Twilight kept a brisk pace as she walked towards the Castle, she had her saddle bag filled with things she thought she would need for the coming days and her ID, all visitors and citizens had been issued them after the Changeling attack.Celestia and Luna had invited her to the Castle for something important. They had said they were going to show her something but not what, that's when she tripped in the least graceful fashion; into FancyPants "Oh gosh I'm sorry!, I didn't see where I was going and-" FancyPants cut her off," My dear Princess it's quite alright, the rain has made the road quite a mess-oh um- but it's an honor to be in your presence" he and Fleur bowed to her"good day my Princess" "ah-good day!" and she uncomfortably slunk by, even though Twilight had apologized and took FancyPants's warning about the road, she still felt weird about him bowing to her afterward. That wasn't important now though, she had to get to the Castle!

"Oh Twilight you're here" Celestia said as she put on a genuine smile, Luna did the same but her mind was elsewhere Twilight might be ready for this sister, what if she can't handle this?This is far from acceptable but her mind quickly jumped back when Celestia nudged her a little bit and smiled wider, Luna did the same but in a way how could you blame their plastic smiles? both Sisters often thought about their pasts, StarSwirl warned them that dwelling on the past will "get you nowhere", but Celestia could not because someone-something was always telling her that remember when you let me out? that was fun,lose control,why not let it happen again?go wild, get angry, GET INFURIATED-but Celestia never could, she had a kingdom to rule, and a promise to keep.Luna also had a voice, it was NightMare Moon, she constantly tried to egg her against her sister, but the Elements of Harmony had forced the creature into submission, Luna can no longer communicate with NightMare Moon."Twilight my faithful student, always in perfect timing" Twilight bowed her head and ran up and hugged Luna and Celestia "do you know why we called you down here?" Luna said has Twilight stepped back." oh yes! uhh just a moment" as Twilight searched through her bag Celestia heard the voice again she is just a stupid fool, she didn't even come prepared in *our presence*** Celestia ignored it like the countless times she did before, this time was different, it was just a above a whisper "did- you- hear that too?" Celestia blood turned cold, and Luna fell out of her throne "oh it was just a sparrow" Twilight knew something was wrong, she did hear a voice coming from Celestia saying that Twilight was a fool, and "our presence" was in there, but she just heard the cosmic background static and gurgling behind that. "are you two ok?" Luna got back on her throne and answered Twilight with "yes-I -I just tripped" Twilight gave a puzzled look and without words all three went down a long drawn out hallway to wall" um, you wanted to show me a wall?" Twilight Chimed in before Luna almost snapped " It's not the wall, it is what is inside" Celestia's horn glowed with her magic and almost suddenly the wall went into a case of sorts behind it, Luna and Celestia walked casually in, Twilight almost hid behind Luna, with a small spell, the Torched inside the room were lit and the room brightened. But all there were were book, statues and more Books-Twilight almost fainted at the sight of Papyrus that was also stacked along the walls. "how-why-what-what is this place!?!" Twilight Grinned as she zoomed from every single shelf, luna thought to herselfthis is definitely something she would be excited about,some of these books are over two thousand years old eventually Twilight calmed down"wait why is no one here? no guards-or librarians" Twilight said as she continued down the halls. "this is the Ethereal Library, the history of every kingdom, old new-alive or in ruins, this Library holds every-" Twilight fainted, the two sisters helped her after a small bit of laughter.

After a six hour long vague tour, The Three princesses settled down with a bit of tea in the garden."I don't need to ask you, but what do you think of the library?" Luna asked after she sipped her White Tea."It was amazing! there are so many shelves and sections I'm not sure if we even saw them all!" Twilight almost spilled her Tea, Celestia caught it before it even tipped over, no one had noticed, after all Luna and Twilight had been chatting away, neither of them noticed that Celestia had been staring off into space Why not kill them? they're chatter is making me crazy,your sister doesn't understand her place. She is just faking it, she is still evil, stop her before you cannot, you can no longer use the elements- oh yes that reminds-the Purple one is a fool, also her voice is very irritating, She does not deserve all this power that she has gotten by becoming an alicorn infact- "SHUT YOUR MOUTH YOU FILTHY BEAST,SHE DESERVES HER CROWN AS MUCH AS-!" Celestia stopped herself after she realized she was yelling when Twilight looked over in terror Good job, you have managed to scare one of the few people who have loved you "teacher! what's wrong!?! are you ok?" Luna said nothing, just looked at her sister, almost as if with her eyes she knew something was wrong already. "i'm fine... sorry, I don't know what happened, I just kind of- lost myself" Celestia looked down "oh-that's ok, Luna are you ok?","Twilight there is something you need to know about what happened during... NightMare Moon, it is in the Library, Neither of us can bare to tell you ourselves, it's too painful" Luna looked like she was going to cry,"Oh...ok, where would it be" Celestia hugged her sister with her wing." Twilight" "yes Teacher?" "there is something I need to tell you" "ok, lay it on me" "Sometimes... when you go searching for knowledge... It can only lead to despair"

Celestia didn't ever tell me where I would find it, well I guess i'm just going to have to look myself Twilight opened the Ethereal Library to see all the torches lit up as she opened the door,I need to find out where The Equestria section is After walking to an older looking section, she found an old poster of the Royal link.She followed the lines that started with Queen Galaxia and King Nebulous that split at Celestia and Luna, them Cadene started off at a different area along with Twilight, each had their Portrait with their Cutie mark at the bottom, she also noticed a number of court officials and other important looking ponies. That is when she found Prince Solaris and Prince Artemis I've never heard of them before she quickly found a shelf that had several singed books, each with The Mare in the Moon symbol on them, the shelf itself was burnt also, "There it is!" she found the First one and read the Title;"The History Of NightMare Moon" Twilight opened the book to find;

"It is known that Celestia has her limit, as does Luna, but what if it was broken? no is sure, because no one remembers"

Twilight opened the Page and began to read like countless times before, but a wave of doubt came of her when she saw a blood stain in the corner."No! I must keep start at least, if it becomes too much then I'll take a break."

The day was young, there was the normal chill in the air of the morning, Celestia razed her horn and Luna,her sister, lowered hers,As they did this, the Sun rose up with ease, and the moon lowered as Luna Lowered her horn. This was the rhythm of their life since for over a 300 years. They had defeated many a foe in their lifetime, from the Spirit of Chaos, to an evil King who enslaved his own kingdom, and countless others who they had found to be tainted by darkness,but today was different, Luna was hiding something. it was something dark and possibly dangerous, she had planned to sneak into the Chamber, it held items that were too powerful or dangerous to be destroyed, they could not fall into the wrong grasp, StarSwirl had been told the girls never to go into the chamber, "some objects could taint you just by looking at them". She was curious, the call of curiosity constantly made her wonder what was in there,even though her parents had also told her not to, but Luna wouldn't come alone, she had confided to Celestia ,or "Tia" as Luna called her, that she wanted to see what was in there" It must be known though That alicorns age much slower than any other pony, in fact Luna still looked and acted like a filly, Celestia also acted and looked like she was between a child and a teenager, but truly she was 340 years old. Time Passes slowly for an alicorn. Celestia also confided to Luna that she wanted to go into the Chamber,they devised a plan.

"the plan is we go in the middle of the night, our parents will be asleep, or be too busy with Auroria" the name dripped off of Celestia's tongue like poison. Luna, wearing her Paper Sailor hat, Re-lit the candle that almost went out agreed with Celestia's plan but then after a moment of thought "but what about the guards? if they see us, we'll get in big trouble though" Celestia calmly answered with "i'll make a shield spell so that we'll not only be invisible, but we will also not be able to be sense" "But Tia, you haven't perfected that one yet!" "don't worry Luna, I can do this" with a reassuring smile, the plan went into action, they just had to wait.

"This isn't as bad as I thought it would be, Why are they so scared? did they find something they shouldn't have? well only time will tell!" Twilight said enthusiastically

Celestia's horn glowed as she lowered the Sun to make way for the long winter night, Luna's own horn shined as she raised her magnificent silver sphere known to most as the Moon.Celestia took off their tiara and their royal garments and then took out their hats. "hey Tia..." Luna asked her elder sister shyly "Yes Luna? Is something bothering you?"," Um, do you know when Levier is coming back? she's been gone for awhile... do you think she got hurt" Luna hid behind her elder sister , hiding in her tail like she normally did when Levier wasn't there to comfort her " I think she can handle herself, she has a connection between every living thing remember? no creatures attack her, because they all love her-she takes care of them" Celestia looked on to where The path that cut it's way around the forest until it eventually became a mountain pass. Levier got herself in another fight with our parents again, they could have done something to her- no I must not those dark thoughts!I must stay strong for Luna! Celestia sighed heavily whenshe appeared. Auroria. "hello sister" Celestia glared at their youngest sister, Auroria was only 230 years old, a century and a decade behind Celestia, but she was the favored child of the three, it had been Luna, she was going to be the one to control the Stars, but when Auroria was born,she had been given the Title; "Shepherd of the Stars" hence why Luna could control the stars also, she had been trained, The training was hard,long and most of all painful, it tested her mind and her will power.But everything was taken from her when Auroria born.Celestia protested this but, she had been punished. That was along time ago, but for her, the constant mocking and flaunting of Auroria hurt her so much, but she would not let her speak to Luna in that sort of manner. "so, my dear sister, raising your objects again?, it's foolish to think you could ever amount to what I do" "SHUT YOUR MOUTH, I've had enough of your ignorance!" Auroria seemed surprised to see Celestia lash back at her so violently and quickly. "well,have it your way, i'm telling mother-or father, depends on which one is in a worse mood "fine. What do you want me to do, just leave Luna out of it" Auroria grew a wicked smile"I want you to steal mother's crown and garments-actually never mind, I have something better for you, I would like you to watch mother and father while they sleep, and report what they do back to me" "you are disgusting, mother and father do not want children, they have your hooves full with you" Auroria's smile disappeared, Celestia already knew why she wanted to her to watch them "never mind that then, how about this, I would like you to steal one of your teacher's books, his "diary" of some sorts-and not get caught" Celestia pushed Luna lightly back and walked up to Auroria "StarSwirl the Bearded is one of the greatest spell casters, even if we does not have have to advanced powers and alicorn does, he is quite powerful, I doubt that he wouldn't have some sort of protection spell, also it's not a diary "Fine, you'll just have to find another way" as she left,Auroria smirked and bit, she had something planned, Celestia knew it.Auroria either was going to embarrass her, or just wanted her to get in trouble.This would become a problem for Luna and Celestia's plan of their own.Luna looked over at her sister,she didn't need to say anything.Luna crept out of her tail,"Don't worry Luna, our plan will still go into action tonight, we have plenty of time","Tia it's not that i'm worried about...it's you, Auroria will probably act like she saw you creeping around before you even got the book, what does she have planned anyway?" "Luna I know eventually she'll get me in trouble, probably when I give it to her she'll tell StarSwirl she found it in our chambers, i'll get in trouble, and she'll be satisfied" "then why even do it?" "Luna, I promised Levier that while she was gone, I would protect you." "I can defend myself Tia, I can fight" Luna patted her horn, this made Celestia smile, and the two sisters laughed and told jokes to each other until it got too cold and they went inside.

However The fun did not last.After Celestia handed the book to Auroria(as she predicted) she told StarSwirled, but StarSwirl was more disappointed than angry, Celestia latter told him what really happened, and she was forgiven, StarSwirl were Celestia and Luna's mentor for as long as they can remember, so the three had a strong bond, to Luna,StarSwirl was like a grandfather, but also a friend who got her through her training to wield the stars. He also along with Celestia comforted her when that was taken from her. To Celestia he was also a friend, helping her contain the Sun's raw power that violently lashed out at her. They loved him and he loved them, to him though, they were almost family.He may not have understood the power of friendship, but he did do a lot in his time.After being forgiven and for apologizing, Celestia made her way to her and Luna's chamber. Their plan would be going into action soon.

Celestia and put black pant under Luna's eyes, Luna said she had heard that ninja put pant on their faces before going to missions-maybe her informants were a bit off, but Celestia thought it was cute and played along as well. Celestia channeled her will into her horn and it began to shine, after a flash of light, the two sisters were invisible, well except there shadows but that didn't occur to them while they put their dummies in their beds. "alright so the plan is we sneak through the hallway, past the court, through the gardens, into the gates, past the guards and finally through the corridor to the Library","OK, but what will we find it there? aren't there only books?","I know that, but I found out a while ago while walking around there that there's a secret passage, that's how we found out remember?","oh yeah! I forgot!" Luna giggled quietly as her elder sister lifted her onto her back, well not that you would have seen them.

Celestia motioned for Luna to be quiet as they crept quietly through the hallway,thankfully the Moon was New, and their shadows invisible, they still had to worry about their-well Celestia making enough noise to be audible, that's when and Idea struck her. Celestia bolted towards a balcony and unfolded her wings "Celestia what are you doing!" Luna said in anything but whisper "it would be faster for me to fly, if I go High enough, I might be able to get out of view of the guards-that reminds me, hold on tight!" Celestia rose up into the air faster than an arrow. Luna flapped her wings also, just to help.After some heavy breathing from both Celestia and Luna,Luna pinpointed their location, her eyes adjusted faster to the night sky than Celestia's.Luna steered Celestia down, Celestia could not see well, but she trusted her little sister's judgement.She still did even though she almost crashed into the Third floor. After a not-so-graceful landing, Celestia took Luna off her back, and reinforced her invisibility spell, they walked calmly knowing no one would be there, they did however have to worry about some pony possibly seeing them, Celestia was always one to plan for "just in cases". "Tia! there it is!" Luna said in an excited but hushed voice.Celestia walked first with Luna trailing behind.yes children, come here and let us out Luna stopped, Ti-Tia, did you hear that?", "here what sister? I only heard a crow" Luna sat back on Celestia, that was where she was most comfortable.Celestia opened the door to have a great wind almost blew her back, but then as soon as it came it stopped, It was an old musty, humid air, it was dark and dusty in the room."Tia I'm not sure If we shouldn't go in there..." "it's fine Luna" not that Celestia was sure of it though. Celestia lit the torches inside to find the room was even bigger than she imagined.Loads of scrolls,books,weapons, all sorts of statues were there, but one in particular caught the sister's eyes. It was a statue of two beasts fighting.One was of a lion like animal, it was actually more of a Lion without it's mane, It' mouth was in a growling ostion and it's sharp and wicked teeth shown. It had two floating crescents that surrounded a sphere.The other figure was behind the Maneless lion, it seemed afraid and it was thin, it also had the crescent and sphere.Luna and Celestia were drawn to it, they slowly stepped forward, then got faster and faster until-"Celestia no!" Luna cried out, she had snapped out of the gaze after a voice told her not to step closer, to stay away from this place and never look back, but Celestia did not hear it though, she at time was less in tune with everything.She had learned to ignore these because her parents taught her that to constant whispers of the past could "drive one mad".So she never heard it, but she did hear her sisters cry out for her,she stopped herself,but it was too late, a single strand of her hair touched the statue. It had lightly touched. But tragically, that was enough.

For the longest time Celestia trudged through the forest. She didn't care that her hooves hurt from walking,she didn't care that her body hurt because of the beating,she didn't care that the cuts she received stung at the humid air. All she could think about were the happy memories she had with her sister. Making her laugh,cheering her up when she cried, comforting her when she needed to be and most of all, how she had always loved and trusted her sister, even if that trust got her hurt or in trouble. She also thought about her mentor and how he loved to almost be a grandfather to her. But now, she had betrayed both of them. Yes StarSwirl was still alive, maybe not as young as he used to be,but he still was alive. Celestia never even got to say goodbye. Eventually her hunger and fatigue got the better of her, and she fell asleep on a somewhat sunny hill."mi-miss?" a little filly asked her just as Celestia fell asleep, she opened a snake eye,it was crystal blue. The filly was a grayish white and had a long yellow mane,Celestia coughed a bit and answered in a scratchy-tired voice "what is it my dear" she still managed to put on a smile even though she was still wounded badly, "if it wouldn't be much trouble... could you help me find ManeHattan?" Celestia blew some hair out of her face and stood up,she was quite skinny, but this filly needed somepony to help her, even if Celestia was banished and no longer a princess, she would help anypony who needed it. The little filly was a unicorn, but she was extremely thin and pale. Celestia lifted her onto her back like she used to do with Luna before she got too big. It was a an old feeling, but once in a very long time, she felt she had given true kindness, in a short burst of light, a color appeared in her mane, it was a light friendly green. The filly's eyes widened at the sight of the green,"miss, your mane is green now" "whoa-wait what?" then she saw the strip of green hair that came down from her head. after miles of walking and keeping a looked out, Celestia felt as she was feeling followed, "miss, are you ok? you seem on edge-I never got your name, what is it, that way I can address you properly-oh yeah my name Is Lightning Spark" "My name is Celestia, once co-ruler of Equestria" The filly fell off Celestia's back "this is the best day ever!first I get saved but then I find out my savory is a princess-er was a Princess-sorry that was rude" The filly got on Celestia back again and they continued walking. "um, Princess, I have a question" "yes Spark?" "it's almost six and the moon is still up, their been almost no light all day" Celestia stopped "i'm sorry Spark, but I-I can't raise the sun now, my sister will no longer lower the Moon-she's not what she used to be,something's taken over her" "oh... I'm sorry" for the rest of the walk out of the forest they did not utter a word, predators tend to come where the easy picking are, and sense ponies have their livestock and their children somewhat close by, the easy pickings are closer to the ponies and their villages-two weakened by hunger would be a snack for a Timber wolf.

