Earth Universe #34105-7b
Earth has many parallel universes, many with as tiny differences as a person sneezing one second and in another universe the same person sneezing one second later. Others have huge differences such as the Egyptian gods never existing and others with gods using earth as a playing field.
On this particular version of earth a battle for the planet was taking place. Heroes like Superman, Batman, Wonderwoman, and many others vs. villains of the likes that wanted the world to burn a.k.a the Joker, Lex Luther, Circe, and hundreds more. Our story focuses on one little team of villains who were instrumental to tipping the balance of the scales between good and evil.
This team consisted of a fire elemental monk, a telekinetic warrior, and a yellow lantern. Each had their own style, the fire elemental named Shadowkon who used fire and a oversized staff. Many would say his outfit suited his name quite well. Wearing a midnight black suit with a red trim, coupled with the mask and tattered cape he was the ashes of hell itself.
Viconis the telekinetic warrior wielded two blades that acted as extensions of his arms. Those who saw him and lived to tell of him said he looked more like a man in demon armor with soulless eyes. In fact they were quite spot on for he wore a gas mask, and a demonic armor forged in hell being a sickly corrupted gold and red, with its trim being black. giving him the appearance of one of the many demons who resided in hell.
Now the yellow lantern Kirn used his ring to make all those who met him run in fear. Many a story have been made about him all ranging from him being able to beat armies of men to groups of heroes all single-handedly. But those who ran away to tell their stories spread more fear about him increasing his power therefore making him an even more unstoppable force.
Currently they were fighting in the ruined city of Metropolis, within the first hours of the fight, towers had fallen, entire buildings had been blown up and hundreds were killed. Now let’s focus on our hero- ahem villains.

Ducking underneath an arrow Vicon sent a telekinetic blast back at the archer, sending said archer flying off the roof. Turning his attention back to the battle at hand he blocked a swipe from one of the hundreds of heroes and trapped the hero inside a ball before flicking his hand away.
“That’s fourty-nine Kon!” Turning towards Vicon, Kon raised his staff at him, sneering underneath his mask Vicon raised a shield made of pure thought around his body. Taking care to aim right Kon shot the heroine sneaking up behind Vicon with a fireball of pure fury.
“And that’s seventy-eight for me!” Rolling his eyes underneath his mask Vicon set his eyes on another hero and leaped at him, blades outstretched and rocket boots firing. Seeing a group of cops Shadowkon turned himself into flames and popped up in the middle of the group.
“’Ello guvs!” Twirling his staff in his right hand he batted away one of the cops and summoned a wall of fire in front of himself. Gesturing with his hands he sent it towards the cops, incinerating more than half of them. Seeing out of the corner of his eye one of the cops leveling his gun at him he threw his staff. The cop ducked underneath it and smiled.
“You’re gonna pay.” Shaking his finger Shadowkon sent two whips of fire to the two ends of his staff now on the other side of the cop.
“GET OVER HERE!” Pulling with his fire whips he flew the staff into the back of the cop. The cop in turn was sent flying towards him. Freeing one of his hands he grabbed the cop by the throat and made him burst into flames. Looking at the ashes in his hand he laughed. “Heh references.”
Turning into flames once more he went back into the fray. Kirn stood abov- er well hovered above it all. He paid no mind to the flying magicians or demons, buzzing all around him. He had eyes for one lantern and one lantern alone. Leaning forwards he flew over the battlefield, quickly reacting he barely avoided Wonder woman, sent flying by Black Adam. Giving a nod to Black Adam as he flew by he continued on his quest.
“Where are you…?” Directing himself to the remains of a skyscraper he kneeled on the edge.
An irritating buzzing noise came to life in his ear. “Hey Kirn what are you looking for?”
“You should know by now Vicon.”
Another voice joined in before Vicon could reply. “Give it up already lugnut Killowag isn’t going to hand himself over to you on a silver platter.” Raising his left hand up to his face Kirn admired his ring.
“He will die by my hands whether he wants to or not, for willpower is nothing compared to fear.”
