telling half truthes." Oh she's doubtful, I need to be careful when she's like this, I can't get in her face about it because then I will seem defensive, and I can't act incredibly nice because then I'll seem suspicious. Perfect just gotta be myself which means... I swung down from the tree hanging by my legs.
"You ladies talking about me." I swear Twilight almost wet herself in shock. "Oh come on I'm not that scary am I?" I asked jokingly.
"No, it's nothing, you just kinda startled me is all."
"Yea, normally we don' get any folk swinging down from the trees." She said hinting for me to get down, so I did. Jackpot. The moment Twilight saw my hood, her jaw dropped for a moment.
"AJ, would you excuse us for a second?" She asked her friend, AJ nodded and went back to work.
"What is that?" Twilight asked with a small amount of venom in her voice.
"What is what?" I ask with a mischievous smile.
"What is with that hood?"
"Nothing, I just like having a hood, is something wro-pfff ya got me, or should I say, I got you." Her eyes widened for a second. "Yeah Twi, I know you looked into my mind." She was going to open her mouth to answer but I interrupted her. "No I'm not mad for two reasons, but you may be when you hear the second one." Her eyes narrowed a little bit. "First reason I'm not mad is that you had good reason to go into my head, I was an unknown creature with a dragon claw, sleeping in the guest room of your house I get it. Second reason, is that when you created a door into my mind, you forgot one thing." She looked visibly worried at this. "A door can be opened from both sides." Her eyes grew wider and wider within that moment.
"You mean-"
"DING DING DING WE HAVE A WINNER!!!" I shouted now that Applejack was far enough away. "Yeah that's right I looked in your head, by the way, some of your 'research' topics are very interesting you naughty naughty mare." She invented a new shade of red right then and there.
"YOU CAN'T JUST-"
"AH-AH-AH! You did the same did you not, and while I was sleeping for gods' sake. By the way, as a reward for counteracting that spell of yours. I now understand how you think. Anything you can say to try and help your side of this argument, I have already thought of an counter to defend myself and show we are on equal measures." That was total bullshit but I knew that if I said that, that she would stop.
"I-I'm sor-"
"None of that, I already said I wasn't mad didn't I, let's just forget this even happened. Okay?" She nodded and we continued went to continue our day, I went to talk to Applejack, because I needed some work. If I was going to design a hidden blade for my left hand, as my claws are already sharp enough, I am going to need money. "Hey Applejack, do you think I could work here for some bits?" I asked her, completely disregarding the fact that Twilight and I had just spoken.
"Ah don' see wha not, but what was it that Twi wanted to talk to you about?" By this point I'm already in another tree picking apples and placing them in the pockets of my coat, I HAVE A LOT OF POCKETS.
"Yeaaaaah, about that. Last night after I went to sleep she kind of..... used a spell to see my memories." AJ stared in disbelief for a couple seconds. "Don't worry I'm not mad and I already told her that, and I'm not worried about her telling anypony, after all, she didn't tell you did she?" She shook her head.
"But wah don' you think she's goin' to tell anypony?"
"I've got leverage." When I said this AJ looked worried and then angry for a second.
"What'd you do?" She asked, most likely thinking that I threatened Spike.
"When she opened a door to my mind, she forgot one thing, a door can be used from either side." AJ had the same reaction as Twi.
"Ya mean you-"
"Yes, I've been over this already, she knows secrets about me, I know secrets about her. When I told her just what one of them was, she got totally flustered it was hilarious, and kinda adorable." AJ giggled for a second.
"Ah'm sure Ah'll get the full story later, anyway get to work I ain't goin' tah pay you for talkin'."
I nodded before continuing to climb around the trees, practically filling all the space in my coat with apples, God I feel so much like Connor! Was the only thing I thought as I worked, I began to feel a burning in my legs, even though I wasn't tired, so I kept going, that was supposed to make you stronger. I had to go back and empty my coat four or five times, as I wasn't exactly the incredible bulk. What amazed me though is that the space in these trees had to be like forty percent apples, because of how many there were. It was getting late and I was just about to head back, when I heard the sound of... Snoring. By this point I had been trying to move as fluently as Conner would from AC3, it was surprisingly more comfortable, and consumed less energy. I get really close and notice it's a sleeping mare with a prismatic mane. I was just gonna either leave her be or wake her up softly. Then I realized she loved fooling with people err, ponies. So I would be doing everypony a favor with one little act. I cupped my hands over my mouth and slowly brought myself directly next to her ear.