"ok, this is as far as I can go, if I come any closer the guards will probably kill me" it had taken over a month to get to ManeHattan "princess...Thank you" Lightning Spark ran through the streets to a apartment building with two opened armed ponies letting her in. In that month she had also gained other colors she earned Purple for generosity and the green started to take up most of her head, that's when the Pink represented mirth-she had made Lightning Spark giggle and laugh when she was afraid. But most plants did not survive without sunshine. The occasional EverGreen poked it's head up, but other trees lost their life force. Entire Villages went hungry then other nations. It was a total disaster.

Celestia walked through a once busy and lively farm village. But as she walked through it got worse. Pegasi could no longer fly because their powerful flight muscles did not get the protein and nutrients they so dearly needed, the sky stayed clear. The unicorns had trouble channeling their will into their horns. their bodies couldn't withstand the raw energy. Earth ponies were hit hardest though. Most made their living off of farming and agriculture. But with no food to feed their livestock, most did not last long. All the ponies she had seen alive were very malnourished. She could not do anything about it, she handed out food to every pony who needed it. but then she came across a sight that mortified her. A dead filly. It's mother refused to let anyone touch it, let alone berry it. Celestia walked over to the grieving mother. "miss-" "NO- STAY AWAY!" a powerful bolt of magic sped past Celestia's multi-colored mane. "miss- it's ok" she lifted up her hood to show herself. the crowd that gathered around her gasped as she went over to the mother and calmly said "your baby is dead, I know you don't want us to touch it, but miss you need to get food and water, you need to live, if you grieve all your life you will get nowhere fast" the mother nodded and wiped the tears they poured from her face. "yes-yes my princess" "i am no longer a princess though, I'm on the same level as most of you" She took off the rest her cloak to reveal she was also weak and malnourished as they are. The mother handed over the filly and Celestia wrapped it up in a blanket. "thank you." the mother repeated back to Celestia "why should you thank me? I'm the one who started this all" Celestia looked down "Celestia, you never wanted this to happen right?" "of course not, the ponies are starving to death-who would want that" "obviously NightMare Moon did not plan this out, no plants mean no ponies,no ponies mean no people to rule over. Her plan was flawed" Celestia thought about it and her eyes changed again "you're right" she jumped into the air a flew as fast as she could to the capitol. Canterlot.

NightMare Moon admired her midday moon. "isn't beautiful?" one of the few court officials answered back with a tired "yes" not that he meant it though. "my Queen, a white alicorn is coming our way!" a night guard yelled to his Queen, he was short of breath "i thought we banished her!" "hush, I know that. This time she will die" "should we go" "i believe in this state she is quite helpless, go ahead" almost all of the Night Guard to apprehend Celestia.can we kill them? Yes, Akikilir, yes we can Hunger started to drive Celestia mad,But also the years of pain and sadness she felt, so many years Luna and Celestia had shared their sorrows together, they comforted them, but now it was Luna who was causing her this haert ache, her mind could no longer take it. The beast inside her smiled at the though he might have some time "on the outside". Celestia threw a large Fire ball from her horn, some could either not get out of the way, or were to scared so they froze in fear. The battle raged on and hundred of Lunar guards began to fall to the ground. "this is strange. Under normal circumstances a pony like her would have died by now" a guard said as he watched his fellow soldiers fall to the ground below "yes. But she is no ordinary Alicorn is she? she has Akiklir stuck inside of her" "yes my Queen you are correct- but he shouldn't be able to connect so strongly with her, shouldn't he?" "if Celestia let Akiklir connect with her, then she will not be hurt, but if she refuses his connection, she will spit up blood" "I see, thank you my Queen for clarifying". NightMare Moon had a plan in mind.

I could show her precious ponies what she really is, that way they'll trust me more, all I need to do now is find something to get her mad, infuriated in fact

NightMare Moon smirked at this plan,Leave Tia alone! she is not a monster! she is amazing and wonderful and I love her! "quiet Luna, you're as annoying as your sister" Luna had finally had the courage to said something, she was too afraid before to say anything to her NightMare."pull your forces back, Captain-let her come to me, I have a plan" the captain then flew to the lasts of the legion and told them to retreat, Celestia smirked at this-well not Celestia,Akikilir who had taken over her body, Celestia allowed this only for a short time before she returned to normally and flew gracefully to the last place she saw NightMare Moon. Celestia landed on the Balcony expecting bolt of dark magic launched at her, she prepared a powerful shield spell spell just in case of an ambush. But as she walked about the remendents of her room. "Tia? is that you!" Luna's excited voice echoed down the halls "Luna stay there! I'm coming" Happiness and warmth flooded Celestia's mind she broke free! she has saved herself! I can't believe it! but as she followed the echo and got closer, she began to feel doubtful what if it's a trap? no. I need to trust my sister. She went to the location of the voice. It was the throne room, her sister's seat was empty and her seat had been torn apart, the crest they made together had a symbol of the moon over it. Celestia's eyes widened in horror my gut was right.. it's a trap! "so you've fell right into my trap" Luna appeared out of a dark corner "Luna,- what are you talking about? your free, we can defeat her together! like we always did, then I can raise the sun and the ponies will be saved!" "oh sister, you were always a foolish one. Do you really think I would have let NightMare Moon control me like a puppet. I let her do this" Celestia began to tremble again no, Luna, not you too please! "Luna p-please! this isn't you!. I know you! you would always protect others and take care of them! you put them first instead of yourself!" "yes, I noticed, but I got bored of ponies always ignoring me" "The ponies loved you!" Celestia almost began to cry again, she thought her sister had been tainted by power just like most of the evils they faced. "Luna... I will always love you, this is not you though,you have been tainted by power" Luna laughed hysterically as she transformed into NightMare Moon. Well actually NightMare had fooled Celestia. She had used to shadows to look like Celestia's little sister, and replicated Luna's voice also. "you should have seen your face! so afraid and mortified that you thought she had become a monster! HA, you are a stupid foal Celestia" rather than becoming depressed or scared again, she became angry. Really angry. A circle of fire formed around her. Her skin cracked with Lava coursing through the cracks, it did not ooze. Her skin began to almost drift of like ash, actually it did, the skin that was underneath was a deep dark red, her mane disappeared and a helmet of gold reappeared. The feathers on her wings fell off like nothing, as they touched the ground they burst into flames, replacing her wings, were the large wings of fire, her tail also turned to flame. The creature had more armor than NightMare Moon, but had what seemed like no eyes, the helmet had holes for eyes, but blackness filled then instead. the Helmet itself had three spike, and was adorned with beautiful carving as much of the armor did. The once beautiful Celestia had turned into an Alicorn like no other. A dark and methodical voice came from the creature, "I think i'm going to kill you now",Tia...no! you promised me you'd never turn into LightMare Sun again!please Tia-I need you...please Luna sobbed in the furthest corner of her mind Tia...You promised

Twilight's eyes widened at the sight of that name. She had heard of many names, but never of a LightMare Sun. She was too tired to look it up. Twilight drifted off to sleep thinking of the depicture of her mentor in this form, she remembered a painting of a creature that described this "LightMare Sun" character. It was fighting Discord and Luna was all chained up and was used as toy or puppet of some sorts;

Spike woke up to find Twilight rocking back in forth on the ground near her bed. "Twilight! are you ok!?!" Twilight kept rocking, "Twilight! get yourself together! your fine!" "i'm being taught by a monster" "what? I didn't hear you."

"I'M BEING TAUGHT BY A MONSTER" Twilight started to cry again, all Spike could do was attempt to comfort the hysterical mare, " i don't understand, unless you mean somepony else I don't know about, then I have no idea" "Celestia... she's not what she seems to be...She's insane!" Twilight stood up and brushed off the tears "i need to confront her. Now" Spike got up and kind of knew to get away from Twilight, almost as he knew she was going to teleport. "geez, she leaves for three days, comes back for a night, then leaves again! and without me!" a large charred mark surrounded where the alicorn had teleported from.

Luna and Celestia had stayed up that winter night, in their warm comfy nest, They were admiring the stars that night, Luna had put a lot of work into them after getting back. Celestia had Tea while Luna was trying out a newer concoction; soda Cola to be specific. "Sister, are you sure this is what ponies put down their gullets today" Luna ex aimed the alien aluminum cylinder, "yes, I'm sure of it. Just be careful the it might-" The can exploded with fizz as Luna pried it open "explode..." a simple spell cleaned up the mess, Luna was afraid of the can now "we have decided that we would no longer like to try this concoction" Celestia had been showing Luna the inventions that had come about sense she was banished. "Luna, I promise it won't hurt you", as soon as the words left her mouth, Luna picked it up, and sipped "it's... AMAZING" Luna then chugged the whole can. "I think you've had enough" Celestia lifted it from her sister hooves and Luna began to follow it around like a cat following a bird. Eventually Luna got it again and the whole process started over again, but this time when Luna had finished it, she chased Celestia around "GIVE ME THE REST!" "I DON'T HAVE MORE" "GIVE IT TO MEEEEEE". "your Highness there's somepony waiting for you- what are you doing?" the guard looked over at Luna pushing on Celestia face with her hoof to reach the half-empty can of Cola, the two sister got off of each other an straightened up. The two sister's untied their hair,which they put up to keep it out of the way, and their manes began to flow again. After cleaning up a bit, the two rushed out the door and their guards followed behind them. Although the sisters could handle themselves, Levier had always taught them "better to be safe then sorry", the sister walked calmly but quickly through the hallways to their throne room to find Twilight there, standing with her mane in front of her face, head down, and body almost trembling, her wings rustled a bit with anxiety. "Twilight!" the two sisters loosened up a bit at the sight of their dear friend, Celestia walked over to hug her student, but was pushed back before she was able to. Celestia's expression changed when she did this, while Luna's eyes only widened. "Twilight, are you ok? is something wrong?" the deepest tone of concern came form the white mare. "you...why didn't- why didn't you ever-" Twilight had trouble talking because her voice was choked up with fear, but also sadness. "Twilight?" Celestia sat down in front of faithful student, "Your a monster! to think I ever even trusted you! how dare you! I can't believe you! you monster! those finale words dripped off her tongue like savage poison. The words hit the White mare's ears with the power of lightning. Celestia trembled and her mane began to stop flowing, it completely stopped, she spit of some blood, then some more, Akiklir had tried to get her to hit her student, but she couldn't, and she wouldn't. "How could you ever act so kind and loving! your just a phony! you lie and cheat to get your way! you'dd kill just to get your way, or because their annoying! how could you! your just a monster! the more she spoke the more Blood came from Celestia spat. No one stopped her, they stood in silence, watching the Purple mare spit her darts full of hatred at the beloved princess. Tears fell from Celestia's face like rain does in the spring. More angry words came from Twilight. Eventually it had cursing thrown into it. Twilight never swore, this only re-assured Celestia that one of her most beloved subjects and friends had turned on her, like many did before. But who could blame Twilight? she loved Celestia, Celestia was her teacher, her princess, she had guided Twilight every single step of the way, but the image when she thought of Celestia;calm caring, loving, kind the list went on, had been turned upside down. Twilight was ok with change, but this was too much for her. when the Purple mare was finally done, Celestia looked up. Her chin had been covered with blood, a little vomit in fact, her mane had no longer flowed, for it was filled with sorrow. She looked into her student's eyes, looking for something; she was looking for the Twilight she once knew and loved, not the anger filled mare that stood in front of her. But she could not find it. It was dried,gone,buried. Just not there, only anger filled her face, the tears she shed before were long gone. And Celestia did not blame her. Not one single bit. Luna stepped forward, then got closer, and then a little more, and then a little more, until she was right besides her sister. The two said nothing. Luna helped her elder sister up, and Twilight just looked at her like,what are you doing? her eyes told Luna enough though, she carried her sister on her shoulder. This was the night Celestia had first had Akiklir inside of her. Luna carefully put her sister into bed, "don not fear sister, I will try to save her" Celestia said in quiet voice "Luna, I'm sorry, you were right. She wasn't ready for this. No one ever has." Luna looked at her sister, although Celestia was taller than Luna, she seemed so small then. "Princess, do you need us to come with you?" "No, leave, we have some discussion to do with Princess Twilight." the guards of both Solar and Lunar bowed and left. "dearest sister, I will try, I must do this" Twilight sat where exactly where she was when yelling at her Teacher- or former. She stared at the spot where Celestia sat and let Twilight yell at her, feeling of doubt crept over her,was that too far? she spat up blood, no that was probably just Akiklir or she was faking it... they quickly subsided as Luna ran towards her. Luna's come to defend her sister...great Twilight stood up and faced Luna, the Largeness of the Throne room stared to creep in as she noticed they were alone. Luna stood in front of Twilight, she looked like she wanted to say something, but not exactly sure what to say or even how to say it. "Twilight... I know- I know your...upset-but that thing is not My sister. I thought you would understand that." "Upset...UPSET!?! your just as good as Celestia Luna, you lie just like her too, making everyone feel better with your words." Luna held back the tears but then she though,if she was lying she would have said we, right?but she never said we... "I know... me and my sister... aren't the best ponies...but we do...we do try to-to" Luna could not hold back the sob, she began to cry, just like Celestia, she ran away though, she couldn't deal with the fact that of all ponies Twilight had said those hurtful words. "ME AND MY SISTER ARE NOT THE MONSTER TWILIGHT! TIS' YOU! YOU AND YOUR WORDS FULL OF POISON!" Luna ran to the hooves of her sister, her had somehow managed to gather enough strength to stumble back to the Throne room. Celestia grabbed her sister and hugged her just as mother would do a child, then it hit twilight like a rockshe does care, I just didn't see it she silently comforted her sister, who sputtered and waled. Twilight left the court room, she didn't say anything. She walked all the way back to Ponyville, she flew a bit, but after a while she just trudged, her head down, face covered and just trudged. "ME AND MY SISTER ARE NOT THE MONSTER TWILIGHT! TIS' YOU!" those words flew around Twilight's head for hours as she walked, she felt awful. She flew into the tree house to find Spike asleep,she fell onto her bed as Fatigue and plain sadness over came her. She fell asleep as soon a the sun rose, thinking of her mentor and the words she spoke while she was in the Throne word... And she finally got it through her thick skull that Celestia was not evil, but it was Twilight who truly could be if she wanted.

