When Spike hears an old zebra legend which tells of fabulous treasures to be found in the Everfree Forest, his dragon instincts immediately kick in. He's going to find those treasures, come hell or high water! The Cutie Mark Crusaders soon join him on his quest. Will they succeed, and come back laden with gold and diamonds? Or does the forest have other plans for them?