Picking himself up off the ground Vicon saw Supergirl sent flying underneath a leaning skyscraper. Using his mental powers he dropped the building on Supergirl, Vicon paused and said, “You’re not going to help us until you find Killowag are ya?”
No was his only reply sighing he gestured to the other villains that had helped him fight Supergirl to go on ahead. Bringing up his gauntlet he typed in a new frequency. “Betty where are you?”
“Oh hey boss! I was wondering if you were dead! Hey on a totally unrelated note can I have your stuff when you die?”
“No. But tell me have you seen Killowag?”
“Yea- Hold that thought.” While he was waiting he heard several dozen gunshots. After a minute or so he heard heavy breathing. “Sorry I’ma back!”
“That was a minute.”
“Well I’m sorry if I saw someone trying to take my guns. Anyways I saw Killowag down by the mall complex, well what’s left of it anyways.”
“Alright Betty head there. I’ll be there in a minute.”
“Aight boss! See ya in a minute!” The girl turned off his communicator, causing the line to go dead. Reaching for his gauntlet to switch back to the other channel, he noticed somebody sneaking up from behind him. Flipping forward he turned around, and just in time too, for the lady who had been sneaking up on him just made a huge crater with her fists in the ground.
“How bout you take me on bub!” Rolling his eyes Vicon brought both his hands up and sent her flying into another building, and with a few well-placed telekinetic blasts it was burying her. Turning back to his communicator he switched back to his previous channel. “Kirn, Shadow, I’ve got Killowag’s location. It’s the downtown mall complex, meet me there. And Kirn before you say anything I am not letting you take him on alone.
Swinging his staff into a hero’s face Shadow jumped backwards to avoid the counterblow. Setting his staff ablaze he threw it like a javelin into the hero’s gut. Pulling it out he touched the communicator in his ear. “Let’s have some fun!” Running over to a car he used it as a miniature trampoline and sent himself flying upwards a few stories. When he started to lose speed he used his fire powers to make his hands and feet into artificial jets sending him up to the top floor. “I’ll be there in a minute!”
Standing up from his kneeling position Kirn said into his own communicator, “Just don’t get in my way.” Jumping off the roof he headed towards the mall.

Luna stared at that which she had found in her own dreams. She was both amazed and scared of what she saw in it. Hundreds of thousands of aliens, many of them the same and others being drastically different. Some of them flew through the air blasting those below them to smithereens; others used magic and summoned monsters to do their bidding. Others still used metal sticks that spat out metal and fire, then even more used magic or something of the sorts to manifest constructs like fists, boots, anvils the list goes on and on.
All in all it was a battle for the planet. Taking a few steps forward from her perch she flew into the air passing harmlessly through a few of the combatants. All of a sudden a flash of gold passed through her she wondered what had this one in such a hurry. Flapping her wings she easily caught up to the creature. She wasn’t surprised when it started talking, after all it was her dream albeit it was quite different from what she was used to.
“Shadow where are you at,” Replying to something she couldn’t quite hear, it said “Alright remember mall complex man!” Following the thing she flew in front of it to see if it reacted, when it didn’t she decided to go back to shading it.
After a few minutes of semi-peaceful flying, which meant flying over aliens being dismembered, burnt to crisps among other things the alien suddenly stopped flying. Dropping straight to the roof next to another shorter alien it jumped and looked at the one which she had been shading.
In a cute sing-songy voice the little one hugged the bigger one and said, “Hey Vicy! I was wondering when you were gonna show I was getting all bored like ‘Should I go test out my new bazooka!’ Then I was like nah and now you’re here!”
Picking up the little one Vicy as it was called asked in a much deeper voice, “Have you seen Shadow or Kirn yet?”
“Nopety-nope-nope!”
Sighing the bigger one set her down, or at least Luna thought it was a she. “Well looks like we are going to wait aren’t we?”
A frown appeared on the little one’s face. “But that’s so boring!”
“I know. I know.” The bigger one sat down on the edge of the roof. The little one followed suit.