Twilight never saw Spike read the book. She also never saw him run out the door. She also never saw the girls come over. She was too busy having a Nightmare. It only Deepened her sadness and how she felt about what she said. But something told her she needed to know what happened next. But when she reached over to her nightstand where she last put it, it wasn't there. She got out of bed, she noticed a little dry blood on her knee, she knew it was Celestia's but not how it got that far. Then she heard something down stairs, "Is someone there?" Twilight edged down the stairway to find her friends sitting on the floor. They all looked awful. Rarity's normally kept mane was undone and messy (for Rarity at least) FlutterShy was hiding under Rainbow Dash's wing, not that Rainbow Dash looked any better. Pinkie's mane deflated as soon as she read the last couple of lines. Twilight ran over and closed the book. "wh-What are yo-you guys doing here?" Twilight trembled knowing now they felt exactly what she had felt before she realized that Celestia was kind. Applejack put her hoof on Twilight's shoulder and said, "i'm sorry-whoa! did she- she hurt you didn't she! that no good!" Applejack got angry pretty quickly, before Twilight said anything Rarity mumbled something a Rainbow Dash just kind of Glared at the picture of the Sun on the ceiling. FlutterShy got up and flew into the air and said "How dare she!" and then got back down and hid. "girls-" before she could say another word Pinkie Pie said "Don't worry Twilight, we'll have a chat with her." and like that they left out the door, dragging Twilight with them, Spike came along. They dragged her to the path that she had trudged down the night before. Eventually they let her go, but she then only walked behind them, slowly but surely they began to see the force field. It was not around canterlot, but around the upper floor of the castle. The princess's chambers. It was a yellow sphere that had waves of Blue also swirled in it, Luna and Celestia's ora could be felt miles away, it was mixed with pain, a bit of melancholy, but mostly just fear. "Well, that's low, Twilight get's hurt , then they hide then themselves." Rarity uttered as they walked. It began to rain as they walked, the others hid up a Umbrella Rarity had made, or made cover under some trees. But Twilight just walked on, the others followed her lead, even though it was pouring. "hey-Twilight, um... what did she say to you? if you don't mind"FlutterShy said in her usually quiet voice,"she didn't say anything." "oh, um ok." FlutterShy continued to stay under the umbrella. After hours of walking, they finally arrived at Canterlot. Twilight though, refused to go in, so she waited outside the Castle. The others could walk in as they pleased, the spell opened up as they were given a ID for Canterlot. Celestia was not in her throne room, nor was Luna. "where are the Princesses?" Rarity tried to sound polite, but it came out strange. "oh, they're in their room right now. I don't know if you should bother them, but I guess you should talk to them,but hey,maybe you can break some sense into them" The five mares walked calmly to chamber adorned with the symbol of a Solar Eclipse, the crescent Moon covered the Sun, that had been the symbol they stamped to Equestria ever since they ruled over it, unity between Day and night, that even the most different ponies could work in perfect harmony. Rainbow Dash knocked on the door to find Luna opened the door, her mane was it's normal blue, but she did look worse for wear. Her mane was tangled and untidy, her he feathers that came from her wing were in desperate need of preening, her fur was also messy, Circles under her eyes ment she probably did not get enough sleep. "oh, hello. come here to make us feel worse do you? well my sister's over there, but I won't let you get to her so good luck." the mares before were confused at the sight of this occasion. Luna normally wouldn't speak this way, nor look this way when they saw her, so this was confusing to them. "Celestia's not in the best condition right now, neither am I-Twilight has done a number on her emotional strength as well I" Luna did her best to get in a stance ready, but she was too weak to do much, she fell over and stumbled around. Celestia coughed badly then in a small voice told Luna it was ok. She could go get some sleep. "I can handle myself." she tried to smile as warmly as she could, but was cut off by her own coughing, after walking like an old lady to the Door, the girls truly realized what she looked like. Her mane was neater than Luna's, but her body itself was in bad shape. a bit of blood had covered her chin, but her hooves and chest were also bloodied. "Celestia. We have something to say to you" Rainbow Dash was still furious with Celestia. Rainbow Dash got a bit to close though.... the Celestia spat up more blood and it got on Rainbow Dash's face "AHG EW EW EW EW", "erm, Rainbow, you ok?" AppleJack attempted to calm Rainbow Dash down. "Sorry, I didn't mean to...you know." Celestia fell over and her vision blurred, the faces of the ponies she once saw became almost like skeletons, but their souls looked exposed, their wills flowed from their souls, and Rarity's will came up to her horn, the walls and floors around them disappeared into blackness. Then she saw Akiklr examining them, fiddling with their "soul cases". "DON'T TOUCH THEM!" Celestia cried out, Akiklr got off of Pinkie Pie's back and walked over to the Mare. "sorry. I should have known you would detest me tinkering with their soul cases." Cestia shook her head and began to speak with the creature, "Akiklr, why do you keep trying to get me to kill my friends?" "I told you, they're either annoying or a liability." "And I told you that I love them, and will not kill anyone unless necessary." "pfft, Celestia dear, you're no fun." Celestia chuckled a bit and the two had a laugh. Over the years, Akiklr had generally lost some of his insanity brought on from the same feelings Celestia's had for most of her life. Celestia had somehow managed to lessen it, in fact she often thought that he was a bit like Discord. " I take it I passed out." "In it's basic form yes." Celestia sighed and finally said "Is there a reason you keep trying to connect with me?" "Celestia, I'm only trying to help, They treated you terribly for the things I did. They should know that it's not your fault, also What your student completely lost it with you. She deserves to feel bad" "Twilight was upset, that is all, I cannot blame her- I let you take control-" " You only did that because you thought you needed to! Celestia, tell them about what happened, tell them about it Really! If you let me out, I promise that I will not touch a hair on their heads" Akiklr lifted up his paw and put the other to his heart and stood on his haunches. "I, Akikilr of the fourth plane, solemnly swear That I will not come in any form of of physical contact, with the equine species of this planet, nor any living being either. I will not flee or steal your life force or anyone being's Soul in the process" " fine, but only in the right setting." "thank you, you are truly a wise teacher, I am honored to be inside of your soulcase." Akikilr then jumped back in, and Celestia woke up. Celestia would know if he was lying, because he is literally taped to her soul. It's kind of like lying to yourself, Akikilr, though crazy, is truthful, well-to Celestia anyway, I cannot say that much for former 'hosts'. Celestia woke up in her bed, it was sunny and warm, a Blue alicorn slept besides her. "Lu-Luna?" the blue Alicorn's ears pricked up, her head lifted up and she then looked over at her sister only to be cuddled even further by her older sister. "Tia, are you ok?" "yes, I'm fine- WAIT WHAT TIME IS IT!" the White Alicorn leapt up into the air and Luna then stated "It's half past Three sister, in about half an hour until the Sun shall be set and the Moon will rise" Celestia let out a sigh of relief, she looked into the mirror to see she was cleaned up, she brushed her hair and walked to the courtroom. Many ponies had been surrounding her throne. Her advisors and court officials had been having a ruff time, Luna followed her sister after. The ponies in the court swarmed around Celestia and Luna. "we guess it is Court time." The five ponies paced around nervously. "wha-what if we scared her, she fainted as soon as AppleJack said we'd only wanted to talk!" "FlutterShy, she's been spit up blood, she must be feeling poorly, maybe that's why she was mean to Twilight" Rarity did not speak sourly like she did before, more with concern-but not quite. "I dunno, but I do know that Celestia- I dunno, she seemed sycotic in the book." Rainbow Dash flew over head. The girls had waited in the parlor where Celestia and Luna often met in the morning. Applejack was stunned when Celestia's eyes had blood come out of them when she fainted, they'd thought she'd been poisoned or something, or as Pinkie put it "Ponies don't normally bleed out of their eyes do they?" emphasizing by pulling her lower socket down,Then they carried her to the nurse. And that was it. They were seated in the parlor and that's where they sat for the next two hours that Celestia had been sleeping. "Hey guys... should we tell any other ponies? If someone else finds out, it could lead to total anarchy." Rainbow Dash pointed out. they all then agreed that unless it became truly bad, then they would tell, as of right now though-they were worried about Twilight. She had been sitting outside in the garden after decided she should just wait there for the moment, she admired the hedges and the sculptures, the statutes covered with the purest of snow. She stopped to think, I never was able to tell them that she... no never mind. But still, how could She not tell me? or anyone for that matter! something as dark as this needs to be acknowledged! also... what she did is... is unacceptable! killing ponies like that is not ok! I know she's a kind pony at heart- but I don't know, how can I forgive her? Twilight pondered this for awhile, but sadly-like many before her- did not come to a conclusion, even as flurries whipped through the air, and the snow around her piled higher and higher, she did not leave that spot until a servant finally noticed she was outside. She warmed up in a spare room, but could not sleep- she had some thinking to do.

Celestia... do you remember-the faces..." "the faces of who?" The night Guard, the ones that you- I killed. "Akikilr, there has not been a day since I haven't remember their scorched remains" Celestia was sipping Tea inside the first plane with Akikilr, she looked like a dragon almost in the first plane, most living creature's looked different; their case was hollow, their bones mainly seemed to make up it, but they bones instead of their color being that of blood, they were the color that they associated themselves with, like how Applejack was orange, FlutterShy was yellow, but other beings that are not so alive, took to their true form here, Luna was also a dragon of sorts. Discord however looked like himself also, he never was given a true form, so he got to decide what he looked like, his soul needed it's case; if he did not choose quickly, he would lose himself like many others. Her long sharp claws reached for the tea sitting across from her, but she had a bit of trouble get her fingers around it, so eventually she just leaned down to sip it. Akiklir smiled, something he doesn't do very often, well at least a kind smile. Memories flooded Celestia as she thought of the Night guard, their scorched and mangled bodies littered the ground they fell from, only the structures that held the wing membrane remained. "So, Celestia, do you ever think that anyone will know about your true form other than your family? no even StarSwirl knew, so will you tell that-your studentabout it? i'm guessing probably not" "not right now, she's had trouble handling this, let alone handling anything else, as time progresses we will go along with it" Celestia pondered about Twilight, but it only made her sad. Twilight had said some extremely hurtful words to Celestia that night. Celestia still was not mad at her though, not even disappointed, she had expected something like this, but this was not at all what she expected from twilight, she was a kind pony that had the capacity to try to understand ponies so different from her, "guess Celestia had put too much faith in her this time." Akikilr wrote down. He used a small spell to send it back to wherever he kept his stuff, and talked with Celestia for awhile, eventually Luna came in and they all had a nice chat, it was strange, Luna at one point despised him, but now it was almost like they were old friends. It was strange almost, Luna had always thought Akikilr would never change, he would always thought he'd be crazy,he'd always wanted to kill her, but now it was almost being In Celestia's soul case had soothed some of his neurotic tendencies. He had thanked the sisters many times for calming him- he had been through a situation much like their own, but instead, he went mad and destroyed his own plane-he thought if he couldn't deal with it, why not destroy it? But he decided after feeling the sorrows of Celestia, he would not lose control again, he would try his hardest to save himself from himself. But occasionally, he would lose himself, that was when Celestia was most vulnerable, that was when his whispers of insanity got to her, she had tried hard to ignore them also. In a way, they had helped each other all along. Luna found it a shock when she found out about Akikilr, she was alarmed and scared of her sister, but a long time ago, she had came to terms that Celestia and Akikilr were in the same body, therefore she must also accept that he is apart of her dear Celestia. She did everything she could to defend her sister, even though almost no one knew. Discord though, knew all too well, the three enjoyed their chat, talking about everything to how lovely the stars were, to the sunset, anything really, they even made jokes about some of the court officials. "Iris Ink is alittle star crazy, isn't she? I can understand though how her authority has en-biggened her head" Luna had said after also having difficulty with her tea, although he enjoyed the sugary beverage known as Coke, in the first plane there was only a few substances that they could "eat" the food and refreshments that they could consume had no value, only that they tasted good. While Akikilr laughed a bit (more than normal at least) and Celestia smiled at her little sister. Eventually it came time to raise the Sun and lower the Moon. They had to leave the First plane and returned to their equine form, "it always aches to turn from one form to another doesn't it sister" "yes, but at least it's not like we're transforming into something like a serpent or a fish, now that would that would be painful" the two chuckled to themselves a bit and went about raising or lowering their celestial bodies, a new day had dawned, a new idea or lesson,a new opportunity, anything could happen, for now a new day aired, the past became the past.

"I have, I have not, I am not, I cannot, I cannot defeat him, not with Luna being his "puppet" he confronted me last night- no midnight-sun I tried to save her from him, Luna was so happy to see me but the excitement turned to fear as he lifted her up by her chains and played with her like a cat plays with a mouse, she was tiny, so weak, he had only just kept her alive- then Celestia- or a figure like her came through, she stamped her hoof down and commanded Discord to give her back, but he would not- the Moon could not raise without Luna- Celestia at the time was too young to do it herself, that's when it got violent. The fire circled around her, while the spirit of Chaos would only watch, his smirk quickly faded though, after becomes that *thing she charged Discord, The battle raged on for what seemed like hours, but I could not do anything. I have never felt so weak and helpless in my life. Then by the end, Discord had left with his wounds, and Luna and the LightMare remained, Luna yelled at the creature, she lost control over her emotions, "you're a monster!'," You're not my sister" the beast, unbeknownst to Luna, the creature cried, it's sorrowful sobs whispered through it's helmet- I will not write this, I have failed"*

Celestia walked into the throne room, she ignored the stain in the carpet as best she could-not necessarily well, she then sat down at her throne alongside Luna, and they shuffled through the papers sent in by anyone really, of course however they were tested before they touched them, who knows what ponies are up to these days, especially with the Griffons "beating their chest", though the last Griffon against Pony war did not end so well for the Griffons, their new leader is wise enough to know it would not be the best to attack now after three years of fighting had weakened their forces but not only that, but their moral also when they just didn't seem to win, that however did not matter now, the great war had ended and neither side wanted another one. Luna had been shuffling through her papers when five ponies came in, "Princess!" Pinkie Pie Jumped onto Celestia "You're ok!" Pinkie pushed her hooves against the Princess's face, "Pinkie Pie dear- can you please get off of me" Pinkie Pie hopped off and bounced around her friends. Applejack tried to say something, but Pinkie Pie had duck-taped down first. "Princess- I' wanted to say ah'm sorry if we upset you, we didn't know that y'all weren't feeling good" Celestia looked over at Luna who had sighed with relief, "it's alright, I was feeling a bit under the weather yesterday, sorry Rainbow Dash" Rainbow Dash looked down uncomfortably, but smirked. Celestia paused to hear an answer from any of the other ponies but none came, "I wanted to say sorry" a mysterious mare uttered from the door, her voice quivered with fear, the cloak on her was black mostly wet from the snow outside, the guards lifted their weapons, But Luna had them lower them, Luna stepped closer to the pony, who backed away- She's afraid of Luna? Celestia thought as she looked at the Mare. The mare looked down and said "I'm sorry, Luna- I was cruel" Luna's eyes widened with fear as the mare pulled up the hood of her cloak, It was Twilight. She lowered her head, Luna sniffed but would not cry, not in front of everypony at least. "Hello... Sparkle." she had said those words cold as the north, almost like poison. "I'm sorry Luna!" twilight wept, and Luna then saw how hurt Twilight was, she had cried for the friendship they had, the emotion they shared, but most of all, of what Luna had said, "ME AND MY SISTER ARE NOT THE MONSTER TWILIGHT! TIS' YOU! YOU AND YOUR WORDS FULL OF POISON!" those words rang inside their heads, Luna did not feel bad for saying them, but she believed that Twilight had got the point of them. Twilight repeated her apologies again and again and again. Celestia left though, she could not face Twilight, not with Akikilir saying,Celestia. She was cruel and plain violent, *Kill her and get it over with*** "NO!" Celestia yelled as she sprinted down the corridor, many ponies chased after her, But she was too fast- After All, she held the record for most sonic Rainbooms in one go; nine, eventually she found an old, seemingly empty place, it was a dead end- used to confuse attackers- But she used it to cry most of the time. Every time she had no shoulder to lean on, she went here, a dark and damp place, one of the wall outside had broke through, although no one ever saw her like this, She was the ruler and had to be strong, even though her country had no enemies or threats, she still could not feel as long as Luna was gone- she would be incomplete. With Luna back- her faults stood out, she had put little effort into the stars, She couldn't manage her time well, she had trouble avoiding any news pony that walked up to her, but most of all- she had her past in front of her, inside her really. All the ponies she had knew, Discord,their parents had left her and Luna to rain over Equestria, but the pony she missed most was Levier, she had been kind, wise and calm as Celestia could remember, but she was gone now, not dead necessarily, but forgotten, gone. Levier had always been there for Celestia, but when she was needed most, Celestia turned her back on her, and she wilted like the flower she was. Celestia had felt the heartache of losing someone before, but not when it was her own fault, and she could not take her actions back. And now Levier was but a fleeting Memory, some pony who had been lost in time- forever forgotten even though she was loved. Celestia fell to the ground and wept. She had no one. Akikilir was in another phase, he had gone mad and basically tried to egg Celestia on, but she couldn't. She had no one, losing the ponies that had tried to understand her would be the worst plan to cope with herself. Luna was there and so was Discord- but what she had done could not be forgiven, she had caused so much pain and suffering- It really hurt her to know she basically killed innocents just to save one pony, It was selfish- she loved Luna, but Celestia could only think; I could have done more, thought through it, Luna proved this by yelled at the shell of a mare known as "LightMare Sun", Celestia vowed to Luna and herself, she would never, even if she thought it was necessary, Use this form, but she had- she lost herself again when NightMare Moon had tricked her into believing her sister was back, she was so angry- all the years of pain had came out at once. It was Terrifying. Celestia sat in silence, looking down at the ancient sign for her mother and father's seal, it was a Galaxy- just a Galaxy, It was beautiful though as it glimmered in the Sunlight, she looked at her Sun out of the broken wall, it was almost time to lower it, she had to go back but she could not. WIth Akikilir constantly rambling on about things that no pony should hear, she could not face them- especially Twilight. Celestia loved Twilight with all her heart, she put all her love and time to take care of her, put now The pony had no Kindness to give back, her eyes had told Celestia enough on that night. Celestia did not want to hear Twilight fill her words with hatred and only to shoot them towards Celestia. She also did not want Luna to get hurt again. Luna cried into Celestia's mane for so long, mumbling and blubbering about how Twilight was so mean to her elder sister, she knew Twilight was upset, but this was uncalled for. Eventually she fell asleep, still cuddling her sister, Celestia remembered what it was like to take care of her- she understood what Levier felt when she took care of the Princesses. It was such a deep love, it reached even to Akikilir,who had started to go into another phase, but was pulled out by them.

