//-------------------------------------------------------// Discord's Rage -by Slick Ink- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Visit //-------------------------------------------------------// The Visit                                 THIS FAN-FIC IS FROM DISCORD'S POINT OF VIEW "Canterlot." I uttered the word aloud. "Canterlot." I said again, scratching my chin. Canterlot was always full of commotion, especially just before Hearth's Warming Eve. Ponies were everywhere, doing last-minute shopping, or last-minute preparations, or perhaps even just enjoying the view. While I was just going nowhere. I didn't have a place to be, I didn't exactly have something I wanted to be doing, just walking. As I looked at the shops on either side of the streets I saw fresh baked banana bead to my left, with various other food items, and flowers to my right, lots of different kinds of flowers. As I looked at the bouquet of red roses to my right the sweet-scent of the banana bread lifted me high. Or so  though. Apparently it was actually my wings lifting me higher by the second. "Hey, stop it!" I yelled at my wings not turning away from the bouquet of roses. "Excuse me Sir, may I help you?" I turned to see standing  in front of me the shopkeeper of most likely the rose bouquet. I looked at the pony to examine him. The pony had a dark-green hide, that seamed to scream, Hearth's Warming Eve. It had a light-purple and light-blue mane, that curled u at the end. She wore a brown home-made hat, made of yarn, which had bells jangling around it. I replied, "Why, yes, maybe. Um... Are those roses for sale?"                                                                                             ~~~ Setting the dinner table all by my self, I quickly snapped my fingers. Before me appeared a vase just large enough for the roses I'd boughten, placing the roses inside the vase I paced it in the center of the table. Realizing I'd forgotten the napkins I snapped my fingers once more, and they appeared on the table, in their correct spots, all folded and everything.  Then I snapped my fingers once more and appeared in Ponyville, at Town Hall. Deciding not to snap my fingers but to run I ran all the way to Fluttershy's cottage. When I reached there I gave a knock. All that I heard in return was a gasp for breath. Sensing something was wrong I knocked again. "Now, then, Fluttershy darling, it's me. Are you decent?" When I realized the reason I asked that question was not because I didn't want to catch her without clothes, [ which he admitted to himself was a bad excuse ]  but because I was afraid of what I would find in there. "I'm coming in now darling," I said walking in. Inside I saw Fluttershy lying on her back, with Angel Bunny next to her jumping up and down with a piece of Celery. ''Get away from her you rat! Look what you've done!" I said. Running up to Fluttershy I kicked the rabbit away from her so that he hit the wall. Looking down upon the pony before me I whispered, "Fluttershy, Futtershy can you hear me?" Kneeling down I leaned close.   Her eyes opened and she looked up at me, "Yes, yes I can Discord. I...I..." Her voice fell apart and her head fell against my knee. "It's going to be okay," I said. "You are going to be fine." Even as the words came out of my mouth I was beginning to sob already. "I can save you." I whispered. Standing up I snapped my claws. A few seconds later I heard a sigh, and then it hit me. The reality, that my best friend, had passed.
