Pinkie Pie, Nyan Cat and Celestia
Another kinda boring day at Sugar Cube Corner for Pinkie Pie. Nothing awesomly fun or dangerous has sprung up for two weeks and Pinkie was getting restless. Pony's were just going around their usual boring business and none of Pinkie's friends had come to visit. Suddenly, a seemingly never ending rainbow filled the sky with a BANG!
'Ooooooo, finally something! Rainbow Dash must have done a sonic rainboom!' the party pony thought. She trotted out the door to congradulate Rainbow on peforming the trick. But instead of seeing a boasting Rainbow, Pinkie heard something singing! She struggled to make sense of it. Finally, she heard what it was singing: nyan nyan nyan ...over and over in a very catchy tune. Ponies came from the streets and houses to listen. Suddenly, they started dancing and singing the strange, catchy tune. Pinkie could only watch as one by one, all of her friends came to the town centre and started laughing and singing. Even Twilight was amongst them! Suddenly, a grey cat with a strange, cookie-type body zoomed across the sky with rainbows flying out behind it, singing the same tune. Pinkie refused the notion of dancing and followed the strange cat. It kept on flying around with the rainbows untill finally it came down to earth, still singing, with rainbows still flying behind it, next to the Everfree Forest.
"What are you?" Pinkie asked as soon as it's feet touched grass. It seemed to posses Pinkie's strange and annoying habit of never being able to sit still. It ran around her, still with rainbows coming from it.
"Nyan nyan "
"What? I don't understand. What are you?" Pinkie asked again.
"Nyan nyan nyan nyan "
"Fine. You look like a cat with a poptart as a body and all you say is 'nyan nyan nyan'...I shall call you Nyan Cat"
"Nyan " Pinkie Pie watched as Nyan Cat flew around with the rainbows and it's song. Pinkie started to feel Nyan Cat's absolute joy and soon started singing along too.
CANTERLOT
"What is that singing? Guards! Find out what that singing is and what all those rainbows are for!" Celsetia shouted at her guards. When they flew off, she breathed in a delicious smell.
"Mmmmmmmm...poptarts...." She walked to the kitchen and requested a strawberry poptart, only to find that none were there. With a scream of rage, she teleported back to her room.
"Sister, what is the meaning of all this shouting? I'm trying to sleep!" Luna said through the little window the two had seperating their rooms. Luna had finally stopped with 'Old Pony Talk' as it was called and started to talk like ponies did in this century.
"I'm sorry Luna, but I smell poptarts and I want one" Celestia whined. Luna sighed. Celestia's fasination with poptarts was getting out of hoof.
"It's coming from Ponyville!" Celestia shouted suddenly, her keen nose acting overtime. Luna hit her head on the window frame with shock from her sister's loud voice and blacked out for a little bit. Celestia couldn't care less and flew down to the source of the delicious smell of poptarts.
PONYVILLE
Pinkie Pie gave in and started dancing with her new-found friend and the guards that had flew down to find out what was going on. Suddenly, a shadow covered them. Pinkie looked up and saw Princess Celestia with a very 'Hungry For Poptarts' look on her face. Pinkie looked at Nyan Cat, then back at Celestia.
"No! You can't eat it! It's too special!" Pinkie shouted at the Princess.
"Nyn nyan nyan!" Nyan Cat never strayed from that tune, but seemed to sound slightly paniked.
"Poptarts! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" Celestia salivated. A splot of drool hit one of her guards, but he didn't seem to notice. Before she could sink her teeth into Nyan Cat, Luna appeared.
"Celestia! Stop! This innocent creature..." CHOMP! With one big bite, Celestia had snuffed out the picture of joy and cuteness.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" Pinkie screamed. Suddenly, she pulled out her party cannon and shot it at Celestia with such force, she got sent to the Sun.
"Thankyou Pinkie Pie. I was going to send her to the Sun soon if her fasination with poptarts didn't stop."
"Nyan Cat!" wailed Pinkie Pie.
"Hmmmmmm...I know!" Luna said. With a flash of light, a CD, DVD, a plush toy of Nyan Cat, rainbows and a little robot Nyan Cat which sung the tune fell into Pinkie's hooves.
"There. Now no pony will try to eat it and it will always be with you"
"T...thankyou Princess." Pinkie Pie stifled some sniffles, walking back to Sugar Cube Corner. Luna dismissed the lack of coutesy. She and the guards that had been dancing nearby flew back to Canterlot. All the ponies that were affected by Nyan Cat were just standing in the middle of the street.
"What's going on?" they all said at once. One by one, they tottered back to the daily boring activities, noticing that Luna was sending a message around Equestria about her sister's flight to the Sun and not caring a bit. Fortunately, none off them remembered Nyan Cat except for Pinkie, who had by this time, shut herself in her room. She loved all of her Nyan Cat things and nopony clued on to the memory of Nyan Cat's cuteness and catchy tune making them dance or ever saw Pinkie's latest objects except at really wild party's that nopony remembered. But all of them say that at night, if you listen really hard, you can hear a strange and catchy tune leaking from Pinkie's open window. It was a familiar tune. Some even say that really late at night, when Pinkie shuts off the music, a grey cat with a poptart body and rainbows flying around behind it can be seen singing the same tune...