Twilight Part 9

Twilight ran after Celestia, but Celestia was too fast. She called after the Princess, "Celestia wait!" She came to a fork in the corridor, well, more like a branch that split into six. Celestia had gained a lot of ground on the young mare, Celestia turned a corner and then she disappeared into a gloomy light. Twilight did not chase after her. She already understood that her mentor wanted to be alone. So she sat down in the gleam of the last of the Sunlight that creeped in through the cracks and holes in the wall. She had grabbed the book containing the hurtful information that was sitting on the floor wide open, some random pony looked over to read it but Twilight quickly snatched it, she did not want a whole rebellion against Celestia and Luna- that would be total anarchy. She opened up the book, and read again, this time she knew no matter what, she would love her mentor- even if The old Celestia was just as cruel as Twilight had thought she might be. First though, she examined her surroundings. She saw that the six branches actually had most sort of ancient writing on the arch that led to the broken doorways that led down to who knows what, some was either scratched out or covered in vines. On the floor a crystallized galaxy symbol adorned the floor. on the walls it had writing, but also pictures, stories lost in time. There was one on a lion-like creature, she had guessed it was Akikilir, another one next to it was a pony that looked almost like a Kirin or sorts, but a bit more Equine like, It had a horn and a beautiful set of wings, another creature that also looked like Akikilir was there too, then what looked like two dragons chasing the SUn and Moon also came on the walls. Twilight was amazed by all the information these walls had stored on them, writing sprawled from floor to what's left of a ceiling. She began putting things together, spell after spell every block was back in it's place. she had fixed the room, and sealed it all with a simple but effective spell that held everything in it's place. It was still cold in the room, but soon it would most likely be hot and stuffy as she spent her night there, she had to finish the assignment, even if no one actually gave it to her.

Finally, now we can fight, Celestia has become a monster like no other- she will scare her precious ponies with fear as they are burned alive Nightmare Moon smirked as the Flaming mare stepped towards her. "So, will you finally speak to me now,Akiklir" The beast said nothing for it could not, only almost silent whispers came from it's helmet, barely making a noise from the roar of the flames and the song of the Sun, it was mostly like static- but also a gurgling noise of sorts. The flaming mare's horn glowed a deep crimson red and a spell shot towards NightMare Moon, "that all you got?" a shield spell went up and stopped the bolt of Sunbeam. Then the Mare cried out in pain. "AGH- WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME!?!" glowing red swirls appeared on NightMAre Moon's body, they hissed and almost steamed. It was a trick, while the Ebony Black alicorn was too busy taunting The flaming one, she did not notice that LightMare Sun had also laced the spell with a thorn spell of sorts; when NightMare Moon had used her magic to protect herself, the coiled wires also flowed through her soul case and attached themselves to her, She could have detached them right away if she noticed what LightMare Sun was doing, immediately stopping these wounds. NightMare Moon cussed a bit after pulling them off, it is very painful to remove a spell like that. "heh, guess I should pay more attention next time" NightMare Moon at this point was quite arrogant, she had gotten what she wanted without much effort, "it is quite easy to forget that when you're winning a fight not to gloat- but then you almost get impaled" -Unknown NightMare Moon then charged the creature, while LightMare Sun prepared and readied a Shield spell, this one however was highly advanced so no thorn spell would hurt the flaming mare. Her plan was to wait until the very last moment and then release her own spell; a Teleportation spell, using this she could wait until the last second and then teleport behind LightMare Sun, LightMare would be thrown off guard and have no time to block or move her shield spell, let alone her own legs. NightMare Moon ran faster and faster, the weight of anticipation that would weigh most ponies down made her go faster, finally her horn glowed and she teleported right behind the Flaming Mare, NightMare Moon expected her to at least flinch, but no, there was absolutely nothing. the Armor clanged and vibrated, this blow would have instantly killed anything else, but instead the Mare turned her head slowly at NightMare Moon's fading smirk, "Is that all You got?" The voice echoed around the helmet. NightMare Moon stepped back quickly, but not quick enough- The Flaming Mare slapped NightMare Moon at least three hundred feet back. NightMare Moon was powerful, but her head was not in the right place. LightMare Sun flew quickly over to the ebony black Alicorn and kicked her into the air, she soared higher and higher, and LightMare Sun flew after her. The Eventually caught up and then proceed to kick the Ebony Alicorn down with the strength of a thousand Stallions. NightMare Moon fell into the earth with a large explosion of dust, wind rickashaying off from the sight of the seemingly fallen Dark Mare. When the Dust settled though, The mare was standing up, head down feet apart, LightMare Sun landed in front of the Ebony Mare, also creating a large explosion. They then Charged each other, no spells or anything just charged to see who's armor could endure to most damage before cracking, Just as they were about to make contact, a Ray of light appeared from the sky, The Aurora Borealis, this only meant one thing; Auroria had either come to stop the fight or pick sides

Auroria landed with an equally large explosion, what was once fertile soil was nothing but dirt, the dirt was peeled off the earth like the peel of orange. Large Boulders covered in time had been exposed. Water started to seep into the area, but it turned to steam around LightMare Sun, and Ice around NightMare Moon. The three ponies flew up, "Thy Sisters, stop this insanity!" Auroria was not much of a fighting pony, but she was as just as good as her sisters, if not better. The flaming one slowly looked over at the silver and yellow mare. NightMare Moon charged Auroria, only to be deflected by a star shaped shield spell. The two fought, kicking and punching violently- these blows would easily killed any other creature that got in the way. But The shield spell began to crack as NightMare Moon channeled the left over Life-force from her fallen guards. But Auroria quickly flew up before NightMare Moon could attack again. In the royal voice she again said, "STOP THIS NOW!" LightMare Sun quietly walked over, unlike NightMare Moon's armor that clattered and clanged as she walked, LightMare Sun was almost completely silent, only the sound of hooves tapping the ground came from her. NightMare Moon teleported not even a yard away from Auroria, LightMare though walked and a slow pace, "Is that armor of yours too heavy?" NightMare scoffed at this, LightMare Sun immediately raised her enormous wings up and flew faster than an arrow toward the spot where her sister met under a jagged rock. She landed silently also, even though the earth rumbled when she landed. The two took off their helmets, NightMare Moon's face was much acceptable than the Flaming mare next to her.

The face was dark grey, but small cracks like most of her skin glowed, the mare had no eyes, and it's mouth was that of the guards around her, the cheeks were gone- it was almost if she had a smile stuck to her face for eternity. Auroria and NightMare Moon were horrified, even if NightMare Moon was evil and had done many terrible things, she could never imagine that Celestia could ever look like this. Auroria had known the crushing feeling everything is bigger than her, even her own stars are larger than her, although she never really had the crushing feeling of what Celestia really looked like on the inside. This mutilated burning form was all the emotions she had felt during her reign with Luna, but also the feelings she gotten when she was betrayed. This husk of a pony was but a flicker, even though she burned bright as the stars. "Shall we discuss this in a manner that doth not show barbarism?" LightMare put her helmet back on as did NightMare Moon, but she could still picture the mangled face that was inside it.

The Three mares stood where a castle once stood, it was not long ago that Luna and Celestia had lived there, but NightMare Moon had 'remodeled it'. LightMare Sun, as strong as she was, was not the fastest. NightMare Moon was correct when it came to the weight of the golden armor. With LightMare Sun trailing behind, Auroria worked out the plan in her mind. Celestia, I know you're in there- You too Luna, I know they are taking control of you- ugh, no pony's gonna take that, this plan will flounder like a sinking boat, But her parents were counting on her, they would only assist her if it was needed. Auroria was not the fighting type, she would rather talk 'things out' than attack. Thoughts raced through her head,,What if they find out what i'm doing! what would they do!?! she prepared a shield spell, she did not need to use it however. Both creatures had no intentions of killing her, but that did not make Auroria feel any better inspite of this. Luna paced in circles around the first plane,What should I do? I need to tell somepony what NightMare's planning! She thought of everything StarSwirl had taught her. Only one spell came up, it was powerful but at a high cost, almost 90% of the amount of will Luna could use, after this she would have no more, she would not be able to send out anything else, if Luna used any more than that she ran the risk of destroying her body, possibly even her soul case. Celestia was having the very same problem as of that second also.I need to- but what if- No! no more 'what-ifs' I need to send out this mess age now. Both Luna and Celestia could have given up a long time ago, neither would though. They had promises to keep, both to themselves and to each other, but most of all to Levier. The one that had always been there for them.

"Ok, who in the hay is Levier? she seems important... no duh" Twilight put her hoof up to her face and slapped herself awake. She had been reading in the dim light of the newly repaired room. She walked over to the kirin that seemed to describe Levier. Horns of a deer, long tail, fur coming from above her deer-like hooves. She examined the pony further, admiring the variety of green there was, but also the flower that was pinned into her hair. It was tropical looking, It was pink with a rim of dark blue with a streak of yellow. Twilight was surprised to see that the artwork was not even faded, not even a nick on the form. The writing started to make more sense, but Twilight could not place her hoof on where it came from. Saddle Arabia? no, The Crystal Empire? no, Griffonia? no, Black Islands? no- YES! Twilight you've done it again! Twilight had heard form Zecora about them, Home to Princess Arcania. She held spells and information few would ever hear about, let alone see. Arcania hid them well, countless advanced spells guarded the information, making it so no entity could even get in. The most mysterious part of the island besides it's obsidius mountains and dark beaches, was the ponies there. They were not rude, but they seemed so quiet. They hardly spoke, unlike most ponies that will start up a conversation with complete strangers, They hid behind cloaks for the most part, They hardly showed their face, at least the mages and such. Other than that the population was mostly unicorns, the occasional earth pony that specializes in potions like Zecora reside there, but other than that the place seemed totally alien, even Arcania was quite secretive. But Twilight had other things to worry about. Hoofsteps came from the hallway,Somepony found me? The tapping stopped and then started again, this time a bit faster, then others joined. A familiar but muffled voice echoed down, It was Pinkie Pie,Darn it Pinkie, does you Pinkie sense have to kick in now? three hooves joined in, then another then another,five ponies,most likely her friends, tapped the stone beneath them, it got louder and louder until it hit Twilight like a rock, Invisibility spell! a short flash followed, and the Purple mare disappeared, at least her image. "Twi you here?" AppleJack poked her head around the gloomy room, Twilight had warmed up the room with her breath, creating a small cloud of mist where the mare was. "Twilight c'mon! we have to find Celestia!" Rainbow Dash flew around, slightly annoyed but mostly concerned. Pinkie Pie waited, closed her eyes and then pointed to the wall where Levier was pictured, "Pinkie Pie Dear, how'd you figure that out" Rarity looked over at the wall to see nothing, "don't yous ee silly, a closed eyes-ear-twitch-itchy-neck-wobbly-legs means an Alicorn's by!" Pinkie Pie hopped after scratching her neck. "Rarity, lantern Spell please?" Rarity horn glowed it's normal blue, and a mare's shadow appeared where none stood. FlutterShy pulled out her feather and tickled Twilight, who lost concentration and broke her spell. Although something was different about her. it was her eyes, they were cat-like, dilating

To the light, Her friends gave her a strange look, and Twilight remembered that she needed to rework her form spell, her soul case started to break through, causing her eyes to show what she looked like in the first plane. "oh, that happens sometimes" she rubbed her eyes and they went back to normal, she shyly grinned at this, "eh, how long have I been in here?" "Five Hours" "Holy smokes! I left Celestia all alone for that long she must be freezing!" Twilight grabbed the blanket FlutterShy was carrying and raced down each hallway, "Princess?" Twilight saw some red liquid that ha traced a ponies steps, she bent done and saw blood, thinking her mentor had gotten hurt during the chase. "Teacher please, I'm sorry, I was wrong- please let me speak-" "GO AWAY" a savage voice hissed from down the hallway, Twilight Trembled, a dark figure crept from it's hiding spot, "I said LEAVE ME ALONE" It was her mentor, her creamy white fur was darkening around the hooves, her mane was beginning to become a crimson, Feathers fell, they burnt as they hit the freezing stone beneath them. The most terrifying feature was her eyes. They glowed a fiery orange that outlined their snake like appearance. A softer,weaker voice came through, "Twilight. . . Run! I- can't hold this- much Longer!" Twilight ran as fast as she could, "Girls! RUN!" They trailed behind her, even Pinkie Ran, normally she would pounce, this time she took it was actually a time to run. Twilight stopped, "the book!" she was stopped bye AppleJack though, "Ar yew CRSASY?!?" "Those are the only books in existence that hold that information, I need to know what happened, It could be our only chance to stop her" "Stowp who?" Applejack lost her footing and let go, Twilight bolted from them, "Don't come after me!" SHe called behind before she ran back into the otherwise silent hallway, AppleJack stopped when Rainbow Dash finally said, "you heard her, we have to get out of here!". Twilight stepped as quietly as she could after realizing that whatever was happening to Celestia made her REALLY not want Twilight around. She crept quietly towards the room that she had ran from moments before. She walked towards the books to hear steps, I told them not to come after me! But they were coming from the hallway in front of her. she channeled her will into her horn which picked up the scorched books. she turned around to find FlutterShy there, In barely a whisper Twilight said "FlutterShy we need to get out of here!" "twilight- your hurt, really badly" "what do you-" FlutterShy put her hoof up to Twilight scarred face, blood running down it,"When did that happen?" Twilight thought about when she approached her teacher, the scream did hurt her ears, but she didn't even notice that somehow it had also gave her a wound. "FlutterShy- we need to go! we'll worry about that later!" FlutterShy and Twilight jumped through the window, Why didn't we just o through here? although there was no time for that, they raced through a patch of shrubbery and then down a hill, well they more tumbled down it rather than ran. After tumbling down the hill and finding their feathers were tarnished, they both ran towards the castle. No pony stopped them, everyone just got out of the way. The throne room was packed reporters and just random ponies were all jammed into the room, only to make way for two bruised mares. Then the questions poured like water,

" Princess Twilight! where's Princess Celestia?"

"Princess Twilight what happened?"

"Princess Twilight what happened to you?"

"Your Highness! do we need the Elements?"

"Miss! what's wrong with you and your friend?"

Ponies repeated each other's questions over and over and over again, until Luna in the Canterlot voice said "ORDER!" The room became so quiet that a feather could fall and anypony would hear it. "We shall clarify your questions as soon as information come sin, until then LEAVE" Only a few advisors and officials remained along with Twilight and FlutterShy. "Twilight your friends are waiting in the Parlor, come along" Luna walked stiffly, but tried to act calm, even though she was nervous inside,Something is wrong, very very wrong Twilight sensed this and became almost as nervous. Her mind wandered on until they reached the parlor. It was warm, a fire place stood neatly in the white walls, while the floor was carpeted in a purple fabric, two couches faced each other with a mahogany table in between. Five ponies wrapped up in blankets sat on them, drinking either coffee or tea. Twilight sat with them without a word while a servant offered her some coffee, she declined and asked for tea and thanked him. As he walked off, FlutterShy spoke, "so, um what should we do?" It took some pondering but eventually AppleJack answered with, "we should probably get some sleep, we should need a lot of rest for when the news ponies come in" after some "mhm'ing' from her fellow friends, Twilight touched the spot where the cut had been, "What the- It's gone?!?" a light Purple scar was all that was left on the mare's face. "how'd that happen?" AppleJack asked in between be strong coffee. "I don't know." an awkward silence filled the room, after a while Pinkie Pie started a pillow fight with Rainbow Dash. After almost four days the girls started to laugh with each other again. Rarity although fainted after getting a better look at Twilight's face when they made their pillow fort. "Man down Man down!" Twilight lifted Rarity onto a couch and then got back to 'business', no one really won, but they did admit Twilight did a good job for being the only one-pony team. Eventually Luna joined in. She had tucked him into bed by them, afterall it was almost ten o'clock. Luna joined Twilight, Rainbow Dash called unfair, but they just laughed it off when Luna replied with, "We hast to worry about your pillow getting impaled by our own horns!" Rarity woke up and joined Rainbow Dash, although she wasn't really needed because FlutterShy was absolutely 'owning' as Luna put it, everyone. Rarity built up the fort while Rainbow Dash and FlutterShy defended her. They were very serious about the pillow fight. After about three hours of Pillow fighting and just plain hanging out, they all fell asleep. After all that, they all somehow managed to have some fun.

