Soul Light's point of view

The train grinds near the tracks. I just sat there, wearing my black jacket, wondering if things could be different. Wondering if my special somepony is really special to me...Wondering, why am I still alive? It was in the middle of the night, a cold and lonely night. I remembered what happened to get me here. Memories shot past my mind.

"Do you want us to be together son? Do you love Equestria son? Your brother, your mother?"

"Soul Light! You will pay for what you done!"

"Doesn't matter. If we can prove ourselves then we can get out of this hell hole. What's your name?"

"Oh Soul Light, *WHY SPOIL THE SURPRISE?*"

Then my mind snapped back to reality. I remembered that voice a long, long time ago. Why did they stop trying to make my life miserable? I know I should be glad but...maybe they are planning something more than that. The train screeched when I saw the tracks in front of us were missing. I started to get out from my seat, but more images of the black and white Fluttershy and Dash invaded my mind, causing me to faint. The world darkened around me. Or I was closing my eyes...

All of a sudden, I opened my eyes to find myself on an island. The island was filled with palm trees and sand, with an enormous volcano in the center of it. The sun shined a little bit too bright for me to see, but I somehow manage to make it to a rocky ground. A letter magically appeared in front of me by a sort of blue glow. I read what was on the letter, but instantly widened my eyes as I read the words.

Do what?

I looked around and saw a cave inside the volcano. All of this seems too familiar to me. As I went inside, I remember where this came out of.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent

No way I'm going in there...

I walked away but some invisible wall is blocking my path. If I wanted to make it out of this island alive, I'm going to have to play with this game...

But when I got inside of the cave...things aren't what I expected to be. Some kind of magic force pushed me away off of the island. I traveled a long distance in the air. Waiting for something to happen...It did. In the air, I saw the Fluttershy on the picture, only with black mane and white coat. She was getting closer. I thought she was an angel, but with all the blood and chains she had, I used my wings and flew away. She followed me and I tried to make it to another place intact. Fluttershy used her chains and restricted my flight. I fell right into the ocean and swam away from her. Water was more resistant than air so Fluttershy charged at me in the ocean. I had no choice but to fight this 'Fluttershy'. I punched her with my hooves and she kicked at my chest. Bubbles came out from me when I ran out of breath. Strangely, no bubbles came from her. Meaning she was already dead.

Fluttershy...

I almost started to drown as I get one last breath of air, before 'Fluttershy' used her chains to leash me down in the water. My eyes started to darken, my throat was filled with water, but nothing can compare to the death of a special pony.

My eyes squinted at the sunlight that was blinding me, my body was relaxed against the puffy floor, but my mind was nothing but troubled. I saw a dark spot in the air closing in on me. As the shadow came closer, the pegasus landed next to me.

"Hey Soul Light! What are you doing up here?" It was Rainbow Dash, but something seems...off.

"I don't know actually, at first I was drowning by fighting Fluttershy's corpse and-"

"You killed Fluttershy!!??"

"No no no! I didn't! Somepony else-"

"Murderer!" She punched me in the face with light speed and continued to punch me until I kicked her off of me.

"Dash! You don't understand! I-"

"Soul Light! You will pay for what you done!"

"Wait a minute..."

This must be one of my nightmares about the past.

"Listen Dash!"

"No!" She tackled me and again I kicked her to buy me some time.

"If you won't listen, then I guess I'll have to beat it out of you!"

"Try me!"

We flew in the air and punch after punch, blood came out of us. I had the upper hand since I used to be an Earth pony, but she had speed with her. This all comes down to a contest of which attribute means more. Speed or Power? With one last punch to each others face, I sent Dash flying away, but Dash had knocked me out.

"Hmm...heart beat, 78, blood pressure, 89, age ,21...looking good Soul."

I opened my eyes to see where I was. In the ruins, an army of guards circled around me and unsheathed their weapons. As they lunged towards me, I dodged and punched back. They disappeared one by one. A guard told me to stop and I did.

"Who are you?" I looked at the green, armored unicorn as he said, "Doesn't matter. If we can prove ourselves then we can get out of this hell hole. What's your name?"

"Soul Light..."

"O.K Soul...You see that ring over there?"

