Twilight Sparkle is stressed, for some very good reasons: it's only been a few weeks since she was moved to Canterlot Castle to assume control of the duties of a princess, and she's still getting used to the constant stream of paperwork; she's trying to figure out when and how she'll be able to see her Ponyville friends again; and, to top it off, her first day off from princess duty is the night of her first date. So, seeing her obvious stress, Twilight's one and only BBBFF Shining Armor decided to tell her how his life started down the road leading to his crowning Prince of the Crystal Empire...