"The time I feared most is near, the time when Celestia lost herself- but this is even worse than I Imagined"

Twilight woke up with smoke in the air. She immediately screamed and feared Celestia had went 'Solar' and attacked the castle. "Twilight! what's wrong!?!" Rainbow Dash flew through the door, "Sorry, Applejack and I forgot about the toast- we kinda burnt it" a hiss came from the kitchen, "Darn it Pinkie! we didn't need the fire extinguisher!" AppleJack's muffled voice came through the foam that seeps through the door, "Sorry!" Pinkie Pie's equally muffled voice came through. Rainbow Dash looked over at Twilight and blushed a bit. Twilight looked by her side to find FlutterShy snuggling up to Twilight's wing. When Twilight attempted to remove FlutterShy from her wing, The yellow pegasus held on tighter and mumbled, "Angel . . . Stay right here mister. . . we need to get carrots. . ." Twilight blushed brightly and eventually had AppleJack and Rainbow Dash pry FlutterShy from Twilight's krinkled wing. AFter some preening and breakfast with the rest of her friends, Twilight got back to reading. "Twilight, are you sure you want to continue this?" AppleJack had unwillingly asked her this, it was not that she did not care, but was afraid of what Twilight might find. "Yes, this book hold the only information that could help her. We need to know what happened after Auroria came to talk it out with them." "Who in the hay is Auroria?" AppleJack looked down and then at the rest of her friends, "Well, I guess we should leave her to it" They walked out of the quiet room, the clicking of tendons and tapping of hooves on the floor. The clicks and taps grew distant, Twilight waved and they left, the smile on her face moments earlier faded and she picked up the book, only to find a note on it,

Twilight-

What you shall find my or may not terrify you,

But please, just Please realize that

Celestia is not a monster

nor is Luna

Akikilr has Twisted both of them

But they are kind and loving ponies

Twilight didn't know who wrote it, The note however did not help her feel better though, not that it was meant to. She turned to where she left off, her feather marking her exact place.

Celestia limped inside the first plane. Her equine soul case had a crack in, It seemed to pour energy from it. The energy went from a calm yellow color to a violent red, and then disappeared. Akikilr was sucking up her strength so she would not be able to stop him. But she had a plan. Moments before her soul case cracked and Akikilr fed off of her, she sent a message to Luna. It was a plan. "Celestia- how will that work?, Akikilr will know if we get close to each other!" Celestia panted and then sent another message "Remember when we snuck into the vault? " "yeah." " I'll distract him, and you'll run this way, then we can form a spell together strong enough to hold him off, we'll regain control of our bodies and we can seal him away" "but sister... Akikilir is bounded to you soul, if we seal him back in the statute. . . you'll be stuck there too-" "Luna... I know that- but I can fight him! I will escape it! I promise, as soon as this is all over, I'll escape, we need to use the elements, but you have to fight NightMare!" "Ok, but you better come back Tia! if you're not back after a week I'm going in there myself!". Luna raced for what seemed like forever in the first plane, but truly an hour there was only a minute or so in Equestria. Celestia sent up a beacon spell hoping Luna would see it. Luna saw a far off bright flash and changed directions towards it, "Oh yeah I have wings" Luna hit herself in the face and her wings unfolded and she flew. But eventually she remembered she had to be 'sneaky' and slunk down. Celestia waved her over. Luna walked slowly, but then faster and faster until she was in a full on run. Tears filled her eyes and she jumped into the loving embrace of her sister. "What!?! NO!?! CELESTIA STOP THIS NOW!" Akikilr leapt towards them, But bounced off, A soft pink bubble had formed around them The beats tried to get up, but it was quickly weakening from what energy it stole was given back to both Luna and Celestia. Akikilr became weaker and weaker, his normally muscular figure became a small skinny husk. As he tried to get up, but the more he tried the faster his lower half turned to stone "Wha-What are you doing! CELESTIA!!!" Celestia and Luna let go of each other and both said, "What we should have done long ago" Akikilr chuckled a bit, then laughed, but it was methodical. 'I may not be able to destroy Celestia, but I can destroy something much more... Important" A beam of Red light shot towards Luna, Celestia tried to block it, but she was too late. A purple vortex sucked Luna in and she disappeared. "Luna!" Celestia pulled on her sister's hooves but was thrown backwards by the energy emitted from the vortex. The vortex closed as suddenly as it appeared. "AKIKILR!" Celestia yelled at the creature, but he was not there. Celestia spat out evil curses, but to no avail. Calm down Celestia, He wants you to get mad, I can't let him take over again Celestia returned to the real world to find Auroria's mangled body laying on the ground next to where they were standing only moments before. She expected to see fire somewhere. Instead though she found shards of black crystals- they were lodged in the ground, in the walls, trees, but also in Auroria's shoulder. "Auroria!" Celestia ran towards her, crimson blood gushed from the wound, Carefully Celestia pulled out the largest shard, but quickly found out that there were possibly hundreds of tinier ones still in the gaping wound. "Auroria, your gonna be fine-" "Celestia. . . I'm sorry- you need. . . to get the Elements of Harmony. . . and stop- HER!" Auroria fainted and whispered "It's ok, I'll be fine. . ." Celestia bandaged up Auroria,It's not very good, but it'll do, Celestia tied up the bandage, got up and ran towards the castle where the elements were kept. She arrived to find six stond arbs, each representing apart of friendship; Kindness,Loyalty,Mirth, Forthright, and Altruism, the one in the middle represented Magic. He horn lit up and the orbs rose into the air, only to have a large crystal shard to destroy them. Celestia gazed at the pieces of stone that she thought she needed. A dark laughter came from the shadows, "so my little filly, come to take back the sun?" Celestia's wing fell by her sides. It's hopeless. . . It's all over Celestia had tasted defeat plenty of times before, but this was far more crushing than any other battle she has lost. Whether it was because she had felt like she failed everyone she had ever loved, or she had failed herself, but most of all Luna. But something began to burn inside her, something nothing could ever take away. The shards that were left from the elements began to raise. "I made a promise to two of the most important ponies I have ever met,. I will not become a monster, not like you, I will save Luna!" Celestia charged NightMare Moon, as the two ran towards each other, thoughts raced through Celestia's head, Luna, if you can hear me, use your elements. Mirth, Fourth Wright and Magic! I will use mine as well! we can fight this! Celestia's plea did not fall on deaf ears, Luna heard her used her memories to separate herself from NightMare. Celestia rose up into the air, her eyes glowed as bright as the stars. The rainbow from her mane coiled around her then shot towards NightMare Moon. "What are you doing! NOOOOOOOOOO" gleaming white cracks peared through NightMare Moon's skin, Celestia pushed them towards the moon at increasingly faster rates, after only five minutes of flying Celestia had pulled off nine sonic rainbooms. The earth shook beneath them, Skin cracked and then broke off, then more began to peel off and Rainbows pulled them off. "Ta, why are you hurting me?" It was a pitiful voice, scared and alone sounding. Luna was in front of she Celestia froze in fear but she was going to fast to stop. A hoof though pushed with her along, helping push Luna towards the Moon. It was Levier, "Lev-Levier" The green mare smiled and then pointed back to NightMare Moon who had played another trick on Celestia who pushed harder after this, but then Luna was actually was revealed, she was calm. But she was crying

They pushed forward to the Moon. Luna was unconscious, her body was battered and bruised. Celestia laid her down gently. Luna opened her eyes as the Rainbows began to come back to Celestia, "tia- promise me you'll come back" "I promise Luna, I will come back" Levier stood on a few feet away. After a long group hug. Levier sung Luna a lullaby, the one she sang to Celestia and Luna so many years ago. Luna would sleep for however long, but would most likely wake up on the moon with no recollection of what had happened in the past few months.

Celestia let go of her sister, she tried to fly back but she was too weak to get there on her own, so Levier carried her back. "Levier... I'm sorry I- I failed you" Celestia wept, but Levier's soft feathers comforted her. They wept together, over Luna, over the time they had not seen each other, and over all the things they felt they had done wrong. "Celestia, it's not your fault, I promise you" But kind words would not help Celestia now, all she really wanted was Luna.

Twilight closed the book, hoping this would be the last time. After eating a small snack, she realized that her friends were probably getting swarmed by newsponies. Darn it Twilight! you let all your friends get swarmed AND managed to make Celestia mad! CELESTIA for horse shoes sake! Twilight ran to the throne room to find it absolutely packed with ponies of all sorts, the blur of the crowd, questions mixed and the whole room just became a swirling mass of blabber, all eyes turned to the Twilight though,

"Princess Twilight! is it true that you were attacked by Celestia!"

"Celestia attacked her?"

"Princess Twilight where were you!?"

"Celestia attacked her?"

"Princess Twilight are you ok? you seem shook up!?"

"Celestia attacked her?"

"Princess Twilight- What are you doing here? you need to harness the elements and-"

"QUIET!"

The blur left the room, "Now, let's have some order. We're all decent ponies here aren't we?" a wave of nods and 'mhm-ing' filled the room and then pure silence,"Raise your hooves and I will answer them in an orderly fashion, do not ask the same question twice please." a fiery coated Pegasus raised his hoof, Twilight picked him of course. He had a strong build, a glossed orange mane and nicely preened feathers, "Phoenix Feather from the Hoofington Post, where's Celestia! she's been gone for over four days!" his tone was somewhat annoyed but a tinge of guilt when Twilight's eyes seemed to sink into her head. "well, You see" Twilight had to think fast, the eyes stared at her, looking for an answer but she had none to give, " Celestia is at an Important meeting" "Not even a good lie" a cold chill went up her spine as some pony uttered those words. She felt like running, but she couldn't, she had to defend Celestia's honor as long as she could, another hoof raised up, then another, then another until almost every pony in the room had their hoof in the air. Noise filed the room, the bliss of silence in the room turned once again into utter chaos. then a stranger sound filled Twilight's ears. Static. It got louder and louder, it drowned out the noise. It became so loud it hurt, the pain stretched down from her head into her body, then to her hooves, her vision began to blur and morph into stranger shapes and forms. Voices around her were only slightly recognizable, they were muffled, the only things she could pick out were emotions, most were either confusion or disappointment. Either that or anger. Twilight felt distant, and scared, Alone almost, even though her friends were a few feet away, and possibly a hundred ponies filled the room. But she still felt a cold feeling that weakened her every second. Fear filled her like a glass, but it was already brimmed. She tried to tune it out, but the static only grew louder, it shrieked and cried out, it only grew louder, her heartbeat pounded through this though, it was loud. But also normal, not too fast, even though she expected it to be. It pounded along with the static, while something else screamed behind it. The voices became clearer, but also almost fuzzy at the same time.

"She's a liar."

"What's wrong with her?"

"Why her eyes like that?"

"Is she even paying attention?"

"I can't believe she would lie!"

"Is she ok? she looks so cold"

"She's sweating,gross"

But one stuck out to her.

"She's terrible. I hate her, she's a liar. How could she lie about Celestia, and yell at us! where's Celestia! Tell us!"

Twilight felt like the ground beneath her disappear, and she fell into blackness, unable to move let alone even blink. Then she hit something. She was back. There was no static, the loud beat of her heart stopped, and the voices grew quiet. she realized she had raised her hoof, this meant everyone was to be quiet. "Celestia is at an Important meeting, that is all I know. I will alert all of you if I get any word whatsoever. As of right now, I am in the same boat as you. Celestia only told me she was leaving for a meeting. I am sorry if I upset you." many eyes blinked, many hooves wrote, but no words were spoken. The bliss of silence had filled not only the room but her mind. Peace. Cadence was right, I just need to breath. a heavy sigh came from the mare. As ponies filed out, only one remained. A grey colt stood there, writing down something, but he failed to notice the others leave. When he noticed this, he ran right up to Twilight, his smile was huge compared to to his size. He fluttered his small wings. "Ehm, Princess Twilight! can I ask you a question?- Silver Heart from Sunnysprings! the little school house down from here!" Twilight paused for a moment, "Go ahead". "You seemed scared for a moment, did the other newzies scare you? I know they can be overwhelming" His tone was concerned but beaming none the less. "Yes, I was a bit frightened by the other News Ponies, also it's a pleasure to meet you Silver Heart" Twilight answered with a true smile, she didn't need to lie. "okey-dokey Princess! er- I gotta go, my mom's here to pick me up- it was nice meeting you" An elegant Alicorn stepped in the door way, she was tall and had a pure white coat. Her snow white mane and long tail added to her beauty. Her piercing blue eyes and kind looking exposure hid a large scar across her face. He ran up to his mother, an excited voice echoed "I met Princess Twilight! an actual Princess mommy!" Silver Heart jumped up and down in his mother's face, she smiled as warmly as she could, but pain hid behind it. As she left, a Mechanical leg was made visible after she walked back through the doors, her tail had hid it for her. A pang of guilt waved through Twilight. She stood there on her own four feet, without a mark of battle across her face. Not a hair out place, she was not pretty or elegant like many others, she thought she was boring. But this beautiful mare in front of her, who most likely provided for her son, had a mechanical leg, and a defining scar across her face but she still managed to look absolutely gorgeous. Twilight walked calmly up to this mare, "Hello miss-" "Psychí̱, your highness- Did my son bother you?" "Not at all! I just wanted to say that he's a very polite colt, and it's a pleasure to meet you by the way" "My- son? Your highness, I don't quite understand why'd you talk to us, you're a princess-" "yes, but your son juts showed me a great kindness, most of the others didn't seem to care whether or not I was ok, but your son understood this and stayed after to ask me if I was ok, and also finish up some notes." Psychí̱ had a warm smile on her her face, the pain before had left, replaced with love. She nuzzled her son, who beamed more than possible, he fell over soon after. "It was a great honor to meet you Psychí̱" "As was to you, Twilight- Ehm I mean Princess!" "It's quite alright" Psychí̱ and Silver Heart left. Twilight did not know if she would ever see the two again, but she did know that she would remember them if she did. As she walked back her friends looked at her with mostly confusion, except for FlutterShy, who understood what happened. She understood that Twilight was exercising kindness, but also humbleness. Twilight was just a pony with a fancy title, not at all the pony she had seen before her. Psychí̱ went through something, and that had connected with Twilight. While other ponies may have looked down on her, or be rude because she was different, Twilight had stepped down and talked to Psychí̱, also not because she felt bad for her, well maybe a little, but also because Silver Heart did truly show kindness as well. And that's all that counted in the end.

Luna sighed as she admired her night. Her moon glowed brilliantly like most nights. But tonight was different, her sister was not there. She had left Luna alone, for the past week infact, No one knew where she was. This however was kept under lock and key, the public was not to know that the herald of the Sun was gone, but Luna knew this would not last forever. Somepony would find out, whether or not they were ready. Luna had a plan in mind though, but this required Twilight to be in charge of all of Canterlot and affairs with it. This would not be a long trip, but Luna still wasn't sure Twilight was ready to handle all these papers. Twilight assured Luna though she could handle three days of country-ruling. This didn't help Luna feel better though. Even with the royal advisors and court officials there along with the Twilight's friends to help her, Luna was doubtful of Twilight could handle this. But she had to leave this enormous job in Twilight's hooves, Luna could not have anypony follow her for her plan to even get started.

"Hehe . . . . . HAHAHAHAHAHAHA" a broken mare stumbled through the Everfree forest. Her mane was mangled and very short, it was mostly pink but some was darker and other parts were lighter. her hooves were a dark red, with crack that glowed orange. The tips of her wings had small ember-like feathers fall off. She stumbled and had trouble keeping herself upright, insane laughter occasionally sprang from her mouth. Her eyes were pure black, nothing there. Celestia was having a tough time holding herself together, she wasn't doing a good job in the first place anyways, Akikilr overwhelmed her with insanity. But she didn't know why.

He can't separate himself from her

He can't consume her soul

at least without killing himself

So why?

Why would he do this to her?

There's nothing to gain

Only to loose

Therein was her answer

Akikilr wanted her to feel more loss

so he could take control and get revenge

But that couldn't happen

Celestia wouldn't let him.

A cloaked Alicorn stepped quietly through the everfree forest. She was looking for something, but became lost in the search. The sky overhead was covered with thick branches, The mare did not want to alert anything that lurked in the darkness. She was powerful, but had no desire to get in a fight with a manticore or a dragon. After making camp for the night, she planned to wait out until day, if the Sun even rose. The dim firelight was comforting however, comforting enough for her to take off her cloak. The dark blue Alicorn quietly sipped some water she brought with her. It was not necessarily quiet, but there was no talking of royalty or money or power, only the trickle of a creek somewhere nearby, and the rustling of leaves from the canopy above. It was a peaceful noise she had not heard in a very, very long time. The fire cracked a bit, but nothing too loud. Luna enjoyed the peace, it let her 'let go' of the events days before. Her sister losing control, Twilight screaming at her, but mostly just the business of being a princess. Constantly having questions asked, constantly having ponies doubt her, constantly just being busy, she rarely had time to herself. BUt she was ok with that, she had got the attention she had wanted so many years ago. A small smile crept upon Luna's face. The Alicorn was content with her new found life. But that would have to wait, she needed to find a friend. This could only be done in the day, when it was less dangerous to be out and about.

