Regal, so distant,
Pure, magnificent,
Nothing but a mask,
Focused on a task.

Betrayed, heartbroken,
Pariah, forsaken,
Alone till redemption,
Friendship in creation.

Two sisters, one broken trust,
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust,
Forgotten are taboos, niceties and airs,
Just two broken sisters, two broken mares.
