"Alright, somepony want to tell me just what the BUCK is going on here?! How could you let Discord turn you so easily?" Dusk demanded, looking and sounding really pissed off. Trixie placed the unconscious Fluttershy on the nearest table and began to fan her face. That left Applejack to explain.

"I ain't let Discord discordify me." she lied. Dusk just stared blatantly at the Earth Pony.

"Trixie, you can multi-task, you did it as a showmare by displaying your magic tricks and lying at the same time. Go." he said. Trixie whimpered slightly at the topic and Dusk's forcefulness of the issue.

"W-w-well, we were told to play a game of maze after Discord gave us a riddle regarding the Elements of Harmony. We all figured he meant that they were hidden in the maze. Before we knew it, we found ourselves teleported there. As we were playing, Discord must have interfered with our personalities, causing an inverse effect." she replied. Dusk nodded.

"So you lost your confidence, Applejack lost her ability to tell the truth, Fluttershy... gained your confidence and then some, Rarity fell in love with a rock the size of Rainbow Dash's ego, and the pegasus in question..."

"Betrayed us in order to protect Cloudsdale." Fluttershy said, waking from her stupor.

Dusk turned to face her. She seemed brighter than before. "Ah, joined the land of the living, have you?" he asked. Fluttershy frowned at him.

"Yeah, thanks a lot, jackass." she replied, her colour fading once again.

"I'll be much obliged to do it again, possibly in a few seconds. Trixie, what was this riddle Discord gave you all?" Dusk said.

"Twists and turns are my master plan, then find the Elements back where you began." Trixie recited. Dusk thought about the riddle once more, then turned to the Library storage cupboard. He opened the door and found an unfamiliar box. Bringing it over, he opened the lid to find the Elements.

"You stupid girls. Of course the Elements would be here. Back where we began." he said, tossing each pony their respective Elements.

"B-but what about the twists and turns part?" Trixie asked.

"Discord was describing his plan." Dusk said. Trixie felt ashamed of herself.

"Okay, so why should I help you?" Fluttershy asked, tossing her Element back to him.

"Because Discord needs to be stopped. He's a threat to Equestria, to us and to the Princesses, and I won't let anypony or anything get in the way of defeating threats to the Princesses, that includes you. I'll tie you down and glue your Element to your head if I have to." he replied, walking up to Fluttershy and shoving the Element around her neck. Fluttershy huffed, but took it nonetheless.

"That's all well and good, but what about the others? Rarity's probably still trying to lug her rock back to Ponyvile and Rainbow Dash is in Cloudsdale. How do you plan to get them here?" Pinkie Pie asked, taking her element from Dusk. The Unicorn in turn snapped his fingers, and in a bright flash, Rarity was teleported along with her rock. The sound of Rainbow Dash hitting the inside of the door alerted them to her presence within the Library.

"Lemme go! I have to protect Cloudsdale from danger!" she demanded.

"And you think being there at Cloudsdale will help achieve that goal instead of attacking the threat directly?" Dusk asked. Dash was brought out of her panicked rush as she thought Dusk's words over in her head. He passed her the Element of Loyalty and Rarity the Element of Generosity. He then donned his Gauntlet of Magic.

"Come on, then. Let's go kick Discord's ass." he said. The girls all shouted out in agreement.

Discord appeared in a flash of light just outside Ponyville's borders. He chuckled to himself before snapping his fingers. Ponyville's houses and buildings were turned upside down, some of them relocated. Lands began to rise in massive chunks, floating in the checkered pink sky. Clouds of cotton candy rained chocolate milk over the lands.

"Ah, it's so much fun to cause chaos unopposed. Nothing and nopony can stop me now!" he said triumphantly, throwing his arms in the air.

"Almost nothing, Discord!" Fluttershy challenged, herself and four of the Elements of Harmony stood together. Discord was about to make a mockery of the Discorded Elements, but noticed something odd.

"Hold on, aren't there six of you?" he asked. Before an answer came, he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around quickly. The only things he saw were a pair of glowing red eyes and a fist. Things went black for a moment before he found himself hurled closer to the ponies bearing the Elements.

"Very good, Discord. Tell the Daconequus what he's won, girls." Dusk said. Each of the bearers chuckled.

"A Millennia supply of stone!" they chanted together. Discord growled and stood up, brushing himself off.

"That was a cheap shot, Dusk Shine. Not what I'd expect of the famous student of Celestia." he said, ignoring the bad joke.

"You know, I've lived in Canterlot most of my life, I've seen your statue a thousand times going through the Royal gardens, but it still amazes me to this day, that you can be called the spirit of Chaos and Disharmony. Your goals are so... uninspiring, measly when you think about it. I mean, honestly, Chocolate rain? Pinkie Pie would have a field day for the rest of her life. As for Ponyville, Pinkie's basement was more chaotic than this." Dusk replied. Discord growled at the insult. He was the Spirit of Chaos, and no measly Unicorn was going to tell him otherwise.