“Looks like we’re playing the waiting game again Vicy.” Leaning against the Vicy the little one sighed.
“Yeah.” Luna watched the two relax in the middle of a battlefield. She briefly wondered how these things could get so used to battles that they could actually relax.
Kicking her legs back and forth Betty sung a song to herself. “All around the cactus plant. The stalker chased the bandit. The stalker thought all was well.” Reaching for her left pocket she pulled out a grenade. Pulling the pin off, she threw it into the crowd of heroes and villains below. It exploded leaving a sizeable crater compared to the size of the grenade. “AND POP! Goes the bandit!”
Looking over to the ten-year old girl Vicon wondered how she was raised. Family eaten, thought of him, a so-called villain, as her hero, kills for fun and makes these random remarks and songs, some of which briefly creeped him out. He let his mind wander about what she would be doing after this before he returned his attention to what was important. Keeping his eyes open he watched the surrounding skyline for Kirn and Shadow and for any heroes that might try to sneak up on them.
A sudden burst of static notified him that at least one of them was close, or somebody had found out the hidden frequency. “Hey I see ya’ll!”
Tapping his own communicator he replied. “Have you seen Kirn?”
A hand popped over the edge of the building. “A lil help here eh?” Rolling his eyes Vicon levitated him up over the edge. When he dropped Shadowkon he just jumped back up on his feet and dusted himself off. “No thought he was with you. Cause only one yellow lantern cuts people into dozens of pieces.”
Rubbing his temples with his clawed gauntlets Vicon cursed under his breath. “Damn it Kirn.” Turning back to the edge of the roof he walked over and kneeled down to speak to Betty. “Alright Betty you have two options. One come with us and give us cover fire with your guns. Or two give us ranged support.”
She turned her head to give him a blank stare, and then broke out into a Cheshire cat smile. “Well duh it wouldn’t be fun watching the fun! So I’m coming with you.” Pushing herself off the roof she floated a few feet away from the edge. “So we going now? Or can I go get Sparkles.”
Standing back up to his full height Vicon replied, “No that idiot Kirn is going to get himself killed if we wait too long.” Turning to Shadow he asked. “So you said you can make fire minions?”
“Fire spawn. Ya’ know from hell that sorta thing.”
“How many?”
“Five-ten kinda matters how much fire I have to work with.” Bursting his left hand into flames he brought it up to his face, examining it. “For some reason natural fire works better for making fire spawn.”
“Your max is ten?”
Ducking underneath a piece of rubble sent flying by some person Shadowkon replied, “Well the more fire, the bigger or faster they are.” He rubbed the back of his head. “The more fire there is though the harder they are to control.”
Under his mask Vicon grinned. "Hey Betty."
Looking up, or down depending on how you look at it, from her upside down position Betty said, “Yesh?”
“How many incendiaries do you have?”
A frown came onto her face. “What type?”
“All of ‘em.”

Kirn barely blocked a hammer thrown by a green lantern, forging his own construct he chainsawed said green lantern in half. Making a shield around him he analyzed his situation, twenty plus green lanterns alone on him. Out of all the places in the city, the mall complex had to be the hero’s base of operations, AND where Killowag was.
Shaking his head he turned his shield into a impromptu battering ram and escaped the main part of the group that was after him. Flying underneath one of the stairwells he made several hundred pounds of explosives on it and waited for the green lanterns to come around it. Once the fifth green lantern passed through he detonated it, showering him, the lanterns, and the remains of the mall complex with yet more shrapnel.
Blinking his eyes to clear the dust out of his eyes he was tackled by one of them. Rolling and bouncing over several yards, and tripping a few combatants they came to a stop with the lantern on top of him.
“You will pay for your crimes!” A drill formed above Kirn’s head, scowling he head-butted the lantern breaking his concentration and his construct. Forming a shotgun he put the barrel to the lantern’s head and fired away. When there was nothing left he pushed the body to the ground. A cough behind him had him turning around at a lightning speed.
