I snatch the note off the door, and shove it in my pocket. Quietly, I walk in. Owlicious makes me jump, from his piercing stare. I flip on the lights. Owlicious is gripping a piece of paper. I shrug, and walk into the kitchen. Twi had eaten. She's an awesome friend. I guess I could say she was my best friend. I liked the others too, but I was close to Twilight. The date with Rarity would have been better if the food was faster. I clean up a plate Twilight had accidentally left out. I wash up, and Rarity's lipstick mark is still on my cheek. I clean it off, not really caring about it anymore.
I guess she liked me and all, but over the years, I didn't like her as much. Trudging up to my room, I fell asleep.

I wake up to see Twilight gone early. The mare liked to get out early.
"You two have fun. " Twilight shut the door behind Rarity and Spike, running off to a Pinkie Pie party.
"At least I have you, Owlicious. " The filly smiled, but it was soon lost. "Owlicious, who am I kidding?" The mare slumped against the wall. "You don't have to deal with emotions, you lucky duck. "
Twilight neighed sadly. Grabbing parchment and a quill, she began her letter to Celestia.
Dear Princess Celestia,
I don't have much energy to write today. Heartbreak makes me tired.
I like Spike.
Spike likes Rarity.
Simple as that. Princess, I don't know what to do.
Help.
Your Faithful Student,
Twilight Sparkle
Twilight clenched her teeth. "Owlicious, can you hide this from Spike?"
The owl nodded, and grabbed the paper. Walking into the kitchen, a note sat on the fridge.
Hey, Twilight. When I bought supplies for my date from Applejack, I got you a pie and some cider. Enjoy.
Twilight smirked, and opened the door. Pulling out the food, she set the table for one. Trotting into the library, she pulled out a book. Daring Do and the Crystal Kingdom. She trotted back to the kitchen, and began to eat. Reading the book and eating the pie made the mare feel lonelier. She washed it down with a chug of cider. Putting the containers in the garbage, Twilight scribbled a note down.
Spike-
I'm going to bed early. Feel free to lock up when you get home.
The filly stuck it on the door, and trotted up to her room, falling asleep quickly, heavy thoughts on her mind.