"Oh, nice use of wording, Dusk. Eat any books, lately?" he teased. Dusk just huffed in amusement at the Draconequus. "Fine then, you want Chaos? I'll give you Chaos. How about like the olden days. You and me, single combat?" he offered. Dusk, being both intelligent and charismatic, couldn't turn down such an opportunity. To go one on one with the Legendary Discord was a dream come true. The Unicorn smiled and leaned forward.

"I thought you'd never ask." he said.

Rarity leaned over to Pinkie. "Why are we being ignored?" she asked.

"Dusk wants to have a go against Discord himself before using the Elements. It's a guy thing." Pinkie replied, smiling sweetly. "We can sit over there on the sidelines and watch." she said, pointing out a bench for them all to sit on.

"Well that ain't mighty convenient or nothin'." Applejack said, trotting over to the bench. The girls all sat down side by side and watched as Discord and Dusk faced off.

"You know, I imagined you to be a little taller, Dusk." Discord commented.

"And I expected you wouldn't talk so much, Discord. But hey, it's a chaotic world we live in." he replied. "Can we just get this thing started already?" he asked.

No sooner had he asked, than Discord flew forward, catching him off guard. Dusk felt his head collide with Discord's. As he closed his eyes to try and suppress the pain, he felt the Draconequus' body coiling around him like a giant snake.

"You think I can't multi-task, Dusk Shine?" the spirit of chaos teased, tightening his grip. Dusk felt his body being squeezed by the sheer strength of Discord's body.

"I'm sorry, but all I'm hearing at this point is: 'Hit me, Dusk. Please kill me? God, this shade of brown makes me look fat'!" Dusk challenged.

"Why you little... wait, does it?" he asked, checking himself over. In the confusion, Dusk managed to get a hand free and he grabbed Discord by the face. Like an alligator, he began clenching. Discord could only get out muffled sputters from between his lips.

"You didn't think it'd be that easy, did you, Discord?" Dusk asked, throwing his arm forward. Discord was forced to uncoil from around the Unicorn as he was thrown forward, hitting the ground like a whip. Dusk shifted his grip on Discord's face and pushed him into the ground. he then began running around, dragging Discord's face along it. Dirt and rocks came up around him.

"Enjoying your train set, are you, Dusk?" Discord asked, standing in the middle of the circle. Dusk's eyes widened before he looked down, and sure enough, he was dragging a model train along a railway. The Unicorn threw the train at Discord, hitting in the head. "OW! Really now!"

Dusk dove for the Draconequus, knocking him down. "That's a mean twinkle in your eyes you have there, Dusky." Discord said, noting the shade of red his eyes had turned.

"All the better to glare at you, dear." Dusk replied, head-butting Discord before standing up and holding him into the air. Dusk flashed a glance at the girls and they all nodded, standing up from their bench and taking a circle around them.

"Aw, had enough games? It was just getting fun." Discord teased.

"Sorry, Discord. But I have sciency stuff to get back to, you wouldn't understand." Dusk replied.

"Oh, I'm truly hurt by that statement. Very well, lock me up and throw away the key, I will not resist." Discord said, dramatically.

With another nod from Dusk, the girls and he activated their Elements of Harmony. It was working. Each gem from the elements were glowing, and each bearer had begun floating in the air. Dusk grinned as his eyes turned a bright white. There was a slow and bright flash of white light before... nothing. Absolutely nothing happened. Discord was still standing there, his arms crossed. In fact, the only thing that had changed was Discord had a big target covering his stomach.

"Oops, did I forget to mention? There's a reason I turned your friends. Granted, fun was a part of it, but with their personalities engineered to an inverse of the Elements of Harmony, your little light show there won't work on me. In short, Dusky; I've won!" Discord then began to break out in to a chorus of laughter.

The six ponies were unsure on how to proceed. Should they try again? Should they attack Discord together? Dusk chose to attack himself. Having thrown Discord to the ground just before, it should be easy to do again. Sadly, it was not. Discord began to use tricks he'd refrained from using before. Dusk was thrown seven ways to Sunday. He took punches and kicks and tail whips to the face, torso, legs... he was bruised from head to hoof.

The girls watched in shock and horror as their friend, partner and in some cases, lover was sent flying into the air, before grabbed in a corkscrew headed straight for the ground. They backed up just before Unicorn touched dirt. A huge explosion tore through the area, blowing the ponies back.

In the cloud of dust, Discord emerged, holding Dusk's Gauntlet. The gem was cracked and the gauntlet itself was bent in all sorts of places. The ponies looked on at the spectacle, seeing the item that belonged to Dusk last. They gasped in horror as the realisation dawned upon them. Discord truly had won, Dusk... was dead.

Okay, so another chapter. Hope this entices you until next chapter. I mentioned in a blog that I was going to use a TFS reference. I wound up using three at the most, but not the one I'd planned on, so that will be coming out next chapter. Until then, Rate and Comment.