Over thirty lanterns even more than last time. But this time there was no-one else to sic the lanterns on, no-one to cover him. Growling he changed his minigun into two swords. Twirling them around skillfully he leveled one at the group in front of him.
"I will not die today."
One of the lanterns stepped forward to laugh at him. “Come on thirty-four of us and one of you man. Just give up and I promise we might consider a quick death for you.” Kirn just stuck his middle finger up. “Fine have it your way.” Each of the lanterns made their own constructs, ranging from guns to swords, and staffs.
The one in front was about to leap at him when the wall they were next to exploded. Making a fan to clear out the dust he grimaced at the sight that was hidden by the dust. Ten demons from hell, made purely of fire stood fifteen feet high, easily towering over everyone. Each of them had a set of horns, pointed forward and sharp enough to pierce skin easily. Two arms that ended in seven sharp claws, the claws each being thicker than a human forearm. And those faces, they were long like a crocodile’s and had the teeth of a crocodile’s, but where they had sharp teeth maybe up to four inches these each had the teeth of a saber-tooth.
One of the demons stepped forward dragging its claws on the ground towards the group, the leader stepped backward. Shaking his head he took a step back towards the beast. “How dare you step foot here demon!” He shouted menacingly at it.
“Hey now that ain’t nice fraulein!”
Surprised the lantern turned his head back and forth and yelled. “Come out coward!”
“Gimme a minute!” A hand appeared over the top of the closest demon’s head. It pulled itself up along with the rest of the body it was attached to. The man revealed himself by posing on the top of the demon’s head, in the likeness of Michael Jackson. Turning his attention back to the crowd below he crossed his arms. “Wow not even impressed do you guys even know how hard it is to summon demons!?!" Throwing his arms up in the air he exclaimed. "I mean like seriously!"
None of the green lanterns moved, they all just stared at him. Jumping off the demon’s head he twirled his staff and planted it into the ground beside him. Leaning against it he laughed. “Damn the crowd’s getting thick nowadays eh? Oh fine fuck all of you.” Waving his hand at them as if to wave them away.
Snapping his finger the demon’s took a few steps forward, and in turn the lanterns took a few steps back. “Ok fine Blitz, Comet, Charles, Chuckie, Sam, Inferno, Erif, Yonker, Frank and last but not least Snowflake! Sick ‘em!” Pointing his finger at them, the demon’s followed his orders and charged the lanterns.
“Okay seriously Snowflake? What type of name is that?” Kirn turned around to see Vicon standing in the hole along with his little girl, who was carrying a bazooka.
Shrugging his shoulders Shadow replied, “Look he’s the only demon that keeps coming to me, and that’s the only name I could permanently remember.”
"We'll talk about your... life choices later." Shaking his head he turned towards Kirn, walked towards him the floor cracking around his feet. “You imbecile there’s a reason I didn’t want you coming in here alone!”
Kirn didn’t back down, in fact he walked up to Vicon so close that their heads were touching. “And you know that the only reason we met is because of Killowag!"
They stood there like that for a minute until Shadow interrupted. “Hey guys not to interrupt the gay lovers quarrel moment.” They both looked over in his direction to see the demons and lanterns still fighting with each other and more lanterns incoming. “Um my pets and I could use a little help here.”
Kirn launched himself into the fray becoming little more than a hurricane of violence and swearing. Vicon turned around towards Betty. “Sweetie can you call Lex for me and tell him the hero’s HQ is at our position after that you can join in the fun.” He turned back around and charged up his telekinetic powers observing the fight before he jumped in.
Betty smiled and dropped the bazooka. Reaching for her own communicator she tuned it to Lex’s private frequency.

Grabbing another hero by the head Luthor squeezed until he stopped moving before tossing him aside, only to be hit by a giant ball of fire. Roaring he shot plasma at the direction where it had come from until it was little more than slag. Creating a shield of energy around himself he gave himself a moment to breath before punching another one away like a ragdoll.
He almost shot one of his followers when he heard a buzzing noise in his ear. Turning it on he breathed into it. “Who is this and what do you want?”