"What ring?" The guard uses his horn to fire at the direction he pointed to. The bolt shattered, revealing an enormous blue force field. He signals me to follow him to the field. As I entered the field, I was surprised at how peaceful it looked. Houses, grass, and even clear blue skies. Following the guard down the steps, I hear a muffled roar in front of me as a pony with a sledge hammer came up to me. I dodged the sledge hammer and tackled him. I took his hammer away from him and smashed his skull in with it. After three swings, his head was reduced to flesh and broken bones. The guard disappeared. I search around town and found my house, only that it's run down and old.

When I opened the door and went upstairs to my room, I found a green book that sat on the chair. On top of it was the letters 'Dash's Diary'. When I opened the first page, I could not believe my eyes. A hoof grabbed me and tried to get me inside the book. I punched the wrist and closed the book immediately. A pony came behind me and I turn around swinging my hoof.

"Who are you? And why are you doing this to me?"

"Oh Soul Light, *WHY SPOIL THE SURPRISE?*"

The floor broke under my hooves. I fell into the abyss below and the world spins around me. I was now suspended in zero gravity. I was moving towards something...fast, and then suddenly I was thrown into the sand. Thousands of ponies were in the bleachers as a wooden structure came at me. I knew this all too well, so I let myself pain and was knocked out of my mind. Then I saw Derpy. Eating a muffin as usual with her back turned to me. A sudden vision filled my mind. She was going to be a criminal, by killing me. I thought that was true at the time...so I...snapped her neck. After realizing what I have done, I wept on the floor. My tears turned smelly and burns my eyes. My father appeared in those tears.

"Do you want us to be together son? Do you love Equestria son? Your brother, your mother?"

"Dad? Wait...You're, you're not real" I let out a few laughs as my father did not laugh at all. He says it again as he lights a match. This wasn't my father, this was a monster. He lit himself on fire and me. The flames crackled at my coat. The fire burned my eyes to ash, and my tail and mane was on fire. My hooves melted, I was screaming in pain, but a part of me still clings on to life. That part of me made my melted hooves move, bear the flames from my mane and tail, and see without my eyes. I touched what I think was the sink and washed myself in water. Somehow, it healed me. I could see, but my mane and tail was still on fire. My hooves were not melted anymore, but my deep blue eyes are fire with red. This didn't make any sense. My wings, my mane and tail, my eyes, and even a part of me is in flames. I walked outside to see a dark smoke coming. Then the smoke suffocated me, my soul leaving my body, but I had a chance and I won't waste it.

I cling on to life. As the smoke disappears, I see a yellow orange pegasus with a gray and red mane and tail. The pegasus...was me.

I starred at him. He stared at me. I wonder how I looked like, all fired up in flames. He looks angrily to me. And in an instance, he disappeared. A sudden pain stabs my chest. I lost my will to go on. I can't take this anymore, this can't happen to me. My eyes give up on me...until I see one last sight of the special someponies I love. Ditzy, Fluttershy, Dash, Nashadow, Soul Break, Ginka, and myself...Blood. They look at me with tears, disgust, and misery. Why do they look at me like that? Those faces torment me without end as my eyes refused to close. Looking at Dash reminds me of the sky. Of how she smiled that day when she let me read her diary. Rainbows that give happiness to me. Then I looked at Fluttershy. A strong, but shy mare who cares for others. I won't forget the day she said, "I love you." Then there's Derpy, cross eyed but she accepts it. She tolerates herself and others for their mistakes. Then there's Nashadow. Affectionate, loving, and a bit on the sexual side. But she is always ready to do her job. Even if it involves stripping. Then there's Soul Break, together at birth, always helping me with stuff I couldn't do alone. Now he's his own colt. Ginka, a fellow guard since my death has helped me get out of my execution alive. Without him, I would be dead. And finally there's Blood. Not much to explain since she is almost exactly like me.

My eyes begin to tear up. This is the end of my life. My eyes slowly closed as I smile at my death. But no. Not today that I will die. I opened my eyes to see a train crash. With me in it. I crawled out of the train and couldn't sleep. I feared that if I did sleep, I would never wake up again. I feel my mane and tails. They were not fire anymore. As I walk past the glass, a firey pegasus appeared. Firey eyes, mane and tail looked at me. Copying my every move. Then I realize, this is my reflection. But no...It was my next nightmare.
