Vinyl Scratch looked down at all of the ponies who had come to see her, as she finished up her last set of the night.

She thought to her self "Whoa, this is awesome. All these ponies are here for me. Well let's give 'em what they came for", as she cranked the volume to deafening levels.

Then she spotted her marefriend Octavia cringing in the back. Octavia had agreed to come and support Vinyl, even though she didn't particularly enjoy the music.

Octavia, although the music was too loud, saw why Vinyl liked it. It was very powerful and moving, albeit disruptive. She looked up and smiled as Vinyl bounced to the music at her turntables.

Vinyl announces the end of the concert, and turns to go backstage.

Octavia uses her backstage pass to get past the tough looking bodyguards and into Vinyl's backstage room.

"Great show tonight Vinyl", she says as they hug.

"Just let me pack up, then we can get out of here"

"The crowd really seemed to enjoy your show tonight", Octavia said, a smile creeping across her face.

"Well I am just that awesome", Vinyl says as she grins, and begins to magically pack away her turntable.

Octavia laughs and than replies, "I have to say you are quite awesome. I wish i could see the ponies i play for enjoy themselves as much."

"Well, ya know they probably enjoy your music just as much as mine, but all those fancy ponies just don't know how to have a good time."

"Yeah, besides, I guess that sort of behavior isn't warranted at a string quartet...", Octavia giggles.

"I could come to one of your recitals to kick it up a notch", Vinyl said, only half joking. "Well, I'm about done here. Wanna get going?

Octavia stands and stretches. "Sure, let's go."

Vinyl takes Octavia's hoof in hers and walks out into the night.