“Um hi my name’s Betty I’m Vic’s accomplice and apparently we found the hero’s HQ whatever that means…” Pausing Luthor put up another shield between him and the heroes currently trying to kill him. If they found the HQ they would’ve found where they housed the wounded, VIP’s and all the brains of their operations for this battle. That would mean they could end this battle in mere hours instead of days.
“Where is it Betty?”
“Um Vic said it’s at our position or something like that anyways it’s the big mall downtown. Now if you’ll excuse me I need to go shoot some heroes!” Before the girl hung up he could’ve sworn he heard her yell “Urah!”.
Turning to the command channel he spoke into his communicator with a slight excitement showing in his voice. “We’ve found the Hero’s HQ to all who hear me, head to the downtown megamall.” Starting up his own jets he rocketed towards the mall. Following him was more than half of the villains who were on the battlefield. It took the heroes a moment to notice before they noticed where they were heading. When they did all of the heroes took off in pursuit. All of them racing to get there before the others could.

Aiming Mr. Sparkles, which she found behind a dumpster earlier (No clue how it got there though), she settled for a hero who was using vines as whips on her friends. Pulling the trigger a rocket painted with a smiling(deranged) bunny (bunny with no face save for its mouth) rocket hurtled towards the hero, trying to form a barrier around himself he was incinerated by the ensuing blast.
Taking another rocket out of god knows where she put it into the tube. Picking out another target she aimed and pulled the trigger. When it didn’t fire she looked down the barrel. “Damnit Mr. Sparkles!” Slamming it against the ground it finally triggered the firing mechanism and flew out the hole in the roof above her. “Oh…… note to self check to make sure there’s a hole in the roof before doing that.”
Putting Mr. Sparkles down she pulled out her other guns and yelled “Yipee-kay-ee!” Before flying into the major melee brawl below her.
Looking up at Betty, Vicon almost got his head cut clean off his shoulders by one of the heroines fighting him. He flicked his hand and moved her slashing sword a little far to the left to avoid it cutting him. Grabbing one of his swords he stabbed her straight through before quickly withdrawing it to block another blow from a hero. Trapping the man and a few others inside balls of pure thought, he leaped at a lantern that had Shadowkon pinned to the ground. Tackling him off of Shadow he started beating him ruthlessly.
With the lantern and Vicon wrestling over to his right Shadow flipped back onto his feet and grabbed his staff. Setting it back on fire he twirled it around in a large circle, making a miniature tornado of fire and sent it flying at a group of heroes harassing Snowflake. The tornado consumed the heroes and just made Snowflake bigger. Snowflake looked at him then back at the heroes and charged them. Shaking his head Shadow twirled and smashed his staff into the skull of some person that had been unlucky enough to be behind him.
Tricking them into getting into a circle around him he channeled most of his fire into one end of the staff and smashed it against the ground creating a shockwave of fire, consuming the heroes who were stupid enough to stand there and watch as he did an obvious move. Adding more fire to the same end of the staff he made a flail out of it and taunted his opponents. “Come on man. I promise I won’t break yo leg. ‘Ey look at me nigga I’m black!” Seizing their moment of confusion he jumped at them with his fire flail.
Kirn rolled his eyes and summoned a series of spikes out of the ground impaling a few heroes. Rolling in the air to avoid a few enemies blasts of magics, telekinesis and willpower he brought a tank into existence. A few were quick enough to get out of the way but others well… Nobody would be able to say for sure they died. (Which means little was left of them.)
Flying backwards he shot the roof, causing it to collapse on the heroes and their allies. Staying there he looked at the miniature battlefield before flying back into the fray. Slicing through heroes and people alike he landed next to Vicon who was currently inside one of his though bubbles, hiding behind it like a coward. Kicking away a hero who was getting a little too close for comfort, he brought out a sword and shield and backed up next to Vicon.
Vicon dropped his shield and created an illusion of a dragon with glass for teeth and steered the illusion into the crowds. Some heroes ran for their lives and others stood there and were cut to ribbons by the glass skillfully hidden by the illusion. Making another illusion of more villains incoming coming at them the remaining heroes fled.