Luna awoke to find a little grey filly examining her, "GAH!" "AH!" they yelled in each other's faces. "Little colt! what are you doing in the everfree forest?!" Luna quickly got up, "Me and my mommy live her- Princess Luna" the little pegasus owed "what are YOU doing in the forest?" "I-eh. . . we think tis' not for the ears of a filly" "I just said I lived here with my mommy" The little filly furrowed his brow in concentration "I'm bringing you to my mommy" the little colt was stronger than he looked, seeing that he was able to drag Luna, she did not protest, she was hungry after a day of walking. She was led to a small house, a village could be seen in the distance. The small house glowed a warm golden color. It's base was cobblestone as most of it was, but It's supports were wood. A chimney smoked from a fire below. The grey colt walked down a path and opened the door, waving his hoof to come in. "er, little colt- we hast yet to lower the moon- how do thou know which way is home?" "easy! I just- actually I just kinda learnt to a little while back so I didn't get lost" Luna felt a pang of regret, knowing that she was about to face probably two angry parents. But when the door opened, Luna found instead of parents, only one white alicorn, scar across the face, and a mechanical back leg. "Princess Luna?" The mare quickly bowed and let Luna in. "what are you doing here?" The white alicorn had 'nervous' written all over her face, of course not literally, but from the mare's expression told Luna that she barely had guests, let alone a princess in her cottage. "I'm here on an important mission, but first I need to lower the moon" "ok, go right ahead, there a balcony upstairs" The stairs creaked as she lightly stepped on them. As Luna got to the top of the stairs, she examined the house. Wooden floor with small quilt rug at the top, a medium sized bed in the middle. A shelf held various toys and pictures, a book shelf sat across from the bed. Pictures were stuck onto the walls, drawings of a family. The scene,although cute, was disheartening, but Luna was not sure why. Was it pity? or was it because this place reminded her of a distant memory. A dim lantern glowed in the corner. "Sorry if it's not what you're used to" "Oh, it's fine. It just reminds us of-" Her voice was cut off. "We're sorry, We just need to lower the moon then we will be out of thy hair" "it's quite alright Princess" Luna lowered the moon and the Sun rose once again. She then flew off "We thank thou for thy balcony!" "No problem Princess!" The little colt yelled behind her. Luna had somepony to find, and fast. Celestia could not handle herself for much longer, Luna had known this without even seeing her sister. She could feel her sister's insanity filling. This insanity would spread like a disease, first the unstable of mind would crack, then weaker minds would, eventually those who were strongest would be the only left if not stopped. Even then they might not possibly survive. Who know what amount of insanity Celestia has let grow over the years. Celestia didn't do this on purpose. That was something Celestia always had to deal with, unlike a normal pony, Celestia's madness would not simply 'fade'. She had to materialize it and then quickly put it into an enchanted jar. But this required another Pony to help her channel it. Luna before NightMare Moon's Time would do this, but when Luna was on the Moon, Celestia could not get rid of it. So for a thousand years it had been flowering unchecked. Luna was surprised that her sister had managed to keep herself together with all the pressure of Kingdom ruling. But there was no time for that, Luna had to find somepony, if she didn't find her soon, The Seven Days of Fire may have a second story.

Brief Explanation:

Ok so when Celestia touched Akikilr's statue, she had enough magic to trigger Akikilr awake, therefore letting him into her soul case so he could seek revenge on Levier, who previously sealed him off with his sister, you he tried to protect. Levier had done this because Akikilr kinda ate souls. Hence why Akikilr had tried and failed to consume Celestia's. Though Celestia would have probably gotten eaten if it weren't for Luna, who took some of Akikilr's magic when she hugged Celestia. But this was Luna's downfall, because he was able to morph her jealousy into envy, which made her into NightMare Moon after he was able to take control after Luna lost control. Akikilr was planning to use Luna to get Celestia angry enough to raise the Sun whether to moon was there or not, making a Luna angry, then they would battle, and Akikilr could realise himself, but thankfully that hadn't happened or the ponies of Equestria would have been in even more trouble than they already were.

Personality: Boastful, Ignorant (as seen when she tells Celestia she's a freak after the whole incident) but also somewhat loyal to her parents, also not a good liar. This almost gets her killed.

Mid afternoon. The birds of the everfree quieted when Luna stepped by. It was rare to see a pony in the forest, so most birds were cautious after the sight of one, one able to cast spells and fly at the same time had also added to their fright. Luna walked through a valley of sorts. A stream flowed through the narrow opening while various plants clung to the side. The everfree was a wild and untamed place, but during the day it was quite pleasant. Birds chirped after they knew Luna was no threat. Insects crawled around as they pleased. Luna enjoyed the peace. Though, Luna was getting more and more nervous, she wasn't quite sure where she was. Her vague idea brought her little comfort. It had been a long, long time since she had been in here. Luna quickened her pace, she had no idea where she would be. The perfect opening appeared when she got through the valley, Now all she had to do was fly up, find a clearing, investigate iy, and then put the rest of her plan into action, although this plan was more of a desperation.

"Celestia? wanna go play in the Garden?" a yellow filly said "Yes!" Celestia eagerly yelled back from her balcony, her pink mane sat nicely curled on her head, her horn's aura dimmed and she flew over. A smile spread across their faces as they left for the garden. but a blue and red aura lifted Celestia into the air. "Young lady, thy mother and father said you can't play with others" Celestia looked down. It had been a month since the incident. "Just let her go play." A green kirin stepped from the shadows and scolded the maid. "Princess Celestia can still play with her friends" It was Levier herself. "It's not my fault if thou hast gotten cursed" "Celestia was curious, do not blame her for this" Celestia dropped into the air and ran off with the other filly. A mark that almost resembled a chain was painted onto her back leg. It had appeared sometime after Celestia came back. It was a constant reminder of what she had done. But life went on. Though most of the guards, maids and various court ponies had either distanced from her, or were afraid of her. She hated it, but she could only ignore it, she couldn't lash out,That would only make it worse.

He was tall but not too broad. He was courageous, if not a bit naive. Their love was calm and quiet, small gestures of compassion, this is what held them closest. He was grey with a blue and black mane, and large agile wings neatly kept to his sides. He was not royalty, but he was kind and gentle. That was all that mattered to Celestia. But he was slain, by her own hoof, not intentionally, but she had always felt it was her own fault. NightMare Moon had killed him in an aerial attack, one of many that took hundreds of lives. He was one of the few ponies who walked beside her when she was humiliated, and dragged with ropes like a fool. Many times she fell, he helped her up. The guards said nothing to him, only because of how much stronger he was. He may have only been a pegasus, but he was as tall as Celestia, if not taller. But she failed him, she went off, she could not protect him, even if she so desperately wanted to save him, or comfort him in his dying breaths. But she was hundreds of miles away, unable to help anypony really. I don't know why. I don't know why I am like this, But I need to hold myself together for as long as I can

Luna stepped down into a clearing, not just any clearing, but one that held Levier, or at least,What was left of her. The area was calm, a warm breeze barely rustled the trees. a small garden held many flowers, but also at the end of the path was a cherry tree, which leaned over a pond. The pond only had two fish in it, one blue koi fish, and another white koi fish. On the bottom of the pond, was a colorful symbol, the Equestrian coat of arms. It was Luna and Celestia, they seemed to chase each other. The blue fish looked up at Luna, it's eyes flashed blue, Luna's eyes flashed back. They were having a conversation. You must be Luna, Levier talked about you when she made this place. Yes, I'm sorry we can't talk right now- But I need to see Levier! Find the large tree straight ahead. But Luna, Levier is not- Luna ran up ahead, Though, she would wish she had taken the rest of the fish's advice. It was a depressing seen. A small Base held elegant writing and architecture, above that was a stone Kirn, whose name was Levier. Her head was down, hair hiding one side of her face, Her body seemed to be fine, but she looked hurt. Her wings fell down to her sides. But one thing that stood out were the crystal tears were frozen in time. Luna's eyes blurred,only focussing on her old caretaker. Her friend. One who really cared about her, one who taken care of her, who listened to her when Celestia could not. This isn't right, this can't be! Luna' eyes filled with tears, Levier, this can't be! you're not dead! you can't be! Luna got up I need To find Twilight and the others fast,something was wrong,Celestia could not keep herself together long enough

Using all that power to transform took a lot of energy, However, the creature came up with a plan, a simple spell that made her look like Celestia. She would masquerade as 'Tia' until her energy was no longer depleted. The three tips of her helmet glowed crimson red, and in only a few moments she looked like the Alicorn she had just overwhelmed. Luna and all the others that caused her trouble would pay. Dearly

What seemed like Celestia stumbled down to the Castle, she was acting. Her cuts and bruises masked a dark and deceptive beast, this creature was everything Celestia never wanted to be.

She let out a strange grumble. "If she ok? that didn't sound like a sound a pony would make" the creature felt a pang of fear "It's probably just the tube" a blue pegasus answered back. "Hey look, she's awake!" a pink earth pony jumped up, the creature put on a small smile, I will very much enjoy killing them later, "I'm surprised she awake, it's only been a few hours",My strength is coming back quicker than expected, I will not need to waste my time with these fools the creature smiled even more. "Tia!" a blue alicorn squeezed the creature "It's nice to see you too sister" Luna's eyes filled with tears, "It looks like we didn't need Levier after all" Celestia felt this fear again, this is what filled her, this is what Celestia was afraid of. I can't protect the ponies I love. That was Her greatest fear, this is what LightMare Sun was manifested out of, Fear. Celestia was the Element of Fear, one of the counterparts of Disharmony, they were not quite as powerful as The Elements of Harmony, but To use one against another would be. . . Disastrous.

Luna ruffled through papers alongside what looked like her sister. Various letters and documents that needed to be checked over, or resorted. This was what most days were like, boring but peaceful. Twilight and her friends left back for Ponyville, and Luna was reassured that Celestia was fine, if not a bit scared. Celestia still had a bandage around her neck, but their subjects did not mind either way, they were just happy Celestia was back, even though she wasn't. The creature had all her strength back, Today will be the day, The day will not end, and No pony will stop me!. But she would have to wait, It was not quite evening yet, but it was close enough for the anticipation to course through the creature masquerading as the Princess of the Sun, or was this the Princess? We were both Celestia, both are in the same body, but I do not feel like Celestia, I am cruel and deceptive, while the Princess that her ponies know is kind and truthful. But there was no time to worry about whether or not she was similar to her kinder persona, because she needed to make sure that The Elements of Harmony did not stop her, if this happened, who knows what would happen to her, she could be turned to stone, or banished from the plane, or even pushed out into space. No, I am far too powerful for that, that weakling Sparkle could fight even if her life depended on it. Fear, that is what LightMare Sun was made of, That is why she hurt others,so they would feel the fear she feels.

The creature stepped onto the balcony with Luna, who was quite excited; Celestia had just been released from hospital care, she was strong enough to get around on her own, and breath on her own. "Sister, is it time to lower the Sun yet?" Luna looked over at her sister, who watched the Sun dial. "No, not yet." the creature smirked "Not at all" Luna was a bit confused by her sister's behaviour, but then it hit her like a rock slide. "Your- Your not Celestia!" a circle of fire surrounded the older Mare, whose skin just seems to burn off, the Circle rose up and surrounded the creature, who said nothing. When the flames died down as quickly as they came, LightMare Sun stood where Luna thought her sister did just moments ago. Fully armored and fiery wings held by her sides. Luna eyes widened in terror, she ran as quickly as she could away, She needed to find the guard and alert them to evacuate the city. LightMare Sun just stood there though, she had no intention to kill all the ponies right away, I'm going to have some fun first.

All six elements felt the wave of insanity from Canterlot, but they were not the only ones, for almost an hour, loud static filled hundreds of thousands of ponies all over Equestria. None went insane though, although most were irritated or scared, terrified even. Twilight had heard it before though, this is what frightened her, but when she asked her friends, they heard it too. "Well what in the hay are we waitin' for?! we gotta get to Luna quick, I got a bad feeling about this" "Luna won't lower the Moon, either that or she can't, we gotta help" AppleJack reassured her friends, they did not pack this time, they just ran, AppleJack was right when it came to her funny feeling, and Pinkie's 'Pinkie sense' kicked in as soon as LightMare arose, not that they knew that.

The streets of Canterlot were completely empty, no pony not even a guard. tap tap tap tap FlutterShy whispered, "what was that?", tap tap tap tap "It's getting closer!" Rarity anxiously explained, tap tap tap tap "Girls! calm down, it could just be somepony" Twilight hushed her friends, "You guys go hide, I'll stay here." they needed no other warning, they hid behind barrels, tables, inside shops anything. tap tap tap tap then it stopped. tap Fear spread up Twilight like a vine. tap tap tap tap,This isn't good, it's getting way too close and I can't even set it! Twilight readied herself for whatever lurked behind the corner, tap tap tap tap. Twilight's heart sank when she saw what it was, It was LightMare Sun, her head was down, but not in a scared way, it was like she was looking for something. Twilight's wings fell down, the spell she prepared before just vanished, like it wasn't there. The creature looked up at Twilight, The place where it's eyes should be were empty, almost hollow. Twilight heard the static, it got louder, and louder and louder, but it hurt this time, Twilight could feel her inner insanity clawing it's way out.

LightMare Sun picked up the broken Alicorn, her body was mangled and battered, even though LightMare Sun had not laid a hoof on her, just the insanity coming from her was enough to bring Twilight to her knees. "STAY AWAY FROM HER!" The five other elements lept into action, AppleJack attempted drag Twilight away, but was pushed backwards by LightMare Sun. Rainbow Dash dove into the creature who deflected Rainbow Dash and threw her into a wall. Pinkie Pie though, seemed to be able to do more, she dropped and spinned and took LightMare off her hooves, she kicked and punched, she floated like air around LightMare Sun, who took the blows easily. But eventually, Pinkie dropped back and her friends noticed a marking, it looked like a red thorn spreading up Pinkie Pie. "The Thorn spells get everypony" The creature smirked under it's helmet. Red electricity jumped through Pinkie Pie, she cried out in pain, unable to stand by the end. The fight went on but not for long, they were afraid that another would be injured, Pinkie crawled away, and treated Twilight as best she could.When all hope seemed lost, a blue bolt of Lightning struck down, it was Luna, but she looked like NightMare moon. Luna. . . no,Twilight could barely think. NightMare Moon stepped down. and walked up to LightMare Sun, who was enjoying herself. The pitch black alicorn stomped her hoof almost on top of LightMare Sun's. LightMare did the same, they stared at each other for awhile, but NightMare Moon was having trouble staying upright, because Luan had not gone mad, in fact she was just using her nightmare form to deter LightMare Sun, and get the Elements wielders out of there, And fast before another one got hurt. Luna charged up a spell, and threw it at LightMare Sun, who threw it back, they did this again and again until LightMare Sun made and error, she did not expect Luna to use put more magic back into the spell, so she got the full force of Luna's spell. It rattled her armor and infuriated the fire in her tail, the flames around her exploded, Rarity quickly made a barrier to protect her friends from the blast. But LightMare Sun did not move. She looked at the unicorn, sending out waves of insanity, Rarity's eyes were filled with fear and horror, a tear of blood slid down her face. Luna rammed into LightMare SUn, who only stumbled back a few steps and then regained it footing. "You have to get out of here!" Luna called out as she wrestled LightMare Sun, Rarity was dragged along by Twilight, who was already having enough trouble walking by herself. Twilight only looked back once, but already knew well enough she shouldn't have. Luna was pinned down and bleeding, LightMare standing triumphantly above her. Twilight teleported and slammed her hoof into LightMare Sun's helmet. The creature stumbled but before she could do anything Twilight picked up the battered Princess of the Night and teleported away, Far away with the others. "Twilight. . . Thank you, We wouldn't have survived without thy bravery" Luna got back up and transformed back into the Luna she knew, ethereal mane and dark blue body. Twilight looked at Canterlot. It was up in flames. Dark plumes of smoke came from the fire below. "She's burning Canterlot?" Twilight said "Yes. LightMare Sun is killing anyone who was still there. Twilight-" Twilight stared at Canterlot, several explosions were set of, some embers managed to be blown towards her. "Luna... this isn't Celestia right?" "No Twilight. This is what Celestia never wanted to be." Twilight looked back at Canterlot, or at least what was left of it.

