Two Moms, a Dad, and a Past Best Kept Hidden...
Prologue: A 17 Year Old Filly
"Yeah. I'll see you tomorro-- well would you like who it is, Silver Spoon?" Diamond Tiara said to her best friend.
"It isn't the Cutie Mark Crushers, is it?" Silver Spoon answered. Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo looked up from the two young colts they were talking to, who had yet to receive their cutie marks. The two colts looked up as well with questioning looks.
"I think it is," Diamond answered, "Hey you colts had better run before they destroy your chances of getting cutie marks." The two colts looked up at the three ponies who they had been talking to.
"What do they mean?" The younger of the two colts asked.
"Nothing. They're bullies. but you two probably should get home before your father gets worried." Scootaloo told them. She noogied the younger colt and the two colts ran off.
"Why do ya'll always hafta be so mean?" Apple Bloom demanded, stamping her hoof, once the colts were gone.
"Yeah! Haven't you grown out of this petty foal-hood hatred you have of us?" Sweetie Belle added.
"Well..." Silver started.
"No!" Diamond answered and laughed, "You three are still pathetic losers, and just because you finally got your cutie marks doesn't make you any cooler." Sweetie Bell looked at her flank, where there had been a blue bird with a white bell over it for almost seven years.
"No. It makes us unique. Something rich snobs like you could never quite manage." Scootaloo said and walked away, steeling herself and glancing back at her flank, where she had a skateboard with a fire trail.
"Aaw! Look! At least one of them knows when to back down." Silver laughed.
"Hey! That's one a' mah best friends! You best be backin' off!" Apple Bloom yelled. She stomped towards the two rich bullies a few steps and fumed in their faces for a minute before saying, "Y'hear me?" Silver Spoon nodded and ran away, while Diamond Tiara just picked up her hoof and pushed Apple Bloom's face away.
"Ew! Get your disgusting face out of mine! And take your gross breath with you!" Diamond nagged. "And what kind of cutie mark is a cart full of flowers anyways--?"
"They're apple flowers." Apple Bloom said through ground teeth.
"Whatever. They're lame! I don't even know why I waste my time talking to you pack of disgusting babies!" Diamond said this with a sense of finality so strong that Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom were almost compelled to turn around and follow in their friend's wake, which they did.
Diamond smiled evilly to herself and walked out of the school towards home.

"Wasn't that awesome?!" Diamond said upon hearing another pony's hoofsteps behind her. She turned around, expecting to see Silver Spoon, but instead not seeing anything. Assuming her mind was playing tricks on her, the young pony turned back around and continued trotting down the back alley that was the fastest way to her home.
She hadn't gone twenty steps when she heard it again.
"Alright. No more hide and seek. I know somepony's there. Come on out." Diamond said, turning around once again. But again, there was nothing to be seen. She sighed and was turning back around before she found herself being jumped. She turned immediately onto her back, which proved to be the worst thing she could've done as she felt her attacker assault her sexually.
"Get off! Help!!" She screamed, trying to push him away. He grabbed her hoof in his mouth and twisted it until she heard it crack, and break. She screeched on the very top of her lungs, but no one was coming.
She tried to use her hind hoof to kick his tool, which only pissed him off and made him punch her, once in each eye, and once hard in the middle of her chest. She screamed some more, before blacking out after he rolled her over and smacked her head into the wall of one of the buildings forming the alley.

"I know, but she's alright. She'll be fine." Diamond Tiara slowly faded into consciousness and tried to open her eyes, but the pain she felt by simply attempting to use those muscles made her scream, or, would've made her scream had her vocal chords not been injured in the attack.
She couldn't look around, or move any of her limbs, but somehow she could hear.
She made a raspy sound and heard hoofsteps move toward her. Not being able to see she was a little worried about them touching her.
"Diamond Tiara? Can you hear me, hun?" Diamond heard Nurse Redheart ask. She made a sound that somehow resembled a "yes", if it wasn't for all the high raspiness that accompanied it. "Alright, I'm going to help you open your eyes, okay?" Nurse Redheart didn't wait for Diamond to answer, she just started rubbing something on Diamond's eyes and soon started coaxing them open.
Once they were open it took Diamond a minute to get used to the hospital lighting. The first thing she saw was her father, and then Silver Spoon, and then, in the corner of the room, Scootaloo.
"Scoo--?" Diamond tried to mention the pony in the corner, who was asleep, but her throat and neck hurt far too much for that.
"Don't try to talk. Whatever happened damaged your vocal chords. I expect them to heal, but try not to use your voice too often. Do you think you could manage that?" Nurse Redheart asked. Diamond gave the faintest of nods.
"I'm just glad she'll live." Diamond's father said, stroking Diamond's mane.
"Me too! But, Mr. Rich, what will happen to her?" Silver Spoon asked, terrified for her friend.
"I'm not sure, Silver." Filthy Rich hung his head and left the hospital room. Silver hung her own head as well.
"What's Scoot--" Diamond started before shutting her mouth at a look from Nurse Redheart.
"She found you..." Silver Spoon answered Diamond's question even though it hadn't been finished. Diamond then nodded softly and drifted back to sleep.