"RISE AND SHINE SWEETHEART!!!!!" I shouted near royal canterlot level. Needless to say, she woke up. Rainbow jumped with a contorted look of shock, anger, and a little bit of fear on her face, almost slamming her head into the branch above. Also needless to say, I was laughing my freaking ass off at her reaction. "GOD! I didn't know you could jump that high without using your wings!"
"What the hay! What was that?!" She shouted at me obviously pissed.
"That was a prank, and y'know your kinda adorable when your surprised." I say this and she blushes a little, OOOOOOkaaaaay. "Anyway you've been napping here for a couple of hours at least, this entire time I've been jumping from tree to tree, working for AJ and training myself. After all, a lot of crazy shit is bound to happen here." She cringed when I swore.
"Why did you use that word?" She asked innocently.
"Where I come from we use those words to emphasize our points or just how strongly we feel about something, it seems to work."
"Well, try not to do it so much here kay?" Her eyes were seriously wide GOD IS THIS WORLD MADE OF DIABETES!!!. " By the way, why have you been trying to go fast in the trees?"
"It will probably come in handy during winter." Which is true.
"Okay and lastly, do you have a crush on me?" The question caught me seriously off guard, and not knowing what her reaction would be to yes or no. I decided to just let my jaw drop slightly and raise an eye brow. She started laughing, "Celestia, I was joking, you really are gullible. Now, I wanna see how fast you can go through these trees." She said demandingly. I said nothing, instead I got up turned around and immediately started tree running back to AJs', Rainbow was keeping up beside me in flight the whole time. It took only a couple of minutes for me to get all the way back to AJ's house, at the end I wasn't even exhausted considering how little energy I actually used. "So, how was that?" I asked her hoping that she would be impressed.
"Welllllll, considering the amount of manuevering you had to do along with your restricted coordination, I'd say you were going pretty dang fast. I doubt many things would be able to catch you in the trees." She said slightly impressed with my speed. "However that's just if whatever is chasing you is restricted to the trees. I could easily catch you if I flew." She said returning to her arrogance, which actually made me smile.
"Anyway, I actually wanted to talk to you about something this morning, but I couldn't find you." She nodded, practically saying 'Okay go ahead'. "Last night Twilight invaded my memories while I slept, I don't know exactly what she learned about me and my world, but I kind of feel guilty for two reasons."
"Whaaat reasons?" She asked rather suspiciously.
"Okay...." I then inform her of my actual age, name, and the fact that the reason I knew who they all were was because of a the show. I then told her that when Twilight invaded my memories, that I had gone through hers, I gave her a vague description of what I had seen.
"Okay, so you're saying you're actually the same age as us. You knew what would happen because of a story someone in your world spun up. And Twilight is a pervert?" I nodded before we both started laughing.
"I also understand how she thinks kinda, so I know that she won't tell anypony, even the princess. Unless I give her a reason to think I'm dangerous. However, one reason is all she will need." I say in a very serious tone, that seemed to scare her a little.
"So then, whattya wanna do." She asks, pretty much just wanting to hang out.
"First I have to drop off the rest of these apples, then I'll see what we can get done. By the way, I kinda snagged the ability to build stuff from Twilights' mind as well, she studies waaaaay too much for her own good." She seemed to lighten up a bit, which felt good.
I hand the apples in and get a bag with a good amount of bits in it, I just plop that into my pocket, wave goodbye, then head back to Dash. "Damn, I know I said we would hang out, but I should get back. It's getting pretty dark out." I say this and she seems to frown for a second, before of course shaking it off.
"Whatever, it's cool. I am gonna hold you to hanging out tomorrow though." She says smiling before she flies off.