"This cannot be good" Twilight had uttered those words a hundred times while reading the last few lines.And she was right.

A surge of magic erupted from the statue.It was hot and bright as the Sun itself,hotter even.Celestia's eyes roled back and her eyes began to glow.Her once beautiful pink mane turned violent shades of red.Her skin made an awful cracking sound as her body began to go limp.Then her white coat began to turn darker from her hooves up.Cracks of lava began to break Celestia's body.But she stood intact.Celestia cried out in agony again and again.Luna could only watch."Tia I'm coming!" Celestia spat up blood in a attempt to keep her sister away. Luna galloped to her elder sister,using her wings to streamline her body.a circle of flames formed around her sister's body. Luna stopped before the flames as they connected.Luna had to think quickly.Luna leapt through the fire and embraced her sister. Celestia tried to stop her, but again spit up more blood,she would embrace her sister back but she was already burning Luna. "Tia, please don't leave me! your the only one I have left" the flames died down and Celestia's body return into it's normal form, she was bruised battered, burnt a bit too, her beautiful mane and tail were burnt in some areas an normalish in others. Blood had covered Celestia's chin and apart of her chest, her hair was also much shorter. Luna's body was a bit dirty and burnt, but overall in better shape than her elder sister. "I promised you I wouldn't, remember" Tears filled up the sisters eyes, and they began to cry as the Sun came up. They thought the night would never end.Two dark figures speed towards them, Celestia immediately jumped in front of Luna and got in a fighting stance. As the two figures landed another figure was with them.Celestia loosened up a bit when she found out who it was. It was her mother and father.Celestia expected that she would be banished, or never allowed to see Luna again. But instead, One of the Figures stepped forward, and hugged both of them.StarSwirl was with them, her hda most likely come to identify what happened."Thou hast done wrong my dearest children" I think we should kill him.He called you "dearest" we both know you're not though. You father is not a very good liar, so destroy him Celestia flailed and went limp again Oh, my bad, your sister messed up our connection when she did that oh so brave move. foolish if you ask me Celestia said something that probably would have got her flogged if none of them noticed her eyes became that of a snake when she said that."Princess Celestia are you ok?" her mother gasped when she said that word.Celestia hid her face in her hair when she finally got up, she could barely walk, let alone fly.Luna got on her sister's back,their father tried to stop her but Celestia told him "it's ok, I did burn her a bit after all, I also gave all of you a fright".Their parents looked concerned, which they were, but also confused,that beast is said to swallow any mind in it's way, breaking it's host body into insanity Queen Galaxia thought quietly.that's when Auroria appeared out from behind the bushes,"Are you mad! you did not see what that thing became, She's a monster!" Tears filled Celestia eyes, she tried to hold them in, but those words really stung Celestia's heart,"Auroria,how-how could you?" Celestia cried, "yeah, go cry me a river BEAST" That's when Luna jumped off her sister and landed in front of Auroria,"You have no right to call my amazing sister a beast, you are the beast, constantly picking on others just because you think your better them then?!?! well I have something new for you, YOU'RE NOT, in fact you're just as good as everyone else!".Auroria is bigger than Luna, a little shorter than Celestia, but somehow, Luna, the tinier one, managed to defend not only her pride, but also Celestia's."Also Celestia is not a beast, she is one of the Kindest ponies I know!" StarSwirl pointed out as he stepped forward to defend his student.StarSwirl was an old stallion but still a strong one."young lady,leave your sisters alone. They have through a lot last night, I don't think they need anymore." Auroria lifted off the ground and flew towards the castle. Celestia sniffed a bit and continued walking.

Twilight checked the books cover and still could not find out where it belonged,"now, where do you go..." magically the book lifted into the air and then into it's place,who did that? Twilight looked around and saw no one.Twilight looked at the time and realized she had been reading for awhile.she walked through the shelves into the door in which she came, wrote her name down, the book she got, where she got it and why she was getting in it in a small log book on the counter, the doors opened and she left.

Twilight walked back to the Castle to find Celestia and Luna not there, the a court adviser had told them they went to lower the sun and raise the moon.Twilight left to the Balcony to find that Luna had just raised to moon. "oh Twilight, are you, you look fatigued". Luna said to Twilight as she walked by her sister "Fire-StarSwirl-Sun-moon-" Twilight fell over and her eyes spun "you got to chapter 3 did you not?" Luna asked as she helped Twilight up.Celestia looked over at the horizon and heard the voice again, thankfully it was quiet Ooo! i have an idea.Why not kill them? your sister still have that thing inside of her, and you very well know now that your faithful student has this power, you know that certain being will go after it" I know that very well Akikilr" Celestia whispered to herself, while Luna had the "luxury" of being able to talk to NightMare Moon with her mind, Celestia did not because of Luna hugging her, but if she had not, Celestia would have been fully consumed.

After a week of healing,Celestia could still hear the voice.It began becoming clearer with every time she ignored it, but not too loud, because if it was too loud,it would kill her, and Akikilr with her.Years passed, their parents left them to rule Equestria, and many tainted ones were defeated.But little did they know, both of them were tainted.Luna had slowly become envious of her sister,ponies of all shapes sizes and groups came to give thanks to her day, ponies did admire Luna's night, in fact the night before they had a celebration for her night, Ponies admired her night just as much as Celestia's day, but Akikilr had slowly influenced the thought that no one cared about her. that's the Day it happened. It was around sunrise, the time Luna lowered the Moon to make way for the dawn. But this time was different. "Sister! how are you?" Celestia smiled widely as she saw her little sister standing there, but Luna did not smile back, in fact she glared,"is something wrong sister? was it when I spilled tea on you last night? I told you I was sorry" Celestia frowned a bit."sister. You will not be raising the Sun today." "Luna what are you talking about", "Celestia don't you see? the ponies of our kingdom care nothing of me nor my night" "they care,we had a celebration all over Equestria last night to celebrate you and your night! I even let you have more night so the ponies could celebrate it. remember?" "I do remember, but no one really liked, they just did what they were told" "it was the public's choice to celebrate, no pony had to" Luna grunted.Celestia tried to reason with Luna, but to no avail. Again and again Celestia tried to reason with her little sister, but she would not. An hour passed and whispers of Celestia weakening, they hit her ears in a short amount of time when in the Court a small group of starry unicorns walked up to her and told her they'd be happy to help her raise the Sun."I can raise Sun by myself, I appreciate the help-but i'm fine" Celestia smiled warmly as she answered."oh well it's noon and we're starting to get worried, the farmers said that if the Sun doesn't rise soon, their crops will suffer" Luna smirked and shuffled through her papers,Celestia thought to herself I'll just remind her that's it's way to late, and she'll let me raze the Sun "um, Luna sister,It's noon and the Sun has not risen" "I know that" "so-?" Luna ignored Celestia's last hint and stormed out of the Court room with her Lunar guards in tow"Terribly sorry, she's just in a bad mood" Celestia chased after her sister down the hallways and corridors to the Balcony,oh, so she is lowering the moon, thank goodness but what she found shocked her to her very core. The figure she found was not Luna.It was a tall ebony Alicorn, a blue flowing mane came from a blue helmet of sorts, she wore some other garments. A cutie mark that looked almost exactly like her sisters."my dearest sister." the Alicorn said in voice not her sisters,"Lu-Luna?" Celestia's voice said in barely a whisper, her body trembled at the kind of magic she felt coming from it."your-your not my sister!-what did you do with her!" Celestia's eyes narrowed a bit but she was still scared."I am Luna, just not her-her I am her envy of you, I was brought about because the ponies of this world do not care for the night" Celestia had not noticed, but the Unicorn that spoke to her just a minute ago came from the shadows "What are you talking about? I-I love the night. It gives me time to look at the stars, and calm down and relax from a day's work" the Unicorn stood behind Celestia but before the Unicorn could move a dark bolt of lightning struck it dead, it pierced the unicorn's throat. Blood poured from the wound, but as the Dark Alicorn picked up the seemingly life less body, the unicorn gurgled "I am loyal to Luna and Luna only.You are a beast, I do not regret anything" Before Celestia could stop the Dark mare, she decapitated the Unicorn with it's mane, it's lifeless body fell as the dark mare dropped it. Celestia looked in horror at the mangled body, it's cutie mark was actually a moon behind some clouds,But the dark mare cared not for this, she just looked down at it's body with a smile."your not Luna! your not your not your not!" "stop that foolish child, it's annoying." Celestia was grasped by it's mane and and held in front of it's face, the guards behind it snickered and sneered. "so This is the great Celestia? what a weak creature. wait-there is something strange about you..." The Dark Mare turned Celestia upside down and spun her around, examining her body."oh.I see what you are now.beast" "what are you talking about! I am an Alicorn, sister of Luna and...AUroria, daughter of Galaxia and Nebulis!" "don't talk to me like your better. Your as much as a freak as me inside" "YOU ARE NOT LUNA" Celestia's mane erupted into flames and the Dark mare dropped her, some of her Guards snickered and said;"Ooo she's got a temper to match!" the flames died down and her pink mane returned,"I expected that from you Akikilr" Celestia's stance and body numbed at the sound of that name "ho-how do you know that!?!" Celestia began to tremble again and The dark mare walked over to her "It's easy to tell when a weakling like you just gets some strength out of no where,where it came from with a power control as sloppy as his". Celestia's eyes became that of a snake again, but narrowed and still blue."oh so you've figured out how to work with her Akikilr? I can understand why though, if she dies so do you!" The dark mare broke out into insane laughter. Celestia smirked and the guards became as confused as the mare that commanded them.Then they noticed her eyes "I guess he tried to swallow you up like the others.But dear little Luna stopped him through his process and now hes trapped you-I could help you know" "I WILL NEVER LET YOU HELP HER!" Celestia spat up a bit of blood and Akikilr lost connection, "Luna-I'm sorry" Celestia began to weep as she fell down on her knees."I'll find a way to help you-I promise" "Beast of Night. I surrender.But do not hurt the citizens-I allow you to do anything to me in return, just please,leave our people alone" The Dark mare smirked "You should know my name before your punishment...It is NightMare Moon" NightMare Moon triumphantly Flew up into the air with her guards and shouted "From this night fourth,The Shall last...FOREVER and her guards cheered with "all hail the new queen!" "hail NightMare Moon!". Later that day-night I should say around afternoon market time, Celestia was beat and hour latter she was whipped, an hour after that she was beat again. Battered and bruised her own guards were forced to tie ropes around her along withe night guards. The solar guards cried while their once great Princess had been reduced to a weak mare. The night guards had more fun with it though. As an act of humiliation, she was led by the ropes around Canterlot. Some ponies laughed and scoffed at her, while most cried, one filly ran out and hugged her,but a night guards pushed him back into the crowd that had gathered as Celestia trudged through the streets. I'm sorry Luna, I wish I could do more but-I need to think, please understand that I love you! but I must find a way to protect you! If I kill her...I kill you Celestia quietly wept as she was led through the streets. Finley, they untied her. "Celestia of Equestria, I hereby strip you of your title as princess and banish you to the Everfree forest" NightMare Moon uttered without much care "I doubt we'll see each other ever again." and that was it. Her guards had tears in their eyes as she looked back one last time before she continued to stumble through the forest.

The End will be a Whole New Beginning

"That's her? I would have thought she'd be more monstrous." Celestia hid her face in her mane. "No matter, she's still a téras" Celestia knew that téras meant monster. I guess They use a different word so I might not know what they're saying. But I know. Celestia had only noticed the looks and stares two weeks ago. I don't know why... , She sat there, with the two speaking about her.

"She should be banished!"

"She isn't even a pony!"

"She's probably plotting right now"

"Plotting what? the destruction of the world!"

They scoffed and snickered, joking about how they could take her on with one hoof behind their back, at this, the two unicorns cared little for Celestia now that she was cursed. But what they were doing was far worse, Akikilr's whispered, Kill them, trust me you can hide their death, I will help . Celestia charged her horn with a spell. It was an arrow, made of a darkening light. Her eyes changed into that of a snake once more, "Celestia!" Levier quietly stopped Celestia, the unicorns looked back and Levier and Celestia froze in place, Celestia's body was half turned to try to get away while levier was leaning over Celestia and trying to push her jaw up. The unicorn's eyes widened and they walked off, Celestia pushing Levier off and glared at them as they left, her orange eyes glowing dimly. Levier pulled her away, but this would not be enough. Levier knew she would have to deal with the problem head on, but she couldn't upset Celestia, that could possibly make it worse. I need to calm Celestia without possibly upsetting her, doing that would most likely make things worse. Levier had a bit of a plan, but if it failed... No! That's not the Celestia I know! Levier held Celestia with her wing down the hallway into her and Luna's room. Celestia walked into the room, but only just because Luna was possibly the only one who she was comfortable with. Everyone else who attempted to comfort her just was shunned or ignored. Celestia did not want anyone but Luna or Levier, but fatigue filled her and she fell asleep easily.

"Celestia . . . please I know you're in there" Luna looked gloomily at the Bright midnight Sun, this was the thirteenth in a row. It was getting hot, really hot. The weather pegasi had done their best to supply water and rain, often just blocking out the sun, but this was weakening Luna, who was growing thinner each day. My moon won't be able to help me if I cannot summon it. But as long as Celestia wasn't causing any trouble, Luna did not chase after her. She didn't know what to do. The elements were located but LightMare Sun was not, even then what would they do? LightMare Sun would put up a fight before letting the elements take her.And none of the wielders were fighters, well except maybe Pinkie Pie, but she could not risk losing an Element, but also she could not bare the thought of one of them dying a painful and charring death. A plan unfolded in her mind. While I distract her, the elements will move into action. For a brief period of time I must fall into LightMare Sun's insanity. This is the only way, I will discuss this with the elements immediately "Your going to become loco-cocoa like the what's-her-face!?" Pinkie Pie stretched her neck over the couch, Luna sipped her tea. "If I will become as strong as her for just a few moments then you will have enough time to use your elements." Luna calmly said as she glanced up, Twilight though still resented this, "How will you pull yourself out of it then?" the static waved through Twilight's head, after a brief shake she realized that Luna was right, there is no other way. "Ok, where shall we hide?"

LightMare Sun walked through Ponyville, she walked gracefully and slowly, admiring many of the burnt market goers she just roasted. She looked down at a small filly trembling with it's now dead mother still down where she hid. "Pathetic" LightMare Sun hissed at the small Unicorn, who looked up with eyes full of terror, it said nothing but screamed, it's eyes teared with blood and the filly's eyes turned back into it's head. It was dead, still being comforted in it's mother's charred hooves. LightMare Sun rolled the body over, exposing a few feathers only sijed. Rarity watched this in horror along with the other elements hiding behind what was left of the market. Only moments earlier LightMare Sun shot a laser of fire down the market way, it did not stop for miles, the roar left behind could still be heard in the distance. There was no warning, except a few Pegasi who saw her silhouette in the sunlight. They were killed too though, she shot several thorn spells at them, each were powerful enough to kill a dragon, possibly even two. but then another silhouette came through the distance, it blurred in the hot evening sun, waving like the area was a dessert. It was NightMare Moon, LightMare Sun looked behind herself, well actually she turned only her head, almost a full three-hundred-sixty degrees. Her armor was quite flexible for how strong it was.

NightMare Moon let her sister's insanity consume her, but only just. A cracked smile spread across NightMare Moon's face, she giggled, then she laughed, then she absolutely bursted with insane laughter, her eyes dilated and then undilated constantly. She movements were loose and very watery. She charged up a spell and LightMare Sun did the same, except stiffer. Then ran at break-neck speeds, becoming faster and faster. LightMare Sun's flaming tail exploded with furry, while NightMare Moon's whirred past her, these speed could possibly kill any other creature not up to the task. LightMare Sun's eyes glowed hot red and they streaked across the air. Then they hit. A massive explosion of magic and rocks flew through the air, the elements and their wielders though put in harm's way were protected by a small spell Twilight had earlier put on them. Then out of the cloud two shadowing figures were fighting aggressively. Hissed and shrieks muffled through the cloud of dust. Red and blue glows from separate horns constantly threw more dust into the air, making it difficult to breath. LightMare Sun's tail and wings glowed through with malice, it was still hard to tell which one was who. Then blood spattered out of the cloud, and a familiar scream came through. Then another one that was also familiar, both seemed monstrous though, part beast but also with pony mixed in, almost layered over. There was a bit of dragon, then the voices of NightMare Moon and what was most likely LightMare Sun, but then a cry from Luna and Celestia, this only lasted a second though, because before a pony could blink they the two dueled again, once again sending dust flying. Then they flew up, both NightMare Moon and LightMare Sun were injured. NightMare Moon had a deep gash on one side of her face, while LightMare had a gushing wound on her side, but rather than blood both had something else; NightMare Moon had a deep purple liquid while LightMare Sun had lava climb down from the wound. They stared at each other, well NightMare Moon looked unamused, LightMare still showed no emotion. NightMare Moon swiveled her head around cracking it and then looking up drowsily as her wings awkwardly flapped. She flew head on into LightMare Sun who blocked and then swooped down at hit NightMare in the side of the head, sending her flying., She chased after the black alicorn then kicked her into the ground, sending a shockwave through the ground. NightMare Moon landed on her hooves and pushed off, using the shock wave to her advantage, she flew faster than LightMare could dodge or block, and was sent upwards, but she recovered herself, but NightMare Moon kept of coming, hitting her and hitting her into a tighter and tighter ball until. . .