Snowflake with Shadow standing on top of it's head walked over to them. Raising his hand like he was asking a question in school. “Any ideas why those idiots just up and left? I mean like Snowflake here’s the only demon of mine still alive if anything they should’ve been charging us.” He said while petting Snowflake.
Waving his hand Vicon said. “Simple illusion made them think they were outnumbered.”
“Well shall we move on then? I want Killowag.”
“I want a snack!” Looking over at Betty, Shadow shrugged and tossed her a sandwich, Vicon looked at him before shrugging his shoulders, they were in the middle of a mall. Taking it she munched content to just float there and listen. Shaking his head at their antics Vicon spoke.
“Okay we have Luthor and probably most of the fight coming here we need to make this quick and dirty.” Pointing at Betty he said, “Okay I need you to take out any long range heroes the archers and the like. Shadow I need you to help me with crowd control. Kirn you’re the bulldozer.”
“So we’re not waiting for the others?” Kirn asked raising his eyebrow.
Picking up a sword off the ground and running his finger along it Vicon replied. “When Lex, Joker and the others get here who do you think will follow them?”
“Oh damn you mean you just called in the whole fight to this mall?” Vicon nodded at Shadow. “Damn man when they get here it won’t be a fight for the planet it’ll be a fight for our lives, ‘specially with the close quarters in here!” Gesturing at the close shops, and stores.
“Exactly, and with Kirn’s obsession we have to hurry or have him piss all of our allies off. trying to kill Killowag.” Nodding in understanding they all agreed with him.
“Alright then let’s get going.” Vicon ran off further into the mall with the others following.

Being careful to walk around the group of heroes running towards where they had been earlier the group continued forward, under Vicon’s illusion that cloaked them from all but the sharpest of minds and eyes. Keeping under the cover of darkness and his illusion the group crept closer and closer to their goal.
Creeping over closer to Vicon, Shadowkon whispered, “Hey how long till Lex and ‘em get here?”
“About a minute or so if your guys arrival time is anything to compare theirs to.”
Walking up behind them Kirn asked, “So where do you think Killowag would be around here I haven’t seen any sign of that coward.”
“Says the one hiding behind an illusion!” Startled they all looked up to see the main leaders of the justice league, Superman, Wonder woman, Batman and a few other noticeable members of the justice league including Killowag standing across from them.
“Oh dayum….” Standing up the group of four villains got ready for the fight of their lives.
Dropping the illusion Vicon gave his swords an experimental twirl. Superman shook his head at this. “Come now you think that you four can take us all on? Quite sad you villains.”
“Well I’m sure not going to let you take me down without a fight.” The other three nodded in agreement with Kirn. Rolling his eyes Superman took a step forward and was about to jump at them and put them out of their miserable existence.
When suddenly big green armor suit.
Blinking to make sure he didn't just imagine it Superman stared at Lex Luthor and the League of Doom who had just appeared out of nowhere, in between the two groups, with villains coming from the edge of the mall. As if to answer the un-asked question Luthor said, "Teleportation a little project I've been working on."
“Luthor..” Tightening his fists Superman pointed his chin upwards. “So this is how it’s all going to end? Us killing each other?”
The Joker stepped forward out of the crowd of villains that had congregated around the League of Doom. With a maniacal grin and laughing the whole while he said, “I don’t mind how about you batty?” Receiving no response from Batman he just shrugged.
They all stood there glaring at each other. No one knew who shot the first shot but a person on each side crumpled to the ground in pain. At this both sides charged, out for blood.

“Come now Lulu it’s time to raise the moon.” She nuzzled her sister to wake her up for the fifth time. But like the previous times her little sister slept in her bed lost to the world. Shaking her head Celestia walked towards the double doors that had been recently fixed, after a thousand years of disuse.
Looking back at the sleeping form of her sister she smiled. “Well I guess I can take care of your duties tonight,” Using her magic to grab the doors to pull them closed, she didn’t notice the faint grimace of pain flash across Luna’s face.
