Cutie Mark Crusaders: Lemonade Sellers! Yay!
Heaven
Previous ChapterNext ChapterThere was a small line of ponies that were eagerly waiting for their turn to taste the infamous Cutie Mark Crusader Lemonade. One of the ponies who were in the small line of ponies was a young pegasus pony colt that seemed to be feeling quite nervous.
The line moved, and he was now the next pony to be served, right after the three fillies are done chatting with their good friend Ruby.
“Here ya go, Ruby!” Scootaloo gave the glass of lemonade to their friend. “And oh, no no no no!” she said, stopping Ruby's attempt at grabbing two bits to pay. “It's on the house!”
“Huh? Really?” Ruby asked, doubtful. Her doubts quickly faded after seeing the smiles and nods of the three crusaders. “Well, okay then. Thanks so much, girls!” and she drank the beverage.
“Don't worry about it,” Apple Bloom said as Ruby placed the empty glass on the table. “We do owe you for the paint you gave us for our lemonade stand, after all.”
And the four giggled, making Featherweight shift uncomfortably. He dared looking at the sweet white unicorn filly, but as soon as he saw her about to look at him, he stared elsewhere, pretending to stare...elsewhere.
“Hi Featherweight!” Sweetie Belle greeted the colt, which was a little bit too excited than she planned.
The colt stared ahead, and noticed that Ruby was no longer there. He walked forward with shivering hooves. Stopping, he glanced back at the three fillies.
“Back so soon huh?” Apple Bloom said. “You here for another glass of lemonade, or...” she leaned on Sweetie Belle and nudge her with a shoulder. “...for another ‘heavenly drink’?”
Scootaloo laughed while Sweetie Belle pushed Apple Bloom away from her with burning cheeks.
Featherweight drew circles on the sand with a hoof as he hung his head low to hide his burning cheeks. Taking a few deep breaths, and not minding the few ponies behind him, he lifted his head back to see...only Sweetie Belle.
“Were are you two going!?” the unicorn filly shouted at her two giggling friends who were running away from the lemonade stand.
An awkward silence hung in the air.
“S-so, uh...” Featherweight started, catching the shy look of the unicorn filly. He looked elsewhere, not minding his red cheeks. “...um...one glass of lemonade...please?”
“Um...sure...” Sweetie Belle replied as she nervously grabbed the pitcher. She has no idea why she's really nervous though, but before she could concentrate, her grip slipped, making the pitcher fall back on the table, and fell on its side, making its golden liquid content splash towards the stunned pegasus colt. “Omigosh! Featherweight! I'm so so sorry!” She said as she frantically searched for a towel. She found one. She grabbed it, and ran to the colts side and threw the towel on his head. “Are you okay? I'm sorry... I'm so so sorry!”
The silence was too painful for the little filly, but it lasted for only a few seconds before it was broken by a chuckle from the colt. “No worries, Sweetie Belle...” he said as he dried himself with the towel.
She looked away. “Y-you're not mad at me?”
He chuckled nervously. “Not really.”
“Hey! You two!”
The two young ponies blinked and turned their heads towards the lemonade stand, where two smirking fillies were busy attending to their amused customers.
“Could you two do your little lovey-dovey elsewhere? You're blocking our customers!”
“We're not being lovey-dovey!!!” Sweetie Belle and Featherweight shouted back at the laughing Apple Bloom and Scootaloo. The two looked at each other, and then looked elsewhere with reddening cheeks.