"ENOUGH"

LightMare let out a screech and exploded into a fireball, almost as if a second miniature sun had appeared for a brief moment. NightMare Moon's eyes widened and she went flying backwards, unable to recover quickly enough before LightMare once again slammed her into the ground and then dove into her before she could get up. LightMare was about to slam her hoof into the black alicorn again when she was blocked, the black alicorn laughed insanely again and pushed LightMare backwards, her silhouette standing out once more against the evening sun. NightMare sent out hundreds over pure black crystals as her body was covered in a dark sphere of violent energy. LightMare stood calmly, waiting for the black crystals to get close enough. Just as they were about to hit her, she opened up a large magic circle that swallowed up the shards. LightMare smirked under her helmet and remarked with "weak" but then it hit her. Thorn spell. Pitch black thorn markings covered LightMare, her armor, even her tail. Then the electricity sprang up her body, she screamed in pain, well more like screeched. This was the Element's wielders cue. Twilight, AppleJack,Rarity,Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy ran out while LightMare was immobile. Luna regained her sanity and returned to her normal form, and helped Twilight with magic, supplying even more to stop LightMare Sun. "You- FOOLS-GAH!- I AM CELESTIA" the creature angrily hissed and Luna's magic held LightMare where she stood. "Your not my mentor. You will never be!" Twilight yelled as her eyes glowed white. A rainbow shot towards LightMare Sun, it was not only filled with their friendship, but also deep sadness and malice, The wielder's were all either angry or depressed that this is what Celestia hid away, too ashamed to tell anypony about. This made it stronger, most likely one of the most powerful uses of the Elements since that of Luna was brought back. The creature hissed and screamed as the Rainbows wrapped around it. Another dust cloud flew out. "Is everypony alright?" AppleJack called out as Luna helped her out. Luna felt her strength coming back to her, while the others beamed. "We did it!" Fluttershy smiled warmly. "Now, let's go get Celestia and help out, I bet she is mighty tired from this" Luna smiled and walked over to the remaining dust cloud. She expected to see her sister passed out, "Tia? thou hast a lot to cleaning to do!" Luna joked, she was trying to get her sister to not feel as bad, she knew that every time Celestia went solar, she was always guilty, she should be, but; "sitting here feeling sorry for yourself won't help" as Levier always said. A silhouette stood in the shadows, half bent over. "Tia!" Luna excitingly explained, but something was wrong. A dim glow from a fire glowed through.

Luna screamed.

Luna went silent again, but had a muffled scream behind this.

"GIRLS RUN!" Twilight used the "Royal Canterlot voice" so it would be loud enough so they could hear her. But the dust them flew out and a barrier of crimson magic formed over the remnants of the marketplace. Luna, lay in LightMare Sun's hooves. Her armor was cracked in some places, but otherwise fine. AppleJack banged on the barrier, but it was no use. LightMare Sun grabbed all the wielders except Twilight, who grabbed Luna's limp body and set her down on a patch of dusty grass. LightMare Sun threw the wielders on the ground and they became unconscious. She let go and glared at Twilight, eyes brightly glowing red. Twilight could feel her magic. It was much stronger then when she was a unicorn, but she still didn't know how to use it, she never learned any fighting techniques. "You're not Celestia- you can't be" LightMare walked up to the frightened Mare. "Oh but I am. The Celestia you knew however is not me. I am different, but we are one in the same. We are both Celestia, but I go by LightMare Sun, but then again- like you said "A fancy title means nothing if there is no substance." "How- How do you know that." "It was in one of your letters, remember? or do I have to remind you me and Celestia are the same pony" Twilight felt her back hit a wall, but LightMare got closer until she was practically was on top of Twilight, but they made no contact. "YOUR NOT CELESTIA I WON'T BELIEVE THAT, NEVER NEVER NEVER!" "SILENCE FOOL!" LightMare slapped the purple alicorn, whose skin seemed to melt, she cried out in pain, LightMare turned around. "You don't get it, do you? I AM A MANIFESTATION OF CELESTIA'S FEARS" then Twilight opened her eyes, which were tightly closed as she expected another slap. But then it hit her.

"Your- Celestia's fear?"

LightMare looked back.

"So that means. . ."

LightMare froze as the Purple alicorn stepped around and in front of her

"Celestia was- You are afraid. . . of losing. . . ponies you loved? You use this form to protect them. . . Like you did when NightMare tricked you into thinking Luna was back. . . and then she made you angry, and sad because. . . you lost Luna. . . and many other ponies. . . that you cared about. . . LIke Levier and StarSwirled. You loved them, but you lost them just like another pony you loved and lost to NightMare Moon. but It goes back farther, Discord stole Luna from you, so you used this power you have. . . to get her back. . . but when you saved her. . . she yelled at you. . . for using this form. . . But also because after the incident. . . everypony thought you were a monster, and you lost a lot of friends too, and respect as well, ponies feared you, so you were afraid you'd lose everything and tried not to use this form again. Your Celestia's fears, I'm sorry I didn't see that. I feel like a fool. You were right"

Twilight fell into LightMare Sun's hooves. LightMare Sun was cooling off, her wings turned into ashes along with her tail. The cracks that once glowed bright orange became only dimly glowed. "Somepony finally got it" her insanity and heat had exhausted the little alicorn. But then something no pony expected, the elements got up, as well as Twilight, "Celestia?!- Why are you taking control of us?!? please let us help!" Twilight cried in between tears, her friends drowsily cried as well, Luna tried to get up and stop her sister, who had returned to her normal self. She smiled. It was not a genuine smile, it was a smile you'd give someone if you would not see them for a long, long time, it was wide as her eyes glowed a bit and her own horn lit up it's sunlight color, "I'm sorry, but I have to do this to you Twilight" Twilight, AppleJack,FlutterShy,Rarity, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash unwillingly used the elements, Luna could only helplessly watch. Twilight's body glowed pure white, while her eyes shined purple, she sped towards Celestia, pushing her up into the air at supersonic speeds, several Rainbooms followed in her wake. Celestia did not struggle, only cry. Their feelings mixed between happiness and melancholy, she felt a numbing pain spread up her, she gladly felt it, she put Luna through the same pain over a thousand years ago. She closed her eyes as they neared to top of the atmosphere, still moving faster. They were heading towards the Sun. That is where Celestia wanted to go. They entered space but Twilight's body still glowed brightly like a star, her eyes still glistening, Her hooves still were pushing Celestia towards her own Star, who she shepherded for the longest time. The pain was numbed, and she grew warm as they neared the Sun, Twilight still pushing. They finally arrived and Twilight stopped, Celestia still rocketed into her Sun.She fell into her Sun, sleeping peacefully. Twilight's body dimmed and the purple alicorn saw Celestia fly into the Sun. "Celestia!" she tried to yell, but her voice could not be carried, she could not fly closer either. Twilight cried, sobbing uncontrollably, she drifted back to Equestria, and flew slowly down, her whole body ached. When she landed, she was greeted by Luna, who carried her back to the library, and tucked in by Spike. As he did with the rest of his friends.

Luna looked up at the Sun the next morning, it had been a twenty days of mostly night to make up for the thirteen days, it was winter in Equestria and the time needed to balanced out. Luna stared out the window at the morning Sun, which rose on it's own it seemed, but she knew Celestia was doing it reflexively. Her face was bandaged and had a cast over her back hoof, which got sprained badly during the fight. The others were also recovering well but she could feel a great void in her heart. Celestia would be gone for a long, long time. Luna would wait for her, just as Celestia did.

Celestia woke up in her Sun and looked down at herself, her body was fine, for all the things she just went through. She could not leave though, she didn't want to; Whats the point of being banished if you can just come right back?. Celestia closed her eyes and knew Akikilr would be there. "Akikilr? you here?" Celestia walked about the first plane, and found a small pile of ashes sitting close by along with a note.

"Dear Celestia,

I must inform you that as you know, I am dead. The Elements of Harmony stripped me fro your soul, but LightMare is still within you, please be careful of that. I know what you're thinking; "Wouldn't I die too if you were taken off?" but no. Actually I was merely stuck onto you, not inside of your soul case, certain parts of me are like insanity and anger. Yes, I know. This is probably the last epiphany i'll ever have, you though will live on. Thank you Celestia for everything, I appreciate it, but now I will return to my sister. Goodbye

Celestia had returned to her old soul case, a pony just like the others, but her soul shone brightly through. It hurt her to know Akikilr was dead, but she also no longer had to hear his whispers of destruction and death. She would miss him, but for now she was glad he died peacefully.

Twilight woke up a month after her flight. Her body still ached but she needed to admire the Sunrise, no pony would stop her, her friends helped her up to her balcony, where she sat down and looked. "I think I'm just gonna sit here today." Twilight answered back as Spike set her down on a blanket. "Just call me if you need something" Spike called out as she walked down stairs. "I think I'll be fine, if you want you can go play or something" Spike nodded and ran out the door to meet Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo, who waited for him outside the library. Philomena joined Twilight, she was sad that her longtime friend and owner was gone, trapped in her own Sun, but Twilight comforted her a bit, telling her she never wanted Celestia to go either. News Ponies attempted to bother Twilight but it only took one answer to get them to leave

"Celestia isn't a monster, she was consumed by how badly you treated her but also to terrible things ponies have said behind her back. She tried so hard to make everypony at least content! But also many other things come into play. You cannot blame her, *she banished herself*. I did nothing but- you know what! I'm not speaking about this anymore. Go away and let me enjoy the Sunrise!"

The news ponies got this and left, but a familiar grey pegasus stood out, Twilight flew down to see it was the filly from weeks before. "Hello again, what are you doing here?" "My mommy wanted to come and say what you did took a lot of courage! I didn't see the fight with NightMare moon, but she said what you did was AWESOME- well she didn't say it like that, she said a lot of big words and such, I don't remember what she said" The little colt flushed red, "It's quite alright" She bent down a hugged the little colt, who embraced it. He left eventually but not without a bow. Twilight waved goodbye and that was it.

EPILOGUE

Luna paced back and forth between the astronomy area. The sun had not rose as it did for the past 800 years, Celestia had been doing it for those many years. Twilight though, was in the library below, speaking with her friends. Rarity started off with, "It's been awhile hasn't it? I can imagine why, I mean after all, The White valley is treacherous." Pinkie Pie returned from a meeting with the Royal court, she walked in but bumped her head on the door. "Man, 700 years like this and I'm still not used to being so tall!" Rarity and Twilight laughed. Rarity's horn lit up and a cup of cocoa levitated up into the air and flew over to Pinkie, who grabbed it a sipped. This is one of the few moments they had time to themselves. But as they chatted about random things, AppleJack burst through the door, she panted and her face was red. "AppleJack what's wrong?" Rarity ran over, while Twilight flew over head. Pinkie Pie stretched her neck up. "Second- sun!" "AppleJack, slow down, what are you talking about!?" Twilight helped the tired mare up. "Well, I was walking outside and all the sudden, this big flash appeared out of the sky! and the I heard it, almost like a million thunderstorms! but even brighter!" "So a meteor?" "No! not a meteor- like a second Sun! but it was moving real fast , like when Rainbow Dash pulled off a Rainboom!- but less rainbow" Twilight gave a peculiar stare, but ran outside. She saw it. A large bright object struck through the sky, it was loud, Very loud. TWilight held her wings over her ears while the others tried to cover theirs with their hooves; unlike Twilight they did not gain additional horns or wings. They stayed the same, except height wise. The object thundered across the sky, a trail of fire and light was in it's wake. It shone brightly against the cold winter evening. It headed east, towards Ponyville. "It's headin' straight towards Ponyville!" Twilight charged up a barrier spell and deflected the meteor, but it flew up again, still glowing brightly. Then it attempted to fly back up again, but Luna flew up towards it. She sped up, going faster and faster. The orb flashed brightly then stopped. A silhouette stood out against the last bit of light. An Alicorn. It charged up it's horn and lowered the Sun, then it flew off. "Celestia?" Luna tried to fly after the mare, but instead got sped away from, after a sharp glow of orange eyes, that of a snakes. A small explosion followed and a figure known as LightMare Sun appeared. "No- Celestia!" Luna cried out, then flew over to the creature. But instead of it hurting her, it embraced her. "Luna, I was so worried about you." Luna looked up, and The helmet did have eyes in it. They were Celestia's. Her skin though was not what Luna remembered. It was still dark red with cracks of orange lava peering through, a scar appeared where NightMare Moon struck her, it glistened black. Celestia's flaming tail calmed, and she flew down with her sister. Who she sat with and cried with, they hugged each other for a few minutes, but then as the snow began to drift, Celestia limped with her sister. Her wings kept Luna warm, and Luna comforted her older sister, while also letting her lean on, the flames did not hurt, in fact were more kind than harmful. Celestia hurt her front hoof while speeding towards Ponyville. She didn't know how long she'd been gone, so she figured that Twilight would have been in Ponyville, but went too fast. She couldn't change her direction very well, so by the time she realized she would not been able to stop, she already attempted to change course. She'd rather smash into the ground below than hurt innocent ponies, but then she slammed into a purple force-field, her speed had launched her back off though. So she had to limp. Celestia walked back into the castle (with Luna's help) and admired how much had changed. The main hall had been redone, it was creamy colored with a soft rug underneath, it had blue and purple designs of swirls and stars. Stained glass told her storied since she left. A whole wall was NightMare Moon's while it was mirrored by her own before she was banished, She almost cried but straightened up and walked past. Luna noticed this and looked forward as well. Celestia walked into the throne room, which still had her throne reserved. It had not collected dust at all, but it did have a paque under it saying "Princess Celestia of Equestria, dearly missed." Celestia watched a whole crowd of eyes glance her way, then they stared at her. Her exterior was quite threatening. A quick mental message from Luna told her to play along. "This is Soare, she is not from here." Celestia used her "scary voice" which is the one that her darker counterpart sounded like. "Hello". The officials looked at each other, either utterly confused or frightened. Celestia took a bow and then walked over to one of the ponies, who was giving her an angry look, Celestia, joking with Luna, lifted up her helmet and a black glossy tongue stuck out, it curled around, extremely long, and kissed one of the mares, who fainted. Celestia laughed with Luna and they walked on. The mares and stallions who helped the unconscious mare stared at Celestia and Luna as they walked down the hallway. "who. . . was that?" "Maybe it was one of those 'old friends' Luna talked about" "I doubt Princess Luna would be friends with that... thing" Celestia looked back, and hissed at them, her black tongue almost touching the ground whilst her short rainbow mane sat on her shoulders. Luna and Celestia turned back and laughed at the freaked out mares. "Did you see their faces!" Luna jokingly toiled. "Yes, they were absolutely frightened!" Celestia liked to tease others occasionally, but would not test her limits. "Anyhow, so where are my little ponies?" Celestia took off the rest of her armor and her mane turned red at her will as well as her tail. She became a kirin like figure, but her wings became that much like a dragon's. Celestia was not ashamed of her true form, but she'd rather not be in it all the time. Her snake-like eyes shone dimly in the darkened room. But she didn't know what lay inside... A flash of horns and a few grunts later and Celestia was tied up and upside down. "what the-?!?" Apple Jack let go of the rope and Celestia fell down. "Your not LightMare, but yous sure do look like er'" "AppleJack, Rarity, Twilight, Pinkie Pie, this is Soare, as you can tell she isn't from here." Luna helped her sister up "er- well sorry miss Soare- we thought you looked like..." "It's quite alright" her glossy black tongue stayed in her mouth this time, but not without dragging in attention from a certain Rainbow maned pegasus. "GET DOWN!" Rainbow Dash tackled her friends into the floor. "GAH- Rainbow, this is Soare" "Oh... sorry" Rainbow Dash got off her friends and then shook hooved with the strange kirin. "Sorry about that." Celestia smiled and they walked out. "So miss Soare, where'd you come from?" "Hielos" "You mean where the Phoenix ponies live!" Celestia nodded, but then she realized she had not eaten in over 800 years. "May we get something to eat? I'm famished."
